The Ruby Dance Studio is an amazing establishment. My 15 year & 8 year old daughters attend the dance studio. Ms. Ruby has done a phenomenal job teaching my eldest daughter Ballet/ Lyrical for the pass two years that she is now competing and winning competitions. Mrs. Ruby and the dance instructors are doing a fantastic job with the students. I would highly recommend Ruby Dance studio to every parent in the local area near or far.

My daughter has been at this studio for the last 3.5 years. The staff and dance instructors are fantastic! The focus and dedication that comes with developing young children in this sport isn’t an easy task but the girls who attend this studio are committed to their craft. I’ve appreciated the flexibility from Mrs. Ruby and Mrs. Glenda when it comes to the individual needs of my little dancer. I would recommend this studio to any new comer in this area. The proof of their success shines bright in their dance teams.

My daughter has attended Ruby Dance for almost 3 years now. She has attended their after school program, summer camp program as well as auditioned and made their competition team. I can honestly say that Ms. Ruby and her staff always put the children’s safety and well being FIRST. My daughter looks forward to taking her classes and has really gained confidence and discipline and she has really found her passion. For After care , Summer camp and competitions ,Ms. Glenda is always amazing and there to answer any question and/ or concerns you may have. I always feel comfortable and knowing my child is in her hands. I have and will continue to recommend Ruby Dance Center.

My daughter took dance for many many years so when the time came introduce her daughter to the art of dance the search began. On our first visit to Ruby Dance 5 years ago we knew our search had ended. Claudia Ruby has built her school with love. Mrs. Ruby’s passion for dance is shared with her students and the environment at the studio promotes the students to be the very best they can be! The after school program is exceptional. No only are the teachers in tune with the student’s dance program - their education is paramount. We can not express our gratitude and pleasure in having Claudia Ruby and her entire staff as our partners in helping in my granddaughter’s journey in life.

Ruby Dance Center is a great place for your children to go to for after school, dance and summer programs. My daughter has been going there for dance and summer programs over the last 3 years. My daughter and all the children have a great time there every day. The facilities is very clean and well kept up. The teachers are always giving there full attention to the children and Mrs Ruby is always doing whats best for the children from encouraging learning & keeping up on their homework, having fun and of course dancing. RDC is all about keeping your kids safe and having a healthy environment to grow and express them selves to their full potential. My daughters have known and danced with Ms. Ruby since they were 3 (they are 12 and 10 now). Ms. Ruby loves them and is very generous with her time and talent. She sees the potential in every student and nurtures that talent. Her love of children is only matched by her love of dance. I would recommend this studio to any parent who has a child interested in dance. RDC also has an afterschool program that is top notch! They pick up from many schools (elementary and middle) and ensure the students complete their homework before taking their dance classes. Ms. Glenda makes each child feel loved but also provides the needed structure and discipline for children that age. I trust them implicitly!

This is my daughters third year at RDC and she loves it. The instructors are great and work with the kids as a group and individuals. Everyone is very supportive. Being on the Dance Team has been a great experience for my daughter. It has built her confidence and it’s great how all the kids and parents are supportive of the dancers. I would recommend RDC to anybody looking for a dance studio that not only teaches children to dance but also to love dance.

The staff here is awesome!!! My daughter, being new to the area, started in the aftercare program. With their classes, she has made it to the dance team! I have never had an issue with her homework and that is thanks to Ms. Glenda!! Ms. Ruby and Ms. Glenda keeps the lines of communication open and this is comforting to a single mom that truly believes it takes a village. My daughter is confident, even more caring and is learning responsibility with the help of this studio!

5 stars! Our daughter has been dancing since she was 3 years old. We met Mrs Ruby while she was at another studio and when she opened her studio we didn’t think twice about going with her, although she didn’t ask us to. We liked the fact that was a professional ballerina, she told us all her stories while training in Rusia and also that she is a licensed teacher and is very knowledgeable about the dance industry. Our daughter has learned a lot from all the instructors at RDC and she has develop a love for dance. We appreciate all the staff at RDC, she has made a lot of friends, had amazing competition seasons and she is ready to start a new year of dance with the RDC team!

I have known Ms. Claudia Ruby since my daughter was 3yrs old (now 15yrs). Thanks to Ms. Ruby's knowledge, professionalism and dedication to her students; my daughter has excel on her dance skills and techniques (my daughter's dance teachers from her performing arts school always complements my daughter's dance and has been selected from several auditions to perform with students in a higher dance level). In addition, my youngest daughter has special needs (developmentally delayed, autism, etc) whom Ms. Ruby with her patience and dedication has helped my daughter with her special needs: coordination, flexibility, social skills, increase compliance with following directions as well as routine and structure. I am very grateful for all that Ms. Ruby has done for my daughters that I decided to commute from Lakeland to Riverview for my daughter to continue her dance with her..

Mrs Ruby is an accomplished ballet dancer, trained in Russia. She is co-founder and owner of a successful and renounded Ballet Company in her home country of Bolivia. I have been an involved parent since the studio opened.; additionally both my daughter's danced with Mrs Ruby at 2 other studios prior to her opening RDC. On both those occasions she transitioned without poaching students or trying to make her old studio's owners or partners look bad to benefit her new endeavor. She continued to have professional relationships with them and even supported them with ballet classes for their advanced students. RDC is currently the only Dance Studio with an after school program picking up children from many local schools. She is a certified teacher and many of the aftercare staff are either certified or seeking an educational degree. RDC not only holds dance intensive in summer but has summer camps, where they have dance classes and local field trips to entertainment facilities. Recent past or future negative reviews will most likely be from supporters of instructors which have recently left RDC to open a competitive studio. Past instructors may be talented but do not hold the years of experience in the dance industry that Mrs Ruby has, especially in Ballet; which anyone in the dance industry, knows is the fundamental technique in all traditional dance styles. Is any establishment perfect? No, but in the 13 plus years I have known Mrs Ruby I have come to know she is a person with integrity. She will make her best effort to iron out issues with parents. Everyone that comes to know her well, will see her love of dance, children and education. These continue to drive her to grow her studio. With growth, sometimes there is a possibility that a parent, student or teacher may have an issue, but I am almost certain Mrs Ruby and the staff will work to resolve them. I personally have only praise for RDC, I have and will continue to recommend RDC to any parent looking for a studio for their child. Bronxlopez

The owner of Ruby Dance Center had a scholarship to study Ballet in the former USSR. She was a professional ballerina performing internationally before she started to teach. She took time out to study elementary education at Penn State University. That degree has helped her to teach dance in a professional way to young students. Once she graduated, she was part of the National Ballet of Bolivia. She opened a studio in La Paz Bolivia, which is still successful today. Later she moved to Florida, and opened this studio. I have followed this owner, her students and her studios for over 35 years and can say from experience that she has taught internationally and teaches ballet professionally. Some of her students have become professional ballerinas and some have gone on to teach ballet. I highly recommend Ruby Dance Center.

Both my daughters attended Ruby Dance and they loved it as well as I did. To this day they beg to go back to the studio. We’ve moved away therefor I had to pull them out. All the teachers were fantastic. My daughters learned a lot but most importantly they had fun!!!!
