I’ve taken salsa and bachata lessons on the west and east coast, and the Midwest. Jose is by far the best instructor I’ve had. He’s funny, patient and his style of teaching makes so much sense, it makes learning the different dances so much fun. Very welcoming and friendly group of students too :)

I had such a great time at this studio. My first day was so much fun. The instructor Jose is so kind; plus he’s a great teacher. The first class is FREE and you don’t have to sign up if you don’t want to. It is so fun, that you’ll end up signing up on the spot. I mean it’s $50 per month for 40 classes and a TONE of FUN! Who wouldn’t want that! I can’t wait to explore more and become the best dancer out there 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Jose and Amy you’re the best ❤️

The owner has a great personality that makes the class so much fun, lowest monthly price I ever seen especially in Las Vegas!!! Other dance studios in Vegas don't care if your having fun, connecting to the music or learning information plus most places are overpriced. I love how during the class the owner gives little history lesson about the dances he teaches.....which makes so much sense.why learn the steps to a dance but not know the history....I never been to a dance class that I leave feeling smarter because after all the knowledge that was giving. I 1000 percent recommend trying this place out!

I've always wanted to learn to dance with my wife, but have always been too intimidated. My wife and I were invited to Jose's free dance class and immediately after, we signed up for memberships! It was awesome! Fun, hard, informative and best of all we felt so welcomed! Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn new dance styles or get back into dance. Jose is really fantastic with explaining the moves and helping you understand the culture, music and counting!

My girlfriend and I have been taking Jose's class for a couple months now and are absolutely loving it. I like the way he teaches, I am a beginner and he explains very well. Now the price is unbeatable. Currently it's $50 for a month of unlimited classes. You can't beat that for the value you'll get here. Don't take my word for it, go try it out for yourself!

It was amazing, I really enjoy it, it was hard at the beginning because I've always danced another style of salsa but he told to everybody, I teach salsa 2, around the world you can dance this kind of salsa, so he is teaching the best of salsa. José is the best, he taught step by step, he's fun and very patient.

Jose Velez at Feel the Music Dance Studio is the best Salsa instructor I've trained under. If you're new at salsa, he makes learning the dance moves as easy as walking. Literally. I can't say the same about most other instructors I've trained with here in Vegas. At the time of this writing, he also teaches Merengue and Bachata, tuition for a month's worth of classes is $50 and there are no long-term commitment contracts or sign up fees. This is like the equivalent of a black friday doorbuster sale!

I am 49 years old and have never danced before. My gf and I were in Vegas for a vacation. I didn't know if I would like dancing or even if I could. We took a private lesson for salsa and I could not be more impressed with José, his studio and his staff. My gf and I had a great time and we will definitely keep taking lessons together. I would suggest taking private lessons here for anyone. José's personality and energy was only matched by his skill in teaching salsa. He seemed to know exactly how work with my partner's and my personality to get us dancing within a session.

Amazing classes for anyone who wants to learn Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue !! Reminds me of the "Learning for Dummies" books in Barnes n Noble, because Jose breaks down the steps to where anyone with absolutely no experience at all can learn extremely fast and keep up with the best of 'em on a dance floor !! Finally, found a real coach!! I don't want to repeat the good words that others have already written, which collectively depict an idea about the experience to the students. Jose designed the lessons in such a way to reach the brain and muscle memory and delivers it in a benevolent but stringent manner!! An ardent student who misses this class is like a patient who missed life saving medicine :)
