It has been a great experience with High Desert Dental. Dr. Oz and his staff have been awesome; they are very professional, friendly and accommodating. I went to seek information on dental implants, and Dr. Oz was very patient and thorough in explaining the process to me. He was very open and honest about the process and procedures. He put my mind at ease as I am not a fan, as I’m sure no one else is, of extractions. The extractions and implants went well, and the healing process went well. I still have a ways to go before the whole process is complete, but I’m confident it will all turn out well, and I look forward to the end results. I highly recommend High Desert Dental and Dr. Oz and his staff to anyone seeking any type of dental service; they are awesome!

I was looking for an oral surgeon for implants where two molars had been extracted . Dr. Oz listened, asked questions and got the whole picture of what is going on. He even read my intake form and took time to understand my history. Price is plenty good, given the cost of dental work. The financial person was amiable and knowledgable. The case manager was thorough. And the best part was the friendly and caring atmosphere of the staff. They seemed to enjoy each other, and their work. Five stars for everything other than the artwork in the bathroom. Don't hesitate... they are great.

I like this place! Dr. Martinez and Hannah were both absolutely wonderful and went the extra mile that many do not. They were both friendly, knowledgeable, and gentle. Best of all though, I wasn't in the waiting room for more than 10 min (probably less than that) and I was home within an hour of my appointment starting.

Dr. Oz has an outstanding practice! Aside from being a great dentist, he's a kind human being who goes out of his way to accommodate his patients. I don't feel that I need to expound on the all the details online, but he went out of his way to help me with an issue on a Saturday morning. He's sincere, kind and has a fantastic staff. Men of his character are in short supply. Also, he's pretty darn good at fixing teeth :)

I was in town for the Holidays, and one of my wisdom teeth had a cavity and was chipped. I had it scheduled to be removed when I got back home, but while on vacation it became an unbearable pain. I searched online for an emergency dental appointment and came across High Desert Dental. I called around 10PM and got a text response immediately. He set an appointment for the next morning at 10 AM. I showed up and the whole staff was super friendly & helpful. Dr. Ozzie Rodas Ended up doing the tooth extraction and it was super quick & painless. Even after the numbing wore off, the pain was gone! Thank you all & have a wonderful Holiday!!

My visit recently to High Desert Dental went extremely well. I entered the facility for my appointment and was immediately greeted with a positive greeting and prompt check in. Wait time was minimal, l was greeted with a warm welcome by the staff member that was to do my teeth cleaning which was done thoroughly and promptly. Dr Rodas then reviewed x-rays with me and pointed out action needed to address problem areas indicating priorities for addressing problems. Checkout was prompt and courteous. All in all great facility and professional staff. One of my best visits to a dentist.

As to the various procedures needed the staff was very thorough in explaining the plan for my dental needs. Wait time in the office is very short and comfortable. Their office hours are very accommodating for the needs of many patients with different time restraints. I've been a patient with Dr. Mortley for many years. This was my first visit since his move to High Desert. It was a big change as the staff I knew are no longer with him. Big change! Frankly, I miss my old hygienist. High Desert is a pleasant place. The staff are friendly. But, I did have to wait more than a 20 minutes for my appointment. I had my second appointment this week. I was seen quickly, actually before my appoints time. The hygienist was very good keeping me informed about issues and concerns. I still miss the folks from the old office, but this is a friendly efficient modern place.

Dr.Oz noticed I was wearing a bracelet from the hospital and asked if I had been there. I told him my young daughter was there and we’d be staying a few days. He showed a lot of compassion and concern for my daughter. Thanked me for coming in for my appointment even though we were going through a family situation. After the appointment at check out the young lady gave me a very nice big stuffed animal ( orange bear) and a get well card for my daughter signed by the entire staff!!! That was the most thoughtful situation I have ever experienced! I gave it to my daughter when I got back to the hospital and she had a smile from ear to ear and made both of our days!! Thank you to Dr.Oz and his amazing staff for all their hard work and incredibly kind gesture!!! What an absolutely wonderful dental office! Friendly, professional, prompt and caring! I can't say enough about my appreciation for Dr. Martinez, dental assistant, Cynthia, dental hygienist Daniel, and the front desk staff: Bri, Laura and Taylor. Each treated me as if I was the only patient in the world. Dr. Martinez repaired several chipped front teeth after I fell, and in a separate visit, she pulled an abscessed tooth that was beyond saving. Cynthia assisted both times and kept assuring me during the tooth abstraction that I was doing great! (I was nervous). I am happy to give them and High Desert Dental a 5 star rating!

Knowing I would be leaving. I looked online snd found HIGH DESERT DENTAL. They were able to get me in at same time as my other appointment. The front desk, dental assist and Dr Is were all as good as it gets!!!! When discussing how to approach my problem, we came to a reasonable plan. Thank goodness for High Desert Dental and Dr. Ozzie Rodas. Recently, I was taking a trip out of state, and two days prior to leaving, I popped off a veneer. From my front tooth! On a Saturday! My dentist was closed, so I started searching for an emergency dentist. A few advertised as emergency care, but no one seemed to make themselves available for emergencies on weekends. Then I found High Desert Dental and Dr. Rodas. High Desert Dental is open every other Saturday, but of course, I needed help on their off Saturday. No problem. Dr. Rodas opened his office for me and saw me within an hour. Did it cost a little more than a normal appointment? Of course. I had so many bad experiences with dental care pretty much everywhere I went. In a sense, as time passed by I developed a phobia and would refuse to see a dentist. Nevertheless! They put so much attention to my concerns, I felt a bit of relief before even seeing them. Dr. Gary Ross and his staff are the best dental team in Albuquerque. Their attention to detail and patient care are second to none. My husband’s previous dentist really screwed up several of his teeth.
