Great service! Staff are professional, warm, welcoming, and friendly. Would highly recommend you to make an appointment there. Everyone was so gentle that I felt extremely comfortable and safe. They talked me through what they were going to use on me and made sure I was okay throughout the entire process. I can’t thank the staff enough for such an amazing experience They even came outside to take care off me and helped me to remain calm when my car wouldn’t start and I was stuck outside of the office for hours. 10/10 !! 👍🏼

The most pleasant and I dare say, enjoyable, dental experience I can remember. All staff, including desk personnel, were kind and patient with my anxiety and pain. Great dentist, great assistant. Everyone was nice, and the procedures were explained clearly and concisely. I just got one tooth filled 4 hours ago, and I’m eating and drinking with no issues whatsoever. Best thing is, Dr. Macbeth must have hands as steady as a professional buzz wire player. I’m afraid of needles, but I felt nothing when he injected anesthesia in my gum. Definitely recommended.

I had the best experience here. I had an emergency and they were able to take me same day. Kathy, Twyla, and Dr. Macbeth we’re the most caring, non-judgemental dental team I have ever encountered. I visited Shades Creek dentist today for the first time and my experience was absolutely AMAZING!!! From the moment I walked in until the time I left was nothing short of amazing. This facility is very clean and the staff was amazing. Everyone was very nice and very attentive. The receptionist(Kathy), my dental hygienist (Lindsay) and Dr Macbeth all made me feel very comfortable. Lindsay is the best hygienist I’ve ever had. She listens to me, answered all my questions and made sure I knew everything I need to know once I went home. I absolutely love her and hope I can get her on my next visit in 2 weeks. This was hands down the MOST THOROUGH dental exam I’ve EVER had!! I was looking for a new dentist because my old one wasn’t a good fit for me anymore and I’m so glad I chose Shades Creek. Now I’m considering switching my children to this dentist as well!!!

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. Extremely nice facility- they have screens on the ceiling so you can see what they’re doing. Very thorough (checked for oral cancer masses, did X-rays for cavities and to ensure no cysts and bone recession, checked my gums for level or recession, etc.) but do not do unnecessary things that cost you, thank goodness! My husband and I went at separate times and he had an equally as great of an experience. The staff is so friendly and eased my anxiety. They walked me through what they were doing and explained it well. They also went above and beyond working with my insurance company. My teeth were cleaned so well! Could not recommend them enough!!

I was extremely satisfied with the care and treatment that I received at Shades Creek Dental. When I walk in the door I was warmly greeted by two very nice ladies at the front desk. The Dental Assistant/Dental Hygienist, Twilla Jackson greeted me shortly after I arrived and escorted me to a room. She did the preliminary work and then Dr Macbeth arrived. He was very courteous and professional and made me feel relaxed and at ease. It was determined that I would need two tooth extractions and two bone grafts to prepare for implants. Dr Macbeth and Twilla did an awesome job and with practically no pain experienced. The entire staff was a very cohesive team and it was obvious they all liked their jobs. I will be returning to Shades Creek Dental for crowns after the implants are in place. I highly recommend Shades Creek Dental if you are searching for a dentist in the Birmingham area.

I had a great first visit. I am excited for my next appointment. The office itself is new construction and beautifully designed. Kathy at the front desk reached out immediately after I completed my new patient forms online. She followed up with me again to work me in their schedule before the holidays. Rhonda was the best hygienist I have ever had. Her cleaning was through and even included a gum massage. She was also made sure to explain everything that she was doing. Dr. Macbeth was very nice. He is using the newest technology to provide the best service. You can also tell that he treats his staff with respect.

For the first time in over 30 years I had to find a new dentist when mine retired. I am so happy to have found Shades Creek Dental. Very modern equipment with the latest technology and a staff that made me feel welcome and comfortable from the very first time I called. Shades Creek Dental is LEGIT. As someone with a lot of anxiety around dentistry, this place is incredible. Everyone is so kind and so warm. Their equipment is state of the art and spotlessly clean. This was my first time at this facility and I absolutely loved my experience. The hygienist was really sweet and talked to me every step of the way. I got in and out in a timely manner. No wait time. I was originally scheduled to come in on a later date but I asked them to put me on the wait list to come in sooner , and they were able to get me in the following day I made the request. New patient forms are explained thoroughly and I didn’t have to rewrite anything.

I made an appointment here after seeing good reviews, and looking through their website. From the very first call I made to book an appointment I was amazed. They have a beautiful new office and state of the art equipment to go along with very kind and qualified staff. Dr. Macbeth is very talented and goes above and beyond. His office is new and has amazing technology. The chairs are very comfortable with temperpedic padding and he has monitors mounted on the ceiling so you can interact during checkups. The hygienist was gentle and efficient. During the entire encounter everything was explained very well and they made sure I understood the plan. You will not be disappointed if you choose Shades Creek.

From the hygienist all the way to Dr. MacBeth, they listened to my concerns, and went out of their way to make sure I was heard. Even after my procedure, the staff follow-up was incredible. I asked them to follow up one month later to talk about the outstanding treatment plan, and they called exactly 30 days later. When I asked them for an additional 30 days, they didn’t question a thing. I am the type of person who needs persistence, but hates pestering. Shades Creek Dental provided the perfect balance for me. I loved the fact that it's a pretty small office so they don't schedule a bunch of people at once, and everyone is warm and friendly. I've been to places that felt like an assembly line, and this didn't feel that way at all - everyone had plenty of time to chat, answer my questions, and make me feel comfortable. Fillings and crowns are never pleasant, but Dr. Macbeth and his staff did a great job making it as positive experience as possible. The equipment/technology they use is really amazing and made my dental work a lot easier. Instead of having a dental mold made and the crown taking two weeks, they scanned my mouth and made the crown in office the same day. That alone saved me so much time and energy. If you need a dentist, no matter where you live, this is the place to be. The fact that as soon as I walked through the door, Kathy knew who I was and greated me by name despite never actually meeting me before tells you the level of care and detail in your experience. They were very concise and prompt about everything they did. You are kept fully aware through every single step of the procedures so much that they are actually teaching you about your teeth. You are encouraged to ask questions along the way so you can fully understand and deepen your learning for proactive care in the future. Rhonda was fantastic at facilitating this. A valuable asset for sure. The facility itself is nothing less than cutting edge. So cutting edge that in every attempt they will reduce the total amount of visits and time spent in the chair in total (as they understand going to the dentist is not typically the top of the list for most people). There’s even a screen on the ceiling so, if you wish to, you can watch and see everything that is happening while they explain it. It is like being at a 5* hotel- but at a dentist. Not sure I could ever imagine an oxymoron such as this, but Dr. MacBeth and his team have accomplished this. Thank you, congrats, and keep up the great work! - update 10/4/19 These guys are not only the best, but consistent! Kathy was always smiling and positive at the at the front desk and made sure everything was totally understood so far as billing and working with the insurance. It was great to catch up with Rhonda again who is so personable and professional in what she does. Thank you! I had multiple treatments that day - and I was DONE IN 3 hours - including a bunch of fillings and 2 crowns (which they made there and then!) and Shana and Dr MacBeth worked like clockwork to get it done, while having fun at the same time! The next day I often didnt realise I had it all done as my teeth just felt normal - totally not what I expected. The work is phenomenal!
