The staff is amazing I have not been to a DDS in years, they made me feel comfortable and answer all my questions. I had a cleaning done twice and two fillings. I Had a problem with both fillings which they were able to fix one and replace the other at no additional charge. I am so happy to have met the staff at Green Tree Dental and I am now Happy to have found a DDS and an oral hygienist I can trust and and continue to see you for years to come. Thank You.

Dr. Laos and his team are among the best in dentistry that I have ever encountered in my lifetime. I barely even felt anything and had zero pain as they worked on me. I have been coming here for several years. I’ve experienced the expert service from the past two Dentists and staff. Each time I was disappointed in having a new dentist again when I had been so satisfied. However, I was so surprised and excited to see that this office, staff and Dentist are truly experienced, care about their patients, and want their patients to be comfortable, relaxed and confident of their new relationship of dental care. I could immediately tell that Dr. Laos was well educated and experienced in his field. He made me confident in knowing that my expectations were far more surpassed. Heather made me feel like I was part of the family and it felt like I had known them forever. Michelle was prompt in explaining the services provided me and setting up my future appointment. Sharon and Michelle ‘s greetings as I entered the office and when I departed the office was superb. The cleaning was fine. The dentist tried to up-sell me on some wild stuff (capping my molars to even out my bite?). He pitched me for what felt like 5 minutes. It was really awkward. They also tried to upswell me on coming in for cleaning 4x per year instead of two. The whole experience left me feeling uneasy and stressed. They have new ownership. I only saw one of the 3 dentists, but I think I will look for a new dentist.

As a new patient to this office, I am extremely impressed. I chose to leave my previous dentist because I felt my family and I weren’t being fully cared for, and my experience with this office was absolutely night and day. They addressed any dental concerns, explained every step, and I really appreciated being able to see the X-rays and digital photos of the area of concern. Huge kudos to my new favorite hygienist, Rae for the best cleaning I’ve ever had, and the wonderful staff at the front desk had my treatment plan with insurance details printed and ready for me before I even got to the desk. Great job building a wonderful team, Dr. Schmidt! I’m excited to come back (who says that about a dental office?!).

Although I’m slightly sadden about Dr Schmidt leaving this practice I am very pleased with the new Dr. As always the staff here is fabulous. Always catches me off guard asking specific personal questions about my life when I have been forgetting to come for my visits for an extended period of time….. how they remember every detail about every patient seriously blows my mind. Also personally dealing with dental anxiety due to a bad childhood experience the staff here have been very comforting and willing to take everything step by step to make things work! I have recommended all my friends and family members here. I honestly can keep going about how great this place is and reasons you should give them a chance.. you won’t regret it!

Great experience every time. The office gives digital reminders and a personal call before your appointment. Staff is professional, knowledgeable, positive and personable. Dr. Schmidt spends as much time as you require discussing future treatments and your questions. I've only needed teeth cleaning and a night guard, so I can't speak to the other services. 2022 Update: Have been working with Dr.Laos for several visits. He is excellent at his dentistry. He listens and works with you to acheive the results you want. He is an artist with his work as well. Amanda is my go to for teeth cleaning and she is also one of the best. She is gentle and has natural products that she can use at your request. I have a family member that drives over three hours for both their services.

Have been going to Green Tree for several years. The previous dentist, Dr. Schmidt, recently moved to another part of the state and a new dentist took over. I recently went in for a cleaning and everything is so different. I had a traveling hygienist who was filling in. I realize she wasn’t familiar with the office and procedures but she forgot to do several things that were on her checklist so a couple times she told me I was done only to call me back to do something else. I also feel like she messed up the fluoride application because I have never had it be sticky and chunky on my teeth. After an hour and a half I couldn’t take it anymore and removed it with warm water and brushing. Also, I have never had a dentist not check in after the cleaning. I never once saw the new dentist. Front office staff were friendly but on their cell phones the entire time. I realize the office is in a transitional period, so I will give them one more shot before I start looking for a new dental office.

Today, my crown broke while eating lunch (front/ very visible tooth) I panicked as I recently moved to Boise and had not yet established care with a dental office. It was painful, and very noticeable. I called green tree at 1 pm, and was in the dental chair by 1:45. The entire staff was unbelievable accommodating and kind. Dr. Schmidt and his assistant stayed late to ensure that I was taken care of. The front desk staff was diligent about getting my insurance info figured out immediately. I am extremely thankful for Green Tree’s willingness to help me today. I highly recommend this office as it is evident that they prioritize exceptional patient care.

I have been going here since before Dr. Schmidt, many years. Always enjoyed great service from the Dentists and all staff. Since the recent change I have had the front office raise her voice on the phone, not call back after promising to and laughing at me while on the phone causing great anxiety. Dentist's idea of making up was with a free consult, which consisted of looking at the exrays Dr. Schmidt had done and come to the same conclusion and plan we already had. No apology from him though. No apologies from anyone. So I had to spend my time for a useless freebe to make up for his staff's failings. Look elsewhere. I upgrade my rating to a 4. I would like to give them a 5 star rating. I got some of the best "chair side" manner I have had from Dr. Laos. Excellent work. Also recieved communication from him. I will continue seeing Dr. Laos. I cannot rate a 5 because communication seems to be an issue with this business. Dr Hess, the owner of the business was guaranteed to call. Never did. Same old story.

Fast and painless wisdom tooth extraction. I really recommend this place. Reasonable price. Dr leo and the team are very friendly and helpful. Love the receptionists they really made the whole registration and appointment process very smooth.

My husband and I were looking for a dentist as he had no had dental insurance prior to us getting married and was in desperate need of a cleaning and wisdom teeth removal. He had a cleaning, and had his wisdom teeth out within a month of establishing. The dental staff was courteous and knowledgeable and he was extremely happy with his quick recovery and the time the staff took to explain all his after care instructions. I also wanna give a shout-out to Rae. My first visit here I felt slightly overwhelmed and rushed. I had Rae on my second visit when I came back for a deeper cleaning and Rae took the time to listen to the concerns I had about my dental health and offer recommendations. The front staff were all amazing as well. I will definitely be recommending this office to friends and family.

Dr. Schmidt’s dental practice is exceptional because he is extremely gentle, he does excellent dental procedures and the entire staff is friendly. I recently had a crown which was completely stress less and pain-free throughout every step from the shot to the final crown. Dr. Schmidt takes his time to make sure all issues are explained and discussed. My routine visits with the hygienists are very thorough, and they do a great job cleaning my teeth. The office staff is very efficient about scheduling, billing insurance, and my appointments are on time. My family and I have had a terrific overall experience at Green Tree Dental.

The entire office was so kind and absolutely pleasant throughout the entirety of my appointment. For those who are nervous to go to the dentist for any reason, this office is for you. Between the genuine care they put into their work and you as an individual patient, I can honestly say as someone who fears the dentist office I couldn't have felt more cared for. On top of that they are also completley forthcoming about cost and insurance coverage and didn't push me into anything continued service wise. I generally do not leave reviews, but my hope in leaving this review, is that someone else who also struggles in the way I have with approaching dentistry hears that there is not only hope, but help on the horizon. I am truly the biggest baby in the universe when it comes to going to the dentist. Up until now. Doctor Schmidt is excellent at what he does. He works quickly, explains things on your level and is very gentle. His entire staff is warm, welcoming and efficient. I had a root canal, a crown and a cavity filled all on the same day and didn't even hurt after the numbing wore off. I am beyond happy with my experience there!

Had a great experience here. I had been looking for a new dentist after my old one's practice changed ownership and it started to feel like an assembly line instead of them actually caring. I had neglected my dental care for a number of years and feared the worst when I finally got around to scheduling an appointment. The entire staff treated me with kindness and respect. Tammy runs an extremely efficient and courteous office and is quick with a hello and a smile as soon as I walk in the door. The technicians and hygienists are skilled and gentle, and one who I shall not name sang as she cleaned my teeth. 😄 Dr. Schmidt is very personable and takes his time to first identity a treatment plan, then fully explain each step along the way, as well as being sensitive to timing and financial constraints. To top it off, he gave me the first shot of my life that didn’t hurt! I highly recommend Green Tree Dental.

Dr. Joseph Schmidt takes the scary out of dentist visits!! His first and last concern is you...what you need, what you want and what you can afford. Today, what i thought would take 2 hours was over in 30 minutes!! And as always, without any pain or discomfort!! They will get you in and out in a very reasonable time frame and get you going on your day. Great clinic! It’s been easy to schedule appointments and they always run smoothe. Even though they’re not just a pediatric dental office the appointments for my kids were great. When I broke a tooth in half recently, I wasn’t too concerned because I knew I had a great dentist, Dr. Schmidt. However, it was an odd break on a FRONT tooth, so I did have a little concern. Green Tree Dental fit me in their busy schedule, we discussed options for fixing my tooth, and they were able to restore my tooth in one visit! It was a FRONT tooth that is always going to show, but they matched the color perfectly and you can’t even tell which tooth it is, YAY!! I don't do reviews very often unless my experience with a business or product is literally horrible. Was also sad to see Dr McKinley retire, and kept coming to Dr Schmidt with some skepticism. That said, I was VERY happy to see that he kept all the old employees and have been majorly impressed with the investment in modernization and utilization of entirely new techniques. Long story short - Dr Schmidt gave me a new bridge recently and one of the teeth became painfully problematic, indicating the need for a root canal. It was a tricky one to save the bridge and the Dr not only got me in on ONE day's notice and performed to perfection, there was ZERO pain once the numbness wore off. He also took the time to call me last night to see how I was doing. If you're looking for a REALLY good dentist, I give Dr Schmidt and Greentree my 100%/ two (I'd give 3 or 4 if I had that many :) VERY enthusiastic thumbs up!
