Great dental office and notably amicable staff! Carol was my hygienist and she did a fantastic job. It was easy to tell that she is experienced and caring. I am very impressed by all of the staff members I interacted with, from Emily at the front desk all the way up to Dr. K. I was a new patient and they made everything super easy. Scheduling my first appointment was a breeze. Another thing I was impressed by was all of the technology utilized at every step of the way. Dr. K and her team are truly dedicated to providing the best possible care and doing so with genuine customer service in mind. I would recommend Capital City Dental to anyone.

I love Dr. K and the rest of the staff at Capital City! They make going to the dentist a much more casual and relaxing experience. I love chatting with everyone about our dogs, they even have pictures of all their pups in the lobby. The receptionists are also very knowledgeable and they understand insurance well, so you always get a straightforward answer regarding any costs associated with the services they provide!

I was looking for a dentistry that I could trust with my smile but also worth my time and money. Capital City Dental checks all the boxes! From the moment you walk in you’re greeted by friendly front desk staff. There really isn’t a wait to be seen once you’re all checked in. From there service has been quick and efficient. For my cleanings I’m out in about 45min! The overall ambience makes going to the dentist a little more enjoyable with the soft jazz/Lofi that plays. My teeth are handled with care every time, if there’s ever a concern they are quick to make sure it’s handled. It’s also a woman-owned woman ran office which I loveeee. Definitely hoping to remain loyal here! 10/10 recommend :)

For me, I won't EVER go to another Dentist. They treated my issue with privacy, dignity and respect, and they nurtured me through my Phobia of Dental procedures. Most importantly, when I needed Emergency treatment they squeezed me into an already tight Holiday schedule! 5 stars isn't enough to be honest, they deserve every award available! Dr. K is amazing! My teeth and gums are the healthiest they have ever been. I have never experienced a dentist who actually wants to improve my mouth health, not just maintain cleanings and fixing cavities. My periodontal disease is diminishing (9mm pockets to 4mm), my teeth are straight and bright, and my gums are pink and healthy. Shout out to her staff too, they are such great people and do outstanding work! I love talking to everyone of them!! I highly recommend Dr. K to anyone who wants a better smile!

The best place for all dental needs. Capital City Dental has a friendly ambience which starts with as soon as you enter the clinic. Emily and Lexi greet you with wide smiles that make your day. They have answers to any and all questions and can resolve any issue satisfactorily. The staff is extremely courteous and ensures you are comfortable right from ushering you to your bay to guiding you back to the lobby after the service. And, finally, Dr. Kotwani: she is one of the finest. You know you are in the safest of hands with her. You walk out of the clinic feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Wonderful dental practice, the staff is super nice, they have the latest in dental technology, and hygienists do a very thorough job. Dr. K is a great dentist and knows more about orthodontics than most general dentists, so this is a great place to go if you are thinking about getting Invisalign. I also love that the waiting room feels like a spa!

Dr. K and Carol are my dream team for dental care. I feel safe physically and emotionally when I’m there. I have difficult jaw misalignment from childhood that causes discomfort, but over the years it has improved greatly through their efforts and advice. Been going to dentists for several decades, and have to say, Capital City is the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Going to a dentist is usually something one tries to avoid, but if you need to, they are friendly yet very professional and are very specific so you know exactly the process and procedure. They’re so good, I’ve changed dentists to them. Need further work done, but am quite comfortable having Capital City do all that’s needed. On a 1 to 10, they’re easily a 10. Dr. K and her staff are fantastic. Everyone is thoughtful, kind and helpful. I was a new patient to their office in mid-November and they quickly got me in for a series of cleanings before my insurance changed for the new year. Throughout the appointments I was educated on what was happening, what my options were and I didn't feel pressured into other things like whitening or invisalign. My last visit with a dentist was ~4 years ago, and it was a traumatic experience. The office had more focus on their social media presence than patient care. As a result i put off going to see any dentist for years, so naturally I had bad anxiety going in. I mentioned having anxiety to the hygienist and she went out of her way to make sure I had a weighted blanket for my visits. I cannot say enough great things about the people here! If you've had a bad experience in the past Dr. K and her team will definitely change your mind about dentists offices.

I've been coming to Capital City Dental about 3 years. They are always friendly, and I feel they do a very thorough and conscientious cleaning and exam. They clean teeth the old fashioned way, not with one of those awful water jet things that hurts the gums and doesn't clean very well. Dr. K. is very friendly and takes her time with you, and not at all condescending like some dentists and doctors. I’ve wanted to extract a couple wisdom teeth for a while and when they mentioned that someone would be coming in to provide those services, I felt more comfortable jumping on the opportunity. Everyone there was amazing and made me feel super comfortable! However, if any dentist tells you to replace your old fillings that are not broke I don’t recommend it. The white stuff expands and a lot of it got up under my gums. After going back twice I just went back to my old dentist and she said it does happen but they should have just re done them bc it was so bad. After returning twice I felt it was best for me to move on. It cost me a lot of money to correct this problem. The people there are very kind, but the old saying is true that you shouldn’t ‘fix’ what is not broken.

I have been going to capital city dental for about a year now. I previously had been a patient at a larger, more commercial practice. Unfortunately I started having a lot of issues with my teeth and have had to have several fillings over the last three years. After my first appointment with Dr. K, she identified some problems and addressed them all. She even worked past office closing time to make sure it was done right after one tooth turned out to be a challenge. After this, she helped me develop a preventive program for the future. I don’t know how many of these issues may have been missed over the years at my previous dentist. I'm a 'dental wimp' - sweaty palms and nervous stomach for all procedures - but Dr. K has totally earned my trust - she takes the time to listen to me and to explain what's going on. Somewhere in the mix, my insurance company (MetLife Dental) decided that they wanted to not pay the bills due to their own clerical errors. Andrea in the office was super helpful and patient. She went above and beyond to help me resolve this issue, by making several calls to the insurance provider and corresponding with me via email, phone, and fax. So Dr. K recommended I use an occlusal guard since I grind my teeth at night while sleeping. I was apprehensive about sleeping with a mouthpiece but found that I'm able to rest at night, I dont wake up with headaches or jaw pain.. I now cant sleep without It.
