Dr. Winters and his dental assistant, Liz, were amazing! I ended up needing a root canal and dentist explained everything in detail before procedure and as each phase occurred he told what he was doing!! He knew I was nervous and asked throughout the procedure is I was doing ok!! I felt so comfortable and relaxed!!! I highly recommend Dr. Winter practice!!( Liz even held my hand for a few minutes and I experienced no pain during or after my root canal!!) I love my dentist and his assistant!!❤️❤️❤️

I truly appreciate the promptness of getting into see Dr.Winters after a partial crack in my bridge on the last day of my out of town vacation. I called that morning and was able to get into the dental office the next morning after arriving back in town. I was taken care of the moment I got to the office - warm greeting from receptionist (Grace), to a welcome from a familiar staff member. Dr. Winters did a good job of explaining the process of fixing my bridge. He was also a bit entertaining - that did help relax my nerves. Overall, Iowa Dental Arts is my choice for any dental work.

The staff are very pleasant. I like Dr. Winter his experience is very noticeable. The only thing that was disconcerting to me is in this day and age of COVID the doctor wears his face mask under his nose and you can feel his breath on you. This is by far the best dental practice I have ever visited. I have been a patient there for about 10 years. From day one I was impressed not only with Dr. Winters...he is amazing..., but his staff as well. Everyone is very knowledgeable and professional while also being friendly and caring. I had been traumatized by some truly horrible experiences with a previous dentist. Dr. Winters & his assistant Liz assured me I would not have the same experience with them, and they kept their word. I no longer fear my dental visits. They have done fillings, root canals, and extractions with what I consider to be very minimum discomfort. (Because I stopped going to the dentist due to fear, I had a lot of issues with my teeth by the time I found Dr. Winters.) Now I have an upper bridge and a lower partial and they look amazing. I wish Dr. Winters would have started practicing in Iowa much earlier. Lol. If you are looking for a dental provider you don't need to look any further.

Dr. Winters is amazing, his staff too!!! I've been dealing with chronic headaches/jaw/molar pain for almost 2 years with zero resolution from countless specialists, and my regular dentist just dismissed the pain (I changed dental offices since). I can FINALLY say I'm pain free, with the help of Dr. Winters. He was so thorough, supportive and sympathetic to the pain I had been dealing with for so long. I cannot thank him and his staff enough. Being pain free finally is life changing!!!

I had two cavities that were filled. It was extremely quick and painless. I was lucky enough to use the water laser they have, which means no shot was needed to numb my gums. Super thankful for that because I'm not a big fan of needles. It was out of pocket unfortunately as I have no dental insurance, but id recommended them for the good work they do.

As a caregiver to my younger brother I found myself needing an expert in dental plates when John, said brother, dropped his lower plate and it broke in half. My husband, Mike had just gone to Dr. Winter as a new patient just a couple of months prior to this so we were already great fans of Dr. Winter and his whole staff. I called at noon on Friday and they had an appointment for us on Monday morning at 8:30 and dentures repaired and back to use Tuesday, today. We received the exact same quality service for my husband. The whole staff go the extra mile. My husband's teeth look amazing 👏.

They have a great atmosphere. Everyone greets you and is so pleasant you forget you're at the dentist. The equipment is so up to date you don't shuffle from room to room for xrays, cleaning, etc. The dentists are cheerful, imaginative in knowing how to get you the best smile at the best price, and very skilled. The best and brightest dental experience I've ever had.

I'm one of those that feels very nervous in a dental environment and hadn't been to a dentist for some time so very anxious during my first time visit here. -All the ladies at the main desk were very pleasant and helpful with the paperwork. -The dental hygienist assigned to me, Hailey (sp?) has a wonderful "bed side" manner and helped calm my obvious nerves.and relax a bit more. -Dr Winter was both friendly and professional, taking time to show me what needs to be done and answering my questions.

The dentist office is filled with welcoming environment. They are very upfront about the cost, dental insurance, what you need to pay out of pocket and what is cover. They have the water jet equipment is really state-of-the-art tech, touchless to your tooth, minimal pain, but you may smell your cavity as it burns and clean your teeth groove. Just wish they have more hours, especially Friday to I get appointment easier!

I was warmly welcomed and quickly had xrays and cleaning completed in a timely manner. Then the dentist checked my teeth and recommended something I could do each day using my sensitive toothpaste each evening at home to relieve some mild sensitive spots and then I was finished in 50 minutes!

I went to see Dr Winters about my TMJ pain. He gave me a list of things to do to make it better which I am doing. Follow in a week with possible byte block that is 780.00!! Not sure about that but Dr Winters was very pleasant and willing to help. Nice reception lady and staff.
