I’m from another state. Since I moved to SC the doctors I have been to have been alright. Never exceeded expectations which mine aren’t very high just simple stuff. This has been the best visit I have had from a doctor. They were awesome, the whole team. It was just a great experience very considerate, gentle with mouth care. I might be biased because I prefer the dentist. Just an awesome team. I they have years of experience and it shows. Thank you! Update: Had two cavities removed and it was the most pleasant experience. I was so at peace. It is a very comfortable environment with extraordinarily gentle care. I’m so happy I have found them. From the first visit to this one there has been consistency in customer service, gentlenesses, proper care and expertise. Very glad they’re in my network and very affordable, the quality is impeccable and it’s a very sweet-natured staff!

So far I am very impressed with Dr Rosell and his team. It has been a long time since I've been to a dentist so I was very nervous. But they were all so kind and reassuring. Their office looks like a older home but it is well laid out, clean and comfortable. My hygienist had 32 years of experience, was personable, friendly and did as good a job as I have ever experienced. The dentist was professional, quick, articulate and friendly. Dr. Rosell is a very kind Dentist. The staff are also very kind. The office is a bit outdated and did not reflect the highest level of cleanliness. The office is also not setup to maintain privacy in the patient exam areas, given such close quarters. Pricing was fair and reasonable. Very appreciative of my visit, the office could just use some TLC.

I had a really bad toothache and by sheer luck they had an available spot the same day. I came in and found out that we're short staffed and they really didn't have availability. I was devastated. They sat me down I had to wait awhile but they saw me anyway. The staff was so nice and professional. I'm really grateful that they helped me. I definitely would recommend.

It's always a pleasure coming to the dentist here. The staff is so friendly and I normally go to Mrs Tabby who is the best. But I went to a temp and she was just as good and sweet. I do hope that she continues with gaffos dentist.

Today was my first time ever going here and everyone was amazing. Started off with the lady up front (really bad at remembering names), she was so helpful to me when I realized I had forgot my license and insurance card. Rita who took care of my teeth was fantastic. She has a great sense of humor and took very good care of me. The actual dentist who came in to look at my teeth was also fantastic. The staff is friendly and I had a good new patient appointment. I normally don't like going to the dentist because I am sensitive to pain but they made sure I was comfortable and it was a breeze of an experience compared to other dental offices that I have used in the past. I didn't have to wait a minute past completing my paperwork to get started and they took their time with my exam to be sure to offer quality care. So grateful I chose this office as my new family dentist.

I can't believe i'm actually giving a place 5 stars but they deserve it. I searched for probably two months trying to find a dentist that my insurance would cover and had everything I was looking for in a dentist. Not only do they have everything I wanted but they also offer more! The staff is extremely friendly, they're knowledgeable and identified some conditions I had before I even told them AND they truly care about their patients. I have seen multiple discount offers being sent to my email for random reasons as well as holiday celebrations. I've had the same person each time I visit unlike other places I've visited so I know she knows what's going on. But they have also gone above and beyond for me with fighting my insurance as I had a procedure that was needed, even the insurance reps have said so. However, the insurance reviewer continues to decline it after 4 appeals. Family Dental Care of Spring Valley has told me not to even worry about it anymore that they will get it taken care of one way or another and kept me in the loop the entire time. They truly have gone above and beyond in EVERY way possible and put ME and my oral health first and not the money. You all are absolutely amazing.

If you are looking for a dentist who’s not going to push you on “cosmetic” stuff and do what fits YOUR budget and needs, this is it! The dentists are AMAZINGLY cool, friendly, and gentle. They don’t TELL you what you WILL get done, they actually explain what is wrong and have a conversation with you about how to proceed and how you would like things done. She never fails to put a smile on my face and is always sure my teeth are "squeaky clean". Dr. Rosell who I have had the pleasure to meet most recently, is the best dentist I have ever had. He is kind and personable. He listens and truly tries to go above and beyond - even if that means taking a little extra time and effort. We are still working on getting my bite just right after getting a night guard and having an adjustment. I can tell that he will keep at it until I no longer have pain - getting the bite right is very tricky and takes patience. Also, every dentist that I have seen since a child -wanted to fix my front teeth to make them look better. I never trusted anyone to touch my front teeth - as far as filing them down and doing bonding work. He pressed me a little bit (but he knew that I needed a light push and he felt confident in himself to do a good job) and I decided to do it. They look beautiful. Thank you for helping my smile, which has always been most important to me. I appreciate you all.

I was very impressed with Family Dental Care and actually have already referred my mom to use them. Dr. Rosell was so kind and you could tell he knows a lot about teeth and dental care. I loved that he gave me options on how to solve a problem, rather than forcing me to go with one treatment plan. He was also easy to talk to and just down-to-earth. I honestly haven’t been so happy with a dentist in years! Sam was also great. She talked me through things and made sure to get a few laughs in. She was gentle with the equipment and so kind. Tabby is the BEST dental hygienist ever. She really cares about your teeth and tries to make you as comfortable as possible. I was having some sensitivity issues well she took her time not to hit the sensitive areas and she used warm water rather than cold, which was much more tolerable. She makes great recommendations to improve your dental health. She's a hygienist who loves what she do and that speaks volumes!

My experience at Family Dental was ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! Here’s three reasons why: 1. Customer service 10 stars 2. Efficient compassionate care 10 stars 3. Wait time for an emergency service 15 stars I have not been to a dentist in many years due to fear and a bad experience. However, today at 8:30 am I had excruciating PAIN!!!!!! I scheduled an appointment with this office (off the cuff) on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. I had not heard of them before and skimmed through the reviews. My pain was barely noticeable then and I was just going to finally get it checked because of past flare ups but nothing serious. They gave me an appointment for Monday, April 26, 2021. I felt okay about it UNTIL....Wednesday night late! It was driving me up a wall!!! I did not want to go to the ER due to Covid (although I have been vaccinated fully).I took some Tylenol and tried to rest but pain was still throbbing well after the Tylenol. I knew I would have to get seen this am. I saw an emergency dental place on line and decided to try them. On my way there the receptionist at Family Dental called me and asked me to confirm my appointment for Monday. I told her I was on my way to another place because of the excruciating pain. She tells me I should have called them and that they can see me at 9:30/10 am!!!!!I said I’m on my way NOW!!!!!I could not believe it! Judy, Dr. Rosell, Danielle and the receptionist that was so gracious in calling me treated me like royalty. This dentist did not waste time!!!!!!He went after my bad tooth, came up with a plan of action. He said he could focus on the other areas later! He gave me a shot to relieve the pain which I was most thankful for and two scripts ( antibiotic/pain pill)!!!!!I have NEVER been treated which such consideration, accommodation, and care at an oral care/medical facility! I had given up on customer service because rarely do I ever have any that is worth talking about! Sorry this is so long but it was important to me to tell the whole story! Go see Family Dental and ask for Dr. Rosell. You will NOT regret it!
