Tina and Leslie were amazing! I was very anxious about finding a dress as my wedding is 2weeks away! I found my dress and Leslie was worked with me to complete a few alterations. They also signed me up for Diamond Membership which allowed for an additional discount to keep me within budget. I had a fantastic experience shopping here. Jessica gave me space while I shopped and decided on what I liked the best. She was always there to help if I had questions though and was very knowledgeable. I enjoyed that the dresses here came in different sizes, so you didn't have to get clamped as you tried them on. I found my dress and it was very affordable too!

I purchased my dress while out of town with family and decided to get it altered where I was living. Leslie at David’s Bridal Alterations was AMAZING! She was very helpful, informative, and easy to talk to. We had to do quite a few alterations on my dress and it turned out AMAZING. She even called the boutique where I purchased the dress to make sure we steamed the fabric correctly. Amazing service all around!!

Was able to book a last minute appointment online for a same day visit! They didn’t have a stylist available when I arrived so the manager Tina was able to assist us. We were just going to look at dresses on our own but Tina asked what I was looking for. I showed her one picture that I have saved and lo and behold, they sell that dress and she had one available for me to try! It was fate! Dress was exactly what I was looking for and Tina was so patient and kind. She made it a great experience! Can’t wait to go back and try on the actual dress in a month!

She was super patient and super kind to my 4-year-old and my husband who was more finicky about the bride's dress than the actual bride (me). I love that she heard what we were asking for as well as made alternative suggestions to give us as many options as possible. The Bride and I’s first dress fittings didn’t go so well. The first lady that worked with us refused to listen to what we wanted done and even went as far as telling me my dress didn’t need alterations. Fast forward three weeks to our pick up time and both the Bride and I were VERY disappointed and upset with the alterations that had been done. However, Leslie was very helpful! She listened to what was wrong and quickly went about fixing the problems! Could not have asked for better service! Leslie is absolutely amazing!

We ordered a David's Bridal wedding gown and had it shipped to our home in MN. It arrived early and in mint condition. Then we made a fitting appointment at David's Bridal in Sioux Falls to for hemming and a couple other minor alterations. Our seamstress Leslie and her assistants were ultra professional. They know dresses and tailoring inside and out, plus they were polite in answering all of our questions. My daughter's initial fitting and second/final fitting went extremely well, because the staff took time to explain her choices, ask about her ideas and to really listen to what she preferred. Throughout our experience with David's Bridal, I felt like the employees truly wanted my daughter to be in love with her dress. She is, and therefore, so am I (bride's Mom). I didn't expect this much care and attention from a retail chain. I am pleasantly surprised with the personal service we received over the past several months. I definitely recommend David's Bridal of Sioux Falls for tailoring, no matter where you purchase your wedding dress.

This is a tough review to write. Jhenna is absolutely amazing! So understanding and helpful. She was such an amazing help both times I came in. She explained how my bridesmaids were able to come in without me being there. Jhenna gets 5 stars. This is where it gets tough to review. One of my brides maids went in and was treated incredibly rude and have very little to no help finding her brides maids dress. She walked out and called me crying because of how she was treated. I just really wish my brides maids could get their dresses without me (we are spread out ove a 3-6 hour drive) has me absolutely terrified that this is how one of them was treated! I will definitely plan our following trips around Jhenna’s schedule. If my maid of honor had a better experience this would have been a 5 star review.

i had seriously considered purchasing a dress online, but wanted to try some on in person just to get an idea of silhouettes/styles i loved. i walked in on a random weekday and Mariah was great and let me try a few on just for fun. i decided to come back another day and brought some of my family this time. Jhenna helped me today and before i knew it, we had found my dress! she was fantastic- stepping in and answering questions and pulling dresses for me and, to put it simply, tolerated and worked with my complete lack of vision! Leslie helped with some alteration questions which allowed me to see the potential finished look, which was a game changer. i never thought i would find my dress at david’s bridal, but i’m very grateful i took a chance and checked it out. it was a ridiculously easy appointment and the only “stressful” part came from my lack of decision making, lol. can’t wait for the big day. thanks again, Jhenna!! :)

Great experience! When I walked in, Kelly at the front desk greeted me kindly and made sure I knew where I was going. My stylist Christina was the best! I was looking for a bridesmaid dress and she looked through the dresses with me, taking them from me when I found one to try on, and bringing them to my fitting room. Very helpful. She was so encouraging throughout the whole process, making sure each dress fit nicely so that I could picture how it would fit with the right size and my own alterations. She even gave me fun ideas for how I could do my hair! In the end I found my dress and left happily. I would definitely recommend Christina as a stylist, whether looking for a wedding dress, bridesmaid, or any other!

They have a beautiful selection of dresses for a reasonable prices. Some of the staff are not very welcoming or friendly, fortunately most of them are great. I found the wedding dress of my dreams and they were wonderful at my alterations appointment. However when I went back to try on my dress after it had been altered, the $200 hem I had paid for was not done correctly and I was still stepping on it quite a bit when I was walking. Also I had paid for an additional button to be added in the back on my dress to button my train to and that was not added at all. The seamstress did however make it right by adding buttons under the dress ruffles to lift the dress off the ground so I wasn't stepping on it when I walked. She also added the button for my train that I already had paid for. I did not pay for simple buttons to be added though, when it's a 200 dollar hem, it should be done right. Overall it was a good experience.

I purchased my wedding dress from David’s and came back to have it altered. I recently found out that I was pregnant and was unsure how to make my dress fit by the time of my wedding. The tailor (Kathy was her name I think) she was super sweet, and talked me through the options I had. She showed me all the bustle options to see which one I wanted, she was detail-oriented. I recently moved to Fargo and I asked how much would the shipping cost be to ship the dress and they said they would ship the dress on them, and she scheduled me to meet with a tailor in Fargo closer to my wedding day to ensure the dress fits perfectly. It was like a one-stop shop, and they took care of everything, and I didn’t feel stressed trying to figure out what’s my next step because they took care of it, which is AWESOME!

I went to David's first, found a dress for all others to beat, went to 2 other stores, and ultimately ended up coming back to David's for the dress I originally fell in love with. The dress was perfect, but what made the experience was the fantastic staff!

First time Prom dress shopping with my daughter. Great selection in colors and sizes!! And prices were not bad either!! We teamed up in the dressing room to get through as many dress as we could in the 30 minutes. We walked out with a dress!! However, reason for only 4 out of 5 stars is that not one employee checked on us in any way what so ever other then getting us into a fitting room. We were in an area with 8 fitting rooms and 5 were being used ,counting us, when we started and only 1, not counting us, when we finished.

I started my experience off in Florida where I purchased a dress for my upcoming wedding and in the mean time moved back to SD. In Florida they altered my dress and it was a mess from the very start, they ordered me the wrong size dress and then altered it down to my size and completely destroyed my dress in the process. A month before my wedding (like a week ago) I went to go put this dress on and it was HORRIBLE!!! I called the Fort Myers store and they said I would have to go in to the David’s Bridal here, I was sooo annoyed with that because I did not want to give ANY David’s bridal my business BUT we went in anyways on Sunday, they saw the wreck of a dress I had, ordered me a new dress, ON TUESDAY they called saying they got my dress in AND they could get me in for alterations a few hours later. My dress is getting altered now (kinda nervous because of the first time) and I have an appointment for next Friday. These people at this particular David’s Bridal are amazing!!!! The manager of the alterations department is so sweet and actually listens to your concerns/ideas and does everything she is able to do to work with you and give you exactly what you want. I didn’t really work with any one else in the store but everyone who was there was beyond friendly!

Went to the store in Sioux Falls today as I was just trying to get an idea of what I wanted for my dress and could hardly find any of my size, I’m about a size 4 and they had very little dresses. The dresses I tried on were meh, kind of outdated. Our lady helping us was very busy and was helping another bride as I just did a walk in so it’s expected. I kind of felt judged when I asked to try on a dress by the front door lady. She seemed bothered, I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I do agree that the store needs a bit of remodeling and maybe some newer style dresses!

I was very pleased with my visit. The lady that helped me and my group was amazing. I believe her name was Maryn. She was very professional and made the appointment go smoothly. There is absolutely no comparison to the other places I went to try on dresses. She was very patient with my large group as well as my indecisiveness. We had a bridesmaid dress appointment on Oct. 17th, and my bridesmaids and I were disappointed with our experience. We could tell right away that the lady that was working with us was new, which is fine, but nobody checked in with her to see how she was doing, and she didn’t really ask for much help herself that we saw. One of the first things that happened was one of the other employees called out the employee working with us on her outfit that didn’t match their dress code. We thought that was rude and should have been done more privately. Looking at/trying on dresses was the best part, although we felt like we weren’t given much help or direction. We also noticed some other employees walking around with iPads, which we assumed was to look up colors, sizes, etc., but ours didn’t have one, which we thought was kinda weird. After everyone found dresses we liked, we went up to pay. That was when everything went downhill. I wanted the color Meadow, but it turned out some dresses had it and others didn’t. It also turned out the color was being discontinued. Long story short, I ended up having to choose my second favorite color, and one of my bridesmaids had to scramble to find a different dress. Even though she was able to find one, the only size she could get in that color was 8-10 sizes too big. It was all just a very stressful appointment, especially with the disorganization and chaos near the end of the appointment. One of my bridesmaids has been a bridesmaid many times and said that this was by far her worst experience at David’s Bridal, so I know that this is definitely not very typical, which is why I gave an extra star. Knowing that her past experiences were good is really the only thing that is making me still consider getting my dress there.

First off Emily H. at the Sioux Falls store was absolutely amazing, despite being short staffed and helping 2 brides at once she made the experience amazing. I will say however the lady (I did not get her name) who greeted us and checked us in acted as if we were unwelcome and an inconvenience to her. And as a nervous bride going into the store being greeted by this lady was not pleasant at all but thankfully the rest of the staff and manager were very friendly and helpful!

I got my wedding dress here 10 years ago and from what I remember it was good service. I had also had my dress preserved after my wedding and they did an ok job. Recently my husband surprised me with a vow renewal and I had to quick try on my dress that was preserved in a box, which was extremely wrinkly. I brought it in to see if it could be steamed within a day and they were able to get it done, and add lingerie straps that were no longer there. I appreciated the quick service to get my dress streamed so I had less to worry about!

I would recommend her over and over again! About Davids: I LOVED that I was able to "shop" for the type of dress I wanted in a way that was not overwhelming or intimidating. Find a dress that I like and Raelynn would find and bring me that dress in my size. I could have tried on dresses all day with the amount of dresses in house! That also made me feel not pressured and at ease.. I wasn't limited to feeling like I had to pick one of the few that came in my size.

Popped in on a Saturday afternoon thinking I'd just look. The staff was awesome! They were busy with appointments but greeted and remained friendly. I appreciated that they let me look around without any sales pressure. Wedding dress shopping was intimidating for me but the staff put me at great ease. Found a couple of dresses that i thought I'd like to try on and despite not having an appointment, staff let me know that Lyndsay would be available in 10 minutes if i didnt mind waiting. Pretty excited by this point and knowing that in 10 minutes i could be in one of these gorgeous dresses, i said yes. I later said Yes again, this time to the dress! Lyndsay showed me ideas how to customize the dress to make it "me" -- we added beaded straps. I then met with Deb, the seamstress, and was wonderful. She noticed that i was starting to get anxious/overwhelmed and invited me to their back room to complete alterations. That move saved the sale and on Dec. 13th, i get to pick up my beautiful gown! I am so excited! Thank you David's Bridal for really caring!

The ladies that helped me out at my bridal appointment were so kind and helpful with questions that came up about different dresses. Overall it was a good experience. My only recommendation for this location is a little updating/renovating as it was not as bright and clean as other bridal shops I've been too. In order to stand in the best lighting I had to be at an awkward spot where the mirrors started and stopped due to dressing room doors.

I may not have the experience with this store that some people are looking for because I have only been there twice, but both of my experiences have been great ones. My first experience was in 2010. My sister was getting married, and we went there to find bridesmaids dresses. First of all, we didn’t have an appointment, but we were given our own personal attendant person. We really felt that they cared about my sister’s wedding. If we didn’t have the right size, somebody would go get the correct size for us. Both experiences were this way. The second time I went there, we were looking for bridesmaids’ dresses for one of my friend’s weddings. My only complaint about this experience is that it was really crowded. I think once it reaches a certain point, they should either turn people away or ask them to return at a later time. All in all though, I had very nice experiences at the Sioux Falls David’s Bridal store, and I would recommend it to somebody in search for wedding/bridesmaids’ dresses.

Associates always helpful and professional. They had limited short dresses available in store. Also, the dresses on their website that were showing store available were not always available in store. My stylist managed to find similar styles for me to try. They don't have much for suit styles that my mom was wanting for herself. Overall, if you need a long occasion dress they have a huge variety.

We received excellent customer service from Maryn! My mom, sister and I came into Davids to try on dresses initially and we narrowed it down to my two favorites. We made another appointment the following weekend with Maryn again and brought my soon to be mother in law and two sister in laws to help me decide. They pulled multiple off the rack and Maryn was super patient with me trying on all the additional dresses. She definitely helped me not become overwhelmed with all the dresses! I ended up saying yes to one of the original dresses from the first appointment! They are super busy on saturdays, when I made my appointment they made it perfectly clear, on the website, that the consultant would be assisting other brides at the same time. I actually liked it that way because it made a no pressure atmosphere, in my opinion.

We had an appointment for 9:30 am and had two other appointments for other bridal shops afterward. We arrived and were immediately greeted and taken to look at dresses. Lynsey was extremely helpful and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We found a dress we loved but told her we had other appointments to get to. Even though we didn't immediately buy dresses she was still polite and nice when we were leaving. We went to the two other bridal shops in Sioux Falls and the dresses were less flattering and more expensive and the service was subpar - the workers were awkward and not helpful at the other shops. We called bridal gallery and explained that we wanted to come back and look at the dress we liked. They got us right back in and Lynsey was waiting with the dresses for us.
