Maria is a wonderful teacher! It's very easy to follow her teaching style and classes are fun!

There are plenty of instructors in Tampa who are great salsa dancers, but few who are really good at teaching their craft. Maria and her staff at Dancin Motion really know how to teach you what it takes to be one of those great dancers. They give you every opportunity to get better at dancing, whether that's by repeating classes at no cost, offering drop-in workshops, or attending their weekly socials. If you want to learn how to dance, you will learn at DMSA. It's also a very family oriented studio, so there's no need to be embarrassed or ashamed. Everyone is very helpful including the students. That's the type of culture DMSA has.

Currently enrolled in classes here and I loveeeeee it! Maria and staff are great. I would definitely recommend anyone to attend classes here at DMSA.

I finished the Level 1 class at this studio and I loved it! Maria is an awesome instructor and makes it so easy for new students to learn to dance. I am recommending that everyone give this place a chance if they are serious about learning salsa or any other form of dance!

I would recommend to anyone interested in dancing salsa. Maria promotes a very friendly, family oriented, non-intimidating environment. Dance is like anything in life though, you get out of it what you put into it so don't expect to dance one day a week and wonder why you're not progressing.
Great Studio!

Great dance studio for about high school age and up. She has kids classes sometimes too. Best value I've ever seen for dance lessons and best entry-point for beginners.
There's an ongoing groupon for your first course of classes. Once you pay for a course/level (there are presently 6 levels for salsa + AP classes you can take after that) you are currently invited to repeat it as often as you like for free.
There are also traditional bachata classes which are a lot of fun. There's two monthly socials/open dancing on Friday nights, 1 with a salsa emphasis and the other with a bachata emphasis but always a mix of each.
Maria breaks down the steps well. I took salsa lessons in high school (so over a decade ago, I'm rusty) but level 1 taught me a lot of things I was unfamiliar with. I'm about to start level 4 class now and loving it!

I always wanted to learn Salsa and the Groupon was a perfect way to start. I don't live in Tampa and there wasn't anything locally for me. I drove 1 hr to class and never looked back. I went through all levels of Salsa and made the best of friends along the way. My class size was nice. There was lots of instruction and plenty of socials to practice what we learned. Maria gives so much to her students. She offers Bachata classes too. If you are looking for a place to start, this is it.

DMSA is a dance studio in a class of its own. It is not only exceedingly affordable, but the instruction is solid, fun and designed in such a way that one will learn, unless one chooses not to! The owner is very caring, creates an easy, friendly environment, and one cannot help but feel at home.... always!

A few months ago, I went dancing with my girlfriend and a couple of her buddies when I noticed that two of her guy-friends were really good at Salsa. Like REALLY good. When I asked them how they learned, they both said classes at DMSA. One was Level 4 the other Level 6. I wasted no time and joined. I just finished level 2 in Salsa and Level 2 in Bachata and I am amazed at how much i’ve learned. DMSA is an incredible school. The instructors are friendly, patient and highly skilled. Their method of teaching is designed to make anyone a better dancer, no matter your background or experience. Highly recommend

I love these classes and we have learned much. We did a private lesson tonight and it was a huge help on what we needed. I absolutely will do another private lesson to keep is on track with the lessons. Fantastic instructors, thank you Maria!

I'm blown away by how enjoyable it has been to learn salsa here. I never thought I would enjoy it and they have proven me wrong. There is no judgment of my left feet and I'm actually starting to get the patterns down. Dancing does not come easy to me, but I actually feel like I'm getting somewhere.

I really love this dance studio, they are so sweet, professional and patient with their students. My 14 year old son learned a lot in level 1, now looking forward to return for level 2
