I have had a great experience at Apex Dental! Got an appointment right away for a tooth that was hurting me. Got that fixed up right away. Then i decided to get crowns on my front teeth, molars, and one lower tooth, as well as teeth bleaching. Everything turned out wonderful! Dr. Reddy knows his stuff and his staff is nice and accommodating! Plan on a couple of hours for your appointment as they are a busy business, but you can get scheduled very quickly. I am happy with my experience at this place. Will be a loyal patient.

The best dentist there is in abq! They’re open late, will work with you to get you an appointment, and they do great work! Their staff is the nicest people I’ve met in the industry for sure! Love them. They are compassionate and gentle too when doing dental work which I love. They work around my dental anxiety and stay calm and reassuring the entire time. They listen to pain levels and don’t hesitate to adjust care! Check them out. Medicaid accepted too!

This is our first experience with Apex dental and they were very professional and knowledgeable. My son had a root canal performed and I feel they did and excellent job, he had very little after pain and quick recovery. I’ve been looking for a good dentist and I’m glad I found them. My husband started having an excruciating toothache at 8pm Thursday night, I was able to message their business page and was able to get him an appointment at 8am the next morning and they were able to extract the painful tooth within the hour. We were treated AMAZING, the whole staff is AMAZING. They took great care of my husband and were so kind. We were so happy with our visit we made it our regular Dentist!

I was traveling that weekend and had an emergency on one of my tooth, i was in deep pain, i called the clinic and talked to dr. two wisdom teeth with two different dentists. The doctor from a clinic in North East, traumatized me with how fast he took one of my impacted teeth and how painful the after procedure was but with Dr. Reddy on my second tooth, it was a bliss. The anaesthesia didnt numb my face so bad and still after procedure pain was minimal. He took the time to slowly but surely remove the very impacted wisdom tooth. He is an amazing doctor with gentle hands and precise work. 2000% recommended.

I had an emergency and could not get an appointment in my area. Apex dental is open Saturdays and were able to accommodate. The staff is friendly and helpful. The office is very clean and organized. Dr. Reddy is kind, efficient, and provides a clear explanation of what is needed, what he can do, and aftercare. He checked in consistently during the procedure to ask if I was ok or had pain. This was a positive experience, considering it was a trip to the dentist, and I will not hesitate to return or recommend to others.

I absolutely fear the dentist office. I’ve tried a few times to start the process of healing my mouth. A few places I went to made me feel awful. I broke a tooth last week and had to see a dentist. Long, long wait. Appointment began 40 minutes after my scheduled time. Not much communication from the front desk beyond what was absolutely necessary. It would have been cool if the receptionist had said something like, "We are running a little behind today, so we really appreciate your patience." Or "Sorry for the wait. It shouldn't be too much longer." Even some idle chit chat (with me, not her coworkers), would have been better than the wall of silence I faced. I felt invisible until i was called back. That being said, Dr. Reddy was super super quick once he finally got started. The most amazing thing to me was when he was giving me numbing shots with those scarily huge syringes, he was the best at it. I couldn't believe it! I couldnt feel the first 4 pokes!! - only the 5th one -and that has never happened before. I usually feel all of them. Amazing! Also...he gave me enough of the numbing compound the first time. No need to poke me again to give me more (which tends to happen, as i have red in my hair, so i an hard to numb).

I was in pain, I had just moved to NM and had no dentist to turn to. I called Apex, they had me in three hours later, identified the problem, gave me the antibiotic prescription I needed and the treatment plan to get to fully fixed with the hour. I had an old crown come off. I called Apex after I checked that they took my Medicare Advantage Plan, and they got me in that afternoon. All the staff are wonderful and the dentist who saw me was pleasant and easy to talk with. He discussed several options for a new crown and let the choice be up to me, no upselling! I go in next Tuesday for the preliminary work for a new crown. I now have a new dentist and am very pleased.

Dr. Reddy is extremely knowledgeable in his field and a very good dentist. However, his office personnel, one in particular (don’t know her name) is extremely rude, unprofessional and seems lazy as she does the minimal possible in customer service every time I have to deal with her which is most of the time. Some of his dental assistants don’t seem to be knowledgeable in their duties as they don’t know the rules about checking insurance coverage prior to providing services (also a front desk duty) and the younger female doesn’t know the proper flossing technique, she seesaws and cut my child’s gums and I was also surprised that the assistants don’t chart for the dentist but maybe it’s his preference.

I was 6 hrs in that dental chair and I was made to feel like I was the only patient there that day. Dr Sunil was constantly updating me and assessing my pain levels. The only neg thing that appointment was it was the most excruciating pain I have ever had after all that work done and he only Rx’d me pain meds to take every 12 hrs instead of every 4-6. Stayed in severe pain as a result. Staff are all very nice as well. Thanks Apex!!

I honestly could not be happier with the service I got at Apex. Every one was so kind and welcoming and the doctor took the time to really listen and understand what was happening with my tooth. I went in ready to get it extracted because it has been causing me so much pain and I had seen 3 dentists about it! He was the 4th one and like I said, I was just done with it, I had obviously spent so much money and energy on just this tooth to try to keep it, but I was done with it. And when he told me it was just that the crown was too big, I couldn't believe it. But he was right! He made it smaller and the pain has gone away and I even got to keep my tooth! I am so happy he did all the tests to see what was really going on and that he was honest and did everything to help me.

This dentist made custom dentures for me. And I just want to say thank you! From the most difficult to please person, my dentures came out better than I had ever expected. I had an emergency extraction, and they got me in first thing in the morning. Very welcoming staff, the doctor listened to my wishes(I've been denied extraction from another dentist couple times before for the same tooth). I came to apex dental with serious tooth pain. Turned out I had an abscess. After taking prescribed meds for a week I was ready to have the tooth extracted. Their staff was always very friendly and professional! The procedure went quite smoothly, considering I'm borderline phobic when it comes to dental work. They got the tooth extracted quite quickly and gave me detailed follow up instructions. My only qualms are that their cubicles offer little privacy, and I felt like I wanted a little more time to get to know the dentist. I also had reconstructive jaw surgery years ago in high school, and I wished they were a little more gentle with my jaw, but I also understand they had to extract a molar that wasn't probably easy to access. I intend to keep coming back! I have lots more that needs attention, and they've gained my trust so far! The healing progress is also going quite smoothly and the pain is very much under control! Fantastic care on an emergency visit for my 8 year old. Cracked a baby tooth on a Friday, and Apex scheduled us in on Saturday when local dentists don't have a off hours number. We had to drive three hours, but the care was fabulous and my son didn't feel a thing.

I am the patient mentioned in a review by Mr. Todd Marsh below. I am disappointed that someone who was not a patient would write a terrible review without first hand experience. Yes, my eye would not shut but it was not due to an overabundance of novacaine; sometimes the placement of the injection is close to a nerve and the is no way to tell exactly where the nerve is. Furthermore, I had no issues with my eye once the numbing agent wore off. As far as the other patient mentioned in his review, I do not believe there was anything else that could have been done to help. The patient was treated in exactly the way I would expect. Regarding my experience, I have some serious anxiety when it comes to dental work but I was in so much pain I knew I had to have my wisdom teeth removed as soon as possible. I called on Thursday, had an appointment Friday morning, and was home by noon. First, the extraction was painless and Dr. Reddy was careful not to damage the adjacent tooth which had a large cavity. Second, the price was much lower (by a lot) then the quote I received a couple years ago from another dentist. I literally took two Advil a few times over the following day and a half and was good-to-go. I plan to return to have more work done and highly recommend Apex Dental for general dentistry and major dental work.

Apex was there for me on a Saturday when I guess really needed them. All the way from the ladies who were answering the phone to the time that I was in the chair with the doctor,I felt respected and that I mattered. I had an emergency situation that they dealt with very diligently, assertively and promptly. Thumbs down on their competitors in the area two of which stated they were an emergency dentist operations. One of them never even answered the phone. I was visiting my dad on a Saturday morning bringing him something to eat as my mom had had major surgery recently. When I got there he showed me his tooth had broken the top half off! He did not have a dentist or having an appointment. So I started looking for a emergency dentist. I found several I called them and none of them answered their phone It would just have music playing. Apex dental had somebody answer the phone promptly after 1 or 2 rings. They made me an appointment for 2 hours later when I was able to bring my father in. They took his information got his insurance approved. The dentist was great he got the tooth out my dad was not in any discomfort or pain they called the next day to check in on him make sure he was doing well. Top notch professional dental office I would highly recommend them!!!

My 85 year old mother lost a bridge on a Friday night. She had 3 rotten jagged tooth roots left hurting her tongue and was half-mouth toothless. I found Apex on the i-net. They saw her Sat and had the 3 remnants removed quickly and painlessly by the end of week. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist was kind, helpful, personable, and professional.

I would like to see front staff willing to fax scripts in. I remembered to ask last time, & they did it, but didn't seem happy to do so. This time, I was in so much high level pain ( broken tooth for 10 months, w heart disease) that I didn't even realize I'd been given the script & put it in the car pocket w the referral to Endontics not realizing it until next day. Fortunately, they did remember the referral. Medicaid doesn't pay for an4256y molar root canal, .only ones in front that show 🙄. Guess they don't believe we need molars to chew with. We who are on Medicaid have to either have our teeth pulled or borrow $ to pay for our treatment. I paid into the systems for years be- fore I became disabled, but so many of our benefits have been given away to others. If I had no insurance, I could get help at UNM, but they said I would be committ- ing fraud, because I have insurance even though Medicaid doesn't cover the Endontic treatment I need! 🤔 which is $1,425-$1,746. You can actually buy a used car for that! We are making them rich! 😝

I got there early I knew paperwork to complete. I had a bit of a wait, I was seen an hour after being in dental chair. I didn’t want to complain last thing I want is to rush the dentist. I left confused as to what my treatment plan should be. I have periodontal problems. I left so sad because I don’t know what to do or where my treatment is headed. My Dentist/Doctor Reddy very nice. My husband typically gets his dental care from IHS but when he needed a crown IHS couldn’t help him. He looked around for several dentists and cost compared and found Apex Dental to be the cheapest and he really enjoyed his experience and the staff throughout his experience. A few months later, I began experiencing immense tooth pain. He told me to call Apex because they were great and I did. I was able to get an appointment the next day. I ended up having to have an extraction and I experienced NO PAIN during the procedure and little pain afterwards. I felt back to normal a few hours later with no more tooth pain. The best thing was, the staff is super nice and friendly and take the time to explain things. I hadn’t been to a dentist in a very long time and never wanted to go to one because I was afraid of being judged and never once felt that way at Apex. Now we are planning to get my teeth back to good shape and I will continue to go to Apex Dental to keep them that way.

There was a little bit of a wait due to complications with the patient before me, but as soon as the doctor got to me he was incredibly quick. Two of my fillings cracked on thanksgiving day. I I called around to see who can get me in and the place I called couldn’t get me in till January I couldn’t wait. I googled emergency dentist and this place popped up I called on a Monday and they got me in the same day. Everyone was very nice and professional. I had to wait in the chair for a while but the whole time the doctor and the techs checked up on me apologizing for the wait. Only downside to my experience was acting to wait overnight to be able to get seen. However I did receive instructions on what to do for pain management until the next morning which I was taken as a walkin right when they opened at 8:00am. Apex Dental is close by home and figured I would give them a try to see if I could stop after shift. I called to see if there was availability for same day evaluation and although there wasn’t any at the time the front desk rep Rebecca was nice enough to get me in to se Doctor even after hours that same evening. What a relief! I’m a traveling contractor and I’m rarely in the same place long enough to schedule an appointment to get in any where. Dr. Reddy got me in right away(around noon) and stayed close to 4 hours past closing time to get me taken care of. Extremely knowledgeable Dr. and staff. I had been having problems with my cracked wisdom tooth that was keeping me up all night. Due to COVID-19 regulations, Labor Day , and being on Medicaid, finding a open dental clinic was hard. I called to schedule an appointment this morning for later this week but was able to get seen the same day I called! I was in and out in literally under an hour. Ive had the worst experiences with dentists, and for the first time I found someone who made me look forward to coming back. I had a cracked wisdom tooth that was causing me intense amounts of pain. I called the doctor at 9pm that night and he got me in at noon the next day. I felt NO PAIN. None. And when he was checking to see if I was numb, he took so much care in making sure I wouldn't feel any pain. His aftercare was detailed and clear and he was so friendly. I was in pain and had swelling from the wisdom teeth on my left side. I was able to speak to Dr. Reddy immediately and he saw me on the same day with no appt. My upper wisdom tooth came out with no problem but my lower was a big problem! Dr. Reddy used local anesthesia and had me nice and numb so all I felt was pressure, I am a dental assistant so I know there's no escaping the pressure. It took about 3 hours to finally get every piece of tooth and root out, it was INTENSE!!! Although the procedure was long and complicated, Dr. Reddy was extremely caring and kind, kept making sure I was alright and not feeling any pain. It was hard work for both of us but was made aware of all post op instructions and Dr. assured me that if there were any issues when I left, I could call at anytime. I was called the next day to check to see how I was doing. I had my 1 week follow up today and everything is healing up quickly! Still having some discomfort but it is normal for the healing process. Front staff is also very nice, especially Rebecca! I recommend Apex Dental to my friends and family and anyone else for that matter. Thank you for taking care of me, this is my new dental home.

Dr.Reddy was able to get me in same day for extreme wisdom tooth pain during Covid. The facility was very clean and followed CDC guidelines. The only true Emergency Dentist in Albuquerque! I developed acute toothache that turned out to be a tooth abscess. The pain because unbearable on Saturday night and I was not looking forward to Sunday knowing there is probably no dentists that offer emergency services on Sunday. A day in the Emergency room waiting for an opioid prescription to temporize the pain did not sound very appealing. So I started googling and Apex Dental came up in the search. I called the number at 7:15 am and Dr. Reddy answered and offered me a quick appointment. He took X-rays and diagnosed the problem. He seemed very meticulous with analgesia and was checking on me frequently to make sure there was no pain. The tooth needed to be extracted but it went smooth and was painless. He even did a bone graft as apart of the procedure to prepare the site for a future implant! His technique is excellent and he pays great attention to detail. Exceeded all expectations. The clinic will answer phone calls 24/7, and Dr. Reddy will come in to help you at any time. Highly recommended.

My son was hit in the mouth by a baseball, knocking his 2 front teeth back. I called every dentist in abq and they got him in with in 2 hours of it happening. The Dr. Gave us the run down on what he was going to do and reassured us he was going to do his best and my son would be ok. A hour later my son was all fixed up. I cant be anymore greatful for this office and his wonderful staff.

Love this place. I’ve been going to Apex for a couple of years now and they are wonderful. I work in Tijeras and live by UNM but I will 100% drive to the Westside to get dental work from them. Always friendly and gentle and thorough. And my wait in the waiting room today was about 3 minutes. 5 stars!!

Dr sunil did me right. I called in with two broken molars. I was in excruciating pain and I called them at 6:30am and they got me a appointment for 9am! He took care of the problem and made sure I was well numbed for my extractions.
