I was welcomed upon arrival, After few minutes wait hygienist took me in, after X-ray which was due, she did routine exam, explained what she observed, cleaned/ polished Any teeth. Dr. Lewis questioned the hygienist what she had found , he checked the areas that were of concern plus rest of of the teeth. Gave me directions to follow. Everything was done as expected or better. I had always enjoyed Dr. Lewis’s knowledge, experience and professionalism and his staff performance. the teeth

When my previous dentist retired, I was quite worried about having to find another dentist. He was the only dentist I had been to and I had a lot of anxiety. A friend recommended Dr Lewis. I was very nervous at my first appt. My anxiety did not last long. Dr Lewis was wonderful and he has an amazing staff! Dr Lewis took the time to educate me about my teeth and set up a good plan for the care of my teeth. Answers any and every question we have, and explains the different procedures/concepts very well. Although I am not completely familiar with all the new dental procedures and tools, Dr. Lewis’s office seems to keep up with new technology and practices to best care for their patients, such as less abrasive methods for cleaning. What a great place to get your teeth taken care of. Friendly and well organized staff, and Dr. Lewis is very personable and friendly. Plus, I've never had such high tech dentistry in a setting that is so comfortable. Example, he uses a technique to numb the area and you don't even feel it. I'm paranoid about needles but this technique takes the stress out. The hygienist was expert and the whole process went very smooth. Dr. Lewis designed the entire office building and you'll see and feel the difference right away. If you're shopping for a new Dentist, you have to check them out.

Consistently great care, year after year. I think the true character of a dentist is revealed in emergency or after hours calls. I broke a tooth and damaged my permanent bridge on the 4th of July. Not only did Dr. Lewis answer my call, he was cheerful and professional, and gave me great advice. The office was closed the following week and he even offered to meet me in the office if I was in pain or needed to be treated sooner. When I did call to get an appointment, the staff got me in right away and were so kind. Dr. Lewis and his staff go above and beyond every day. 10/18/21 Another appt and a reminder that this dental practice truly is the best in Grand Rapids. I recommend Dr. Lewis and his staff whenever I can. So thankful for people who care, with kind hearts and professional attitudes.

Her no nonsense approach to teeth cleaning should be the industry standard. Dr. Lewis is both professional and friendly... he has perfected the art of telling me to do a better job of brushing my teeth, without making me feel too bad. For that reason alone I come back every 6 months... in hopes to not disappoint again.
