I found out about DXL from a friend of mine who is a big guy like me. The store was well stocked with various different colors, styles and designs of shirts, sweaters and the like. Prestine was very friendly and knowledgeable and able to get me set up with 4 pairs of pants and a comfortable pair of shoes to start my new job with. I got some great clothing at a good price with excellent customer service. I highly recommend and will return.

A place to shop for men who are larger in size and want a classy, modern wardrobe. I've taken my two big guys here several times now to help update their appearance. The store is beautiful. The sizes are perfect for the larger-sized man. The employees are warm and personal. Spendy? Yes - but it's quality all the way. Shop here and you will start to receive mail coupons that offer good discounts. Love this store!!

Went in for a last minute need for a suit, not sure if they could help on short notice. Ended up with a very nice suit and shoes for less than the price of a certain warehouse for men (no shoes in that deal) . Austin was a great start member to work with, very good info given, good idea for sizes and fit. Definitely an awesome experience, do recommend people give them a look.

Always great customer service and quality clothing. Though this location is not the one I originally started shopping at, the manager is the same from my old favorite store, he and the rest of the employees here will make you feel very welcome. The location is easily accessible from the interstate, and is also in close proximity to a lot of other wonderful shops and restaurants in the Virginia Beach Town Center area. Keep an eye out for sales and coupons, they're frequently provided, especially if you sign up to receive emails! I would prefer to get my clothes from DXL over any other store, hands down.

So I stopped into this place looking for shirts for a bachelor party. I am a large and the groom is an 2X. However there is groomsmen thats a 4XL long. Man that is a tough thing to find. Not here. I spoke with the manager and told him that I didn't want anyone to be the odd man out. He said he would help and make sure that doesn't happen. He said he would get all the sizes I need. Truly a good man and after this experience. I am great full for people and places like this.

If you shop this store, you better have enough money in your pocket. This is an exquisite, stylish store for men - those who are larger in size. And you will pay for this amazing, high quality clothing and footwear. I love shopping here for the big men in my family. Every item in this store is top-notch. Casual, work, professional wear, shoes - you name it. The staff is so personal and accommodating. There is also an expansive clearance area in the back where I snapped up quite a few beautiful shirts for my guys. I can't say enough about how wonderful this high-end men's store is. It's a dream come true for the big men in your life!

There's a guy named Dimeatre who works there. He is the nicest and most knowledgeable salesman I've ever met. Helped me pick out clothes for my Dad's funeral and was very sympathetic for my loss. Great service.

I was picking up an online order that was shipped to the store. Customer service was lacking. I decided to browse around the storefront while I was there. Sales associates seemed to not care less that I was in the store. I even asked where certain items were & the guy literally said "over there". I said idk where that is, I've never been here before, he repeated "over there". I grabbed my item that I had pre-ordered & left.

All the clothes a big guy like me could ever need. They have everything from nice dress clothes to work out attire. Another great fact is that you dont have to go to the mall! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend giving the store a visit/try.

Top notch customer service. Great place to shop if you're on the bigger size for men. Can be expensive , but they have plenty of sales. Clean , dressing rooms, restroom available , and free parking. Easy to get to

Listen, I’m a 305lbs, 6’1” strongman/powerlifter with much of my size in my shoulders, chest, back and quads. Slimmer midsection and waist. I used to dread shopping for formal wear. I basically got something that was either too baggy so it could fit my shoulders or too tight to fit my waist because nothing was made for my measurements! I don’t know how many pants I’ve split because again they were too tight to fit my waist but not enough room for my quads and glutes. Then I found DXL. This is a catered, tailored shop designed for all types and shapes of bigger guys. They immediately measured me, got me the right size shirts and dedicated the time to making sure the fit was just right. I’ve been getting compliments almost daily ever since. The nightmare of clothes shopping for me is over. I hate myself for throwing away hundreds if not thousands of dollars somewhere else on mediocre, poor fitting clothing. And! DXL often has sales plus a rewards program! Go to DXL. You won’t regret it.
