This is the most wonderful dental office I’ve ever been to. I have a lot of past dental experience trauma - and I was absolutely terrified to have a tooth extracted this morning. Sheri at the front desk, Dr. Bates, and her assistant Daisy were so kind and attentive to my needs and made sure I felt safe and comfortable. The entire time I was there, I was reassured and Daisy literally held my hand throughout my procedure. I have never been treated so kindly by any doctor or dental staff EVER. This place is a gem. They also have an outstanding package for a year of dental cleanings and care you can purchase for a super reasonable cost if you are without dental insurance like so many of us are. Bottom line - if you have dental phobias because of past experiences, THIS IS THE OFFICE FOR YOU. Absolutely hands down the best experience I could’ve hoped for. They gained a patient for life with me. Thank you Dr. Bates and Daisy in particular - you two are my dream team!! 😭😍❤️

Wonderful experience. Staff from the reception area to Dr wood went above and beyond making me feel welcomed and comfortable. Hygienist made it a priority to ensure I felt at ease and was not experiencing any pain or discomfort. She explained everything she was doing in detail. She told me about other services that were available without me feeling pressured to commitment at this time. Check-in and check-out was very smooth and streamlined. I did not have to wait nor did I feel it was a rushed experience at any point. Highly recommend!

Brittani the dental hygienist was excellent. Everything went smoothly, she informed of every step. Dr. Wood was kind and checked to make sure I didn't have any signs of oral cancer and asked if I had any additional questions regarding my oral health. Nice clean facility with great staff. Everyone goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable throughout the whole visit. They offer blankets, water, headphones, massage chair…amazing. I like the estimate up front when you need something done. I have been going here for years and never had a visit that was less then 5 stars.

What a great office!! I have been a parient here for just over 3 years, the people are nice, professional and the appointments are always on time!! Dr. Duncan gives the best shots and has a great sense of humor. Dr. Andrews is also very professional and gentle when he is working in your mouth. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

Walking in for the first time, I immediately felt comfortable. The staff was kind and listened to my concerns. They answered all of my questions and gave great recommendations. Heated massage chairs were definitely a plus for someone who gets anxious at the dentist!

Came in for myself after sitting with my girlfriend through a root canal that Dr Duncan performed, which was a really cool experience, he was very informative and comforting, great to say the least. I had a good cleaning experience with Lisa and then found out I needed a crown to replace an old one. Dr. Duncan and his assistant took care of this. Everything was done with much care and explanation of procedures. The dental professionals in this office are gentle and make it so that no one should be afraid to go to the dentist.

My kids canceled my appointment the day before when a reminder text came through as they were playing on my phone. I came in for an exam and cleaning and to set up help for a couple of problematic molars with old fillings. The front desk staff greeted me warmly and gave me a tour of the office. The office is beautiful and extremely clean. Elizabeth did a great job of preparing me for treatment, putting me at ease and doing x-rays, and Michelle did a wonderful job of cleaning my teeth. Both women were very caring and wanted to ensure that I was comfortable. Dr. Duncan was very nice and explained the next steps for my care very well. Oh, and I love the videos of the ocean and soft instrumental music. It's so soothing! 5 stars!! I will be back!

I have had horrible fear of dentistry due to past experience with not so good doctors/assistants but man I can confidently say this place is nothing like you’ve ever experienced before the ladies are all so nice you feel like family. The standard of care here is remarkable I have never experienced anything like it. They even go out of there way to keep you comfortable mentally, physically, and emotionally! They worked really hard on working out payment plans for me due to not having insurance and made sure to only do what I authorized. They listened to my issues and were so helpful with all my questions. It’s obvious the second you walk in the door they are there to help you and not hurt you. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

If i could rate higher I would ..! From the time I walked out .. I felt the hospitality in the place .. My DA was so amazing !!! She properly introduced me to everybody that walked in that room with us ..! I didn’t feel uncomfortable being African American which I have at many other places … they did everything to make me feel as comfortable, offered coffee and water upon arrival …. There’s fluffy blankets offered which I definitely took advantage of LOL … I even got a little Welcome goodie bag …. I know i will be with this dentist for a very long time

My wife and I have NEVER had a dental experience as awesome as this. From the moment we walked through the door to the time we left it was an elevated experience. The Hygienist was gentle and informative. The doctor was clearly interested in giving me complete information and was not in a hurry. I was taken on a quick tour and was blown away by the technology and the capability of everything that can be done within minutes. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The staff is fantastic! I've been coming for years. Today I brought my 2yr old for her 1st appointment today. From the receptionist providing us a private room to complete paperwork(without request) to my hygienist switching around her schedule so she could see both of us so my daughter could stay with me, they did either could to ensure she had a fun visit. Rhonda and Cooper blew up gloves to make ballons and Jennifer gave her toys and switched the schedule around. Thank you for always going to extra mile!

I saw Dr Wood for four fillings in the front and she and her assistant were both great with me! They were both gentle and quick too. Dr Wood did excellent on the numbing injections I barely felt them at all and had zero soreness the next day... she even called me on her off day to check on me! Love this place!!

As a new patient there was a welcome bag with my name on it waiting for me in their private consulting room. Yet again another great experience! The minute you walk in your are greeted with a warm welcome and from start to finish the whole thing is nice. From the calming environment of the rooms to the atmosphere. Kaitlyn and Maria were great. They were so sweet and they explained things to me so I understood what was happening, why, and what to do moving forward. One thing I like about this office is that you can tell they aren’t out to get you to spend a lot of money on pointless things or just for the hell of it. They go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of for the long run and genuinely care about your dental hygiene and health!

I’m so blessed they were able to accommodate me! Dr. Andrews is wonderful and his assistant Brenda is a gem! They were able to make my crown in house and place it in all on one visit! Now that’s something I’ve never experienced before! I’ll be back for sure!

There's not too much to say about Gooch Dental because it is simply top-class and filled with high performing individuals. After you first walk in, they do the best they can to make you feel comfortable and also give you a tour of the building. Hope gave me my tour and was wonderful. There are many free refreshments that they offer for their guests as well. Rhonda was my dental hygienist and she is the sweetest person ever. She made sure that all the procedures I went through were comfortable and safe and also did a top-notch job with my teeth. Anna Brooke at the check-out desks was great as well. Hopefully I don't travel too far away over the years because I would definitely like to make this location my main dentist office.

Not only is Dr. Gooch a great dentist, but him and ALL his office staff from the front reception to the check out area are so nice and go above and beyond! They are so kind to my husband with his ever changing schedule, and the kids and all their cavities have been no problem. Thank you Dr. Duncan and Ashley for an awesome dental experience. I had 3 fillings replaced. Dr. Duncan removed the silver amalgams and replaced them with white fillings. I love how natural they look now. Dr. Duncan has a very gentle touch and great chair side manner. He is uplifting with a great personality. His assistant Ashley was very informative and friendly. She made sure I was comfortable in the dental chair. By the way, the patient treatment chairs have warming and massage options. The total experience at this practice from the time you walk in until the time you leave is excellent. Check this practice out if you want a dentist that takes time to listen, cares about people, and does excellent work.

Being that I haven't been to the dentist in a few years due to fear of dentistry, I must say that this team has really exceeded my expectations! Every member of Gooch family dental cares for your well being. From the moment I stepped through the door I felt like I was important to them. Because I haven't been to the dentist in a while I needed some pretty extensive work done, root canal and crown. Dr. Gooch himself was very kind during the entire root canal process and performed the procedure very quickly! He even took the time to explain the procedure and educate his staff as he was going through the process. Dr. Andrew's then performed my crown, and I can tell you these doctors are exceptional in their field! They both made sure that I had no pain at all through the entire procedure. Abbey, the dental assistant was hands down amazing in her role, very smart, educated and caring when it came to what was put in front of her. Maggie, the financial person who helped me with my case, was exceptional, caring and very involved in trying to find the best cost outcomes for the work I needed done. That all being said, and this being a very lengthy review, I highly recommend this dental office! They will make sure that you are comfortable and provide you with the best patient care available.

Gorgeous place, with lots of amenities to relax you if you're prone to nerves at a dentist office. Techs and doctors incredibly nice and welcoming. Came in for a cleaning and to get a wisdom tooth checked out and only waited briefly before going back to a room and getting started. Scheduled my appointment quickly and even had the option to fill out my information on the patient portal before the appointment and didn't have anything to fill out when I got there. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend them!

I have never had a more enjoyable visit to a dentist. When I first got in the gave me a tour of the office it felt like I had just booked a fancy vacation. They have snacks and drinks for you as you wait and every room has tvs with beautiful ocean vistas. It doesn't end there while I was waiting they brought me a gift bag and told me about their special prices where I could get an exam and x-rays for only $49 even without insurance. Of course the staff was super sweet and amazing and they go in depth about your teeth and break it down for you about what work needs to be done and why you need it. I can't recommend this place more.

I finally found a dentist that puts my extreme dental anxiety at ease. Dr. Andrews and his staff are nothing short of amazing in regards to patient care. Rhonda was my hygienist and took her time explaining everything and also has a fabulous sense of humor. I’m not exaggerating when I say my fear of the dentist is off the charts and the entire staff has a way of making you feel comfortable and safe. The dental chairs gently massage your back while your dental work is being performed. Adding to the ambiance are large screen TVs with stunning displays of serene waterfalls, beautiful beaches and relaxing rivers. If they offered Martinis & Manicures I’d be there every week! After my appointment two of the friendliest faces, Gionna & Jenni, explained everything in detail upon check out and filed the necessary paperwork for insurance. I didn’t know customer service at this level still existed. I am quite impressed by this entire staff. Bravo!

So nice and caused me no pain! Dr. Gooch is great too. I decided to use the oral sedation for my procedures and I wasn't sure how well it would work but it did and I would highly recommend it if you have a"dental fear". Dr. Gooch explained it all to me and answered my questions. I've held off on writing a review until I was sure about this dental practice but I'm sure... everyone I've encountered at this office has just been really professional and nice and I would highly recommend!

They actually fitted it with out using molds and procuced it right there in a couple of hours. I have never seen anything so advanced. My crown fit absolutely perfectly on the first try. My first visit was a great experience. Hanna at the front desk was super nice as was the rest of the staff. Hanna gave me a tour the facility, which contains high tech, state of the art equipment in a very welcoming environment. I have personally had bad experiences with dentists and I had a dental office drop my son as a patient because I canceled 2 appointments (the first was when my dad had a chemo appt I was unable to reschedule as I took him and the other was when he passed away). So I am a little wary when trying somewhere new. I had seen Gooch Family Dental when driving down 119 and thought we would give it a try. I was simply BLOWN away from the first moment I walked in the door! They gave us a tour, offered us water and snacks, and they even gave my son a personalized card and gift for his first visit. Michael had to have some unexpected treatments today and they were so kind and knowledgeable truly putting both my son and myself at ease! The dental hygienist was wonderful, kind, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. I didn’t speak with Dr. Andrews but my son only had positive things to say about him. I know without a doubt not only will this be where he goes but where I will start going myself. I hadn’t even left and had already told my sister she needs to make her an appointment as well since she was looking for a new dentist. Thanks for being a great dental office and helping to ease my son’s anxiety as well as mine!

Kelly greeted and gave me a quick tour of the office which was great and also helped take a bit of the nervousness away.. There was also a slight problem with my insurance which Paige and two of the ladies from the front were awesome about handling. My husband unexpectedly came down with a toothache that resulted in the left side of his face swelling up over night. He was in tons of pain & was supposed to fly out of state for business later that day. We found Dr. Gooch online & they were able to get in him first thing. They took excellent care of him & even followed up with him after hours to check on him. Because he had such a great experience, I went to them for my regular cleaning yesterday. From entering the office you’re greeted by sweet Ashlyn, given a full facility wide tour that shows you the Rosemary Beach theme and exquisite customer service from beginning to end! The waiting rooms are spa like with soft music & white noise to privacy as well as the serene tv screens. You’re greeted by your hygienist to go over any concerns or issues you may be having and then taken to your own private cleaning area. Everything goes seemlessly from there! Sarah was my hygienist and she was absolutely wonderful. She was gentle and thorough and ensured I was in great care! Breath of fresh air and was gentle start to finish! Massage chairs, heated seats, and blankets to accommodate any client! Dr. Andrews came by to ensure everything checked out perfectly and I was all set until my next visit. I can’t wait to go back!! My hygienist, Michelle, was absolutely phenomenal and very knowledgeable about ever single issue I questioned her about. I've been seeing dentists regularly all my life. I can honestly say my experience with Gooch Family Dental was the best I've ever had. The front staff was warm, friendly and quite outgoing. My hygienist was Michelle and I've never had a more attentive one. She explained things to me that I had never understood before. From explaining the X-Rays to the actual photos of my teeth, it was a great learning experience. I also got a sticker for being a good brusher! When Dr. Gooch came in, he and Michelle both engaged me in discussions about my teeth. Before examine, he took the time to explain what he was looking for and how he would be doing his exam. I've never had that from a Dentist. When I left the front staff again was quite helpful and even made sure I didn't have any remaining questions. My wife is already a patient, but were sending our kids next week.

We took time to develop a plan that would help me feel comfortable getting much-needed work done that I had procrastinated on due to fear. The combination of their professionalism, education, and amenities for comfort (I used nitrous and did very well), made the experience actually pleasant. TLDR: I had a minor panic attack over a cavity, they handled it really well. Went in today, got a cavity filled and for whatever reason the stress of having a cavity filled on top of 2020 stress just pushed me over the edge. My mind had me convinced that my tongue was about to get torn up. Had them pull everything out, told them my concern, took a couple deep breaths and got back to it. Dr. Andrew's and the woman assisting him didn't make me feel awkward about it and were incredibly friendly the entire time. If you have high anxiety over going to the dentist this is the place for you.

I've been seeing Dr. Gooch for a long time. I love Dr. Gooch and most of his staff. Of course I understand that business is about making money, but it seems like it has gotten a little out of control here...just saying. Update...I had to reschedule my latest appointment. When I called, I was told that had to call within 48 hours of the appointment time in order to avoid the missed appointment fee. When I pointed out that I was well beyond the req'd 48 hrs, she told me that that fee would be waived, but I would have to pay a $150 deposit to reserve my appointment time! I am currently looking for a new dentist! I have found Lisa Wilson and she is great! I got this email asking me to vote to best "Cosmetic Dentist" and best "Adult Dentist" ...so I clicked the link to cast my vote and it told me I was done, "Thanks for Casting my vote", but I didn't get to. It filled it in for me and I was not going to vote for Gooch! Not a legitimate win or a real opportunity to vote!

Okay first off, I usually rarely ever leave reviews but what I experienced today with each of the staff at GFD has been above and beyond my expectations! First starting with Hannah (I think that’s her name... she’s the receptionist/greeter). She greeted me with the warmest smile and gave me a tour around the dentist office and offered me a welcome gift. Then I was given an exam by one of the dental hygienists (ughhhh why can’t I remember her name? I can categorize her by having braces though) followed by Dr. Berry “the guy with the awesome hair that used to be long.” Everything about my experience from the entrance to leaving was exceptional! The financial coordinators gave me a steep bill (lol!) but they were so nice! Then I had a teeth cleaning with Stephanie! Omfg! She’s my girl! Literally one of the sweetest people I’ve met in a long time! AND she knew where my hometown is located (Brewton,AL) so we had a great discussion about the good catfish place they have there. Needless to say I will be returning and recommending this office to any and everyone! I want to start off by saying I use to hate the dentist with a passion. I grew up in a small town where there wasn't a large variety of dentists to choose from. My family dentist was nice but if you went in to see him he would make you feel so guilty for having a cavity. It always felt uncomfortable and which is one of the reasons I would always avoid the dentist. I was referred to Dr. Goochs office and all I could think about was my old dentist and how I was going to dread going to see him. The moment I walked in the front desk girl had a smile and said you must be Stephen. Every person I encountered there had a smile on their face and said hey to me. I could tell everyone there loved their job. I saw Dr. Gooch and we got a plan together of what needed to be done. Dr. Warren is also amazing she did my crown. I felt no judgment from anyone there I loved the atmosphere. After it was done I went home with some pain medication that didn't help with the pain. I called them and they asked for me to come in for a steroid shot and I was happy to do anything to get the pain to stop. I went in and Dr. Gooch gave me the shot. They are going to be closed for New years and Dr. Gooch told me if I was still in pain during new years to call him and he gave me his personal cell phone number. Dr. Gooch and his staff are amazing at every thing they do. If you are looking for a dentist I highly recommend Dr. Gooch, and his staff.

Dr. Gooch is a great dentist. The administrative side of his office is not so great. They refuse to file claims to secondary insurance, instead sending statements of service to the patient (customer) to figure out an file for themselves. We will be going to a different dentist, as many others will happily file primary and secondary insurance claims.

This is the best dentist office in experience I have ever had. I went into the office with low self-esteem due to the incompletion of my teeth implants. I had seen about 5 dentist in the last 3 years to complete my teeth implants due to the original dentist that placed then the implants leaving moving from Birmingham. That's when I met my teeth hero dr. Berry. Not one time did he made me feel insecure about the shape of my teeth but he assured me that I will get my smile back. The other 5 dentist offices I visited prior made me feel insecure and dread going to The dentist. The assistant Dee came in for a blood pressure check and found out that I had high blood pressure up to 189. shs was so lind, by bring me drink and a snack to make sure my personal health was okay and made me feel special.At this time I was within my postpartum stage due to recently having a baby about 3 weeks prior. Dr. Berry and Dee urged me to call my OBGYN, and after my hesitation and their persistence. I called my OBGYN who told me to rush to the ER as soon as possible. If it had not been for my visit and for them running a blood pressure and urging me to call and check on my personal health I would not have known why I felt so dizzy and lightheaded. The front office is awesome the financial Manager worked with me responded to emails in a timely manner and they made my experience Awesome . They have top technology they always make you feel comfortable and considering that I have been to 5 dentists in the last 3 years I have never had this type of experience. I am no lomfer intimated to go to the dentist.Thank you to my teeth Heroes for bringing back my self-esteem and giving me my smile back. You are all truly blessings.

I had my first appointment at Dr. Burton Gooch Family & Cosmetic Dentistry yesterday, and I have to say that I was AMAZED at the level of service. I am a bit of a germophobe (more of a dirt-ophobe), and I always let my hygienists know this at the beginning of an office visit. I have had people become rude and offended. That was NOT my experience at Dr. Gooch's office. Everyone, from the people who greeted me at the front desk, to the hygientist, to Dr. Warren, I mean EVERYONE I was introduced to was extremely courteous, friendly, professional, and solicitous. I repeat, I was AMAZED. They obviously make customer service and satisfaction a priority. I have great teeth, but I've usually had someone at most dentist offices that I've visited in the past attempt to sell me something. Once again, Dr. Gooch's office was different. I was not pressured to have my wisdom teeth taken out. I was not pressured to buy their whitening system or special toothpaste or mouth rinse. In fact, I left with a new patient welcome letter and gift, the usual dental goodie bag, and a Mother's Day gift. I will say again, I was AMAZED. I had to gush, but they really deserve this gushing. I seriously doubt that you could visit this office and not be pleased with the customer service. I'm new to the area, and I kinda want them to recommend someone for every service that I might need because obviously they know a lot about keeping customers happy. The only drawback is their office is kinda out in Boofoo (for me), but they are WORTH the drive and I will not go anywhere else!!
