My daughter wanted to attend classes. After asking around and hearing from one of her classmates parents we did a workshop class. She loved it. I ended up enrolling her and she seems to enjoy it. The teachers Ms. Scarlett and Ms. Sasha are both very kind and patient with the little ones. If your considering a school, I would highly recommend.

I’m a recreational adult dancer who has been dancing at New Orleans Dance Academy for over 5 years. I love this amazingly adult-friendly studio. Classes are targeted at adults of all levels (those with previous dance experience as well as complete novices) and the unique needs of adult dancers. I also love the friendly and incredibly supportive adult dancer community. My fellow classmates are there to work hard, but also to have fun and learn together. I started my dance journey at NODA with absolutely no dance experience and found a comfortable and supportive home where I have grown from someone who barely knew what to do with her ballet slippers to someone in pointe shoes who is able to support and help other novice dancers. I’m very excited to be participating in NODA’s ballet intensive and seeing their summer offerings including tap and contemporary. I highly recommend NODA for any adult considering dipping their toe into ballet. Hope to see you in class some day!

This school has a really cool environment that is located in the heart of Tulane University. Adult ballet classes are laid back but you learn a lot. The owner/instructor was a former professional dancer and she provides excellent instruction and corrections.
