After 2 accidents which respectively knocked out and cracked teeth, I have had decades of horrendous dental repairs. That on top of bad genes, a sweet tooth and increasing anxiety. The dental repair before I went to Dr Lynn Blaisdell nearly sent me through the roof and I knew I couldn't stand anymore so I went searching for sedation therapy. He suggested something simple, a prescription. It was magnificent! I barely remember the dental visit or my day even! I was so relaxed I fell asleep during my lunch after my visit. Lol. I know now that dental anxiety is over. I will do whatever is required for my dental health without concern and thankfully. I feel like I've entered the right century at last.

I wouldn't trust my teeth with anyone else! I've been seeing Dr. B and now Dr. C for about 20 years and have amazing teeth because of it! In the instance when I did need a root canal, Dr. B came into the office on a Saturday evening to remedy the situation. Love my hygienist Kim and one of my first hygienists, Sandra. Everyobe treats you like family and as a result, my parents and sibling and their families also entrust their care with the Blaisdells!

Blaisdell Family Dentistry is a rare combination of top-notch professionalism and down-home friendliness. From the front-office staff, to the dental hygienists and the dentist Craig Blaisdell, my experience has been positive. I started coming here as a result of a friend’s recommendation. Now I recommend this place whenever someone asks and even recommend it to people who don’t ask if it fits into the conversation. The front office staff welcomes me when I walk in and is accommodating if I need to rearrange my appointment. The dental hygienists ask pertinent questions and keep great records and notes as they give me updates on my teeth/gums/mouth issues that reference what they’ve told me in prior visits. I have no idea how they remember so much about me and my wife but being able to discuss things in addition to just the dental issues makes for a pleasant, low-stress experience. I’ve had a couple of hygienists throughout the years as they appear to have low turnover, at least from my own experience. Luckily, I have good teeth/gums so I’ve seen Craig Blaisdell as part of the regular dental process and not for major dental work. My wife has had major dental work and has told me I will be in good hands when I get to that point. So that is reassuring.

When my husband and I travelled for work and moved to Valley County, we changed dentists, but upon returning to Boise in 2019, we returned to Blaisdell Family Dentistry. Dr. Lynn was my original dentist for quite a few years. Loved his banter and smile. Now, his son, Dr. Craig is my dentist. Both are just super. Both are understanding and accommodating of my "dentist fear." They are patient and communicative. As well, I love the extended team. We have been patients of Dr. Craig Blaisdell for several years, after a bad experience with another local dentist. The care we have received has always been stellar for both ongoing maintenance/cleanings and more complex procedures such as crowns and implants. He and his staff are all personable, caring people who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Their office staff have worked with our insurance providers to insure that procedures are covered as much as possible, and do their very best to be flexible with appointment scheduling. I found out fast after not entering a dentist office for fifteen years how a very professional dentist office was ran. Upon entering the office greetings and smiles were abundant, appointment times were punctual. Dr,.Craig and his assistant were spot on what was needed to be done but not pushy at all wanting to do what my desires were and stay within my budgets. They got insurance quotes for me so I knew exactly what my cost would be before hand . In my opinion the hygienists and technicians were some of the best . Dr. Craig was very aware of keeping his work reasonable but meeting my needs. His only shortcoming was telling some humorous jokes that definitely needed some practice!

If I could give Dr. Craig Blaisdell and his wonderful staff ten stars, I would! Prior to discovering "Dr. Craig" at Blaisdell Family Dentistry, I hadn't been to the dentist for over a decade. Needless to say, my mouth was a hot mess! I was very fearful (and embarrassed) to even step foot into a dental office again, but I knew I couldn't put it off any longer, and I needed to do something. After a friend recommended Dr. Craig, I set off for my first appointment with fingers crossed that Blaisdell Family Dentistry would be a good fit. As it turned out, I was absolutely taken back by Dr. Blaisdell's warm, friendly disposition, and his display in utmost professionalism and knowledge. I immediately felt at ease. Dr. Craig is an excellent listener, and he understands those who fear dental work, and the importance of pain management when appropriate. He and his assistant, Patty, did a thorough examination of my mouth and came up with a comprehensive plan to save my smile. Over the last year, they've done just that! I am SO happy with the work he's done and I get compliments on my smile constantly... I am so very grateful for the qualify of his work and their caring expertise! I've been coming to Dr. Blaisdell's office for more than 20 years and even though I've moved far across town years ago, I will still drive to his office due to his service and services. I originally found him when I was new to town after graduating college and needing a dentist. I took a recommendation from a friend and I've been going to Blaisdell Family Dentistry ever since. What I appreciate the most about Dr. B is that I feel that he's genuinely had my best interests and outcomes in mind. He, and the wonderful staff, strive to know me as a person, take interest in what I do, and to pick up that relationship every time I'm in his office. He's always treated me more than fair and I have come to explicitly trust his judgement over our time together (and we've been through a lot!). Dr. B, Dr. Craig, and the entire staff are excellent at what they do and they make my dental visits something I actually look forward to. I'd give far more stars if possible.

My initial impression of the Blaisdell Family Dentistry office was that it is very clean and it doesn't smell like a dentist's office. I've been back many times since and this has always been the case. It's not just the waiting area either, the exam area (or whatever it's called where you sit while you're getting dental work done) is always very clean too. The staff have always been excellent. They greet me when I arrive and they're always friendly and professional. They go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They've been very accommodating of my schedule and they've gone out of their way to handle emergencies on a couple occasions when I had them. Further, each time I've had more involved dental work Dr. Blaisdell has called me later that evening or the next day to check up on me. Everyone there is deeply knowledgeable about their particular area of dentistry (not just the dentists but also the hygienists, the people in the front office, everyone). Anytime I have had a question, whether it was technical or about billing or any other aspect of my dental care they've always given me clear and helpful answers. My dental health is significantly better as a result of being a patient at Blaisdell Family Dentistry. I had regular dental care previously but the quality and thoroughness of care didn't rise to the level I receive here.

I am a newer patient here but I have been thoroughly impressed! The front office staff are friendly and very helpful. The hygienists have been courteous and nice as well. Dr. Blaisdell is amazing! He explained everything he was doing and asked me if I was being treated well and if I was comfortable. I came from another dentist, and the X-rays they took were blurry, so Dr. Blaisdell took new ones and didn’t charge me, since he knew insurance wouldn’t cover it. This a wonderful office and I’d recommend them to anyone!

This is, without question, the best dentist's office I've ever been to. The front office staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. All of the hygienists and assistants are patient and kind and the doctors themselves are caring and thorough. At any point in my care plan they have guided me on options, pros and cons, what to expect, and how best to plan for future care needed. There is never any pressure or "upsell" of services. I had broken a crown and am in the process of getting an implant done through this office. They were able to fit me in for an impromptu checkup after the initial break to make sure I wasn't in pain and the doctor himself even called to check in on me personally after the extraction. If you're looking for a place that will value you as a customer and patient, this is it.

I decided to come to Blaisdell Family Dentistry for a consultation after another dentist completed some (terrible) work and I was having ongoing pain (from fillings and occlusion). Before blaisdell, I received a consultation with one other dentist at a different practice who told me that he did not see any issues, I really felt helpless and knew my insurance was not going to cover any additional work. I would 10000% hands down recommend Blaisdell. I saw Craig and he was so understanding of my situation. He took the time to listen to my issues and then educated me on why I was having those issues. We are now we'll on our way to having me back to baseline without pain. Not only that, but to those who don't have dental insurance or if your dental sucks (like mine), their costs are very affordable and a lot more fair than the other two locations I have tried. Lastly, they really do try to book you into their schedule knowing you're in pain. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING.

My first contact with Blaisdell dentistry was after an accident which left several of my front teeth damaged. It was a holiday weekend and I tried every office in town, and Dr. Craig called me back right away and saw me within half an hour. He recognized the emergency nature of my situation and was very kind and helpful to me in my panicked state. I have seen Dr. Craig and his staff ever since, and they oversaw the health and cosmetic repair of my teeth. Dr. Craig and staff at Blaisdell are exceptional. I have since my youth, avoided dentists except in emergency situations. I have never had a good experience in a dentists office, until I went to Blaisdell Family Dentistry. I recently had one of those must do situations. I went to Blaisdell because an aquaintance told me they were "good guys". I just completed my third crown and could not be happier. From day one they put me at ease and explained what was happening every step of the way. They are very friendly in a relaxed atmosphere, which in turn helped me to be more relaxed (I have always had a fear of dental work). These people are great. I have been going to Blaisdell Family Dentistry for over 5 years. My previous dentist had retired and I was dreading finding a new dentist. My wife recommended Blaisdell Dentistry. She had started with the grandfather years back and has since been seen by both Lynn and Craig. The relationship between physician and patient is very unique. I want a long lasting relationship with someone I can trust and will care for me and care about me. The staff and doctors go out of their way to make me the patient, and me the person comfortable. Dr. Lynn Blaisdell saved my life, 16 years ago! He understood that I was not a fan of mouth pain and has always provided means necessary to make my visits as comfortable as possible. His services are vast and all of them excellent. The staff is exemplary and empathetic; so personable and I have only good things to say about them. Sandra who cleans my teeth is my favorite but don't tell Dr. B... ;D They are flexible on payment schedules and work well with insurance companies. The office is spotless, friendly, good location and up on all the latest technology. YES, I would recommend Blaisdell Family Dentistry 100%. When I first came to them in July 2018, with a fear of all dentist, Dr. Blaisdell gave me a 2 hour consultation, and explained every possible detail and showed me video's of what he could do for me. I was looking at getting dental implants, and after all was said and done, we decided on getting a new denture for the top that fit properly, and a snap on denture for the lower. So we begun the process in Sept. 2018 and I had surgery Oct 2018 (my surgery involved low teeth extractions, and two posts put in place for snap on). It is a process, to get used to the new lower denture and going back and forth to the dentist weekly. In Jan. 2019 I had another surgery to add 2 more post on the lower jaw, for me it will secure my snap on in where I will not have to worry about denture creams or it coming out unless I remove it. I am smiling more today than I was that first visit in July, and I couldn't be more happier with all the results and how far I have come with my new smile. I love it. I am still going through the healing process, and by July I should be 100% finished. Now none of this would of never been possible if Dr. Blaisdell and his amazing crew as they made me feel very comfortable from day one, and everything I have gone through is exactly what Dr. Blaisdell had told me. When I come in there office its like we are all family, and everyone is so nice and takes the time to listen and understand how you feel, and ask how your day is, that means as much to me as the dental work being done. If you have a fear of dentist, or worried about the quality of work I recommend you give Dr. Blaisdell Family Dentistry a call they are truly amazing and honestly I smile all the time and I am so much more confident when I go out. I have been a patient at Blaisdell Family Dentistry for approx. 15 years. I had been terrified of seeing a dentist and was in need of a LOT of work. It has been an amazing transformation not only with my teeth and gums, but my attitude as well. I required a lot of hand holding and strong medication in the beginning. Now I am finally able to go to the dentist without sedation or strong drugs. While I still could need medication for any "big jobs" I might need in the future, I am now able to get the normal teeth cleanings with just nitrous oxide and the gentle hands of Sandra (perhaps the most patient dental hygienist in the treasure valley if not the entire state!). The entire team has made me feel safe and welcome. From the ladies that greet me and welcome me each time I walk in the door, to the staff in the back that swing by to ask how I am doing, I feel important and part of the family. I honestly believe that I would have never made it this far with out Dr. Blaisdell, Sandra and the entire team. Not to mention I still have my teeth and they are all healthy!

Hello, my name is Jason and I have been going to Blaisdell Family Dentistry for 5 years. My family and I have received outstanding care during wisdom tooth extractions, root canals, fillings, cleanings, and debridement. To the point that he has panic attacks and refuses to go until something is seriously wrong... like needing extractions... we had to sedate him in order to get him through the front door. After just a few visits he was able to go to the office without medication and didn't have anxiety attacks. I attribute this to the fact that Dr. Blaisdell scheduled a meeting with him first where they just chatted and got to know each other and didn't even look in his mouth the first appointment.
