My daughters have loved their first year at APA! The Tap & Ballet combo class for 3 and 4 year olds has been a great fit for our little ladies. They are excited to attend every week and have grown throughout the year in skill and confidence. I was very impressed with the organization and quality of the winter showcase of all class levels who preformed. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for our budding dancers.

My son has taken guitar lessons the past 4 years at APA. We have had two different teachers and both have been awesome! They are passionate about what they do and extremely patient with the students. The staff at the front desk are always cheery and helpful!

We're starting our 4th year at APA and couldn't be happier. The teachers are great and I can't say enough good things about communication as a whole. Our child started October 2019 and the way they handled and communicated all the transitions needed with COVID was amazing. The front desk is always so kind and helpful and you can tell everyone there genuinely loves to be there.

APA Oak Creek has been an amazing dance studio to start our dance experience with. All of the staff especially Ms. Julia have been incredible to work with. My Daughter has been attending dance lessons here for over 6 months, She absolutely loves the classes and teachers, the center's support staff are great with assisting Parents and notifying us of any changes or updates. the Dance Teachers genuinely care for the children and strive to create an inclusive, fun learning experience. Heartily recommend this location if you have a young one interested in dance or any of the Performing arts.

We have had our daughter in dance since she was 2.5 years old. She has enjoyed a variety of dance classes, and has had wonderful teachers!! She currently has Mr. Chris for 5th to 8 the grade Hip Hop and is having a blast! We highly recommend The Academy of Performing Arts!

My toddler daughter been on ballet class since almost a year and she loves her teacher Ms. Jamie and how fun the class is. We appreciate that APA gave us all the support to taking also our autistic boy to pre-ballet class providing a 1:1 assistant who is an older ballet student very patient with him. We have been with APA for 7 seasons an we love it.we started with Mommy and Me and are working our way to Jazz, Ballet, Hip hop, lyrical, and Poms! If any type of issue has appeared they have always done their best to resolve it as quickly as possible. I have definitely seen my daughter grow as a person and a dancer. One of the reasons we continue is because of Miss Heather. I really like her style of teaching and her personality. She encourages the kids to be creative but yet focused. The only negative feedback I have would be that all the kids should round robin and not just their favorite dancers should be in the front. It's very frustrating.

APA has been a wonderful first dance experience for my daughter and our family! Ms. Amy has been an exceptional first dance teacher to help my daughter become more independent and to love dance even more than she already does. She is patient, kind, caring, helpful, and knows how to keep classes moving with very young students. My daughter wouldn’t love dance as much as she does if it weren’t for her! The studio is very clean and organized and the communication about everything is perfect!

They offer a full range in dance from rec level classes to more competitive dance teams and solos, plus music and acting classes.

Our daughter has been attending APA dance for just about 5 years and it has been a wonderful experience! The staff is attentive, understanding, and you can tell they really enjoy what they do. Besides attending for dance, our daughter also attends for piano, and our youngest son for voice lessons as well. APA is like a second home to us and really appreciate all they do! Can’t forget how great Miss Trisha is with all of the students at the front desk! They love her to pieces and she makes the parents life’s a lot easier!

Initially I wanted a shorter dance class to see if my daughter even liked dance before we committed to anything longer and saw an ad about a mini session at APA. (She was 4 or 5 then) She loved it and could even dance on stage in a real show. It was a great way to introduce dancing to her without a ton of commitment. Since then we have done another mini session, a summer camp, and now we do dance once a week all school year long. The costume prices are reasonable (APA does a great job showing costs up front), the makeup (costume and hair too) expectations are appropriate and she is having fun. This year especially I think they are handling the challenges with Covid so well, it really is a testament to how professional, caring, and positive they are.

My daughter recently started tap/ballet at APA. She instantly fell in love with the class, her focus has improved and her confidence has grown. She is so incredibly proud of herself and her accomplishments each week! She also loves her teacher and we do as well. She is patient and thoughtful in all the different ways she teaches this groups of 3-4 year olds. She brings in props and activities to teach them the techniques they need to learn. We absolutely lobe it so far and can’t wait for their program in the spring/summer!

My daughter has a lot of energy at age 2.5, and this is her first experience in a class setting. She was so amazing and helpful. Not to mention the patience of a saint! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. UPDATE: My daughter is now 6! She still loves dance and we have had lots of different teachers. Every teacher is patient and kind, yet firm. I can't say thank you enough for reopening, it has been what she looks forward to the most every week!

Bellies are totally covered, instead of being two piece outfits.There is a variety of classes to take too! Ballet, tap, poms, jazz, hip hop, contemporary....there is something for everyone! My wife and I sent our daughter to APA when she turned 3 for their preschool program at Oak Creek. Her teachers Michelle and Lisa were fantastic and are state licensed teachers. Small class sizes (I believe 12 students max) with 2 teachers offers high personal attention to each child in class. I also like that they were exposed to dance, art, and tumbling during school. My daughter ended up enrolling in ballet & tap classes there as a result, starting her 3rd year with APA this fall. It is also nice that they use same dance costumes for spring and fall for each class to help keep costs down. We also just enrolled our 2 year old in dance class for this fall and I’m certain we will send her to APA for preschool next year. APA is a great organization with caring people who are generous stewards for the success of he schools and youth in the Oak Creek & Franklin communities!!!

The classes are structured, and the facility is clean and comfortable. We have no complaints, and plan to continue with classes there as long as my daughter is keeping her interest.

My daughter has been with APA since she was 3 years old . She is starting her 11th year at the studio this year. She has danced recreationally and now competively with them over the years. Her confidence improves year after year due to the time and effort given to her by the entire staff at the studio! I appreciate how available the staff is when I have questions or concerns. My daughter has not only gained incredible dance knowledge but life long friendships. The girls are taught at the studio to support each other no matter what and I love seeing her engage with all of the girls!

My daughter has been dancing at The Academy of Performing Arts for 5yrs. She has been able to learn tap, ballet, hip-hop, poms, and is now part of their competition team. My son was also able to take a hip-hop class when he was 4yrs old. All the teachers are great at what they do, and are very friendly. The winter and spring showcases are so organized, and such a treat to see. They hold a high standard for dancing. I would recommend this studio to anyone who is wanting to get their child in dance. They have many other services too, from acting, to guitar lessons, to preschool.

My daughter is 3. Last year she did the mommy and me ballet class and had a hard time adjusting. APA was so patient with her and continued to engage her even when she wasn’t participating. I also signed her up for the pre school and I can’t say enough about their program. The teachers are amazing. I will recommend over and over again!

My daughter is in her 7th year at APA, she has been dancing there since she turned 3 years old and just loves it. She is beginning her 4th year on the teams and really enjoys their program. She loves every teacher she has had and always talks about how they make her a better dancer. As a parent, I love the friendly environment, the friendly and helpful staff, and the wide range of class offerings that can fit anyone's budget and schedule. I also really appreciate how the studio gives back to the community. The studio hosts a variety of events that help to give back and that is important for the dancers to see. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are always willing to answer your questions and look into your question and get back to you. Staff members, both office and instructors are very professional, accommodating, encouraging and appreciative of their students and families. My daughter is 9 years old and has been in dance for almost 7 years. 5 years at a different local dance school and 2 years at APA Oak Creek. We decided to make the switch after many years, to APA and my daughter absolutely loves it! My daughter takes singing/piano, rec dance, acro and her 1st year of competitive dance. She loves the competition team and we feel APA is a great fit for her. She has been more motivated since starting at The Academy of Performing Arts - Oak Creek, and focused on improving, rather than just an afterschool activity. The nice thing about APA is they do have different levels, so if you just want to do one night a week for an hour, you can. If you want to be there 5 days a week, you can do that too! Everyone is so friendly and caring (teachers, students, parents and Trisha). My daughter has made many new friends already and loves all of her teachers. The school and staff are very informative and do a great job with communicating dates, fees, classes, performances and recitals.

The communication is great, and the staff and teachers truly care about the students. We also really enjoy that they keep their recitals a decent length; at our old studio, the recitals were 3-4 hours each which is very difficult if you have little ones!

She has had the same piano teacher every year, which I like for consistency (and because she is a great teacher!). She has tried a different dance class each year for variety and has enjoyed every one. All of the teachers have been great. Stacy & the front desk staff are amazing - they always help or answer any questions I have quickly & they are so friendly. A monthly newsletter is e-mailed to help you keep track of important dates & info. APA gives back so much to its students & the community with birthday treats, recital books, holiday events, and community partnership events & drives. I feel that the class prices are a great value, we receive a multi-class discount and the same dance recital outfit is used for both the December & June recital. There is never any pressure to perform in a recital, it is all voluntary. My daughter enjoys APA so much that she has performed in every piano & dance recital available to her. The bottom line is that our family has been extremely happy with APA & all that they offer.

The class sizes are small. APA is well organized and keeps you updated with monthly newsletters with great detail on upcoming events, field trips and outreach. My daughter dances at the Franklin location and I can't say enough about the wonderful experience we have had here. At first entrance to the studio the staff is smiling and friendly and quickly learned my daughters name and always addresses her when we walk in the door. The teachers are professional, smiling, and run exceptional dance classes. My daughter loves dancing and looks forward to this class every week and I truly believe this is because of the care at this studio. The classes are small in size and I get to watch from a two way glass window which is so great for me!! I will send my daughter to this studio as long as she wants to dance!

They use the same costumes for both winter and spring showcases, they don’t force you to spend a ton of money on multiple costumes. The instructors are so patient and caring. All of the APA staff and teachers are nothing but professional and always have the best interests of their students in mind. The staff is extremely helpful and approachable. My two daughters have been a part of the APA family for over 10 years and I feel so blessed to have them in our lives. The teachers are supportive and tough when needed but so caring when there may be an issue. I trust the teachers will teach my daughter with their whole heart and when I see them perform, I am so amazed at yet another beautiful awesome dance routine. I have to give extra props to Trisha because without this AMAZING woman, I would be lost. She is THE most helpful, sweet person and I truly know that APA could not run without her. My daughter just started her 6th year at The Academy of Performing Arts in Oak Creek. Every year there is a winter showcase and a spring showcase where your child can perform in one or more shows. There is also and opportunity to be in the Franklin or Oak Creek parade which my daughter has done for the last five years. Before she came here, she danced at Next Step in Franklin where she was treated like a number. After 3 years there, her dance teacher still didn't know her name and then made her repeat a class two years in a row without an explanation. If you needed to ask a question, you were lucky to find a staff person working. Then we found out about the Academy so we switched and it was a completely different experience! All the girls are treated with respect and kindness no matter what level of dancer they are. The dance teachers are very experienced and talented and make the classes fun for everyone. They don't discriminate... you can bring your son too! The staff is always there to help and they are really friendly. Stacy, the owner, is very involved in the studio and keeps adding new classes and events every year. This year there was a pot luck lunch in the park where all the dancers and parents could bring food and get to know each other. There are also fundraisers that you can participate in that help with your monthly tuition cost. The classes are reasonably priced and you get a discount with each additional class you take. There is a wide range of classes to take- breakdancing, hip-hop, ballet, tap, jazz, poms, piano, guitar, voice, acting and more. My daughter is on a competitive team where she gets to compete at different locations throughout the year. She loves her dance teacher and the girls she dances with. They also have another studio in Franklin which just opened last year. I highly recommend this studio for your child. I have not had one bad experience here.

APA has an amazing staff that is always well organized and even more important, incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome. They are always happy to help you select a class, answer questions, and provide the best experience. The recitals are absolutely amazing! Last year's Newsies was incredible! I'm still amazed on how well of a production they put on. APA is an amazing studio that offers great classes and you will feel part of a family.

I grew up in a dance family, so I knew exactly what I needed for my sweet little girl: a positive first experience that would get her excited about dance. We got exactly that at APA. We took the parent and tot class together when she was two, just finished the pre-ballet summer program, and she is so excited to start the three-year-old combo class in two weeks. Ms. Amy is the absolute best with young kids, and the studio has organization down to a fine science. I never could’ve imagined the recital process (Spring “Showcase”) being so smooth and seamless with such a large studio, but it certainly was. And I’m also continually impressed by their flexibility with make up lessons. We are looking forward to many more years with APA!

Unfortunately we had to move further away after that first year and jumped from studio to studio trying to find that same experience we had with The Academy. This year we decided to travel to Oakcreek so she could dance with the competitive dance team at The Academy. She absolutely loves it and has already shown improvement just in the first couple of weeks. The studio is so organized, helpful and informative. All the teachers are well prepared and knowledgeable in their art. We are feeling very relieved that we are back at The Academy. We can't wait for the competitions and recitals this year!!!

We found this studio when my older daughter wanted to take acting class. My younger daughter took a dance class because she thought it would be fun. That was over 3 years ago. My son Gavin has been attending The Academy of Performing Arts since they first opened. He loves dancing and he loves how caring and friendly the staff are. He was asked to join two other dance schools but turned them down. He did not want to leave The Academy. He started in ballet/jazz, then went to boys hip hop. Now he is on the competitive dance team. He has gained a lot of confidence and the ability to express himself in front of peers without feeling self conscience. Gavin has to juggle little league, the traveling baseball team, basketball, football and hip hop. But he does not want to give up hip hop. He has been attending for 7 years and plans on staying there. I love that the staff knows us and is very helpful and understanding with different situations that have risen. I definitely would recommend this school to anyone that asks. Thank you Academy of Performing Arts, Jamie and Stacy... :)
