All of the doctors in Campbell Dentistry are extremely professional and compassionate. The hygienist is wonderful also. I am a dental professional myself and can assure you that the dentistry provided by these people is top notch. People have no idea of the quality of dental care they receive until they start having problems and then it leads to unnecessary pain and expense due to poor dental treatment. I highly recommend Campbell Dentistry.

I had my first appointment at Campbell Dentistry today. I was already nervous because it had been a couple years since I'd been to a dentistry. I was blown away by the service and compassion that Dr. Campbell and his staff exhibited. My dental hygienist Donna was extremely careful and explained to me what she was doing every step of the way. She took the time to educated me on some facts that as a grown woman, I'd had no idea about and was very helpful. I'm actually excited to go back for my next cleaning in 6 months!

After 7 years of not seeing a dentist, decided to get back into the routine. Heard great & positive experiences about this office; dentist(s) and staff. Today they showed me what a well-rounded office should flow like! Once entering the front office staff was kind and friendly. Shortly after arriving the hygienist (Natalie) called my name and introduced herself. Once seated into clinic area, home education was informed and scaling/polishing was done in a nice timely manner. Dr. John introduced himself as well before exam, and chatted for a bit! Think I have found my new dentist!!! Thank you again for a great experience today! Will definitely recommend to others!

Does anyone really 'like' going to the dentist? Well, I can tell you, even if you don't like it, you'll enjoy your visits here! My previous dentist had retired, so I was looking for somewhere new. I tried a big-chain competitor before coming to Dr. Campbell - BIG mistake! I made an appointment here very quickly and easily with the front desk staff; they are very efficient and polite. Dr. Campbell came out and introduced himself and told me he was glad I was there. What a nice welcome! Rachel gave me my cleaning and was very pleasant and helpful. She walked me through everything she was going to do and made sure I understood the procedure. Dr. Campbell came in and went over some options with me and made sure I understood everything (seeing a pattern here?). He was very easy to talk to and you can tell he definitely cares about the well-being of his patients. I was very impressed with my experience and walked out feeling good about my visit. I will definitely be coming back!!

Both Dr. Campbell's and their staff are amazing! I have never been so happy to have made the switch to this office a few years ago. Everyone is friendly and welcoming! They all make you feel at ease no matter what you are being seen for. Personally, I have a difficult time taking x-rays but they a very understanding and patient. Before the cleaning even started on my first visit, Dr Campbell & Dr John both came in and introduced themselves and welcomed me to the office! My hygienist, Peggy Sue, made me feel so comfortable and I honestly enjoyed every minute of it. I have also had restorative work done with Dr. Campbell, him and his assistant make it so quick and painless and they’re very easy to talk to. I have always had an enjoyable experience. :)

Okay so i HATE the dentist, let’s start there. i was so anxious going in that i was sweating bullets. but dr campbell came in and for the first 15 minutes he was in the room, all we did was chat abt me and my life. he got to know me and he actually seemed interested in what i had to say 🖤 he walked me through the entire process, was very patient and he cheered me on the entire time he was pulling my tooth. very good bedside manner, very kind office, lots of laughter and warmth. 20/10 would recommend to a friend, love this office.

Went to Dr. Campbell's office for the 1st time today and I am so glad I did! I found my new dentist!! He was absolutely amazing!! He talked to me like he's known me for years, Like we were old friends. He is so friendly and seems to be a genuinely good person. This is the best dentist office I have ever visited...ever. Dr. Campbell is excellent at putting his patents at ease and causes little to no pain. My hygienist, Rachel, is awesome and is great at her job. When it comes to his son, the other Dr. Campbell, the fruit does not fall far from the tree. While he may be newer, he is just as good a putting patients at ease. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially those who are afraid of the dentist. There is no fear going here.

Staff is always so friendly and happy to see you. I have been going there for years and now my kids do to and they are so patient with them! They always work on what needs to be done and do it correctly in a timely manner. I live 35 min away and have multiple dentist in between that I could go see but Dr Campbell and his staff make it worth the trip

This is the first Dentist I have loved going to. He has a great sense of humor and makes the visit worth going. The staff is always great. I moved about an hour away. I thought about finding a dentist locally but decided he's worth the trip. Our family plans on remaining his patients as long as he's practicing.

They were quick to get me in and address my needs (4 fillings, root canal and crown) while being clear about costs from the get go. A coworker referred me to this office and I am so glad that she did! I have always been terrified of going to the dentist. The first time that I came here, I was instantly impressed by the warmth of the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, including the doctors. I felt completely at ease with the hygenist, as well as both docs. By the way, you can't go wrong with either of the doctors. They are *both* great! What else impressed me about this office is that the doctors have a more conservative approach to dentistry than others I've been to--they aren't going to recommend unnecessary treatment just to make a buck. I have now been here twice, which truly says a lot for me. My husband has also been here, and had a great experience as well. I highly recommend this place! My hubby and I are so glad to have finally found a dentist's office that we actually enjoy going to.

My family has trusted the professionals at Dr. John Campbell's dental office for nearly 30 years. They are efficient, friendly, knowledgeable. Dr. John also takes a mostly conservative approach and is conscious of the costs of service. He has referred us to other specialists as necessary, but he doesn't "over-treat". He and his staff work around our schedules and know who we are when we call and when we come in for an appointment. I've never had a bad experience and can't imagine going to anyone else.

I started going to Dr. Campbell after a terrible visit to one of the big box chain dentistry places. Where they treated me like a dollar sign and just want to take as much money as they could get from me. So I looked around again and found Dr. Campbell's office and they are the BEST!!!!!!!!! If I could give 10 stars or more I would! I have been deathly afraid of dentists since I was 6 years old. Fast forward to being 58 and having only gone to the dentist maybe a handful of times in my life, I finally listened to my husband who has been saying you should go. Campbell Dentristy is great! So I sent a message to which Dr John answered back. I made a consultation. I was so afraid my neglience was going to cause a huge financial burden but I want to KEEP my teeth. At the consultation I was surprised! My teeth were not that bad and just needed a deep cleaning. I made my two appointments and I tell you what I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist. I've been going to Dr. Campbell since I was a kid. My entire family goes to him and we all love him. He is very personal and considers your financial situation when recommending treatment plans. Dr. Campbell (the younger one, Dr. Campbell's son) did a great job on my filling today. My previous dentist had left some filling material below the gum line, so it needed redone. I usually have difficulty getting numb, but they got me numb the first time and I barely felt anything. Despite my mouth causing part of the filling to keep falling out Dr. Campbell stayed on it and got it done. He even took an x ray to make sure it was better than the previous filling. My dental hygienist was also awesome at my last visit. Thanks for being so awesome!

Dr Campbell is an outstanding person and Dentist, I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to share his family atmosphere in his practice. I have been with Dr Campbell for about 2yrs, I moved from Omaha to Ankeny, I didn't know who to turn to for my dental work, I asked my Dr in Omaha, he referred me to Dr Campbell. Unfortunately I had a need for a Dentist, I called the office and was able to get the help I needed immediately that same day, I didn't know what to expect, when I walked in I was greeted with and smile and proceeded to explain my problem, then all of a sudden Dr E Campbell and Dr L Campbell, opened the door and introduce themselves and said come in and started working their expertise. I was made comfortable and treated like family. I wouldn't change anything today, when you meet these two young men and their staff you will experience the family atmosphatm. Thank you.

I had a very painful tooth, couldn't hardly breath, eat smile with out pain. E-mailed on a Sunday and a dentist to called me. They got me in Monday morning first thing. He said the tooth was split and needed to be removed. 30 minutes later it was out. This was the first time I've seen a dentist in 40 years, they scare me, not this dentist office. Thank you very much Dr Campbell and I thank your staff for taking good care of me today. I came into your office to have a second opinion on my tooth, I was told by another dentist I would need a crown put on. Well Dr Campbell saved me from having to pay $1,680.00 out of pocket which is lot of money when your a single parent. Realized I had a cavity on one of my teath late one night and needed to get it filled. Called just after they opened the next day and got me in that day in about an hour. When I got there everyone was very nice, friendly, and helpful. Got me in and out very fast and my tooth looks like it never had a cavity with absolutely no pain or discomfort other than a num side of my mouth. Even got me in for a tooth cleaning I needed and took my state dental insurance. Would happily go back and recommend to others.

I might be a bit biased since I have been going there since I was a child but even now that I'm an adult I would still prefer to drive almost 40 minutes to go there. The place is always clean and the employees are always talkative and good at their jobs. I've had my teeth worked on plenty of times and I never had an issue. As long as they are open and I live in Iowa I will continue to go there.

Hands down best dental practice in the Des Moines metro! Witnessed the only one star review today by GW and it most definitely was not the case. The gentleman could not be pleased from the second he walked in the door. His demeanor in the reception area and parking lot demonstrated he was clearly anything but all there. The only apology that should be extended was for his unprofessional and apathetic behavior as well as the disrespect toward staff and patients in the practice. Kudos to Dr. Campbell for his tolerance and professionalism in response.
