Tatyana Frost nurtures her students to become the best dancers they can be - and she’s fun! My band, the Jazz DaddyOs entertained for a dance night and I saw dancers delighting in their dancing! There’s a lot of work behind a successful dance studio . Kudos to Tatyana Frost - the hardest working woman in the dance business!

Tatyana is a great instructor. I took courses on latin dances (with focus on salsa) for a wedding, and Tatyana was able to get me prepared in time to enjoy the party and ones to come. She is very professional and knowledgeable. Not only did she teach the basic/fundamental steps, but also how to lead (crucial in Latin dances). And just as important, the classes were fun!

We originally were looking for a dance school for date nights and possibly to get us comfortable enough to have a good first dance for our wedding. We came in with an hour Groupon and we loved our session so much that we signed up for the 12-week discovery class and later a 12-choreography class with Tatiana and Hunter. The discovery class was a 12-week/private lesson + group practice each Tuesday that teaches you all the basics of partnered dances. We learned the Waltz, Rumba, Slow, Merengue, and Hustle. My wife is pretty much a musical genius while I am not; I had to count the whole time. Throughout the 12 weeks, Tatiana and Hunter helped us learn the basic steps and taught me how to feel the beat and what to do when I get off track and join back to the music. After our first 12 private lessons, we signed up for more, this time with choreography lessons for our upcoming wedding. We gave Tatiana our first dance song which was two songs combined (Hustle and Slow). Not only did she teach us the choreography, but she also made sure our steps, hand placements, and stance were on point. For someone who is not musically inclined and has never danced ballroom, this was very intimidating and hard. But all that hard work paid off when my parents were surprised that their child who has never danced ballroom suddenly knows how to Hustle. Overall, I recommend the Way 2 Dance team. I definitely suggest taking the introductory 12 weeks to learn the basics that will become the foundation of your choreography classes for your first dance. We will be coming back for more dance date nights.

I went to way to dance to learn swing dancing for a wedding. Ms. Tatyana was so kind and patient with me. She taught me so much about swing that I now dance more then before. After the wedding I go to the clubs and now and ladies love to dance with me all the time. When dancing it’s like I’m free. If it was not for Ms. Tatyana I would not be a confident dancer.

My now wife and I wanted to do more than just waddle around the dance floor for our first dance at our wedding. Enter Tatyana. From Day One she was awesome. We had no experience on a ballroom dance floor and she was able to patiently figure out our learning styles, and teach us the basics on how to move around the floor. And for me how to lead; as someone who has no rythym or flow, it's amazing she didn't fire us. She choregraphed our first dance and taught us how to add the fine details to make it look like we are professionals. All of our guests loved it, and my friends now have a standard set as they go into their weddings. Will for sure be back to her ballroom in the future!

We are getting married VERY SOON, and I found out my bride to be is not a comfortable dancer! I reached out to Tatyana to see if she could help, not make her a competition ready dancer, but just get her comfortable moving around. We purchased a small package- now we have a short routine, and some confidence on the dance floor. My advice is DON'T WAIT! Enroll soon, take advantage of as much time as you have and learn! Tatyana is patient, recognizes your weaknesses, and helps work them out. We are considering going to the group classes... after the honeymoon of course!

I had been looking for a different surprise birthday gift for my wife, She had always wanted us to learn to dance but I had put it off for years. After speaking with Tatyana I set up our first lesson and told my wife we where going out that night. Upon our arrival she was shocked and very happy. After a fun filled lesson, we decided to continue taking lessons. We are only a few months in at this point but we look forward to our weekly lesson and our night out. Amazing & Fun – These are the words I would use to describe my overall experience with Tatyana teaching me to dance. My daughter’s wedding was scheduled and she had chosen a song for the father/daughter dance. I’m not a dancer and I had never taken dance lessons before. I was incredibly nervous going to a dance class. Tatyana put together the perfect steps for us. After the classes, I was able to dance with my daughter at her wedding with confidence. The dance parties are great. We started by just going to the parties and then took some group classes but the private lessons are the best help of all. Tatyana's instruction was amazing; our celebration was a wonderful event; and our Waltz to 'Moon River' was the highlight of the party! My husband bought me a gift certificate for Christmas 2015. It was for a few lessons for us together. I have loved dancing as long as I can remember. He has hated it for as long as he can remember. We finally scheduled our lessons in August 2016. Neither of us had any idea that this would evolve into a continuous twice a week commitment from purchasing that gift certificate. I am having so much fun learning all of the dances but most of all I am loving that though he may not always admit it he is having fun as well and we are doing this together. My daughter and I took dance lessons with Tatyana at the Way 2 Dance studio (Brandon, FL) in preparation for our Dad & Daughter dance at her wedding. The experience was amazing and awesome...to say the least. First of all, my daughter lives in another state so Tatyana had to be flexible with our schedule--even taking time away from her own family who was visiting at the time. My daughter had sent Tatyana the montage of songs (from Van Morrison to MC Hammer to Rap artists I don't even know and ending with Frank Sinatra) and she timed and choreographed every move for us so that we had seamless transitions from song to song. Tatyana not only helped us think about creative ways for us to enjoy dancing together but also thought about adding entertainment value for our wedding guests. As I attended this event, the venue was spacious with beautiful lighting, modern and very well organized. The gathering was well thought out and was a lot of fun. If you got to this site because you are looking for a place to take lessons and learn ballroom dancing as well as have some of the social experience that goes with it, you can stop looking. The minute you walk in the door the people here gather around you and introduce themselves. There is group and parties and private lessons to choose from. We found them by accident because we haven't danced in years, and want to go into retirement being able to again hold our own on the dance floor. We again, have gotten hooked on ballroom dancing and wonder why we ever stopped dancing. Join us. Dancing is so good for you on many levels. Come join us!!

I have many great memories of watching my parents dance at wedding receptions. They didn’t have any fancy moves and they basically did a ‘box step’ but to me they looked fancy and connected. George and I have been married 23 years, and George has made it possible for me to stay home and raise our children for the past 17 years. Now that our three children are grown, and we have been traveling more, we find ourselves with many opportunities to get on a dance floor. In March, we were in Curacao and watched from the side as few couples took the floor. It was then that we decided we didn’t want to miss any more chances to thoroughly enjoy outings. Several months back we started at The Way 2 Dance with a few group classes and then eventually decided we would learn a lot more with the inclusion of private lessons. By the time we took our children to Cancun in August, we had learned enough basics of Salsa, the hustle and merengue that we were able to enjoy dancing each night we were there. We are now learning several more dances and intend to keep dancing as long as possible. Each evening we dance, whether it be a lesson, group class or an outing, we connect in a way I believe only possible through dance.
