This was my 3yo first time at the dentist and even though we didn’t go back until 30 minutes past our appointment time, it was well worth the wait. The front staff is very sweet and welcoming. The hygienist was fantastic with my son, he felt so comfortable with her despite this was his first time. It really takes special people to worth with small children all day! The dentist was very helpful with his knowledge and recommendations for my sons teeth grinding. Very pleased with our first visit and highly recommend!

The staff is wonderful. Very helpful. My complaint is with the area out front. It is far too small and where are the fun things for kids to do. No video games nor activities. Fix this, make the kids your focal point. They need to want to come to the dentist.

Everytime we go they are always nice and always good with my boys. My youngest son had 3 teeth worked on and when he told them it was hurting they stopped and made sure he was comfortable before continuing. I would highly recommend South Ms smiles to any and everyone!! They are awesome and my boys love going to get there teeth cleaned and looked at. There all so wonderful with kids!!!!!

Have taken my boys here since we arrived on the Gulf Coast and they not once complained about an ache during or after treatment. They are outstanding, very attentive, and handle their patients very kind and professional. My little one is autistic and they are absolutely amazing with him. The treatment costs are realistic and fair and we are grateful for receiving a military discount. We will keep coming back.

I took my children here and received excellent service. The staff was friendly and worked well with my children. One of the ladies, Ashley, went above and beyond with my daughter. She was extremely friendly, talked her through the whole procedure, and made her first dental experience fun and comfortable. She was seriously not ready to leave! The waiting area is bright and colorful, and even my teen found entertainment while we were waiting. I also enjoyed that parents are welcome to go to the back with their kids. I had a great experience!

We had a wonderful experience here. My son has high anxiety regarding dentists, so they gave him a private room. Ariel, Jessica, and Dr. Ross helped to assuage his worries. In the end, my son even said he was excited for the next visit 😮 The facility was well kept and there were plenty of things for children to do to occupy their time while the dentist and hygienists did their jobs!

It was my 3 yr olds first time to the dentist and she was terrified. They went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. They showed her the tools let her feel them, even push buttons to squirt the water and blow air. Unfortunately, she still wouldn't cave into lying down for them lol. But she did verbally use her words to answer rather than just nod her head. They did her cleaning with her sitting up to accommodate her. I couldn't ask for anything better. Both my girls left there with huge smiles.

This was the place where my 4year old daughter was introduced to the full dentist experience. And she fell in love with it. No fear, just excitement. They explained every movement to her and made her feel extremely comfortable. You can tell patience is a prerequisite for all hands on employees. Amazing care and attention to detail. We have been back another time for a second cleaning and everything is still just as great as the first.

I called the clinic and a very nice receptionist answered and I explained to her that my daughter was Autistic and asked did they accept patients with autism and would they have the patience and she said yes and assured me that they would take good care of her well upon entering the clinic the following week that’s exactly what they did. I am very thankful for the friendly staff and the doctor and the patience they had with my daughter. My husband & I was very pleased with the service, again thanks!

Little back story: My 4 year old is scared of anything with a Doctor. Honestly, it's comical at times, and this time no different. She almost cried the whole way there, but the moment we walked in she had to ask me "mama is this the dentist". 😂 The moment I, as an adult, walked in I felt a calm come over me knowing that for once my daughter wouldn't leave the appointment crying. (This was our first time.) I knew that when I walked in my daughter was going to be cared for to the best of their ability. And I knew this just by looking at the waiting area. Why? Because they took the time to put all aged kids games out to distract from the fact they might be scared. By the time (15minutes maybe because PAPERWORK but you can even do that online as well!!!!🙌😁) they called her back she was over the moon excited to see what was in back. Now I was NOT expecting the experience that I walked into. It's an open room that is very clean. (My son's feet didn't turn black or even get dirty at all playing on the floor) The kids can watch other kids get their teeth cleaned so it's more calming knowing it will be okay, because hey that kids fine. If that didn't help when the DH laid my daughter down.. wait for it, THERE WAS A TV A FREAKING TV ON THE CEILING. She could watch TV while getting her teeth cleaned. They honestly thought of everything. The dentist I saw, I can not remember names, sorry... She was super sweet, informative, and I didn't get the 'im the dentist, you're a terrible mom for waiting 4 years to bring her in' feeling 😂😂. I honestly wish I could give 10 🌟 stars. They changed my mind on dentists completely. And when we got home my daughter said "This has been the BEST day ever. I wish I could go to the dentist everyday!!!". Thank you South Mississippi Smiles for making my daughter's first dentist one for her to remember and enjoy. We will definitely come back and recommend y'all to everyone we come across. This was my granddaughter’s first visit to a dentist the staff were very friendly the only thing I would suggest is when you have a toddler under two that they don’t go back before it’s time to be seen, and that the dentist takes a little bit more time getting the child acclimated with him because it was difficult having her cry the whole time he examined her teeth. She is usually pretty easy-going but for some reason she was afraid at the dentist office. Our appointment was at one and we went in at about 130 so I think it would’ve been nice if a few more minutes were taken to get her comfortable before he examined her teeth with her being afraid. All children are different some are more comfortable than others. I would recommend the office they were all friendly I would’ve just like to have it been a better experience for my granddaughter. Please keep in mind this is just a suggestion not a complaint whatsoever just something to keep in mind with young children. Thank you!

I would recommend south Mississippi smiles to any parent especially if they have more than one child. They were able to see both my girls at the same time and same date. And if you had a medical emergency or needed assistance ,they were able to squeeze you in and help any issues you have with your children's teeth Etc they are amazing team, they make you so comfortable and feel relaxed takes the anxiety away from going to the dentist.

I love how they have TVs set up on the ceilings to help ease the kids who are nervous. The doctors and nurses are friendly. They play popular movies for the kids. Although, South Mississippi Smiles has been HIGHLY recommended by a couple of friends, my kids and I were extremely skeptical about just how good this office was. Our first visit was so great, we thought, maybe everyone is just having a good day... maybe we were scheduled at the BEST time to have an appointment... this was NOT the case! After 3 appointments in this office, I have to say, THANK YOU!!! I love this place, I wish I would’ve made the switch years ago. They are professional and not at all condescending. I’ve spend hundreds of dollars on my daughters teeth at other facilities. They are fairly priced and kind. I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially military families.

Upon finding this location from transferring from another state, I found it to be a very pleasant which is what I was looking for, the staff is very professional and I like the idea of being able to attend to your smaller children when they are being treated.
