White Water Oral Surgery and Dr. Kempers and staff are exceptional. Highly recommend. My son is a hard stick and has had some very bad experiences, but this team was exceptional and put us both at ease from the beginning. His recovery was SO much better than expected and no narcotics was a big plus. The staff were informative and friendly and the facility was clean, bright, and easy to find.

I cannot believe I’m writing a review for an oral surgeon but I was blown away by my experience! I was referred to Whitewater by my dentist for wisdom teeth extractions. The initial call to book was easy and the staff was friendly and accommodating. When I went in for my consult, the dental assistant was so friendly and eased my anxiety. Dr. Nelson was great and explained everything and was direct, which I appreciate in a healthcare provider. My surgery scheduled for weeks later went amazingly well! The pre care instructions were clear and the surgery quick and pretty painless. Dr. Nelson even called me personally later the day of my surgery to check in and said to feel free to call with any concerns. How thoughtful ❤️ My follow up went great and Dr. Nelson was super professional. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Nelson.

From my evaluation to surgery, I received thorough explanations and excellent care. I had considerable work done but left with surprisingly little pain and a quick recovery. I was treated well at every contact point from the front desk to the medical procedure. I will be returning to Dr. Kempers and Whitewater to finish this process and others as need arises.

I had a great experience here! I recently had to get my wisdom teeth out and was actually shocked at how easy everything was! Don't get me wrong, the first week was hard but I had ample prescriptions and gauze ready! The overall procedure was quick and easy, I was in, and out very quickly and ready to head home. Love the staff, as well! Very friendly and knowledgeable! I was able to get a cost estimate a day before the procedure as well with my insurance so I knew exactly what it would cost on the day of surgery. Thank you all for making a very scary task, a lot more comfortable for me! I'm thinking I might be back for some invisalign next!

Although these folks are extremely busy do to end of year, emergencies, (which was requested by my dentist.) and all other factors, the staff and Dr. Nelson are the best in the state. They are extremely friendly, make sure they have everything scheduled properly and don't let you sit waiting for your appt. Absolutely incredible since I had a dental emergency and they had to double book me just to get me in!! Wish the rest of the medical community would follow suit. Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Nelson! I was referred to Whitewater for an extraction and showed up to the consult pretty anxious (I absolutely hate dental work), but Dr. Nelson and his nurses were so kind and reassuring! When it came to the day of the extraction, everyone was so kind and welcoming. About a day or 2 after my extraction, I was still in a good amount of pain, so I decided to call and make sure I was doing everything right. They walked me through the aftercare again and really helped me out with finding better ways to ease the pain. It has since healed perfectly. I will recommend Whitewater to anyone who needs a good oral surgeon!

My experience with Whitewater & Dr. Hastings was excellent. I was very nervous about such a big procedure of hybrid implants. They explained/answered all my questions throughly & patiently. When the procedure day came I felt I'd been given all the information in order to make an informed decision. I won't tell you it isn't painful, but that too was no surprise..they were very sensitive, caring & compassionate to my needs. The Doctor was very compassionate and understanding. He explained everything to me, in depth. I had two teeth pulled due to decay. The office sent me pre-surgery video instructions filmed by the Doctor himself, which I thought was awesome. It shows dedication. When I came in for surgery he walked me through what he would be doing. The procedure went smoothly, and with his instructions, as well as post-surgery detailed paperwork and video instructions, I was able to take care of myself properly. The office also has given me a few calls since to make sure my recovery is going well. I feel very well cared for and want to continue being a patient here.

The entire process was seamless and I was well informed each step of the way. This was my first ever surgery so I was a bit nervous, Dr. Hastings made sure I was comfortable and made sure all my questions were answered prior to surgery day. The recovery/healing process was a piece of cake, I followed all instructions given and had no problems. This facility was also EXTREMELY well-priced, they quoted me over $700 under what my previous dental office quoted me. I'll be recommending them to all friends and family in the future :)

My son had his wisdom teeth removed. The surgery was very fast and went very well. When the nurse brought my son out to us she was wonderful! She explained everything we needed to know going home. She had a great tip for keeping ice on the side of each cheek. She replaced the gauze one more time before we left. We left with supplies and a prescription for pain. My son was in excellent hands from start to finish! I apologize for not remembering her name. She was very caring and very professional. The experience couldn't have gone better. My experience getting my wisdom teeth removed was very good, I liked the facility and the nurses and it was overall very quick and easy. however, I felt the anesthesiologist/doctor was kind of on the rude side. I was very nervous for this procedure as any normal person would be and he seemed rather annoyed to have to deal with someone with nerves about the procedure. I get everyone has an off day but he was like turning around in frustration trying to play it off like he wasn’t getting annoyed and saying how I already asked for a second and started grabbing my arm when I wasn’t ready and panicking. It was good experience however I’d take ur nervous ones somewhere else where they are more patient!

Dr Nelson is a great and wonderful oral surgeon. I have went to him for several different implants, sinus lift and grafts. He is very professional and has a great bedside manner. My daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted at Whitewater. She was very anxious about the procedure, but the staff was very friendly. They put her at ease right away. After the surgery they called to check on her and seemed genuinely concerned. After about 6 days, my daughter was experiencing pain and swelling. They got her in right away. Staff member Tatiana took really good care of her. She showed my daughter how to flush the area and cleaned it out really well. My daughters pain subsided immediately. Tatiana was super sweet and compassionate. She took x-rays and advised my daughter on jaw stretching exercises. Then the doctor also examined her and answered all questions. We have used Whitewater for three other family members and will continue to recommend them to our friends and family in need of oral surgery.

Getting your wisdom teeth removed at 30 years old is definitely less than ideal and not a looked forward to event but I couldn’t be happier with Whitewater Oral Surgery, especially Dr. Hastings. I broke a tooth totally in half that happened to be falling apart in which had a root canal on it many years ago . of course when i did it it was 3am on a Friday . here i was , unable to drink any liquid , eat any sort of anything , and barley talk . i went back to sleep & woke up at 6am panicking , calling every dentist within 50 miles (not even kidding) seeing it's a Friday & this thing is so sensitive i can't eat , drink , or talk thinking " im gonna be stuck with this all weekend " . until i heard back from Whitewater Oral , they called asked if i could be there immediately , i confirmed i could be on my way but was 25 mins out . When i arrived around noon , anxiety ridden , i was immediately called back . within 5 minutes doctor Nelson was in the room asking about my issue , when i showed him the break , he immediately stood up and said " oh yeah , can you call yourself a ride ? you're gonna need to be asleep for this , and you need it out . have you ate or drank anything today " i started freaking out , panicking , thinking i've had a tooth pulled prior to this and only had to be numbed , why is it like this ? to figure out my tooth was broke in half , nerve was exposed and still totally connected to the roots . within 15 minutes i was getting an i.v. and getting ready to have surgery . i don't remember falling asleep , and was walked straight out to the vehicle that picked me up when i was done and was still home around 3 ! i could not be more thankful i did not have to deal with that all weekend . no issues healing , & they even called to check in on me ! highly recommend Whitewater Oral !!

I just needed a third molar extraction, relatively minor. The staff was very friendly and made the process very stress free. I wasn't even inside the building for a full hour from the time I checked in to the time I was safely able to leave, and I haven't had any real pain at the procedure site in the 10 or so days since the procedure. They took good care of me, they were efficient and competent, and the procedure was affordable. They will definitely be my first choice for any future oral surgery needs.

Coming in for consultation for sinus and implant procedure, I was scared. However, Dr. Nelson and the nurses made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I would recommend Whitewater to anyone who is hesitating before surgery as I did for a year. You do have to make a full payment before the surgery for the portion that's not covered under insurance, FYI.

Dr Hastings is the most careful and thoughtful oral surgeons I have yet to encounter. I have heard nothing but praise about his work and now first hand I know why. When I went to get my dentures adjusted they too were impressed with his work. "I am so impressed with who did your work" she said, " Never before have I seen an oral surgeon who used natural remedies instead of unnecessary pain medicines." I was referred to Dr Hastings office, by my dentist Dr Hill. My very first visit was exceptional, the front office staff were, and have been extremely helpful. The parking is easy, and plentiful, the front office offers a very nice environment with plenty of seating. The staff as I mentioned above is exceptional, they are very accommodating with all of the first visit stuff that all patients need to take care of. The exam rooms are much like the lobby area, comfortable, and the staff is constantly making sure you are as comfortable as possible. If you happen to need the services that Whitewater Oral Surgery offers, I highly recommended working with this group. For myself the work that I needed to have, I am extremely satisfied.

I was an extremely nervous, crying wreck before getting the anesthesia and he managed to distract me and before I knew it I was awake and walking! The assistant (I believe) was super sweet and very comforting since I did have a panic attack after waking up. They gave me a warm blanket and fluids and then I was good to go! So far very tolerable pain. If you also have horrible dental/health anxiety, I genuinely couldn’t recommend this place enough to you! I wish I could go here for regular dental work, lol. All of the doctors have only great reviews which says a lot about this place!

Almost three years ago, I had a physical and financial life altering encounter with another individual (I cannot say dentist because they no longer deserve that title)! I was basically at the point of no teeth, crooked terrible implants, and a set of “broken” dentures that wouldn’t stay in and I couldn’t even eat with! *update 11/9/21* After speaking to a girl who basically threatened me by saying "you need to pay before I send this to collections", I talked to a business manager (don't recall his name) who listened to the situation and helped resolve it. He was very kind, professional, and understanding. *Update 11/8/21* So after my evaluation for a quote, this place sends me a bill to my old address for the evaluation! When I made the appointment to get a quote, they were supposed to use the xrays I already had and told me there would be no charge for an evaluation to get a quote. Here we are over a year later and now they want me to pay for the evaluation. If they charge people to give them a quote, why didn't they tell me that upfront? Isn't this illegal to tell someone a quote is free, then send them a bill later on? I was referred here to get an impacted tooth out. While I have yet to get the procedure done, I can share my experience so far: first off, my only real issue is that I recently got Xrays done somewhere else and wanted to use these so I would not have to get more. They said they would contact my dentist and get the Xrays no problem. Well on the day of my consult, they said they were unable to get them and I needed to take more. They did not contact me prior and let me know they could not get the Xrays because if they did, I could have gotten them myself. A little more respect for patients' concerns and requests is necessary. The Dr and the staff were pretty professional and their rates were ok for the most part. It was easy to set up an appointment and discuss my options.

When at Whitewater they genuinely cared about my mental health history and told me they could provide a less stressful situation. Had my wisdom teeth taken out, everything went as smooth as I pictured. The only thing I'd say is that at the last minute, the doctor told me he'd have to cut a nerve that I wasn't aware of, so it prolonged the healing by a few days, but I'm not sure they would've been able to do anything about that. Also, they didnt give me quite enough anesthesia to fully put me to sleep so I woke up with a headache from the surgeons talking. But overall, I think they did everything within their power to have a smooth procedure.

The only thing is that they are expensive. $827 to pull 1 tooth is kind of ridiculous, they do take care of you and are awesome people. Came in from out of town to see an Endodontist. He instead referred me to Whitewater, they were able to get me in same day and remove a tooth that had been bothering me for 6 months. Went back there, I (hating all dentistry) was on the verge of a panic attack, but Dr Hastings is awesome and answered my questions calmly and got the drugs flowing way before I could scare myself. You don’t even realize 1 minute has passed in you are in the recovery chair. Dr. Hastings and his team are awesome! Ok, here is the best part... I am on Day 2 and still have no pain (no pain first day either). Not even taking narcotic pain meds- I take some Advil. I probably don’t even need that though. Even though I have total dental phobia, I will be back next year to do my other 2 wisdom teeth since that was so, factually, painless.

I saw Dr Nelson for my nose because of a bike accident. I knew I had a deviated septum and had been having sinus issues for years, so I stopped by and saw Dr Nelson before going to the hospital and asked him to sew my nose back on straight and make it pretty. I worried that if I had gone directly to the hospital without asking Dr Nelson to do the surgery, I would wake up from anesthesia with an ear in place of my nose. After the pain was gone and now that healing is over, I am so happy with my decision. I tell everyone about my "nose transplant" and how I got my new cute perfectly shaped nose that looks like the nose of a princess.
