From the amazing front counter ladies, to the hygienists to the dentist/his assistant (Melanie <3), the whole team is great! I went in last time for a routine cleaning, they found two cavities and was able to get in me back in the same day for a filling. Erin did my cleaning last time, it was honestly the most gentle yet still thorough cleaning I've ever had!! They always make great recommendations for my own personal oral health too. I (used to) get tonsil stones my whole life, I've previously NEVER been given a tip for dealing with them. Maya (I don't think she's there anymore?) recommended an oil pulling rinse, and I never get them anymore!!! And Erin suggested softer brush heads to help avoid pre-mature gum recession. I always feel very catered to and taken care of when I'm there. Who knew you could love your dentist so much!? ;)

Amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. They worked with me when I was experiencing financial issues to break the payments up into manageable portions. As for the dental work, It's been the most efficient dental work I've recieved in my life. My past dental offices would cause major discomfort while numbing my gums over multiple attempts but at Turnagain Dental they get it done on the first try.

I recently had my teeth cleaned by Erin at Turnagain Dental. It was my first time with her as my hygienist and she was wonderful. She is efficient and knowledgeable and made the experience easy and enjoyable... Her professionalism would make you think she has been there for years, but come to find out I was her first true patient as a hygienist at Turnagain! Perfect fit. First of many I’m sure. Thanks!

My family and I have been coming here for years. Dr Green and the team have been very professional, courteous and accommodating. There was a time when going to the dentist was not something I ever looked forward to but with this team that is not a problem as I know I am/will be attended to with he utmost care. Thanks guys! I recently had the best experience at Turnagain Dental from start to finish. The office staff was polite and professional and found an appointment to work with my busy schedule. Dr. Green saw me on time and was very accomodating throughout the session. You can tell he's passionate about his job and the care and attention to detail is evident in the work he does. Dr Green and his staff made my long overdue experience wonderful! Everyone was friendly and made me feel completely comfortable. After years away I was completely shocked at how silly my fear of the dentist was. I was given an exam and Dr Green explained the benefits of each step to me thoroughly. I appreciate the genuine attempt to help me understand my health and the different ways we can achieve the same goal. I went back immediately for a cleaning which was awesome! I will be returning for long term care because I believe this office offers just that. 10/10

I've never been to a dentist this friendly and professional as this place. I almost forgot I was at a dentist because of how calm the air was. The process getting X-rays and teeth cleaning was very thorough, easy and detailed. Dr. Green has redeemed my view of going to the dentist because this was seriously the most pleasant and painless experience. He walked me through everything he was about to do so I knew what to expect, no surprises. I would highly recommend at least getting a check up because you won't be disappointed!

Very warm and relaxing environment. The staff and the doctor were all so friendly and knowledgeable! They got me back for my appointment right when I walked through the doors and I was finished in no time. That was one of the easiest most relaxing dental visits I've ever had. Efficient and very friendly staff. But they won’t ask questions when your mouth is full! Seriously, I’m a big 🐥 when it comes to work on my teeth, but I trust Dr Green to be gentle, understanding and to do excellent work. His support staff is the best. I’ve left good Dentists because I didn’t like their front desk people or their dental assistants. This entire staff is awesome.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience today with Dr. Green and Joy!!! I was very nervous about going to the dentist, even considered cancelling, but I'm so happy I didn't. Dr Geeen and Joy were very patient, kind, walked me through everything step by step, and were open and honest with giving me options and recommendations. I never felt rushed or pressured. The hygienist took the time to explain, in teeth lingo, what the connection was between my habits, and what we were seeing happening with my mouth health. Few people look forward to going to the dentist. Our family sepent several years bouncing from dentist to dentist looking for one that we trusted and were happy with the quality and level of care and service we received. When we found Turnagain Dental a few years ago we thought it couldn't get any better. When the practice sold, we were originally dismayed but have since changed our outlook. Dr. Green and his staff do an excellent job of taking care of our family dental needs. Although I still don't look forward to going to the dentist, I am very comfortable with the knowledge and care we receive from Dr. Green and his whole staff.

Great experience. I was called in right at my appointment time. My hygienist was gentle but did a great job. The dentist was informative and made recommendations for future care. The receptionist was helpful in setting up future appointment to work with insurance requirements. Great all around visit

This is a great dental practice. They were on time, efficient, competent and knowledgeable. Going to the dentist always makes me nervous because I never know what is going to happen next but here, Dr. Green and his staff explained every step of the procedure. They thoroughly answered every question I had and I never felt like they were rushed or distracted. Each member of the staff treated me as though I was the most important patient. I can not recommend this dental practice enough. It makes going to the dentist enjoyable and I walked out feeling like I had a new set of teeth.

it was a beautiful place with friendly people who treat you like a person rather then a number. They didn't make me feel stupid when I asked questions and welcome the inquiry. I didn't have a doctor talking over me about my oral health and then telling me what to do. He did his best to include me in the conversation and even took time to explain things I didn't understand. I don't like going to the dentist, but I'd happily go back here!

Dr. Wenzell has been taking care of my teeth for years now and I'm always so impressed by his and his staff's willingness and ability to squeeze me in. Living in remote Alaska means my trips to town are usually packed with errands, but Dr. Wenzell always finds a way to help me, even if it's horribly inconvenient for him. Plus, everyone is always so cheerful here. I really appreciate the high quality of medical care and personalities of the folks at Turnagain Dental. Weird as it sounds, I kind of like going to the dentist, and I'm sure that's because I know I'll be well cared for and kindly treated.

Dr. Josh and his team are 100% fantastic. I've never been more happy with a dentist and his admin/office team are the best I've ever interacted with. I also see Dr. Josh for migraines due to TMJ; he's certified to give Botox and since being treated by him the only time I've been hit with a migraine is when I wait too long to go back for another treatment. It has been absolutely life changing. Before the Botox treatments I was having a migraine or a cluster headache nearly every day. I can't emphasize enough how big of a positive change his expertise has been for my life. Dr. Josh is laid back, very professional, very friendly and doesn't make me feel rushed - he's more than willing to answer every question I have. The admin/front desk staff at Turnagain Dental have gone above and beyond to take care of me (I fly in from the North Slope) and they are even able to work with my insurance so the Botox treatments for my migraines are partially covered. They are very friendly, personable and have been on top of things to make sure I can get in and seen by the doctor once I'm in town. Genuine good people. I highly recommend them for both dental work and Botox for migraines (or aesthetics, if that's your thing).

Special thanks to Erin for recommending a mouth wash they carry. I know. My first thoughts were pushing product, but it really makes my teeth feel clean. As someone who lives with PTSD routines are very hard for me to keep. The clean mouth wash feeling has increased my brushing and flossing. Thanks Erin , that suggestion is really helping.
