We hired Sophia to choreograph our first dance and she did such an amazing job. We did the ten class pack. Every class she would add a little more. We loved showing up to class- it was so fun and like a little weekly date leading up to the wedding. We had a lot of compliments on our dance and when you watch the video back you can hear the guests oohing and ahhing. The dance was so romantic and she did a good job making it flow and not making it seem too staged or cheesy. We also got a lot of good photos, as she plans moments to be captured within the dance. Thank you so much Sophia!

We could not be happier with our dance classes with Sophia!! I've always wanted to do a choreographed wedding dance with a mashup of songs and was referred to Sophia from a friend who also choreographed their wedding dance with her. She was very helpful in the whole process, from choosing songs to figuring out what type of dance would go well with each. We had a lot of fun both in practice and when we performed in front of our guests. We did the 10 class wedding package, where the first few classes were filled with learning different types of dances that we could incorporate and the remaining classes were dedicated to chipping away at the choreography and refinement. I never took dance, so it was really helpful to listen to her tips of how to look more elegant on the dance floor and how to prepare for the big day. We were fortunate enough to pack a lot into each session, so I always felt we made a lot of progress each day. I would definitely recommend Sophia's dance lessons!

Coming to this class and getting lessons from Sophia I have learned quite a bit of new dance lessons. The one that stuck out the most and that I enjoyed learning was Salsa. When it comes to going out and going to a club at my age you feel a little bit out of place because the dance moves are limited and a bit redundant so I wanted to learn something other than just your typical bump and grind. After taking many lessons I have learned and appreciated the complexity what it takes to do other dance that are quite fun. One of the best parts was making friends in Sophia's dance classes along the way. It was a great experience and great lessons that I can take with me for the rest of my life. Sophia makes learning dance easy and she teaches it step-by-step and breaks it down easy to understand. I would highly recommend taking a class if you have never danced before and want to learn some new steps.

Sophia is amazing. We wanted to do something special and more than the traditional 2-step for our first dance at our wedding and starting classes with Sophia was such a good decision! Our guests were very impressed, and I must say we were impressed with ourselves as well! We took 10 classes over the course of about 6 months. Sophia choreographed a dance to our song that we were comfortable with, but one that also pushed us to do moves we didn't think we were capable of. My now husband and I have no dancing experience, but on our wedding day you would never guess that . Sophia is such a sweetheart and is very experienced in what she does. Sophia is amazing. My fiancee and I took dance classes with her, for 10 weeks, so that way we could dance competently at our wedding. The dance she came up with, for us, is awesome. She made sure to go over everything in exquisite detail (as many times as needed as I really do have 2 left feet haha). I can not say enough good things about Sophia! After getting engaged, I was really nervous about dancing at my wedding. Sophia is a wonderful dancer, instructor, and just an all around great person to know! She took my fiance and I from complete "what am I doing here" novices to busting out a personalized and fully choreographed dance with confidence, and in only 10 lessons! Our first dance for our wedding was a huge success, and we were surprised by how much we enjoyed the process. Prior to this, neither he nor I knew what we were doing and didn't really care to be in the spotlight. Somehow she brought the best out in us, and we are hooked. Private lessons = phenomenal, but her group classes are great too, and so much fun! Really practical knowledge for competitive AND social dancing. I found Sophia through searching online for Salsa lessons. I was surprising my boyfriend, an ex salsa instructor, for our anniversary so I wanted to begin as soon as possible. Sophia was the only studio out of four to contact me back and did so on the same day! She is very flexible and accommodating as we were able to begin my private lessons that same week! She is patient and very thorough in her explanations of each dance and each dance move. Sophia can seamlessly transition from the leader to show me how to feels to be lead in a dance move to the follower to show me exactly what my feet, legs, body and arms need to do and what it should feel like. She has a deep understanding of each dance, a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Latin and Ballroom dancing including Bachata, Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing, Tango and many more. She invited me to attend the Thursday evening group classes and it has greatly improved my coordination and squashed my fear of social dancing. What is great about the Thursday evening is that everyone is typically a beginner so everyone is on the same page! I am also able to learn dances that we do not go over in my private lessons including Waltz and Two Step. It took me 4 years to work up the courage to finally learn how to dance, but I don't know why I didn't start sooner! Sophia makes each lesson and group class so enjoyable for everyone and I always look forward to it. I smile and laugh every time because I'm having so much fun - even in my early morning lesson before work at 7:00 a.m.! I'm really thrilled at my own progress and my boyfriend loves Sophia for teaching me so well and so many moves! I can't say enough good things about Sophia, so if you have ever thought about learning to dance, don't wait and call her today!

Sophia was super helpful and was able to make someone like me (with two left feet) look good on the dance floor! We had so much fun, and I got a big kiss from my wife at the end of the night! Taking ballroom dance lessons has always been on my wife's bucket list, so I decided to surprise her for our anniversary. The dance lessons ended up being a great gift idea, and my wife loved it. We initially signed up for the 10 Lesson Dance Challenge which included ten private dance lessons and unlimited group classes at the studio. Sophia gave us the opportunity we needed to make dancing an enjoyable hobby and a fun idea for date night. So far we have learned basic steps in a variety of ballroom and latin dances, as Sophia does well exposing you to the go-to moves. We even discovered that we enjoyed Latin dancing and swing. If you are looking to hire a dance instructor that clicks or to book dance lessons, this dance school has it going on. In addition to tackling our exercise and fitness goals, we have been able to make friends with other beginner dancers and enjoy Sophia's dance outings as a group activity. Dance lessons have become a bonding activity that sparked our romantic relationship (even better than couples therapy), especially now that I have confidence to dip my wife on the dance floor like a boss.

My experience with Sophia has been so incredibly exciting and rewarding that it is difficult to put it into words. First, I am a 65 year old gentleman that has been power lifting for over 10 years, and although I am athletic I am not exactly graceful in my movements, I also have stiff and injured shoulders that make arm movements awkward at best. Next I have one leg 3 inches shorter than the other due to a motorcycle accident. With all that working against me I signed up with Sophia to learn how to dance. Sophia began by teaching me the fundamentals, the proper way to hold a woman while dancing, the posture, the basic steps to each dance. Sophia than took the time to teach me each move of a dance, she is extremely patient, always smiling and encouraging even when correcting my mistakes (which was often). Sophia is as Graceful as she is Beautiful, and although I gave her plenty reasons, she never got frustrated, never failed to praise and congratulate me when I eventually got the moves correct. I also began to attend Sophia's dance class where she teaches a group a different dance every week, and arranges to take the group to Social Dance Events that she calls field trips. This allows members of the class the opportunity to dance with other people in a social environment. During one of these event I took the opportunity to dance with several women and was truly amazed at the fact that although these women had been taking lessons for much, much longer than myself, it was still necessary for me to tell these women how to properly hold me in order to dance gracefully. Their instructors had not taught them the basic fundamentals that Sophia was insistant upon in the beginning of my lessons. And finally, Sophia has encouraged me to enter the Pan/Am NV Ball DANCESPORT Championships held at the M Casino Resort in Las Vegas on August 18th 2016. After only a little over 4 months of taking dance instruction from her. Sophia was my partner and we entered the beginner class in Latin Dance. We danced 6 dances, and we placed 1st in ALL 6, I cannot stress how incredible Sophia is. I have not only learned how to dance, I have learned Latin dances, Ballroom dances, and Club dances in very short period of time, and I have placed first in a dance competition that I would otherwise never even considered entering. Sophia is without a doubt The Very Best Dance Instructor on the entire West Coast, call her if you wish to learn how to dance, or if you wish to improve your dance skills, you will NOT regret it. Over time, I had occasion to see Sophia with other students, and how different her lessons were with each student, depending on their needs. Sophia in Sapphire is a wonderful new asset to Las Vegas. As a novice, I was a little worried about taking dance lessons and I imagined the worse possible result. However, within five minutes of my first dance lesson, Sophia got my two bum left feet moving. In the first lesson alone she was able to teach me the basic steps to several ballroom dances. She is a world class dancer and instructor. Her studio in Las Vegas is very clean and the dance floor is nicely done. The studio even has a café in it for people who need a little caffeine in the afternoon. If you are planning on getting married, you should consider taking ballroom dancing with Sophia. I promise that you will not regret it.

If you want to learn to dance, look no further! I am a middle-aged woman who had given up on learning to dance, having tried a big name studio in the past. In just 6 lessons, Sophia has given me confidence and taught me several dances! She is patient and knows that everyone learns differently, so she adapts the lessons to you. The packages include 10 private lessons and 10 group beginner lessons to practice with a variety of dance partners, who are all very nice people. Trust me: it is MUCH better for a woman to learn from another woman, because she can teach you the woman's part in detail and also lead when you practice.

There should be another star to give Sophia In Sapphire. She's that good. I have taken the 10 Lesson Dance Challenge and I LOVED IT!!! Its a package of 10 private lessons and 10 beginner group classes. So, I signed up for another 10 lessons afterwards and now can say I am a long term student dancing with Sophia In Sapphire three times a week in the classroom and more importantly... dancing confidently in real-life social situations!!! Dance has now become a hobby of mine. The lessons are VERY AFFORDABLE and the instruction is fun and easy to learn even though I have never had any dance instruction before. I am a professional musician and DJ who has performed at hundreds of weddings. I got interested in learning how to dance after watching a bride and groom share their 1st dance and was blown away at the elegance and style! It was like a scene from a movie! Sophia teaches 1st Dances to wedding couples and makes their moment look spectacular. When I found out she teaches group classes and private lessons I immediately became interested and attended a free class with the intention of just watching. When the class started I saw that it was so easy that I joined in and actually met other people who wanted to learn. The class went by fast and by the end I had learned the basics of Salsa and Bachata. I am now learning basics in Rumba, Swing, Two Step, Cha Cha, Waltz, and The Hustle. I wish I had started learning how to dance years ago. I get to meet and dance with ladies and it has improved my confidence. Hey, You gonna do this or what? Sophia is the best!!!. If she can take a country boy from Montana with two left feet and teach him how to dance no I mean to really dance than this is the girl. She is beautiful, intelligent, professional, passionate, down to earth, the real deal, and wow can she dance. And you know what she can break it down so you can also. Her lessons were a birthday present to myself and she made it the best damn present I ever received. You won't regret for one minute that you let her give you the guidance you need. Long story short: absolutely worth it. Just do it, nerd! Long story long: Dance to me is like... well, imagine stopping at saloon in the middle of a 2 month horse ride for the coast. You shoot some whiskey that smells like death and head to bed so you can ride out in the morning. But then imagine, getting stopped on the way up by a lady of the night, Anabelle. She's so beautiful that she seems out of place in the dingy saloon. She promises the best night's rest of your life and you can't resist that pitch. Later, you spend the whole night just talking. Turns out, Anabelle has a razor sharp sense of humor and you want all the same things in life. You get each other excited about what y'all can do, and when the sun rises. You know that you would be kicking yourself for the rest of your life if you rode out of her life just like that. All that kicking would be bad for your bum knee anyway so you decide then and there that you're staying. You can't promise Anabelle the world, but you do promise to dedicate yourself to giving her everything you can. I'll spare you the romantic details, but you somehow convince Anabelle to be your wife and you buy a small plot of land 20 miles north of the saloon you met. You and Anabelle raise 4 beautiful and healthy children. Yeah they might pick their noses and touch you with their filthy hands, but they do their chores around the ranch and say their prayers. You realize then, that your life is balanced and you are at peace. You look back and think about how you almost rode out that saloon and lived a different life. In that moment you get a sense of satisfaction from having made the right choice. Kids, Anabelle is dance. She's a woman that you never expected to be in your life but damnit, now that she's here you have to give her as much as you can. So really, it boils down to 2 different types of people: those who rode off in the morning and think about her from time to time... and those who decided to change course, and took the chance to find peace. The end... or is it the beginning?? P.S. Sophia is a fantastic teacher. I have a crippling desire to do everything the right way and she's been patient while giving me as much technique as I can handle. She's also funny and a peach to be around.
