We have had good experiences with Dr. Campbell. My child is a fairly new patient, but, so far, Dr. Campbell does not seem to be too heavy handed on procedures. I appreciate that, as I felt that our last dentist always had some sort of new procedure that she wanted to do.

I'm so grateful for Dr. Campbell and his team! We came across him on a holiday weekend in an emergency with my son. He knew exactly what we needed after just a few questions, and sent the prescription through. We scheduled an appointment as soon as we could get on his calendar. It was my son's first trip to the dentist and he made my 3 yr old feel comfortable and confident. My boy isn't known for sitting still for long. I don't know how Dr. Campbell did it, but I can say he's great at what he does. His team along with Flossy makes for a great trip to the dentist. I look forward to many more trip to his Office.

We had a lovely experience at Dr. Campbell’s office. I had been putting off taking my 4 year old with sensory processing trouble to the dentist due to fear of meltdowns and developing negative associations with dentistry. Dr. Campbell and his staff were so patient and kind. They explained everything to my son prior to the exam and made sure he was comfortable. They were also very knowledgeable and provided tips for sensory kids regarding dental care. I highly recommend this practice!

We absolutely love Dr Campbell and his entire staff! My daughter has severe dental anxiety after some bad trips to the dentist. She had teeth that HAD to come out and we could not afford the anesthesia route. He got them out and now she doesn't even mind going to the dentist. We have had two trips since then for fillings and she has done wonderfully. My son loves them as well. Flossy the bunny is also a bonus and the kids love her! Highly recommend.

We were out of town and called our local ped dentist. With after hours, it kicked us over to Dr. Campbell, well we couldn't have been luckier! Our son had a bad fall and chipped a few front teeth. Dr. Campbell's calming and reassuring tone helped us treat our son from far away, and then quickly scheduled us for an office visit once we got back to Asheville. He is all better now! I remain impressed by Dr. Campbell and the staff for their amazing compassion to help my son through this experience, not to mention me. Thank you to all. We will be back for our regular cleanings!

Dr Campbell and his team are the best pediatric dentist in town!! They get my two daughters in and out within a half hour! I never have to wait, they are so efficient, friendly, genuine, courteous, I could just go on and on. I am so grateful to have found such a good dentistry team for my girls. When one of my kids was a baby we had to go to the big pediatric dentist group in town for a special treatment (not Dr. Campbell team) and I had to wait well over an hour each time we went. I can not stress enough how quickly they get you in and out while still providing such good care.

When leaving Dr. Campbell’s office yesterday I thought about how grateful I am for having selected Dr. Campbell and his team to treat our daughter many, many years ago. She is now in college and it’s been great for her to see the same dentist for 15 years. He is so friendly and great with the kids. He has a wonderful team and all are great with the kids too. Just an all around great staff and 'going to the dentist' experience! The office is clean and spacious, they have a great system of never overbooking and having patients wait and everyone is kind and personable and willing to talk kids through their visits. I was with Dr Campbell my entire life. We lived an hr and a half away and still insisted on being with him no matter what. I remember being heartbroken when I turned 18 and couldn't go anymore. My boys have been going to Dr. Campbell for 12 years, and he was the only dentist my niece ever went to as well. I love all the staff and how they handle their jobs! I’ve taken a young family member to another dentist with his mother this past year and was shocked at the difference in how children were treated at a different pediatric dentist. They are NOT all the same. Dr. Campbell is the only one I would recommend.

We love Dr Campbell! Our 8 year old (back then) had to get some cavities filled and one tooth removed. The dentist before Dr Campbell did not want to try to do it without gas, which I didn’t want. I called Dr Campbell’s office and they said they are not using gas. That statement told me that Dr Campbell must be experienced in a painless technique to give kids injections. Our first appointment was removing his tooth, it was sooo fast and just like i thought he had a technique in giving kids injections, because my son did not flinch at all. We went back twice more to get the fillings done both times he had injections and never flinched. He truly is a great dentist and he is also teaching my son that no matter what you have to get done at the dentist, it is not scary and does not have to be painful. I also had a great experience with my toddler. When she was 2 we had Dr Campbell check her teeth. She wasn’t really having it but Dr Campbell was patient with her. We went back again (she is now 3) and she didn’t move one bit. Ms Flossy helped as well! I also wanted to say that the staff is AMAZING as well, from the dental assistants/hygienists to the front desk staff. Thank you Dr Campbell and Team!

We love Dr Campbell and his staff! He has had the same people working with him since my 15 year old daughter started going there as a toddler. Everyone is so nice and treats us like we are their only patients. Dr Campbell is really good with kids. I have heard that in some offices, parents are not allowed to go back to the treatment room with their kids. This is not the case at Dr Campbell's office. We always feel welcome there. I would never go anywhere else!!

Dr. Campbell took my call even though the office was closed (weekend). He was able to provide my 6 year old son with an antibiotic to help with the infection he had. They saw him at the office on Monday despite a full schedule. Despite my son's sensory issues they were able to keep him calm and cooperative. Nothing short of miraculous as he ended up needing to have a tooth extracted. This is an absolutely fantastic practice and I highly recommend it.

My daughters' dental needs were moved to this practice in 2013 after a dental accident that broke my oldest daughter's front permanent tooth. My daughter has been to Dr. Campbell’s office from the time she had her first tooth! He is so paitent with her. He explains everything from the tools to his gloves to put the child at ease. The staff is great too! We are always greeted with a smile and we always get a thank you for coming in! We go every 6 months and my daughter actually gets excited for the dentist! I was actually running late for an appointment because of traffic and I called to say I would be 10 minutes late, instead of canceling my appointment the lady simply said I will let them know you are running late take your time sweetie and be careful! From the moment you walk in the door, the experience is wonderful. The waiting room is calming and full of interesting toys, although we've never had to wait more than five minutes. The staff is kind and friendly. The hygienists are welcoming and gentle, and De. Campbell is patient and thorough. He moves slowly and carefully with the children, letting them see his blue gloves and explaining everything he's using and doing each step of the way. Even then, we're always out of the door quickly! I drive all the way from Mars Hill just to continue bringing my children to see Dr. Campbell and his wonderful staff.

Dr. Campbell and all his staff are wonderful! Several years ago, I decided to transfer my son from Dr. Campbell to a local dentist. I was having to drive over an hour to his office and thought the local dentist could provide the same services for my son. I was completely wrong. The local dentist was not very understanding of my sons anxiety and actually caused his fear of dentists to increase. I called and made another appointment with Dr. Campbell and he has been so understanding and patient with my son while we try to work through his anxiety. I will not change my sons dentist again! I always feel welcome when I walk in their office and I'm also welcome to sit in the exam room with my son. This is a tremendous help with his anxiety!

Dr campbell was my dentist and now he is my kids dentist. He is a great dentist and a good man. He is plain spoken, in a good way, and down to earth. The office staff is good and most have been there for as long as my kids have been going. We went to dentists before him, and some kids dentist just chase money, we had one tell us our son had several cavities and my son would need sedation for the work...we went to Dr campbell, thankfully, for a second opinion and my son had one small one. Dr campbell is a dentist you can trust, not all are trustworthy. Dr campbell is. And he did my daughter's braces with invisalign, amazing!!! Can't say enough good things about this office. We have been going 14 years and counting.

Dr. Campbell is an exceptional dentist! When we first started with his practice, my Daughter had fallen down and pushed two of her front teeth in. It was a distressing time for us and his calm demeanor instilled confidence not only for me personally, but also for my daughter who was probably two or three at the time. He realigned her teeth and placed a temporary wire for support, and from that point on she loved this man who helped her to feel better, not only physically, but also mentally. From that point on she would look forward to seeing the man she called in her little girl's voice, the "Doctors Dentist." My son was terrified. It was just a simple cavity but the other dentist wanted to put him to sleep. He was only 3. Dr.Campbell let me go back with my son, fixed the cavity right there and my son didn’t even cry. My daughter has been another story. Despite the kindness of the office staff she screamed bloody murder and even bit Dr. Campbell however they were all very gracious and here we are 4-5 years later and she says she likes the dentist lol. This is fully because they were patient with her and let her get comfortable. Some dentist won’t let parents come back after the child is 5, Dr.Campbell does unless it’s better for the child to go alone but I’m thankful they give you the option. I have referred 2 friends to his office who have both started taking their children to Dr.Campbell. I was actually a referral myself. I saw a friends post about how much they loved Dr.Campbell so we went ourselves. We’ve been very pleased.

The office staff was very polite and efficient. The wait was less than 5 minutes. The waiting room was comfortable and child friendly. The Dentist and dental assistant were very personable and explained the process very well. They were very accommodating with making the cleaning quick and as comfortable as you can make a 2.5 yr old. Until children are old enough to feel comfortable sitting in the dental exam chair, they lay them in your lap to make it less terrifying. My child still had a meltdown for the 4 minutes that it took for the exam and cleaning, but he was fine as soon as it was over. He also bit the Dentist, who took it like a champ. Overall great experience and we’ll continue to use them.

I’m from Burnsville and finding a dentist outside your hometown is not easy and I didn’t know any dentists in Asheville so when my insurance company referred me because he is in network I had to give it a chance and I’m so glad I did.
