Our daughter has been in classes here since she was 3 (now 7) and has loved all of her teachers! She has also participated in the Nutracker for the past 4 seasons, so we have gotten to know the Central Park Dance family quite well. They are caring and attentive, creating a wonderful environment for budding dancers! Highly recommend CPD and all it has to offer.

My daughter has been dancing before she could walk. So, when she turned 2, we enrolled her in her first ballet class at Central Park Dance (CPD). Ten years later she is still dancing 6-8 hours a week, with countless recitals in addition to five years of Nutcracker performances to her credit. She enjoys dance so much, it's in her blood, and that passion has been ignited and fueled by all of the amazing teachers she's had over the years at CPD. We love them so much and they have all become our Dance Family, both parents and teachers: Christina, Alejandra, Devon, Nancy, Trisha etc. And none of this would have been possible without the leadership & direction of the owners Maria & Mario for the last 40 years. Looking forward to many more years filled with Sugar Plum Fairies, Snow Queens, and classical music around our house - compliments of Central Park Dance.

My daughter has been going to Central Park Dance since she was 4. The school is run really efficiently and organized, the teachers are great. It's always busy and we always meet new friends or find our own friends' children there. There are loads of performance opportunities too with their own annual Nutcracker performance and recitals. Highly recommend!

We recently moved and have been looking for a new dance studio and have really found a gem! The studio is run by a wonderful family and we are looking forward to taking more classes next year!

Central Park dance is our home away from home!! We love the family vibe . Every child at CPD is special!!! We highly recommend CPD you won’t regret it!!!

This school is amazing and really nurtures the talent of each dancer no matter what level. Central Park Dance is Wonderful! They manage to make every little girl feel special. Ms. Christina is super lively- she makes you feel like you would want to join the class along with the kids. She is incredibly kind, patient and loving to all the girls in my daughter's class. Their recital is very well run and organized- each one of the dancers has their moment to shine and gets to feel like a true performer. It is no joke- they learn their dances and perform a full choreography - even the little ones- to the parents surprise! My daughter looked forward to going every single class. Next year she will be taking two classes and we can't wait.

My daughter loves CPD. We first started there last summer and she had an amazing time. Their teachers are thoughtful and the staff as a whole are accommodating and flexible. This past spring was our first recital experience and it was a great one! 💜 Ms Dina has been our teacher so far and she's amazing. This past year was my 3 year old daughter's first time taking ballet. Miss Christina is amazing!!! The kids love her and she is so patient and understanding. My daughter loved to dance before attending Central Park Dance and does more so now. She is always asking how many days until her next class. My daughter likes to pretend to be Miss Christina at home and "teaches" her brother how to dance. We are looking forward to summer camp with Miss Christina next week!

Central Park Dance by far the best dance studio in Westchester. It is truly a family atmosphere where every student is nurtured. My daughter has grown tremendously as a dancer over the past 6 years under the direction of her very talented teachers. There is a wonderful variety of classes at all levels. It is easy to see what kind of studio it is by the way the dancers support one another...you won't find better! Thank you CPD.

I was looking for a class for my 2 year old daughter and found Central Park Dance. They invited us to try out a class and she loved it. We started late in the year but my daughter caught on with no problems. She isn't the best about doing the warm ups but knows it all by heart and Miss Dina couldn't be nicer about it. Once the dancing gets going my daughter is all about it. She is always walking around showing people her ballet moves. She has learned all the terms and positions. Highly recommend. Can't wait for the summer session to start.

We have been part of the Central Park Dance family for over 10 years. My older daughter who's now a Shophmore in college started taking one Hip Hop class per week when she was in 5th grade and loved it so much that she added more and more classes each year until she ultimatly spent almost as much time at dance than she did at home! My younger daughter is now training at CPD with the aspiration of becoming a professional Ballet Dancer. They have excellent training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop & Contemporary dance. The teachers at this studio are true professionals who take their jobs as very seriously and expect the best from themselves and the students while providing a fun and loving enviornment. The Director at CPD is one of the most caring and dedicated people i've ever met. They put the saftey and ultimate sucess of the students above all, even when it's not what a parent might want to hear. My kids have learned that hard work and dedication is the key to sucess. This is a life lesson thatthey will always carry with them. No place is perfect because people aren't perfect but , I am forever grateful to have found Central Park Dance.

Love CPD! From a great selection of adult classes for me (need to get my butt to Lou's ballet class again soon!) to the Tot & I class my daughter and I took last summer and then in the 15/16 year (with Miss Dina!) we have been enjoying ourselves tremendously. Can't wait to start FTB this summer and see what next year brings. So many class options (really the best around) and great teachers!

They teach good dance technique in a fun, engaging, yet systematic way, and both my daughters have learned so much. The recital at the end was amazing, great memories for my whole family. I have over 20 years experience with Central Park Dance Studios. Mario and Maria, for over 35 years, the creators, owners and former professional dancers, designed and operate a first class dance school. Their entire family, including very talented 3 children, have been a part of the school for as long as I could remember. Their children have impacted and participated in the success of its operation. The environment is warm and friendly and certainly nurturing on every level. Children who are very motivated can start out as a simple dancer and turn into something magnificent, as my child did. They have group and private lessons for children of all ages and for adults at night. Tap, modern, ballet, jazz, hip hop, ballroom and more circulate their class rooms daily. There is a small retail store to get acquainted with for all your dance needs. Annually, they put on a terrific show at Suny Purchase to delight parents with children enrolled in their school. Each year, the shows get better and better and the talent more extraordinary. I don't know another high quality dance studio in Westchester and I'm sure they are leaders in their field. They have nice beautiful studios and tons of children walking through their doors on a daily basis. The CPD family and teachers are a credit not only to dance but to the many students and families who have passed in-and-out of their doors over the years. If you were to ask me, Central Park Dance is an institution needed to be recognized for their outstanding contribution to the arts, cultural diplomacy and family love. Hats off to them, a thousandfold. Truly unique. Dance fever! Yes! Unmatched!

My daughter, Camryn started Tot & I class in the summer of 2015 just after her 2nd birthday. At first she was so shy and wouldn't do a thing however after a few weeks she came out of her shell. Hats off to the wonderful teachers Miss Roanne and Miss Dina! We love CPD!

My 3.5 year old has been going to balley here for a year now and she loves it. We started with Tot and I with Roanne and kept going during the school year for Fairytale Ballet. You could really see them growing as little ballerinas as the school year progressed. The recital at the end of the year was great as well. The costumes and production were amazing. There is no pressure to participate in the recital. Great faculty and location!

BEST dance studio ever!!!! Nicest people, Maria and Mario always bring warmth and a smile of their students faces AND THEIR PARENTS ' !!!! They LOVE people and they bond with us easily. Their studio is like a home for dancer students!!!! And their teachers. The atmosphere is friendly and kind. Maria and Mario also always accommodate us to the very best of their abilities, at all time. It is never stressful or unpleasant to be there, Mostly, it is a PURE dance school, with incredible professionals and great rooms. Yet nothing pretentious. I love that is fully specialized in dance, and has nothing to do with a gym. I also love their wide variety of dance styles offered, including danced fitness. Such a rare place.
