This is a great dental practice. Amazingly, my kids look forward to their dental appointment. Dentist and hygienists are knowledgeable and gentle with patients. An added good experience: once my mom was visiting from out-of-state and broke her tooth at the beginning of her trip. I called Willard St Family Dental for help, and they got her into a same day appointment and fixed her tooth. We were so thankful they helped her even though she is not a regular patient.

I had no idea a dental practice could run so smoothly and be this competent, caring, and responsive to patients' needs. In other words, this is the best dental practice I've ever known. I've received expert care here, and they have often been able to see me immediately in urgent situations. Everyone could not have been more supportive of my anxiety and so very professional, from the admin staff to the hygienist Amy and then Dr. Keeton! I had a broken tooth. I got in quickly expecting a patch with a later appointment for something permanent. They asked if I had two hours (max). It happened I did. 1.5 hours later I walked out with a new crown. Very pleased with Dr. Keaton and his helper.

I'm not one to post lots of reviews, but when I received the request I was happy to post. I logged in it looks like I posted one after a previous visit and everything is still right on point. If you are in the Burlington area this is the place for your dental needs. Previous post...I have unique dental needs and have had a difficult time finding a caring dental practice until I came to Willard Street Family Dental. They listen to my concerns without judgement, provide compassionate care, have evening hours so I don't have to miss work, my hygienist schedules appointments directly and I've never received a bill that needed to be explained and chased down on my end. If you are looking for personalized, compassionate dental care this is the place for you.

I had my first visit to Willard Street Family Dental today. It was for a routine cleaning. I couldn't be happier! Blythe, my hygienist was so awesome! She was thorough, extremely friendly and took full xrays. I then met briefly with Dr. Adam DeSanctis to review my xrays. Aside from regular cleanings, I don't need any dental work! Bonus! I've been living in Vermont (from Canada) for a little over 2 years and this was my THIRD attempt to secure long-term dental care. Third time's a charm. I'm very happy to have found them! Highly recommend!

I HATE the dentist, will do anything I can to avoid. Unfortunately avoidance isn't the best strategy and I found myself in a dental emergency while on tour. After trying another recommended dental group and not feeling better I went (with a friend) to Willard at the end of the day and felt so seen, so cared for, so heard and so much better. With out the gory deets of the extraction, let's just say the best outcome of an unfortunate traveling situation. THANK YOU Dr. DeSanctis & Team, I am so thankful! I joked about flying back to Burlington for future dental work... but maybe not joking.

Everyone is professional, friendly and courteous. High standard of cleanliness. Appears best practices are met. Staff listen to patient needs and include patient in decision making with pros and cons of procedures. The only mark against this practice is the esthetics and design of the space. It is so outdated and in need of updating that some people would use this as an indicator of their professional quality.

Uncomfortable to somewhat painful depending when in the 2 hr. 15 minute session one measured. But that is what expects in a dentistry office. I entered with a broken tooth and teeth that had not been professionally cleaned for some time. I left with a high tech tooth crown and cleaned teeth. In the meanwhile my sentence was eased by my chatting with a number of interesting staff members.

I have been living in Burlington for a year but did not have a local dentist yet. I had severe pain in my lower left jaw that came on quickly and I was very concerned I would have to wait to get into to a dentist to help. I called Willard Street Family Dental and they were able to get me an appointment the next morning! Unfortunately, right after I made the appointment, the pain got even worse. I called back to see if they could help and they offered to get me in immediately! Dr. DeSanctis was kind, helpful, supportive, and did a GREAT job on my root canal. Even though I had just met him I felt completely comfortable and in great hands! He walked me through the entire procedure and made me feel like I was in control of my care with him and his assistant (so many dentists just work on you without “seeing” you). I’m so thankful to be pain free and in great shape thanks to him and his crack team. Wish I could give 10 stars! Thank you!!!

Wonderful place to get dental care! I was lucky to get an appointment in a week's time. Everyone was professional and nice, and I was happy with my newly cleaned teeth. My only issue is that they use bitewing X-rays and not a panoramic one for the preventive diagnostic exam, and it can be uncomfortable if you have a small mouth. Overall, I'm happy with my experience -- I've booked my next cleaning appointment with them too!

Relatively new to Burlington, I went in as a new patient, was scheduled quickly, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and enjoyable, and all my dental concerns were addressed. Dr. DeSanctis even fit me in later the same day for a cavity filling at 7pm before the office closed for New Year’s! I was dreading getting a cavity filled after an unfortunate prior experience, but, characteristically of the practice, it was quick and as pleasant as can be! I felt like a person in their office- a sentiment often lacking in our fast paced healthcare system. The holy grail of dentistry in my book.

Karen, my dental hygienist, was thorough about checking the condition of my teeth and gums after I’d missed my 6-month appointment due to the pandemic. She measured and recorded her findings. She answered my questions and asked the dentist for answers when she wasn’t sure. Very kind, helpful, and efficient. Dr. DeSanctis, the dentist, was direct about best case scenario and worst case scenario for one tooth that needs work. I know what the plan is for my next appointment and what else might need to happen. I only wish I didn’t need to wait five weeks for my 2-hour appointment with the dentist. My wife had a serious tooth pain. She developed a condition overnight that required a root canal done as soon as possible. We came in on a Friday afternoon with no preliminary appointment asking to do something to relieve the pain. We are patients of Dr. Keeton but he was off that day. As busy as Dr. Sanctis was that day, he came to the rescue and made sure that the root canal was open and cleaned and everything else done to bring my wife back to her usual happy again. And all that with smiles, upbeat personality and not even a word of complaint on us dropping in with no warning and disrupting his schedule and probably causing him and his assistants staying longer at work on Friday. Excellent dental work, state-of-the-art equipment, great caring people.

I missed my scheduled cleaning around the time COVID hit Vermont. The team at Willard Street Family Dental got a hold of me last week and had me in for a cleaning the next day. I received some great feedback about some of the more vulnerable teeth in my mouth, along with a reminder to not crush my gums while brushing. And of course, floss every day. The team was very COVID cautious, kitted out with proper ventilation, and a cool new tool that allowed the hygienist to not having to switch between instruments.

Quick, yet high quality service with very friendly and informative staff. Awesome staff very kid friendly and most importantly they are generally on time or even early. It's very rare that you wait long before your being treated. The dr's and staff are very conscious of how valuable your time is and do thier best to give you top notch service and get you back to your day with minimal delays, but they will sit and talk a bit they dont rush you out the door. They are about customer service. They also do crowns in house so no 3 week delay or multiple visits. In my opinion that is a bonus.

I just had my first appointment at Willard St Dental, and it was such a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and competent, and I really felt like I came away with important information about taking care of my teeth that I haven't gotten from other dentists. They are very thorough in the care they provide, and they really take the time to explain things, which I greatly appreciate. The one thing I would recommend is investing in a bike rack! Since the office is so conveniently located in the downtown Burlington area, I'm sure a lot of other patients arrive by bicycle, and would appreciate having a place to safely lock their bikes. All in all, though, probably the best dentist experience I've had.

Best dentist I've ever been to! My previous dentist and the endodontist they referred me to had repeatedly pressured me into getting a $1,500 root canal on a molar whose roots had apparently died. Dr. Kris Keeton took one look at my x-rays (and then at a subsequent 360 scan) and asked if the tooth hurt or if there'd been an abscess. I said no, the dentist/endodontist had discovered this on the x-rays, but I never had any pain or discomfort. Then he spoke the best seven words I'd ever heard from a dentist: "Nothing needs to be done right now." From my experience, most dentists are much more interested in their bottom line than in the health of their patients. For many years, every time I went to the dentist (two different ones), it was always, "Oh, this is wrong and that is wrong, and you need a crown/filling/what-have-you right now." I always felt like I was being ripped off. I have never heard anyone say, "It's okay, you can wait a while before doing XYZ," or "If you don't have any pain, nothing needs to be done." According to the other dentists, something ALWAYS needed to be done. Dr. Kris also discussed an implant I'm considering but haven't been able to afford, and offered to set up an affordable payment plan. He also mentioned that between setting the post and the abutment, several months would pass, so it would be easier for me to pay it off. Nobody had ever bothered telling me this before! This was my first visit, but I'm sold... this will be the last dentist I'll ever need.

I’ve always gone for regular cleanings and been very happy with how well I was treated, but Dr. DeSanctis went above and beyond when treating an infection in my mouth that spread throughout my face. I was in so much pain and so afraid but he walked me through every step (throughout multiple urgent appointments and procedures). His care plan was clear and his sensitivity to my anxiety and the level of pain I was experiencing will not be forgotten. He and his team put me at ease and provided phenomenal care. They even checked in on me days after going home to ensure all was clear and my pain level was subsiding. If you’re looking for a dentist who truly puts patients first, look no further.
