I was referred to Smith Family Dentistry by my best friend back in 2019 when my prior dentist office unexpectedly closed. This dentist office is very professional and the entire staff is amazing. They’re very helpful and will attend to your every need. Julia has been my personal dentist and she has a great personality and she’s such a caring person. On September of 2020 Dr. Smith referred me to Dr. Holmes, a local orthodontist to look at correcting my teeth that obviously should’ve been addressed years ago, but my previous dentist office never mentioned or addressed and I’m truly grateful to the staff at Smith Family Dentistry for helping me through the process. Over 9 years now I have always been meet with cheerful, caring and professional staff at Smith Family Dentistry. Though teeth cleaning is still not my favorite activity, the Dentists and Dental Hygienists are highly skilled and makes the process less painful. I would say almost enjoyable.

I just have to say... and I'm honestly surprised I haven't left a review in the past, how much our family absolutely adores the amazing people at Smith Family Dentistry. From office staff to dentists to hygenists, everyone is just fantastic. My son Oliver is on the spectrum, and has a very difficult time with noises, stress, and people in general. This is not a problem here though which I can't even begin to tell you what a miracle that is. Dr. Smith's wife has become his best bud, and just interacts with him in a way that I have seen very few able to do. He smiles for her, and laughs, and let's her work on him. Dr. Smith (the younger...) is professional, good with kids, and thourough. Dr. Smith (Senior) is hard not to love, because he is just so personable. Susan and Amy in the office are so easy to work with, and always go above and beyond for our family. We have been going here for the past three years, since moving into the community. They have worked on all of our children, as well as my wife and myself. They are just absolutely the best. Highly reccommended!

In the past I have had major anxiety about dental visits and am always apprehensive and nervous prior to an appointment. Dr. Smith and the entire staff make a visit stress free, comfortable, and even FUN! Glad to have found this dentist. After our child’s dentist stopped taking our insurance, we called them and immediately got him in. Many other offices were full until Spring of 2022. After the first visit, I decided to switch us all. Very friendly staff, knowledgeable, and willing to take time to make a patient understand the procedures. My cleaning today was one of the best cleanings I’ve had. No discomfort, relaxed atmosphere and Cassie was excellent. Dentist, Dr Richard explained everything thoroughly and I felt like a partner in my care, an important aspect for me. The receptionists are very kind and helpful, the hygienists are respectful and compassionate, and the dentists treat each person with generous care for their overall well-being. From walking in the door, I was greeted very nicely and professionally. As a new client, the paper work was very straight forward and easy to complete. I arrived at my appointment 30 minutes early and no more than filled out my forms, when I was called in for my exam (early). All of the employees were wearing masks and gloves. The facility was very clean and sanitized. Sarah was very nice and great at explaining step by step what was going to happen in the exam room. She was very gentle and never once did I feel the slightest pain. Dr. Smith arrived promptly in the room as soon as Sarah was finished and he was very honest and catered to my thoughts. I will be back again and again! Highly recommend Smith & Smith dentistry. They are top notch!

I recently went in for my annual cleaning. A small cavity was found. I returned to have it taken care of. Dr. Chris Smith, as always, asked if there were any other concerns. I told him yes, there was a tooth that was bothering me - it was not the one he was working on. Not only did he find the time to address the issue, which I hope didn’t put him behind for his next appointment, he took time to explain the issue in terms I could understand. He discussed the options for treatment, his best recommendation, and responded to issues that came up in the meantime. I felt that he listened to my concerns, answered my questions and set up a treatment plan that I had confidence in pursuing. I am very very pleased with the care I received!

My daughter broke her front tooth off. She had to get an implant. At the time she was 16 years old. She was devastated that she would have to go without a tooth. Dr. Chris was wonderful with her. He made a mouth piece with a tooth made into it. No one could tell that she didn’t have a tooth. I am so grateful to him. Kids can be cruel and because of Dr. Chris my daughter didn’t have to worry. Melanoma smithfamilydentisty has taken care of my all dentals needs for the past 40 years. During a recent 6 month check up the hygienist noticed a large mole, that had turned black & irrrgular. After finishing my cleaning and gum check. She advised the doctor of her concern. After his check of my mouth he, he also checked my scalp, took photos, sent them to dermatologist and made me the appointment to see him. Guess what? It was melanoma !! A surgeon has removed the tissue and I now have a big hole in my scalp, but i dont care! I am forever greatful for that office's concern and attention. And for that Hygienist who was concern about a patient's total health & well being. Thank You DR. Richard Smith, Chis Smith and entire Office
