Lessons with Ms. Kara

This school is phenomenal! We love our lessons with Igor, an accomplished ball room professional dancer. They are so talented, so warm and friendly, and such amazing teachers. As a teacher and business owner, I recognize when a business is healthy and under great leadership. This school will continue to grow and flourish thanks to their passionate mission of sharing dance with every level, every size, and every age. We love them! Do yourself a favor and go try a lesson, while they are more expensive than other studios, they give quality, memorable experiences I’ve never had with other cheaper studios. They are top notch, from their decor, to their highly accomplished teachers, to the quality of their location. I could really go on and on.

I've been taking lessons here since they open this location in March, and if there's one thing that I could applaud them for, it's the quality of the instructors. The ones I have worked with bring strong experience and wisdom to their lessons. They know how to balance humor and teaching. I've never left a written review before today, so I have no idea what I'm saying, but I can vouch for everyone at this location. If you're in the Oak Creek area and looking for dance lessons, I guarantee you that it will be worth it.

WOW WOW WOW!! Fred Astaire Dance Studio - Oak Creek, WI, is AMAZING!! My parents ballroom danced for many years. As a youngster, they tried to teach us the basics but had to compete with sports. Sports won my attention. UPDATE 12/16/22: AMAZING performances during the Holiday party! These instructors are World class dancers. Daniel flows as a brook, from an ice melt, caressing the rocks so effortlessly, with style points extraordinaire! Igor is precise and purposeful on every step! Anastasiia is poetry in motion! Students, with their dance coaches, demonstrated their learned skills to awe the party. Well done! Well done! Bravo!!! I'm a beginner at formal dancing and have grown tired of sitting out dance opportunities....(weddings and such). Fred Astaire Dance Studio is perfect for all skill levels. Anastasiia is my new instructor. My first lesson, four dance patterns, was fun. Anastasiia was ever so pleasant and professional and reminded me, during the lesson, to smile. Looking forward to the next lesson...!!

My fiancé and I decided to step out of our comfort zone and take dancing lessons as an effort to prepare for our first dance at our wedding. I was nervous about not knowing any of the choreography, but they’ve both made it easy to follow along. This place is exactly what I hoped it would be. This is a fun place to learn how to dance without being judged. Their classes and private instructors are awesome! They’ve given me the skills and confidence to become a decent dancer. You can come for the social parties or group classes and dance the night away while building a community. They have classes for the absolute beginners to the advanced. The instructors are amazing! The Oak Creek location is an amazing dance studio. All the instructors are extremely talented and helpful to people of all ages and skill. They have lots of group classes every week in many dance styles. Shout out to my instructor Veronika! Veronika is always a bundle of energy and enthusiasm. She explains things clearly and built up the routines step by step. Her feedback is very positive and she wants to see you succeed as long as you put forth the effort. The music she utilizes is a variety of music. If you stay around long enough, you’ll be sure to meet Igor, Anna, Dymytrii, Mykyta, and Anastasiia. The entire staff is world class and will make you feel right at home!

I have been taking lessons with Fred Astaire for 5 years. Anna Krasnoshapka and Mykyta Serdyuk have been my instructors and fantastic owners of the Pleasant Prairie studio since I started. I also have known Dymytrii Goncharov and Veronika Shapar Fads Pro for many years as well and you will not find a better team!
