Some of the best dental staff I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. I just moved from out of state and had a broken tooth I needed taken care of ASAP. I was able to get in same day and even though they were booked up for extractions they were willing to find a way to work me in. After dealing with Robinson dental and having such horrible service outrageous prices Aspen dental huge total difference unbelievably friendly works with your insurance better than I've ever seen and they actually take the time to talk to you and explain to you and let you know what's going on and what needs to be done and it's the first time in 30 years I have never been belittled at a dentist I know I don't have great dental hygiene I could always do better but instead of telling me that they showed me ways to get better little ways to make it easier I'm a truck driver so it's a little more difficult these guys were awesome I wish I could rate them more than a 5 out of five

i usually hate the dentist. but i went here for the first time & everyone in there was so nice! they didn’t make me nervous & i had a great experience for once at the dentist!!! they seemed super busy when i walked in but still were very kind and welcoming. they have reasonable prices as well :) i would highly recommend going here for dental work

Wow! I am amazed. Every time I have been to the dentist it was very unpleasant. Going to Aspen Dental I expected the same experience especially since I had an infected tooth which had to be extracted along with two wisdom teeth. I also had a deep cleaning which in the past was not pleasant. Back to Wow! I am amazed. These guys are the best. Everyone is so caring and polite. They are a pleasure to be around especially with the bad rep dentist office's receive. Now lets talk about the most important thing to me, The pain. NO PAIN. NO EXAGGERATION. I had three separate appointments. NO PAIN. NO EXAGGERATION. I'm telling everyone about them. Two of my family members went to them before me. They are just as pleasantly surprised as I was. They also agree that it was the best experience at a dental office they ever received. If you hate going to the dentist and always had a bad experience you really should give them a try. Years ago I had a horribly traumatic experience at a dentist office in another state. This left me feeling apprehensive about going to the dentist office for years. Sadly I believed that my experience was probably normal and did not wish to ever go see a dentist again... until this year. I wanted to try Aspen Dental in Grand Rapids because I had heard good things about the staff and read their great reviews. During my first visit I was VERY nervous, and even cried, out of fear of being treated like I was in the past with the previous dentist office. Thankfully I couldn't have been more wrong! From the moment I entered the Aspen Dental facility I was treated with care and respect. The office was clean and everyone was trying to be as cautious as possible due to the pandemic sanitation guidelines. From the dental receptionist, dentist, dental hygienist to the financial advisor everyone was SUPER kind and compassionate. They truly exceeded my expectations and I am so grateful to them for all of their hard work to make my appointments as painless and as seamless as possible. BIG thank you to Tanisha, the hygienist, that helped me get my dental hygiene back on track! She was gentle, effective and actually cared about my comfort! GREAT EXPERIENCE! 💗

Other than two scheduling conflicts, I was very pleased with the services at Aspen Dental Grand Rapids. I had 2 teeth extracted with virtually no pain during and post procedure. I was in a serious accident at work and all my front teeth where knocked out and the dental team did everything they could to make me dentures that look like my real teeth. They used pictures of my teeth and used computer imaging. I very happy I don't have to look like someone else

They are honest about treatment plans and they had referred me to a root canal specialist that was very helpful. I am still working on getting treatment at this location and am expecting great things! I enjoyed your dentist because the dentist I've been seeing for 25 years just kept me going back at 3000.00 a visit and just more coming. Your dentist knew right away what I was concerned about and noticed that I had spent a lot of time in a dentist chair.. Probably 20,000. Later. It was starting all over again. I have had a perfect experience from the first phone call to your office. Every one there was so personable. I could tell all your employees are happy and proud to work there. Your office manager was so sweet and professional. I was a store manager, running the largest rent to own store in Michigan for 20 years. I know how to spot a great manager and you are definitely lucky enough to have a super manager. She recognizes a happy employee is a good and productive employee. I was at your office past closing time and she did not rush us at all but instead was very patient and helpful answering all our questions. I will be calling tomorrow to set up my appt to get false teeth. Hope this review was helpful.

I went here on the 23 of June..Everyone was friendly, kind and very attentive to my needs. At the end of my appointment I was told I would speak to someone who would explain to me my options..i waited..the lady was very backed up..i waited..i finally asked if i could leave get something to eat and come back..the lady i was supposed to talk to come out and apologized and said she could call me beings i live an hour away. I have been waiting 8 days ..calling and have spoken to someone 4 times. Promising me a return phone call the next day..still nothing!! Please call me so we can finish my 1st apt..i want to schedule what is next..feeling discouraged

My reason for going in was for a set of dentures, a first set. I was treated very well by the doctor and staff. They seemed concerned about all of my health issues and requested a prior approval from my primary care physician and also my GI specialist because of the extractions. The office came up with a game plan for my treatment and gave me a quote. They worked out a payment plan that worked for both of us. I would highly recommend this office for all your dental treatment.

The help set up payment plans the whole nine yards easiest dental process ever and if you don't any something all you do is say and they won't try to force it.

My Father who is a visitor from India had to repair his denture and his insurance did not cover this. I went to Aspen and they really helped a lot with a free consultation, free Xrays and moreover they fixed the denture for lowest possible rate for that work. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is a nice place and very comfortable. They are great for people that have anxiety at the dentist. They are good for regular dental care (me) as well as denture care (my husband) so we don't need to have different dentists. The only thing I don't like is when I decline the fluoride rinse, they turn around and try to sell me on a different product that also contains fluoride.... My insurance doesn't cover it. I have city water, I brush my teeth with fluoride toothpaste, so I get plenty of fluoride from other sources.

Got my wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Yosif recently. The surgery was fast and smooth. But I'm surprised that I was not given any instruction on post-surgery care. I have heard that other places gave their patients a syringe and daily cleaning procedures.

My first experience here was free as I'm uninsured and needed a dental check-up. I brush my teeth regularly, don't drink pop, have a healthy diet etc. etc. So, I figured I just needed the check-in to schedule a cleaning. I was told over the phone the appointment would be an hour and the cleaning would be around $88. The day of the appointment I received a call asking if I could come in earlier than 8:45 am as the dentist was available. So I rushed out to 28th street and sure enough waited in the waiting room until 9:30. Then, my appointment lasted all of 15 minutes. The dentist called me Amy the entire time (which he apologized for) and also never introduced himself. The cleaning that I scheduled for next week is $130. The receptionist said my address to me across the waiting room (for all to hear) which seemed inappropriate. All in all, you get what you pay for. I don't have dental insurance and all I needed was a cleaning and to know my teeth are okay. That's what I got. You're not going to get friendly conversation and a relationship with the people there.

A really painful tooth kept me up two nights in a row. Decided I had to get it pulled off the very same day or I would go crazy. I looked up all dentists around my area on Google maps and was determined to visit each one till I found one who would do it the same day without an appointment. Since Aspen was nearest, I figured I would start there. Well, I didn't even have to go anywhere else. The very friendly receptionist (Jesse I think) was very understanding and though I had to wait about 2hrs, they did the job, and at a surprisingly reasonable fee. Oh the relief!! Love Aspen

The courtesy and professionalism were excellent. The cost, however, of saving one tooth--ballpark $3400 for a root canal and crown--is so far out of the possible for me I could cry. I need that tooth, but cannot afford to keep it. Since I was born in 1941 dentistry has become nearly totally unavailable to those of low income.

Joy was sharing with me the different options available to me, considering I have no insurance, she was very friendly and went on to give me lots of information on financing any future appointments and treatment. She also schedualed me an appointment for the very next day!!!!!! Considering I had a problem tooth that was giving me pain(minor) at that time. I showed for my appointment the next day, and Dr.J. Dentist is super nice, as is the oral hygienist. Sometimes their contact appointment reminders and confirmations are annoying but I would rather have too many than none at all. They have tvs attached to the dental chairs to watch while you are waiting for your dentist which is very nice and makes the wait time go by fast.

Wonderful quick and timely experience I had a very painful toothache which I was told by the Dr Myron(A talented and professional Brother) was a cavity and that same day he and the wonderful ladies that helped pulled it out and gave me a world of relief along with checking for other issues and prescribing antibiotics they all were very professional prompt and I happen to go there from word of mouth the night before I had an appointment that same day another dentistry that would've been more expensive but Aspen was better and more affordable

Very efficient care of my reason for calling. However, no dentist evaluated all my teeth, and when I had my cleaning, the hygenist told me to make sure I mentioned two other teeth to the dentist when I saw him. She stressed it two or three times, indicating a lack of communication, even electronic, in the office. While I was with the dentist in my next appointment, I didn't have the chance to bring up the two concerns the hygenist wanted me to; beyond an introduction, there was no time for me to really speak before my mouth was numbed. When I mentioned another problem with a tooth very close to where they were working, they merely acknowledged that they heard what I said. I would have preferred that they look at the tooth I mentioned and at least suggested what could be done. So good care on what they said they would do, but no relationship-building in terms of really taking care of me.

My lower denture broke so I went in to see what could be done about it. They looked it over, got out my records and told me not to worry they would repair the denture at no cost to me. I have been, for the most part, pleased with my care at this office. However, my last visit on July 2 was not a pleasant one. A gentleman had obviously been waiting awhile for his turn. Finally, after becoming frustrated when others were being called before him, he went up to the desk and asked about his appt! The receptionist was rude to him, telling him because he was 15 min late, he had to wait. He was simply not being treated kindly, and this in front of a whole waiting room full of people. However, I waited an hour for my appointment and was on time. Never an apology was given to me by the staff, dentist, etc! I think we will be switching dental coverage at our open enrollment!

I decided to switch dentists and give Aspen Dental a chance.after seeing the online website and pricing. I made an appointment. They were very professional from the moment I walked in. They took xrays and then sat me down in a very clean dental chair and made me feel very comfortable. The dentist then explained to me what was going on in my mouth and suggested the course I should take. I then was greeted by Michelle the office manager. I can't say enough about Michelle. She made me feel right at home and discussed my treatment plan. She then went out of her way to help me find a discount plan and a payment plan. I was very impressed with the whole staff but mostly for Michelle being so helpful and caring! Did I mention it was all free for my first visit. My wife thought it was to good to be true. The hygienist was thorough and painless. The dentist did not clearly communicate his findings to me. He said everything looked good, left the room and then I was informed of 2 small cavities. It would be nice if the dentist had told me what he had found. I don't feel confident with the dentists at Aspen, the turnover has been tremendous over the past 3 years. I don't feel like I have any relationship, trust or consistency at this practice. On the other hand, it is the only office in town that completely accepts my insurance coverage.

So....I have extensive dental issues and was recommended to go to Aspen Dental. Today I had two teeth extracted by Dr. Tinker. I kept waiting and waiting, and finally she said okay. I'm like...."when are you going to pull the teeth?" She said..."Oh, honey...we did that a while a go. Just cleaning up everything now." I said.."What?"...I didn't even know the teeth were gone. I am very very pleased with Aspen Dental and Dr. Tinker. I can't recommend them enough. Everyone at Aspen Dental were AMAZING!! Very knowledgeable, kind and caring! I had to take my 17 year old step son in due to his mothers neglect on getting him to the dentist during his child hood. We didn't have any insurance for him, they honored the coupon for him for a free dental exam even tho he was not over the age of 21. We then realized how bad my step sons teeth were! He had 11 baby teeth still in his mouth that needed to be extracted asap! Because we didn't have insurance and had to pay cash they gave us an amazing discount and sat there with us and helped us decide where to start with his teeth. We ended up scheduling him and appointment for extraction of 6 of his baby teeth on the bottom. Doctor T. Was amazing! And FAST!! Very nice and professional! And the office personal were just as amazing! We will be going back to Aspen Dental to finish up all of the dental work my step son needs! When we went to see Michelle about what options we had for dentures and what was available and what price ranges there were. This place is so very different from what it was when it first opened. The new dental staff is first class and the dentists are phenomenal. (The old practice was nothing short of a joke). My wife loves the new smile that "Dr. Bob" gave her with premium crowns and my experience with every staff member from the front desk, the dental assistant, the hygentist Dave, and my experience with the owner/dentist dr Alklani was so very impressive. He actually showed the most integrity I have seen in a dental office ever. He actually told me I didn't need to spend the money I wanted on specific crowns that had been simply inlayed with fillings not to mention a very humble nature for being an "owner". Eric was very helpful to the level of asking Dave to stay late to accommodate my busy schedule...long story short this is a real Dental practice. In the end I would say that $30,000 in dental work will cost us approximately half and the results were first class. A++, plus they are donating their time to help a myriad of veterans with free dental work. Impresssd and that's hard for a OCD guy like me with a huge dental phobia.

I was extremely please with the care I received. I was able to schedule an appt pretty mush immediately abs get in. They got me in on time. They were thorough with my new patient appt. I had been putting off getting my crown done and they fit me in the same day to do it. All the staff was kind and made me feel like some sort of VIP. Highly recommend. I was very frightened as I have a low pain tolerance. They handled me very well. Then my mouth was so sore that I asked myself, "Oh why did I do this to myself?" I answered, "So I won't have toothaches twice a year anymore. Then I canceld my appointment for adjusting the plates because I was so sore. They were very understaanding and told me to call them when my mouth felt better. I did and they treated me very well, considering I was being such a baby. Was looking at my teeth and realized I have a cavity, called Aspen this morning and they had a 7:45 appointment available, wow was I lucky, I arrived and was received by very polite lady, then Yen Yen took me to X-ray and was very kind and thoughtful, the dentist looked and confirmed the cavity, then did a filling, he was great did not feel the shot. Then they shifted me to David, he was very good also , did a great job. Yen Yen was especially great her personality is large and lovely.

I was examined by a doctor who supervised my upper denture final alignment and left with no further examination of the product. When I returned for the fitting of the final product, the assistant did all the final work and adjustments, consulting with the doctor for the final adjustments. This assembly line approach to fitting my denture for "years" of service gave me a hollow feeling about how your company treats its customers. I doubt I will use you for any future service.

Aspen Dental staff did a nice job of cleaning my teeth and were very professional. You do need to ask before going in for the cleaning what the charges will be. I was told my bill would be about $100 because they wanted to do xrays (I just had them in Dec and insurance would not cover it) and fluoride which I do not need, My bill was less then $10 when I rejected these two procedures. My wife (on our first visit) got the fluoride "automatically" without them asking. We know better now.

From the time I signed in to the moment I left all of the staff were very polite and extremely professional. Keep in mind these people were working on a Saturday providing services to veterans free of charge. Dr. Tawfiq Alkilani & his assistant preformed two extractions that had been very painful. Two days later and I couldn't be better. Traverse City is fortunate to have him and all his employees there. I will be calling his Gaylord office for all future dental work. I'm confident he has the same high standards at that office. I Highly recommend them.
