Aloha Smiles staff are all very kind and informative. Whenever I had any questions or concerns they were happy to answer and in no way made me feel anxious about anything. They provided honest answers regarding the urgency of certain procedures which I really respect. Past dentists I've visited always felt very pushy when it came to very expensive procedures that weren't actually time sensitive. I really appreciate Aloha smiles and am happy to have them now as my go to!

It’s been my second time coming here and it’s been very great! Recently, I came in to seek preventative care and saw the hygienist and Dr. Kim (I wish I knew his first name, just to be specific). They were both empathetic, knowing that I would walk through the corridor with trepidation. They both exude passion for oral care/dentistry and it’s something that should always be looked at when choosing a new dentist. The ambience for this dental practice is awesome! The room temperature was great. Both times that I’ve visited, I had amazing vista views of Ala Moana Beach Park that kind of made me forget why I was there. When I first had my appointment, it was very easy and accessible to find Aloha Smiles. Parking was easy to find since it Ala Moana Center and no need to find street parking. I usually don’t write long reviews, but I just had an amazing experience. Aloha!

Ever since I found Aloha Smiles several years ago, I have never been to any other. Great customer service, the doctors are even better, not just as doctors but as people. Aloha Smiles always lets me choose what and how much, unlike my previous dental clinics which seemed to care more about getting paid than actually giving me what is good for me. From the receptionists to the assistants to the doctors, they are by far the best in Hawaii, and way better than the Mainland clinics I had been to.

Aloha Smiles is easily located by Ala Moana Center. I was immediately welcomed by the receptionist into a clean and modern office lobby. The restroom is on another floor. There was not much paperwork or any “data gathering” invasive feeling questions. Covid Precautions were evident and used throughout my visit. The dentists were gentle and thorough. He spoke clear English. I like that he took my own knowledge of how the dental problem feels and he did a thorough exam tapping and touching to define the problem. He offered an adequate pain relief prescription. He put me on antibiotics to prepare for my next visit. He clearly discussed the way my chewing would be affected by the intended plan. The X-ray machine is a small handheld device which did not cut my inner cheek like the “bite down on the plastic film” swinging arm machines at my last dentist did. His schedule allows me to return quickly and I’m going to be fine. I recommend this dental office.

Went in for a physical check-up to determine whether I could schedule for an extraction. After a very short x-ray and medical evaluation, I was able to have my teeth extracted on that day, and covered by insurance as well! Staff were extremely patient and helpful, and the care they provided from reception, to nurse, to doctor was absolutely A+! Amazing office! I normally don't do reviews however the care and service the staff as well as the dentist offer are beyond excellent! Dr. Esrason especially just became my favorite dentist. While waiting for my tooth to numb we talked about a plethora of things and he was just overall really caring and has alot of passion not only for his career but for his patients as well. I got only of info on the things I need to avoid eating as well as some cool facts about early dentists. The ladies up front were extremely kind and paitent as well as they worked with my insurance. Honestly I'm definitely coming back for more work from them!

Very pleasant experience and staff who know what they are doing. Michael at the front desk is nice and thorough with everything paperwork-related. Quick in and out visit. Had to take some wisdom teeth out, and Dr. Yoo was very clear in explaining what he was going to do. Throughout the process, he frequently asked if I was comfortable, which I was. Overall it was better than I expected. Not afraid at all having to go back and get the other side removed.

Excellent service from the reception to the end. The list of what my previous dentist DID NOT offer to what Aloha Smiles offers- 3D x-rays Cavity checker Dr. Ko was very thorough when explaining things that my previous dentist did not and literally checked every tooth. He explained to me the beginning of a cavity and what procedure was recommended to stop it from becoming a cavity or possible need for a crown or root canal. There are too many things that Dr. Ko did that my previous dentist did not do to list on this review and all the staff were really polite and courteous.

Haven't had my teeth cleaning in 6 years. Gotta say hanna is very skilled at cleaning a mess I left in my mouth. Been less than 24 hours since I left the office my mouth feels refreshed. Recommend coming here for cleaning. They have awesome pink glasses that let you really see how nasty the crud on your teeth is. I was pretty shocked I couldn't tell how much crud was actually left on my teeth when I normally looked in the mirror. Take your kids to hanna for cleanings.

Had an awesome initial visit with this office, I came in and was greeted with a smile from the receptionist, who checked me in. I was very impressed by the office, it had a gorgeous design clean and organized. I didn’t wait very long after finishing paperwork and checking in, when I was met by Mallory W. my dental hygienist. She did a wonderful job at making me feel comfortable, as I was nervous and I’m sure like others are self-conscious about someone looking around in their mouth. She listened to my concerns, and she explained what would happen the entire process, she educated do’s and dont’s, and what I could do better. She made sure to ask if I needed anything or if during the cleaning process if I was uncomfortable, or in pain at all, she was gentle and thorough. After her cleaning Dr. U (not sure how to spell his name) came in went over my xrays, did some charting and went over dental concerns. Overall he said my teeth were healthy and sent me on my way. I think they did a wonderful job as a team.

Aloha Smiles has a very clean, new space— they moved down the hall from their previous suite to a much bigger and more pleasant environment with ample seating in the waiting area. Hygienist, dentists, and front desk workers are friendly and helpful. Michael who works at the front desk is Korean-American and bilingual in both Korean and English.

I love the bi-annual checkup membership program, and they are really nice all the time, very friendly. I got two implants done here, and it went smoothly and safely and nicely.
