Brimble & Clark is THE destination for a bespoke suit. This was my first experience purchasing a totally personalized suit, and I was absolutely blown away. I even went to other tailors after I visited Brimble & Clark, and no other place came CLOSE to the professionalism and expertise at Brimble & Clark. I went looking for a wedding suit, and not only did Kate have the exact color I wanted (it was a very specific green), but she also spent over an hour and half during our first consultation detailing the specifics of their suits and process. She really made me feel like I was her only client. The suit came out perfectly, and Kate took the time to make sure every dimension was a perfect fit. And at the end, she even took a photo shoot of me in my new suit. You will absolutely not be disappointed if you decide to try out a Brimble & Clark suit.

Seriously the best haberdashery / suit maker I've experienced. This team not only makes better suits than most they do it with love. It's clear that they want to make sure that you look your best. Too many other providers just seem to always respond with the generic 'well, whatever you want'. While B&C cares about what you want they make sure that you're making the right decisions to look your best. They also made me a custom dress shirt and it's definitely my new favorite shirt. The owner also mentioned that they're going to get into interior decor and furniture. I can't wait.

Kait was very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. Honestly, I’m struggling to formulate a way to express my satisfaction with Brimble & Clark. From the onset, when looking for a custom built suit I stumbled upon this company. Their website gives you a good idea of the products they provide but even more so is the experience you get when you purchase a suit here. Sim was very understanding and accompanying when I had to reschedule my initial visit multiple times. When you walk in you immediately know that this is going to be an experience like no other. Lisa spent time explaining what set these suits apart from the rest. Her insight and knowledge of style makes even the most indecisive person feel comfortable picking out each component of your suit. I went to Brimble & Clark to get myself a custom-made suit for my wedding after seeing all the glowing reviews, and I was not disappointed in the least! Lisa was fantastic in explaining and helping me figure out what looks good. When I came in for my first fitting, the suit was already awesome, and the subsequent fittings to get the fit just right made the suit perfect in the end! Timeline-wise, make sure you give yourself some time before you need it - don't do it last minute! The whole process, from initial meeting to last fitting (four appointments in total for me - typically should be three appointments), took me about three months (November was my initial meeting and February was my final fitting). If you're looking to get a custom-made, comfortable, great-feeling suit, Brimble & Clark is where it's at.

Prior to working with Sim and Lisa at Brimble and Clark, the only suits I ever owned were $150 off-the-shelf suits from Express and other generic department stores. Needless to say, I was completely unfamiliar with what makes a high quality suit and had no idea just how bad my cheap suits actually were. When I first met with Sim to consult on a tailored suit, I was blown away by his knowledge of suit design and fit - there are so many elements to a good suit that I had no idea about. Despite my lack of knowledge, Sim was super helpful in presenting various options for suit designs and was able to craft a suit that perfectly fit my needs. When I finally tried it on, I could immediately tell just how different and special it was compared to my cheap department store suits. Even at the first fitting the suit looked and felt fantastic - miles ahead of anything I have worn before. Secondly the experience no matter how much may or may not know should offer you an education on what you plan to obtain. Next your seller should have experience in all facets of the purchase. Without question, Brimble and Clark is the most incredible suit buying experience I’ve ever had from start to finish. I worked for Ralph Lauren for 4 years wearing what I thought were some of the best suits money could buy. Not anymore. Bea and Sim are my suit makers for life now. They have a wealth of knowledge, they care about me, and they truly understand MY taste and style. They don’t recommend what’s “in” they recommend what they know I’ll like and feel good wearing. Their suits cost less than off the rack suits at any high end store and fit, feel, and look better than any of the Zenga or Purple Label RL suits that I own (and don’t even wear anymore because they look dated and don’t fit as well as my Brimble and Clark suits do). The materials they use are sourced from the best mills in Italy and look INCREDIBLE. Every time I wear my Brimble and Clark suits I get compliments and people tell me how dapper I look. Sim, I just got back from our honeymoon and I wanted to say Thank You again for all your help. The tuxedo looked incredible! For review-readers, I’m a skeptic buyer. I searched the market in DC pretty thoroughly by visiting 3 other popular bespoke tailors in the area. I asked them all for a custom 3-piece tuxedo with shirt/tie in a short deadline (1.5 months). With regard to design-input, options, presentation/customer service, authenticity, and cost in my opinion Brimble & Clark is your best bet in DC. Also, not once did Sim try to up-sell or chase my other groomsmen's suits. The suit looked and fitted stunningly, and to top it off- I left feeling like I learned a few things. Thanks again Sim.

Bottom line up front...professional staff/service and suits of the highest quality. You WILL get what you pay for and then some. I think it's best if you know what you want before your first appointment, but if you don't (like I was), Brimble and Clark will take care of you and get you sorted. I went with the two suit plan.
