this was top 3 experiences we did in nashville!!!! the family that runs this are so sweet!! and know how to make you have a great time!!! just make sure you wear some stompin shoes we had a huge party with us and as the group we got to pick which dance we wanted to learn after they showed us. they taught us three dances first one being the easiest and second one we got to spin and the third one went a little to fast for me but it was SOOO MUCH fun especially getting out of your comfort zone too. they offer water but i went through mine super quick so i recommend bringing a drink or getting some down at the bar, after they let us take pictures on the stage and they have a whole video of the entire group dancing which I didnt get but my next stop is to email them for it. soo worth the money soo cheap too i would have paid 50-60$ also if it helps i NEVER did line dancing and i still know the first easy dance after an hour lol.

So fun! A group of us went to a class during a friend’s bachelorette party. The instructors were so energetic and friendly, and showed us options of line dances to learn that we voted on (as a whole group, with everyone that attended the class that day). They even recorded us at the end and sent it to us, so we have the memory of being there and can remember what we learned, haha. I would definitely go again, the next time I’m in Nashville, to learn different line dances!

The way it was taught too was great because they added more steps little by little so it wasn't overwhelming and allowed us to get more practice in. I would absolutely recommend it to everyone! Great experience and well worth doing if you're visiting Nashville! Deffintely a highlight of our trip. My partner and I enjoyed the class and it was suited well for all levels and had attracted people of all ages. Can take beers up from the bar downstairs and the teachers provide free water. Alot of fun!

The stompin’ grounds gals were fantastic! They were energetic and motivating. They gave instructions for the dances in small chunks, reviewed, and monitored the classes’ progress before moving on. Everyone in the class was smiling and laughing the whole way, remembering the slogan ‘fake it till you make it’.

I booked a line dancing class for our birthday group trip as a surprise and we had a BLAST. The class was super fun and more of a workout than you'd think! The instructors and staff were all super nice and the assistant Jordyn was really organized and on top of confirming everything. The fun part is that these dances are sort of the universal dance for the song so later that night we got to put our skills to the test at the Broadway bars. The location was also super convenient so we just kept the party rolling. Highly recommend for a bday, bach, or fun event!

We were a party of 8 with all different levels of coordination- but not a trained dancer among us. We ALL had a blast at this class. Tessa and Dustin really broke down the moves in easily learnable pieces, and gave us plenty of chances to practice. There was no pressure to perform, and no one was ever made to feel like they couldn’t dance. We all just laughed and had fun! We also were able to help choose what dances we would learn. We also burned some serious calories- if you are counting!! The space was perfect for the dance lessons and/or grabbing a drink before, during, or after! All the pre-event communications were very clear and easy to coordinate! We bought boots next store and wore them right to dance class! This was a great way for us to start our weekend in Nashville!

Best Dance Class EVER. The class started with such a warm welcome and introduction of the team and what to expect. The group was about 20 people and it was a team of 4. One instructor was on the stage and microphoned so it was really easy to see the steps and easy to follow the instructions. Three different dances were performed by the team and afterwards the group could choose which one to learn. At all times it was so much fun and insanely enjoyable. Steps were broken down and explained. Having the other team members performing around you was much of help. Repetition finally brought success and with music it was so much fun. Time flew by and we learnt 2 dances. The team was at all times helpful, cheering, and breaking down steps over and over again and showing little tricks how to learn quicker or how to make it easier. Amazing experience, definitely a Must-Do on the list of things to do in Nashville. Joining by yourself is no problem at all and doesn't take away from the fun. I did it too and had a blast!! Go learn some Line Dance - it's a great experience!! I'd do it again next time in Nashville.

I was a bit nervous taking the class because I knew nothing about line dancing, but it's SO SO FUN! Dustin, Tessa, Jordyn, and Wyatt make the class enjoyable and structure the class so that it's easy to pick up the dances. It's a workout but worth the sweat! Would recommend 100%!

I booked this line dancing class during a trip to Nashville for a conference. I brought 2 friends. Then 2 other friends found out and joined as well. Tessa, Jordyn and the whole team were great. Excellent teachers, fun steps, and they were very patient. The class was crowded, so it was good to have a teacher in the front of the class, and another teacher in the back. I was in the back and thank goodness Jordyn was there to show us the steps. Music was nice, good variety. They provided bottled water too, which was very helpful and prevented us from getting dehydrated. Highly recommend!

We had such a BLAST in this class. Was in town for a bachelor party and I surprised our group of 10 guys with this lesson. I knew if I told them ahead of time they would have been less than thrilled but 10 minutes into the class they were so happy to be there. Half the guys usually dance with two left feet but even they were able to pick up on the three dances we all worked on. The best part is later that night we were out on the town and found ourselves in a bar with a huge dance floor. A few of us started to do the dance we learned earlier that morning and in a matter of moments, we had the entire floor of 60+ people following our dance. It was EPIC!

This place is awesome. We were late to class so we were in the back. I thought there is no way we'll see the dancing moves, but they thought of everything and had stages on both sides of the room so everyone was able to partake and follow the steps. They were kind enough to send a video too! That's above and beyond. Everyone in your group is able to get videoed and catch all the smiles while showing off your new moves. I recommend doing this class while in Nashville you'll have a lot of fun.

Awesome experience! Learned 3 different dances during our lessons and I was able to use them all at a bar downtown later that week when they played the same songs! They made the dances easy to learn and wanted our input throughout to make sure we were learning things we were excited about. A great time!

Tessa, Dustin and team were awesome! We booked for my sister’s bachelorette party and had such a fun time! We appreciated that it was private so we felt more comfortable since some of us (myself) are not very coordinated haha. Tessa took the time to ensure we understood the steps and gave personal pointers to us to help us with the dances. I would absolutely recommend and would love to take another class in the future. Jordyn was very communicative with me to ensure we received the video! I’m excited to watch it with the rest of the girls :)

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! I booked a line dancing class for my friends bachelorette party. Dustin and the rest of the staff was great communicating with me. If I needed anything or had any questions they always answered right away. They are the nicest people ever! The class was so much fun it made me want to go to more classes when I got back home to Florida! The value of the class was great! Not only do you learn the dances but they email you a video of your class as a great keepsake! Thank you so much for going out of your way and making our lunch dancing experience one we will never forget!

I had so much taking line dancing lessons. Our instructions were patient as they taught us 3 different line dances. They also provided free bottles of water to keep us hydrated. I highly recommend this activity if you like to have a good time and get a workout to boot!

We had a blast! 🤠. They took care of us, taught us some great moves, and all in a non-judgemental environment! A great workout too - heart rate ⬆️ And even though it was freezing cold outside, we were literally pouring sweat by the time class was over. For me personally, it felt really refreshing. Wish we could take classes on a weekly basis. Keep doing what your doing-you guys ROCK!

We were in Nashville for a friends 50th birthday. She wanted to do a line dancing class and we found Stompin Grounds through Airbnb. They were responsive from the beginning. The class was soooo much fun. The husband/wife duo took turns teaching us. They let us pick three songs and moves that were to our abilities. They had their son with them and he was darling. They took video and photographs of us using nice lighting and a barrel. We got photos same day and video two days later. They really did a great job! I’d highly recommend them!

I was honestly a little nervous to do this, didn’t know what the vibe would be, but once we got there we had SO much fun. The instructors did so well showing us step by step. We were way in the back so we couldn’t see very well but their assistant/ dancer stood right in front of us so we had a guide to see what the steps were. 10/10 If I ever go to Nashville again I will 100% do this class again.

Such fun! I organized this experience for my team. We were quite a large group (13) so I was a bit worried it would be too large to really work. Not at all the case! We all had so much fun and it was a great bonding experience. Tessa and Dustin were so patient with our group of varying skill levels; we all felt so comfortable. Had a great time at a group line dancing class with Tessa! So much fun! She broke down the dances very well and before you knew it we were all line dancing! Quick tip, bring bottled water and were short sleeves, you will be sweating when you are done! Would highly recommend!

This was an amazing experience!!!! We had SO MUCH FUN! I found myself smiling the whole time. It is a great form of cardio as I had my Fitbit on to see the impact. I’ll be watching my video at home to perfect the dance moves, as well as for cardio! When we left, my husband thanked me for experience which was shocking to me. We do different things all the time, but obviously this one hit a little different for him. Go wifey, go wifey!!! And for me when we left, I was performing the dances in other bars. I mean who was going to tell me it wasn’t perfected. I was feeling the beat and going with the flow! If you are in Nashville, this is a must book. The hosts are awesome and such a lovely family. We enjoyed their vibes!
