With the procedure I had to have done, my anxieties lessened about going to the Dentist. The staff worked together very well, kept me calm the entire time, and answered any concerns I had about my procedure. Dr. Kroeze went above and beyond. The receptionist and front office set the tone of any medical experience for me, and My Community Dental on 3 mile in Walker, sets a high bar. You are greeted by friendly people who welcome you with a smile and are happy to assist. Onto the hygienist, Brea was ours. She again was friendly, helpful and careful keeping her tools and everything she touched clean with frequent hand washing and glove changes. She was very patient and did a thorough examination. Dr. Hylen took the time to explain and answer questions. All in all, 5 stars for friendliness, cleanliness, and feeling like you are not just a number.

Incredible office, everyone working here is just amazing! My son had wisdom teeth pulled and I was in shock at just how patient centered they were. They were very patient and paid attention to every detail! Even apologized to him for the normal noises you hear when having any dental work done. I will never step foot anywhere else and would recommend this office to everyone especially those with a heightened fear of the visiting the dentist! ❤️

Takes a while to get an appointment. But is one of the only places that takes Medicare. . But make the appointment for a cleaning, once you’re in its worth it and once you’re a patient the following appointments aren’t too long of a wait. Great staff and good dentist.

I stopped in today in horrible pain and with my face grossly swollen just to see if I could make an appt for as soon as possible. I was seen immediately. The staff was kind and courteous, and I left with a plan-- a script for antibiotics-- and another appointment in 2 days. Far exceeded my expectations and I am so grateful.

Today I was very happy I called with a very sore tooth. They fit me in within the hour and took care of the problem and also I get the process going on a parcel on a space in my mouth that has bothered me for years. I had a different dentist for years and changed to here about a year ago and very greatful I did.

My seven year old daughter showed up to her "filling" appointment in tears; she was so nervous she was even hyperventilating at one point. But the lady at the front desk, the nurse, and the pediatric doctor were all so kind and patient with her that, at the end of the visit, my daughter was all smiles and was looking forward to her next visit so she can see the "nice dentist ladies" again. And this was after three EXTRACTIONS! Rather than the filling we thought was going to happen. And they allowed me (dad) to stay with her the whole time. Great place to take your kids.

Best Dentistry hands down! Staff is so friendly and helpful, I was a first time patient. They were able to fit me in their schedule the same day and did two extractions for me I am beyond grateful!! Being that I am pregnant and was in so much pain! They accept Medicaid/Molina healthcare which is also a bonus!

I was recently seen and needed a tooth extracted. The earliest date available was in later July. The staff knew I was in pain. The got me in 26 days early, pulled the tooth and then worked with my VA Dr to get me the correct meds. I would recommend them highly. Very friendly, professional and courteous. The staff is amazing! I even noticed the receptionist went above and beyond, to put a rush a crown order for the patient before me. Hygentist was very patient, and professional. Dr Kroeze very helpful and detailed oriented. Even cleaning/janitorial staff friendly and personable. Cindy amazing with making sure appointments are kept, even if moved an hour later, she is very good at communicating, and getting your needs met. A+ (I'm 51, best dentist experience I ever had).

Must come to My Community Dental, it has a wonderful feeling, and great customer service. The place has a beautiful atmosphere, 5 stars recommended, love Cindy and other staff members. The atmosphere is family oriented, and very inviting. Priority Health insurance covers teeth dental, and for any veteran’s and their spouse’s they have a grant that they can get it done free.

I found MCDC online when I was in need of urgent dental care. They got me in right away. From the moment I arrived the staff was attentive, friendly, and professional. They took into account my specific needs and were as accommodating as possible. I have not been to a dentist in far too long, so I was very anxious in general. But this was a wonderful experience! Love, love, love 💕 The dental office on 3 mile off of Alpine. I had HORRIBLE child hood experiences at the dentist which resulted in carrying that trauma through my teen years to adult hood and avoiding the dentist at all cost as soon as it became my own responsibility. All I knew was how uncaring, and awful dentist/hygienist were BUT that is not always true as this office has shown me since I’ve been going in 2019. This place has been absolutely AMAZING. Everyone is very caring, and considerate. They do everything they can to make you feel comfortable, and have all the knowledge you need to trust in them. They do all they can to get you in as soon as possible and allow you to call to check cancellations to get in sooner. I’ve had several teeth pulled, including wisdom, and cavities filled etc. & I still can’t believe how easy they made the process as a was & still am (due to the past experiences) so terrified to have anyone in my mouth. I will not go anywhere else, seriously. 😊

Amazing place! All the staff are wonderful! I've gone into the office a few times now. The Dr was very patient and listened to my feedback quite well. He answered all my questions exceptionally and with a very suitable level of detail. He cared about comfort and ensuring satisfaction over everything. This is not a generic office or one of those sub par treatments because it's what insurance covers. It's a great place.

To begin I want to say I have an extreme fear of going to the dentist and also that I can not recommend this place ENOUGH!!! the staff was beyond friendly, helpful, kind and patient with me, someone who has very high dentist anxiety. Beyond walking into an office where the women at the front desk were sooo nice and funny, my procedure was quick, practically painless and they made sure my comfort was number one through the entire thing. This office can do no wrong I swear. I can't thank the Dr. And the rest of the staff enough. My pain was so unbearable and they fixed it for me in a flash. I also want to note that i had my boyfriend bring me and we had to bring my 5 year old, they treated them both like family and made sure they were comfortable, informed and at ease with what was going on in the back. If you're scared of dentists, don't group this office with that fear. You can do it, I did, and I'm so happy I chose this office. Thank you so much, hopefully I won't have to be back for any major issues again... let's settle on a teeth cleaning 😉 ❤️

I first took my son to the Big Rapids MCDC. At the time, he was not yet 5 and had never been to the dentist. We made it through the initial consult and then a dentist was brought in to review. My son was understandably nervous about the appointment and was pretty uncooperative and beginning to cry. The dentist did not show him any compassion whatsoever and instead was gruff with him and shamed him for crying--a nervous child! Flash forward to the Walker location: We ended up here because they could get us into the pediatric dentist much sooner, and we'll never go anywhere else! My son needed some pretty extensive work done and the care they have treated him with is NIGHT AND DAY! He had two teeth extracted without so much as a fuss. As it turns out, if you take the time to connect with a scared child and explain what's going on, it's such a smoother process for everyone. Thanks Dr. Hannah and staff for making my son feel safe in your care!

I love MCDC, specifically the Walker location! I came in last May as a new patient with an emergency of 2 teeth being chipped in the front. They got me in as a new patient within a couple weeks and I’ve been for extremely comprehensive dental work since. They filled the teeth and started the process of getting crowns. The price I had to pay out of pocket was very reasonable considering insurance doesn’t cover cosmetic repairs. I’ve seen this office go through some turnover with their staff and they’ve always handled that like some rockstars. With how often I’ve seen the Dr. and all of the staff I’ve grown to love them and develop a close relationship with them! They care about my comfort, happiness, and smile the same as I do and I will always appreciate them for that, especially since I used to have a fear of the dentist! Special shout-out to my favorite receptionist Cindy for always being on top of scheduling and making me smile and laugh on my way in and out every single time!

The dentist assistant was very kind to my daughter the dentist was nice but at times I think the things she say to my 4yo were like she forgot shes 4 at 4 you have hard time still staying still and remembering you have do something. I called for a first time visit, and was told as a walk-in, I might have to wait awhile. I’m fine with that if it means patients are treated with care instead of an assembly line approach. The office was comfortable, the front desk ladies were friendly and obviously happy in their positions. (I eavesdropped a little on the office Christmas plans.) I found both the hygienist and dentist to be friendly and understanding when I explained my deep-rooted fears, yet efficient with procedures without making me feel rushed. I’m pleased with the diagnosis and recommended plan going forward. I will recommend this office to others.

Today was a much better experience the hygienist that did my teeth was respectful of my needs and concerns and just all around very nice and professional. I'm terrified of dentists since Aspen committed fraud with my account and messed up my mouth. Today was wonderful. They listened to my concerns and am able to help me with all of my problems. I've found my new dentist and am looking forward to coming back next week. Update * it's been a couple of years since I got my new dentures and I still love my dentist office 🏢 perfect fitting dentures, no need to realign this year. No sore spots or pinches. The staff is amazing, so friendly to me and welcoming!

For someone who hates going to the dentist I have appreciated this office so much! I have now had 8 fillings and 3 extractions (all since COVID) and I felt so completely cared for by their welcoming staff. They are very upfront, professional, knowledgeable and clean, and for an office who accepts Medicaid insurance I am extremely happy with how I’ve been treated and the ambience of the facility. I’ve brought my 4 and 5 year old here as well and they were awesome with my kids. I don’t review often but I’ll be dreading my dental care that much less knowing I’m in good hands, and for me that’s huge. Thank you My Community Dental Walker!

I've been seeing this dentist for the past few months. All the employees are great and very nice. I've had teeth pulled and didn't feel a thing. They were very informative in my treatment and answered all questions. Even answered questions I didn't come up with until I was home. During Covid a lot of things have changed and a lot of people are not the same. Being this is the first time visiting with this dentist I had a great experience. I’m the type of person that likes things explained especially if I’m not knowledge in that area. I have nothing but great things to say about each person I’ve encountered in my two visits in one day with MCDC! The staff was polite and friendly and very welcoming. That’s saying a lot these days but this place definitely has great customer service and I will continue to go there due to how I was treated. Would definitely recommend!

I transferred to this location because it is closer to where I’m living. They were able to get me on the schedule right away. The day of my appointment, I mixed up my appointment time on accident, called because I missed it and rescheduled. Not a big deal since it was my fault. While the appointment after me cancelled so they called to see if I still wanted to come in that day and I did. I was greeted, and brought back right away. The dental hygienist was very friendly and personable. She talked with me throughout my cleaning. The doctor who did the final check was great. He used terms, and explained things in way for you to understand what he was talking about. I would highly recommend this location because they are professional, welcoming, and put their patients first.

Everyone at this office is so nice! From the time you check in till the time you leave, everyone at the office makes you feel comfortable and at ease. If you have a problem they will do everything they can to get you in to see the dentist ASAP, (unlike one of their sister offices)! The doctor is amazing! By far the BEST dental office I have been to, the dentist and staff were so kind and understanding of my fear of having dental work done. They were patient with me while waiting for the gas to take affect and even offered me a blanket because I was a bit chilly. I will definitely go back and refer friends and family to see them. They also said they do a follow up call to see how you are doing after a procedure.

Positive experience with everyone in the office EXCEPT for Cindy who works at the front desk. She is very rude when talking you. On two different occasions, once in person and once over the phone. She could definitely use some empathy training!! Other than my experiences with her, my rating would be 5 stars for sure.

I absolutely love the (Walker)staff of MCDC. I have been to several doctor’s offices where once the find out you have some form of Medicaid they judge you and treat you badly. The staff here isn’t like that at all, they are all very friendly and professional. I can ask them if my insurance covers a service and not feel embarrassed for asking. I also just feel truly blessed that there’s a Dentist office so close to home that accepts my insurance. Thank you to all the wonderful ladies at Walker, you’re phenomenal. Stay safe! 💗
