Syd helped me sort my way through the plethora of tailoring options (all of which was totally new to me) and find a look that's uniquely me. They listened to me, but I also felt like they were always giving me their sincere, honest opinion. First let me start by saying this location is in an easily accessible location with great local attractions nearby. Upon entering the store my Dad and I were greeted by our Sales Associate Shane. He walked us through the entire suit purchasing process. He helped my Dad choose the perfect worsted wool fabric. Class act & stellar performance by Shane. Already being well versed in men's fashion, it came to my surprise how ill prepared I was when it came time to buy a suit. Between colors, fabrics, sizing and accessories I was lost. Shane was knowledgeable and lead me in every direction that resulted in my best fashion purchase off 2022 hands down! Two words to describe Shane, “Amazing + Patient!” The store was super busy and my husband and I weren’t privy that we had an option to book an appointment ahead of time. I simply walked in a novice and felt like an expert when I walked out. Not only did Shane accommodate us and give us so much knowledge about the brand, fabrics, and proper fit but he also accommodated his appointment at the exact same time. I’ve owned a few SuitSupply suits and the quality is top notch. I went in today (12/28,) in need of a new suit in a pinch. The sales associate, Bobby, was incredibly helpful. The process was efficient and fun. Bobby was very hands on and helped me pick out a new suit which I love. Great suits at reasonable prices. I’ve come in the store a few times now and Kevin has been very patient with me especially as I was trying on different suits for wedding coming up. Bobby at Suit Supply Bobby is a top-notch sales professional who is respectful, attentive, charming, and organized. The experience he provided was beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a suit, or new style, to book an appointment with him if he is available. When my wife and I arrived, we were promptly greeted by a gentleman named Yusuf. He was very kind and explained that Bobby was finishing up with another customer and we were welcome to sit, and he would bring us drinks as we waited. After only a few moments, Bobby was free to assist me. He had already looked over the notes I had left on the website, so knew what I was looking for, this helped streamline the process and give me more time to try on cloths. I was able to try many looks in the hour that I had scheduled with Bobby, he talked me through the different shirts, jackets, and trousers, and would give good criticism when something didn’t look or fit right. I never felt rushed or intimidated and was given the time needed to make the proper decisions and adjustments to the attire I was there to try on and purchase. Towards the end of the hour, I had picked out 2 trousers, 2 Shirts, and a Grey Havana Jacket, the trousers were a size 30 and needed the waist let out, which they were able to do right there in the store in about an hour. The store has great clothing, but it was the experience that Bobby provided that will keep me coming back to this location. Thanks Again, Lance

Second suitsupply suit and their quality of service and suits makes them review worthy. In, out, easy with no rush and excellent care from Kendrick and Sam. You feel you are in good hands the whole time and the vertical integration makes for excellent value for a suit you feel good in. While they clearly have put careful thought into all aspects service design from text check in to mobile appointment scheduling and upfront pricing, the folks in the store take it to the next level. I like neither shopping nor shopping for suits, but Kendrick and Sam bring a level of care and kindness that makes the experience a pleasure - they got me into a great new suit and helped me salvage another one. Kudos to Dayquan for building an awesome team. I’ll be returning for future suit needs.

Shane was amazing! My brother and I scheduled an appointment with Shane to purchase his first suit for his friend's wedding. Suit Supply amazed me with the bright lights, cool playlist, and variety of suits to choose from. Shane was super patient, cool, stylish and very knowledgable. Not only did Shane keep the champagne flowing and drinks coming he educated my brother and I for the perfect suit for the wedding. I had the most fantastic experience at Suitsupply thanks to Omid and Carl. I am a short guy with a bit of muscle so finding suits off the rack is almost impossible for me, so I had one custom made. First, I was greeted by Carl and offered an assortment of beverages and made to feel very welcome. Then I met with Omid for my fitting, and he was a joy to work with. He helped me pick out everything from the styling, the fabric, down to the buttons. It only took just over two weeks for the suit to be finished (I didn't have a rush date) and the second fitting was a huge success. Omid was incredibly knowledgeable and offered great advice when I felt a little lost on what styles would work best for my body type. I HIGHLY recommend seeking him out for your next suit, I know I will be going back for more once I am able to!

I got a fully custom tuxedo for my wedding here at the Georgetown location in DC and it is gorgeous. I had wanted a blue tuxedo and nobody in the area seemed to understand that midnight blue wasn't what I wanted. I walked into Indochino down the street first and explained what I wanted but was told that despite all of the fabrics they have on the wall that tuxedos could only be made in a select few which is ludicrous. The only difference between a tux and a suit is the satin/silk lapels, buttons, trim and line down the pants. I walked out and wandered into suitsupply and got exactly what I wanted. Their custom fabric selections are wonderful and expansive and all of the little details were superb. The experience was wonderful and personalized. My tuxedo, vest and shirt all fit perfectly and I even went back to go get a set of black tuxedo pants later. They are typically very busy so make an appointment if you go, I was lucky that they weren't busy when I went(it was right when stores were starting to open up again in 2021).

I learned SO much from my new style advisor, Jake...he taught me the importance of proportions, differences between different cuts of suits, what to look for in the details, what it means to "pull off" a look, and how to find a fit that expresses who I am instead of just looking like another guy wearing a nice suit. Great location with decent parking options. Large store with plenty of suits in stock for all sizes. We came to the store late for our appointment and Adam was very accommodating even though he had another appointment scheduled after ours. I purchased a suit here back in 2014, and really loved it. It no longer fits me, so I recently returned to upgrade. I initially purchased another ill fitting suit. I went home feeling somewhat deflated by the experience. I returned the following weekend and was helped by Jacob. Jacob offered amazing customer service. Not only was he knowledgeable and professional, but he was also super stylish and fun to work with. Jacob helped me find a suit that I loved. It took me a a significant amount of time to figure out what I wanted, and how to get my suit to fit the way I wanted, but Jacob was extremely patient with me and helpful above and beyond what is expected. Makes it a lot easier to spend the kind of money it takes to get a whole new suit, shirts, tie, shoes, and belt. Well worth it after all the trouble I had getting set up. If you are in the market for a suit, request an appointment with Jacob at suit supply. You won't regret it! Amazing customer service. I'll be back.

It was a great experience! Online reviews here and elsewhere made the service sound hit or miss, but they did a great job from the first minute I was in the store! Everyone was really friendly and took their time to help me find the line that provided the best fit. I didn't expect anyone to come up and offer help and just wanted to check out the fits, but I was immediately greeted by a service woman before I even pulled the first jacket off the rack. She then called over for some additional help when she wasn't sure and made sure I was taken care of. I was really impressed! In addition to the service, the suits themselves were great. I've never had a suit fit so well right off the rack. I only needed a couple alterations. It's a great value for the quality and cut. I will definitely be back for my next suit and will recommend them to anyone I know looking for a suit. Maybe I caught them on a not-so-busy day or maybe they have improved their service. Either way, they were much better than anticipated.

Kevin is amazing - he is the sole reason for our purchase and the only reason this review is not a 1 star. We had an unplanned trip to SuitSupply this Sunday, and we have never been made to feel more uncomfortable in a store. The other sales associates were off-putting and rude. We were continuously brushed past and bumped into by associates. We checked in and as we browsed, Kevin (who made it very clear that he was tending to a client) is the only person who took a second to answer our questions and asked if we were ok. He is the only reason we didn't walk out. To the gentleman responsible for the check-ins, I believe his name is Dayquan, your snarky attitude is unpleasant. I felt as though we were being reprimanded. You made us so uncomfortable. We could care less about your internal processes, Dayquan could use some training - there's no work to divvy up without customers. Dayquan proceeded to "correct" his colleague in front of us and felt the need to tell us how wrong he was. If he is a manager, he is terrible. While we ended up leaving with the suits, sports jackets, ties, and shirts that Kevin recommended, we ultimately chose to cut our visit short because we were required to switch associates, which made no sense as the new associate was also splitting his time between us and another couple. We spent over $2500 and I've received better service at the DMV.

Purchased my first custom suit. The entire process was seamless from start to finish. My suit came out perfect! Jared helped me with suggestions on specifics that I didn't know much about to ensure I got the best fit. I absolutely love my suit. I will definitely be a return customer. Everyone I chatted with there was incredibly kind and helpful.

Just recently I had the idea to visit SuitSupply this morning, after taking time off from work to decompress, and spend time running errands, where I saw the brick and mortar store in Georgetown. I entered into the establishment and was in aw by the aesthetics of the store, the lighting as well as how all the employees were dressed addressing customers needs attentively and the like. I "B" lined to the right hand of the store to look for my coveted suit choice, The Mid Blue Stripe Havana Suit. Upon walking by an associate of this SS greeted me while sympathetically dressing another customer's suiting needs and questions. After finishing up with them, he immediately began speaking with me about what my personal needs were, and what brought me to the store. After retorting, giving context as to why I was there, Jared sprang into action, looking for the suit with my specific sizing needs, 40 regular finding it in the back. He showed me to the fitting room, still inquiring if I was sure my blazer size was a 40 reg, to which I assured him. In the fitting room I tried the blazer on with it fitting perfectly as possible from an off the rack suit could be, with the exception of the arms being a touch too short, both he and I noticed and stated almost in tandem that it was such. The pants were quite large, as I am a 31 waist, he pinned them down to my exact measurement requirements, giving input as well as to what his thought process was. All in all Jared is an excellent associate, who is sympathetic to customer needs, working with you to ensure the suit is to your liking, not to his thought process. If you are thinking about going to SS please do visit this showroom and ask for Jared. He will take good care of you.

He was also incredible at multi-tasking since he was juggling several clients at once. Great and highly efficient service. Thanks so much! Went here for the first time today after having a bad experience at the Suitsupply at Tyson's Galleria: I was supposed to get a suit altered this past Sunday and had an appointment at 5pm. I arrived at 4:55pm, style advisor told me he wasn't aware of my appointment at 5:20pm and apologized for the wait and that he would see me shortly. Its now 5:40pm, and I'm still not seen by my style advisor and now just wasted 45 minutes waiting around. I grabbed the suit that was delivered to the store and told them I would be going elsewhere to get my suit altered. Fast forward to today. I had an appointment with Anju at 11:30am. I arrived at the store early at 11:20am. Anju greets and welcomes me to the store upon arrival. Told her I have an appointment with her to get my suit altered. WIthout wasting any time, we begin the appointment, I get dressed into my suit, and Anju takes measurements and makes sure that every piece of the suit fits me properly. The pants were the only thing that needed an alteration. Its now 11:35am, and since I live in Virginia, Anju asked me if I could wait 15-20 minutes to have my pants altered. I agreed! While we were waiting, Anju provided her recommendations on the ties and pocket squares that would match well with my suit. Its now 11:55am, and I am finished with my appointment. I was able to have my suit properly fitted, buy a dress shirt, tie, pocket square, and get my pants altered, all within 35 minutes! If you're looking for a style advisor to help you with your needs, I HIGHLY recommend Anju. She has received other great reviews on Yelp, which was the reason why I booked an appointment with her. The reviews were on point! Anju was very professional, punctual, and provided excellent customer service. Upon arrival, she offered me water and coffee. During my appointment, she was very nice and asked me how my day was going, if I had any exciting plans for the weekend, etc. No time was wasted during my visit today, and today's experience was a total 180 from the experience I had at the Tyson's Galleria location. Sure, this location is much farther from where I live, but it was definitely worth the drive. If I need any more suits in the future, I will make sure to come to this location and work with Anju again. Thank you Anju for the great experience and exceptional service that you provided me today!

I’ve enjoyed every single item I bought from Suit Supply DC- both online and in person: always a pleasant experience. However, the service I received on 15 Dec 20 (late morning to very early afternoon)left a bad impression. I enter the store which is completely empty and the first thing the sales rep says to me is “how can I help you or are you just looking?” I responded with a simple “yes” because it caught me entirely off guard. A “hello” or “welcome” would have been great. Needless to say, said rep was unpleasant throughout the entire time I was in the store shopping- answering my inquiries with one-word answers. I know how retail works and I know how customers should be treated at high end boutiques. The young brown skinned lady with short brown hair attended to me. It was not at all a good experience. I have purchased eight or nine suits at Suit Supply over the last five years or so, and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Originally I went for the Napoli fit, but more recently I have been buying the Lazio. The suit quality is high and the construction is great — especially when you consider the very reasonable prices. Although the suits almost fit me perfectly off the rack, I always require some minor tailoring to refine the fit. They take care of it onsite and promptly ... sometimes even while I am still in the store. Customer service is perfect. Always very professional and helpful and never pushy. If there is ever an issue, they are willing to take care of it immediately. The staff in the DC shop in particular is great. I have recommended and will continue to recommend suit supply to anyone.

I just bought my second suit at Suit Supply. For offering suits from $500 to $900, Suit Supply offers many features and options that mirror buying a made to measure or bespoke suit at 1/4 to 1/2 the price or more. They offer working buttons on the sleeves, which is often a sign of a bespoke suit or hand-made suit. i also like the linings and European cuts. I'm in my 40s and work in a stuffy office. I like that my suits stand out a bit. I would caution that most of the sales staff are a bit younger. They tend to want to shorten the sleeves and pants legs too much, per the trend, which will go out of fashion. Reel them in a bit and tell them to tailor the suit so that it survives all trends. They'll do so happily. They do get crowded on weekends, so a bit more sales help would be great. When I go during the week, there is no wait.

Before going in, I did a lot of research online, so I knew which suit I was interested in, I'd recommend perusing their site so you have a basic understanding of their suits. It's all open and no real "greeter", so head to the back and approach someone. The suits are nice and the process was good. I would say that when it gets busy, it becomes apparent who is good at their job and who isn't that great. That said, you get a great suit here and they tailor it to your body so you walk out looking great.

I had ordered some monk strap shoes online to pick up from the DC store. The box arrived damaged - not an issue for me as long as the shoes aren't. Upon opening the box, the shoes were clearly worn (scratches on the side, tip and soles) numerous times out and about. I informed one associate and his response was "well, people try them on". I thought, if I end up spending $250.00 on a pair of shoes, it shouldn't be clearly used & it was clearly more than just "well, people try them on". He then went to have his manager come in to assist. Roland, the assistant store manager noticed they should have been damaged out in their system but wasn't. He was courteous and professional - took the shoes back & re-ordered a new pair for me that arrived the next day. Had it not been Roland, I think my view of SuitSupply as a store would have been quite abysmal. Mistakes happen - I for one understand that. How quickly you turn things around is a bigger factor for me. So Roland, THANK YOU!

As a shorter guy I have a hard time finding dress clothes that actually fit me well. I went during the evening on a weekday as I knew it would be less crowded and have staff available to help. They helped me pick out a great suit and were extremely helpful. The tailor guided me through the necessary adjustments I would need and could'nt be more helpful. The dry cleaners must have given me the wrong suit last time I got it cleaned and I didn’t notice until 10 minutes before I was supposed to leave for a wedding. So I ran into Suitsupply, and told them I needed an emergency suit for a wedding as fast as possible. They grabbed me a good suit that fit well, hemmed the pants for me, retied my poorly done tie, and got me out of there in like 20 mins total. I recently got a suit from SuitSupply. The suit seems of good quality and looks good though I've only briefly worn it so far. The suits are compared in quality to much higher end suits. The suits here are not inexpensive, but also not overly priced either. My one concern so far is with the service experience. While the staff are friendly and helpful, they don't seem to manage the customers well. Once when I was in the store when they were busier and once when it was pretty quiet, both times the sales people kept me waiting without setting expectations of when they would be able to help me. I think the store needs to work on helping with the flow and expectations of the experience.

Downgrade from 5 stars to 3. Deteriorating customer service. The problem is not even understaff, but salespersons lack of professional skills and respect to their jobs and customer. During one visit to fix two lost buttons early this year, I was the sole customer while waiting the tailor to fix my pants, all salespersons were chatting out loud and completely ignoring me, which makes me extremely uncomfortable. Granted customers don't need to babysit all day, to have all staff not doing their jobs but chitchatting in front of customer is a bit disrespectful and unprofessional. My latest two visits this July had even worse experience. Staff couldn't find my online outlet order for at least 10 minutes, claiming person deals with online orders put items other than suits to a different location. Customers don't want to hear staff blaming others. They need them to address troubles, time, money wasted. The next day I came to picked up my pants, a junior staff was told to pick it up, he probably had some issues finding my order, decided to completely ignore me, and proceeded to take care another customer. I had to talk to the senior staff, who "took care" the issue by bringing my order to the cashier counter without addressing their professionalism, or lack thereof. Even worse, while I'm impressed that the senior staff somehow knew me, she called by my last name. I was in the military thus didn't feel the impoliteness immediately but they seriously need to know how to properly address customer. My 5-star experience with Suitsupply in DC last year was during extreme busy hours and staff still took care my needs. And my tailored items were taking care of with 1-2 hours so I don't have to drive all way to DC again next day. For 4 visits here this year, it was not as busy as last year, which makes their sub par customer service even less excusable and extra visits more unpleasant. I am hesitate to give it a 2 or 1 star because quality of product is still decent and their in-store tailor service is still on point (kudos to the staff that always measure my pants perfectly). I still recommend Suitsupply Washington but their staff really have a lot to improve, especially compared to Suitsupply Chicago.

I had a wonderful time at the Georgetown location yesterday. The salesperson, Jason Culmer, was extremely knowledgeable, and I left out with a couple of great pieces. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of one of the salespersons at the tailoring desk (not the actual tailor) was rude to me and some of the guests. First, I walked to the desk and said, "I would just like to see the tailoring process." And she rolled her eyes. Then, another female guest came into the store to ask for directions, and when that guest left, the salesperson rolled her eyes and said something derogatory about the guest. Again, this was not the tailor; it was someone that was sitting at the desk with the tailor at around 8pm on October 15. I felt this was extremely rude. One should always endeavor to treat all guests with respect. Other than that, Jason was great, and I really appreciate his attention and service!

Been there 3 times over the past few weeks (Aug-Sept 2017). Some salesperson are VERY professional and tactful (ask, for example, about Mr. J. Konig: 5 stars). Others ARE NOT, either for lack of experience (fair enough, they'll learn the job) or for thoughtlessness: 2 stars. It was somewhat disappointing when they invited me to pick up a suit when a second jacket I ordered had not been delivered yet from the online store to the DC store; I specifically asked to contact me when BOTH were available for pickup, so as to avoid going back and forth to the store. Unacceptable (incomprehensible!) that when I got there in person, explained my situation and asked my jacket to be shipped to my home address (once the DC store had received it), they told me I had to wait to receive the email confirming they received it and then contact them again asking to ship my jacket (I had already paid it, just wanted it shipped home). Now, 3 days passed, UPS lost my package, called the store on the phone for information: got the answer call the customer service (no courtesy shown, no assistance given, no phone number provided, "Just check the website"). Too many headaches for just a tweed jacket... Quality of the fabrics and design: 4 stars, pretty good stuff (though not excellent) for reasonable prices.

If I could give six stars, I would - Bobby was amazing! He has a great sense of style and a terrific customer service attitude. But, maybe the best part is his honesty. When I asked if he thought some accessories I was looking at matched my style he said “no.” He could have made a bigger sale in the short run, but his integrity is too high for that.
