I had heard about Emelina’s from friends but before that, I always passed by the boutique on my way home from work. I’d always see the display window (beautiful dresses!) and say I’d get my dress from there. When the time came, the 1st shop I had gone to (and the only one) was Emelina’s! The first dress I tried on ended up being the one I chose after trying on a few others. I knew I wasn’t going to find the dress anywhere else. I absolutely loved everyone at Emelina’s! Everyone made my my dress choosing so special, I never felt insecure or uncomfortable. The staff are amazingly sweet and caring and take their time with you. I did some alterations and added some tulle to my off the shoulder sleeves, they did it perfectly as I had visioned. I also bought my tiara from there as well. I absolutely loved the dress and felt like a princess on our big day. Thank you to Emelinas 🫶🏻🤍

Emelina’s Bridal shop is the best wedding boutique I’ve been too. I went to a lot of stores when dress shopping, but at Emelinas they listened and genuinely cared how i felt on my big day! My dress was everything i have ever wanted at a reasonable price and the process was so easy along the way! Everyone here including owner Jessica was so thoughtful and nice. Would definitely recommend this store to any other bride or individual for any occasion!

Working with Emelina's was the best part of my wedding planning experience. Each time I visited I felt more and more comfortable & confident in my wedding dress, and trust me they had a lot of work to do on it. Jessica & her team were so kind & knowledgeable not just with how to work on my dress but also with the adjustments they made to the structure of my dress to have it fit the way I wanted. They had the knowledge to do so much more than just take in/let out my dress, I appreciated all the thought they put into having it fit me correctly. As a curvier girl, dreaming of wearing a fitted dress seemed like a gamble but Emelina's made it possible & helped me feel confident! On top of that their communication was outstanding, their work was stellar, I loved that they gave a thank you card & a coupon off for dress cleaning/preservation...& I cannot wait to post pictures in my review after our wedding day! We came in looking for a mother of the bride dress and Janet helped us find a beautiful dress based on the preferences we expressed during our consultation. They were always able to accommodate us when we needed to stop in and always took their time with us. They were always so friendly and willing to help whenever needed. We met the owner who was extremely accommodating as well. Would strongly recommend Emelina's to anyone looking for an event dress! They have a nice bridal selection as well.

If I could put 10 stars I would! Emelina’s is not just for the bride it’s also for the groom too! I ran into an issue with the tux shirts I had bought prior for the wedding and in a last minute bind I had to go get a new shirt 6 days before the wedding, the shirt I bought was not fitted was huge on me and I needed it to fit just right. I rushed over to Emelina’s and Jessica and her staff made their measurements on the shirts I payed and by Tuesday my shirt was ready and fit to perfection! I can’t thank Jessica and the staff enough for taking care of this in such little time, and making my look for my wedding day so much better. Worth every penny!

I found Emelina’s on google and Instagram and with my wedding fast approaching I went out on a whim to have them alter my wedding dress. I could not be happier with the results. They are insanely meticulous. They really treat you like family and make sure that your dress is exactly how you want it and that it looks perfect. I had a total of 3 dress fittings and they just went above and beyond for me. I am not Spanish speaking and one appointment the seamstress had to call the owner in order to translate. The owner was more than willing to stay on the phone the entire appointment translating and making sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. I will only ever go to Emelina’s for my future alterations and recommend this shop to everyone!

After a terrible experience at another boutique, I found Jessica and the amazing team of women at Emelina’s! Not only is everyone so kind and caring, but they perform miracles! My wedding dress was too tight and I was panicking after another seamstress told me she couldn’t help me and that I needed to buy a new dress (6 weeks before my wedding). I called Jessica and she immediately got me in for an appointment the next day and the seamstresses got to work! They recreated the entire back of my dress and it was perfect! I can’t recommend this place enough!!! Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I had the best experience with Jessica and the ladies at Emelina’s Bridal. I was chosen to be a bridesmaid and it was my first experience shopping for a dress at a bridal shop and I ended up buying the first dress I tried on. Jessica was my consultant and she was phenomenal to work with. The dress I purchased was one she picked out based on what I was looking for. I had picked out a couple other dresses to try on, but that dress stuck out to me and made me feel like a princess! She was so attentive kind, and extremely helpful. I immediately called the bridal party and let them know about Emelina’s and sure enough the other bridesmaid and mini bridesmaids came and had an amazing experience just like I did. There attention to detail in the alterations afterwards were above and beyond and all the dresses fit beautifully. I would definitely recommend Emelina’s Bridal for any future bridesmaids and brides!

Purchased a gown yesterday with this lovely boutique! The owner and her staff are beyond accommodating! Truly the best customer service around. There’s absolutely NO push into something you don’t love. You can look and pull your own dresses (so no push to sell the most expensive one like most bridal shops). I needed to have my basketball uniform altered because it was to big and Emelinas made it perfect! They brought in the sides and adjusted my shorts to where it all fits so perfect. The owner was a beautiful young lady by the name of Jessica, who was so helpful and friendly. Looking at her you would think she is fresh out of Highschool but don’t judge a book by its cover because she was absolutely amazing and very intelligent and knew what she was talking about!! I would strongly reccomend going to emelinas for any alteration needs!!!!

The dress turned out perfect and considering the quality of work and time frame, the price was great as well. We were initially worried about set backs but it was a one and done at Emelinas. I cannot believe I haven't thought to do this review sooner. Emelina is the only person I will use for my alterations. My grandmother (Lee Livingston) became a client many many years ago with Emelina altering her Talbots suits and she then became great friends with Emelina. Emelina has altered everything from my homecoming/ prom dresses to my wedding dress. She is by far the best in town! I highly recommend her and her team.

Love Love Love them! AMAZING people! They are SO nice and patient. We went dress shopping for 6 months! Finally found Emelina's (after an hour drive-totally worth it). They were the nicest people we had met after our long six month search, They were able to find me a beautiful dress below budget and alter it (below budget)! Alteration's were great! We went up and because we were an hour away they fixed the dress for me then instead of making us come back another day. Quick, perfect, work! These ladies know what they are doing! Five stars for sure!

So happy I found Emelina's! I had my wedding dress altered by another alteration business and was very dissapointed by the result. So I came here and was reassured the dress would be corrected and adjusted in the short time frame I needed (2 weeks). The ladies were all very helpful, they knew what I wanted, and didn't stop making adjustments until it was perfect. Emelina and her alterations team are just incredible people. I bought my wedding dress from a different store in my hometown, and the dress alterations person at that salon had recently quit, leaving me up the creek with time ticking to get my dress in order. Emelina saved the day by taking me in and did a fantastic job. You know you're getting cared for when 3-4 people are working on you at one time. Her team listened to my concerns with the dress (I wanted it taken in quite a bit and a bustle added), and overall the cost was extremely reasonable for the amount of hours put in. I can't recommend Emelina's Bridal & Boutique enough and will definitely go back for future pieces I need altered.

The only place I trust for gown alterations. Nowhere else! I had my daughter's gown altered here and was pleased with the result and workmanship. I couldn't tell at all that the gown was atered when we came for a fitting. And the gown came out like it was perfectly made for my daughter. Emelina is so professional, very nice and kind lady. I recommended this place to my daughter for her wedding gown alterations. I cannot say enough good things about Emelina's regarding their alterations and fitting service. It was obvious from the first moment that they really care about excellence and they really know what they are doing. They were fussing over my daughter and her dress throughout her two fittings and when something was a little off on the second fitting, they asked her to wait while they fixed it so that she could take the dress with her and it would be perfect. The woman who created the bustle for the train showed me how to attach the loops and arrange the pleats. Everything about this experience was delightful, and it was worth every penny and more. I love this place! It’s a small store but they have nice dresses. The staff are attentive but they aren’t all over you like they are at other places. I liked that I could take my time and look around. I ended buying my wedding dress here last week. I found the same dress at another bridal shop for 3x the price! If I could give it 10 stars I would, but five is all Google will allow! Emelina and all of her staff are wonderful!!!! I picked out my dress with only having two months until my wedding and I have had two fittings so far and have my next fitting next week. They are really designing and tailoring this wedding dress to fit me PERFECTLY for my special day in July 2014!!! My girlfriends have accompanied me and every one of Emelina's staff made them feel welcomed too! They are showing my girlfriends how they need to button up the back of my dress, etc.! I cannot thank Emelina and her alterations team enough for what they did for me. After bringing my wedding dress to a tailor in Tarpon Springs, it was destroyed. The tailor did not know how to assemble a bustle, took the lace off the front of my dress because he said there was no way to put it back on and he took in the back of my dress and made it uneven and extremely noticeable with seams. The Tailor also marked the inside of my dress with a black permanent marker. I had 9 DAYS to try and get the dress of my dreams fixed. My Maid of Honor found Emelinas and recommendated them to me. Emelina and her team were absolutely wonderful. They knew what needed to be fixed and givin the timeline I was against, they were up for the task. I had numerous ladies working on my dress at the same time to make sure they could get it done in time (even staying late after hours with me). My dress is extremely delicate and made of all lace with a train. Emelina pointed out that the dress still needed to be taken in on the sides, chest area, the back of the dress and the material underneath the dress and she was right. I came in for 3 fittings within the 9 days and when picked it up the day before my wedding it fit me BEAUTIFULLY!! They were even able to add lace back on to the front of the dress! 🙌🏻 This place was a life savor!!!!! Thank you so so much!

Emilina's was the first bridal boutique I went to. It was also my last as I found my dream dress on the first try. The boutique was referred to me by my coworker who bought her daughters dress here. I am a firm believer in word of mouth and personal experience. From the moment my mother and sister walked in we were treated like family. They pulled all the dresses I had preselected from online. Their selection was very large and even though it is a smaller show room it was still very easy to look through the dresses. It was very well organized. I wanted to make some ppersonal customizations and Emilina was a dream to work with when it came time to make those changes and alterations. She was 100% thorough during every fitting. After my last fitting I had a minor change I wanted to make to my bustle. To say the least she went avove and beyond to make sure it was perfect and everything I wanted it to be. She stayed over two hours after closing to make sure the fit was perfect but also the sewing so I didnt have to make another trip to Tampa from Sarasota! She was always so flexible with my fittings as well. I cound go on and on about all the wonderful work Emilina and her staff do but the most important was the way I was treated. She treated me like family and I will forever be greatful for having the experience I did while finding and making my perfect wedding dress. I recently referred a coworker and her sister who have also had an excellent experience.
