Wedding planning is stressful- Erika makes everything better :) not only did we dance like pros in a super natural, flowing manner for our first wedding dance, but we were able to have intentional time during lessons and practice leading up to the wedding. It quickly became our favorite time of the week. Erika is so kind, patient, and skilled and made things so much fun. Highly recommend!

Dance lessons with Erika were a highlight of our preparation for our May 2022 wedding. We originally purchased the Beginner series package with two private lessons. I think almost anyone could feel confident doing a beautiful first dance with that package, but we had so much fun we decided to continue to the Intermediate series. Erika is great at offering feedback and instruction, and she really helped us become great dance partners to one another. Our wedding first dance went perfectly and was also so much fun. Taking dance lessons was actually my husband's idea because he wanted to feel more confident for our first dance. I would not have thought to do it without his suggestion. While dance lessons may not seem like a "need" in an increasingly complex wedding planning process, the opportunity to connect with each other and learn something new together during our engagement was priceless. Erica is an amazing instructor! We had a private lesson for the father/daughter wedding dance. Erica taught at a great pace, was thoughtful and considerate of what we wanted, and made the class so fun for my dad and I! My dad even wants to do evening classes with my mom this winter. We can’t wait to showcase our moves in a couple of weeks! The Flying Pig is THE PLACE to have wedding dance lessons.

My then Fiancé (now husband) and I had an amazing time practicing for our first dance for our wedding! Erika was down to earth, easy going and fun to learn from. She choreographed our dance with beginner friendly steps and we just overall had an amazing experience for the 5 private lessons we did. I highly recommend the flying pig!!

Erika is an amazing dance instructor! My husband and I had never danced together before, and wanted to at least look like we knew what we were doing beyond the old middle school sway for our first dance at our wedding. We signed up for 5 lessons, but didn't even end up needing the last one. It was a little challenging because of COVID-19 restrictions. Erika couldn't dance with us herself to show us when we weren't getting the moves, but she did an excellent job breaking things down for us by having us watch her dance each part by herself. The most important thing is to practice (like she tells you to!). We practiced at least 3 times a week, and our efforts really payed off! Everyone loved our dance, and our first dance photos are amazing! Thanks so much Erika, we look forward to seeing you at another lesson in the future!
