Best salsa dance studio in Tampa and the quality is amazing!!! If you want to learn or just brush up on your basic steps this is the place to be 🙌🏽. Very warm and welcoming and the instruction is great as well! You have to take a class and see for yourself!

I recently moved to Tampa from Miami a couple of months ago now. This studio was the first studio I attended the first day I moved in. I can honestly say that it had all that I liked: quality, communication, value, etc. Similar to my old studio I used to instruct, they will give you what you need in order to dance, not just do unlike some other studios. I highly recommend anyone at any level to attend the classes AND the socials that they host as well!

My first studio/family I knew when I was relocated to Tampa. The team is amazing, they are fun, easy to approach to and they surely will put a smile in your face as tons of energy flows during the classes. Beginner pack is a steal, 6 clases for 45$ is wonderful, now, as you progress they become more and more engaging and addicting, one cannot wait to get new skills and moves. Come and visit the studio, get to know the stiles and visit one of our many many social events to engage on tampa latin nightlife!

Thankfully a friend of mine had tried all the different studios in the Tampa area and recommended this place to me. Come as you are and at any skill level to only leave as family! I cannot say enough great things about all of the staff and how welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional they are! I wish I had took the plunge for dance lessons years ago but now I am hooked and good luck getting rid of me! Best place to start or continue your journey in Salsa, Mambo, or Bachata!!!

Being a regular dancer (family parties and the occasional club outing) I was a bit intimidated and shy about joining a class, but I felt at ease the moment I entered the studio. I was so warmly welcomed and the students are all so friendly and nice. It's a great learning environment with helpful and friendly staff that make you feel like family right away. I would recommend it to anyone from beginner to advanced to improve your technique in a fun and inviting atmosphere.

I definitely recommended this place. I started going back in July of 2018. And I found myself a lifetime hobby for myself. The instructors and staff are ALL amazing. They make you feel welcoming and have the patience with you as your learning. I also learned that it’s more of a family than just a business. It’s my outlet and therapy. I look forward each week coming into class. I recommend to come in the first full 6 weeks of beginners. Stick with it and you’ll find out how much fun and a workout it can be.

I first took salsa class for beginners. Now I am taking Private bachata classes with my fiancé for our first dance. Great studio! I've tried learning salsa elsewhere and this is so much better. The teachers are patient and explain things in a way you understand. They also have socials so you can practice with others learning. It's also very reasonably priced.

TATO IS THE BEST! He makes the class so much fun! He helps you understand not only the movements but the beats as well. His sense of humor makes the class so much fun that the time goes by so fast!! I just finished a progressive 6 week progressive Bachata course and I feel comfortable and confident now when I go to get together with my friends and dance. I just started my 6 week progressive course with TATO on 2/17/20 and I am so excited to learn. He does not only teach you dance steps, but he also teaches you about beats and how to find the count in music. You can see the love his love of dance by the way he teaches! If you are looking for a place that will be fun, you do not feel nervous or scared check out TATO SALSA here in Tampa they are the BEST!!

You'll learn much more than just steps. Cristina and Tato show you how to bring emotion and style into your dancing and make it feel natural no matter who you're dancing with. Their technique is perfect and makes you think differently about how you move. They're very inspirational and also extremely nice people who are very passionate about what they do. The classes are appropriate for all levels - from beginner to advanced . Cristina and Tato are very good about spending time with each dancer, without making you feel singled out or disrupting the flow of class. They know exactly what it takes to take you to the next level and help you overcome any challenges you are facing. Every student that I met left dramatically better regardless of their level of expertise.

What can I say about this school, but its nothing short of excellent! The best instructors in the area and the classes are fun and comical. No one likes a boring snore of a class. The instruction is consistent and is also challenging. I started with TatoSalsa back in September 2015 and I have stuck with them because I've seen my dancing improve significantly! They also throw my favorite social once a month, Sunday de Sabrosura in La Herencia de Ybor! Love the ambiance and plenty of people to dance with! If you want a great progressive learning experience with Salsa and dance in general, this is the school to go with especially if you have no prior dance experience such as myself!

This place is great! If you're looking to learn some new patterns or shines come check it out. If you area beginner just starting out Tato has an almost uncanny ability to break down the musicality and the instruments used and the sounds and rhythms you need to listen for.

I enjoy dancing as a way of balance my workload in a stressful IT high tech company and my personal life. Almost two years ago I started taking dancing classes with Tato and his beloved wife Christina Paredes, the experience has been very satisfying because the quality of their method, the structure of progressive teaching. All of these with a very fun and relaxing atmosphere. This is reflected in the harmony between the staff, Sachoda, May, Dulce, Dio, Sandy, Daniel.. What a dedicated and humbled team. Love that Tato and staff, most of the time, are supporting the events from others school.

Oh my God finally a team ( Christy and Tato) of instructors that take their time showing steps and hours very flexible. I don’t even know where to start, I’ve never danced Bachata before in my life and when I came to this studio my instructor (Darlene) taught me the basic steps and helped me learn Bachata quickly, she made the class fun and super easy, it was an amazing experience and I would recommend taking the class to anyone, they help you feel like family and know how to make you laugh and have fun while also challenging yourself to dance a beautiful dance.
