Even though it's probably counter-intuitive to "like" going to the dentist, Gateway makes the experience easy for me. I migrated to Gateway after my previous dentist retired. The level of care here is well above what I experienced with my original dentist. From an ordinary cleaning and exam, to extensive planing and scaling, to putting a cap on a broken tooth, I have had a good experience overall. My hygienist, Kati, is very professional, personable and calming. The dentists are great and very easy to talk to. All of the staff members I've talked to are friendly and professional too. I've recommended this office to others and would not hesitate to do so here.

I’ve been going to Gateway Dental most of my life. Truly Dr. Burds and the staff is the best. Is it weird that I love going to the dentist? I hate metal tools and the sound of things on my teeth, but headphones, sunglasses to dim the light and a little gas and I feel like I’m at a spa! Everyone who’ve I’ve referred has said the same. Best dentist ever!

Wasn't happy with last cleaning and Xray. After I paid for the Panorama Xray they did not answer my questions about what they saw. Just said should pull 5 teeth?? I needed to know if any infection before they sent me to another dentist? I need to know due to upcoming hip surgery. But 👎 👎 New dentist appointment will take another Xray $$$ and tell me more details.

Dr. McCaulley is a phenomenal dentist. I don’t like the dentist and have never found one that I trust until I started going to Gateway. Every hygienist I’ve had the past 4 years has been friendly, kind, and gentle on my gums while giving me a deep clean. This is the holy grail of practices. I’ve been coming here for 6 years and I’ve never been happier with my service. My hygienist is personable, keeps up with my life, and is always cheering on my life endeavors. Dr Burds is the most genuine human being and takes special care of needs that most dentists would brush off or not be willing to work with. As someone who has had a traumatic experience previously, he has made me love coming to the dentist and feel at home! It's always a challenge to find a good dentist. Getaway Dental Group came highly recommended from a couple of people I know and for extremely good reasons. I've been going to them for a while now and they are the once I go to for my regular 6 months cleanings and also went there to repair a chipped tooth that I had been living with quietly for years before I started going to them. It's been taken care of perfectly and on time. I have run into no issues at all with this clinic and my insurance coverage, and I was particularly grateful for the wonderful job my doctor does. I found the doctors here to be very knowledgeable, timely, and professional. They take really good care of their patients. Every time I go there I notice that they pay special attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of service and work on your teeth. The staff and all of the hygienists are extremely friendly and helpful. Their staff goes out of their way to make your experience a great one. If you are looking for a great dentist just the way I was before heard of them than don't look any further... definitely give them a try.

My experience with this business started in the 80s with Dr. Kingsfield at their old location in front of the hospital, so it's safe to say I am happy with not only my dental care but the general atmosphere. There have been multiple cases where this office has gone above and beyond for me when they most certainly didn't have to; in an effort to keep this short-ish, I won't start itemizing here. Just kno note that I've never had anything but "5 star" type service. Yesterday, however, added yet another new dimension to my appreciation for the people of which this group is comprised, so I'll focus on this specific example as to what kind of service makes Gateway stand out and above the rest. Unforeseen circumstances yesterday, left me having to change my appointment time (lucky for me, they'd had a cancellation for a different time slot)...despite my lack of anyone to care for my newborn. I had called with the expectation of having to cancel my appt last minute, but they graciously told me I could come in anyway if I preferred, and could bring Babe with me. As luck with a newborn would have it, Baby woke up just as we were getting started. The hygienist allowed me to stop and feed her...which helped some, but only had a moderate effect on baby's demeanor. Nobody got frustrated, upset, or annoyed with us in the least. While I am certainly NOT here to promote or even suggest the concept of bringing infants to dentist appointments and I fully understand none of this could, should nor would ever be expected of the staff, I am grateful to have been allowed an exception. With 5 kids, making and keeping appointments for myself can be hard. ***I want to give an extra shout out to Karen for coming in and taking the baby to console her while my hygienist completed my appointment.*** Karen, you have jumped through hoops in the past, in an effort to accommodate me in various ways, but I gotta say, comforting my baby so I could keep my desperately needed appointment unequivocally tops them all. You guys are awesome and I appreciate you. 5/5 recommend this group of wonderful people to ANYONE on the hunt for a fantastic dentist office. You will not be disappointed.

I came to Gateway two years ago when Dr. Dahlberg retired. I have had expert dental care with Dr. McCaulley, and now I am getting an apnea device through the care of Dr. Burds. I've had hygiene visits with Krystal, and more recently received treatment from Martha when I needed a cap. Mallorie has assisted with the apnea device design, and she knew how to keep me from gagging. Yep, get an instrument in the right place in the back of the mouth and I will gag, but Mallorie knew how to prevent it. I've also interacted with Megan, Kristen, and Karen regarding appointments and insurance. Across the board, everyone I've met here is top notch, and I have been treated with expert care and respect. I have no doubt that the team members I have not met are every bit as good as the ones I have met. If you need a dental practice, come to Gateway! No, they are not paying me for this review.
