Reviews of Ross Dress for Less
Good deals but it's almost not really worth it. A lot of the clothes have been permanently damaged by the security tags that they have to put on everything because there's so much theft. They also never have more than 2-3 cashiers ringing even when there's a line of 30 people. It always takes 20 min or more to check out.
We go to Ross all the time. The shopping is great. The only problem is that they never have enough cashier's working. The last time I went, it took me 15 minutes to get what I needed, and about 45 minutes to cash out and leave. If you're in a hurry, not the place for you.
The store has changed a lot after the covid-19 situation. So many of their collections are now gone. And quite a lot has been removed. You will find mostly empty shelves and racks if you've ever visited before pandemic started and now in the new year. But still has inexpensive items and many of the useful things that I need for myself and for my household stuff. Always a good store to find out if the thing you need is available here or not. Bought myself two cute mugs.
Decent selection, probably the best of Rosses in the area in that regard. First floor contains women's clothing and shoes, if you go to -1 you will find suitcases, home decorations, kitchen stuff, children's section / toys, and men's clothing. Fitting rooms are in the first floor. Location is not the best, Seattle downtown, so a lot of homeless people.
thrifting that is actually affordable rather than other overpriced trendy thrift stores in the area. happy I gave this place a shot! *this corner has a lot of folks having a hard time and can sometimes be a little dangerous. would recommend being cautious and smart about it if/when you go.
Good location, sometimes I can not find what I need.
Lots of choices at great prices. They keep the store clean and organized.
I was going to order some things on line but found them here at a fraction of the price
Shopping at the downtown Seattle location is an experience in affordability. They have a wide selection of products for all ages. The staff that are so busy but are very helpful. I found shopping and browsing at this location to be a very pleasant experience.
the store is ok (it has some good products, but doesn't always have what we want), but it's in a sketchy location, so getting in and out isn't safe due to the drug-addicted homeless population nearby, and security doesn't catch thieves.
My wife's favorite store can't say no and to a review keep it up ross
Everything was a great experience lots of clothes lots of to choose from. The only bad part is the checkout line and the wait I've gone in there before and actually just left what I've chosen to buy because the wait line is forever too long they only have one or two check out people and there's probably 20 people in line to check out and it just takes forever. This store has more inventory than most but I'd rather go to other Ross stores because the checkout time in nothing like this store.
I buy shoes here, need more staff up front but the store is clean and always has my size
Definetly Ross Store is one of my favorite place to buy my clothes, they always have good discount and variety of styles. The security and people who work there, they always support their customers.
They have a great selection and security but there are soooooooooo many drug addicts surrounding the store.
People were friendly, the item I wanted had a big stain on it and the only other one they had had a hole in it. I notice there were a lot of stains on white clothing there. A dress, and two other white shirts I looked at also had stains. I did like that they had a good selection in size 11 shoes. I found a super cute pair that fit great! I love Ross this one just isn't my favorite.
Prices are good considering your downtown but you better have patients in the checkout line. It takes forever to get through the line.
They should have shopping carts available for people who plan on buying a lot of stuff lol
Ross has some good deals. The downtown atmosphere has some issues. LOL
They have a variety of items ranging from clothes to cosmetics all for reasonable prices. The inside of the store is also clean and the staff were very kind.
Great prices, cashiers we're friendly. Lots of homeless out front.
Always been a good store with a wide selection of clothing, and random electronics.
high quality of the best manufactures. samsonite suitcases, for an example. for a very low price.
My FAVORITE store BIGGER THAN BIG TIME... Employee's are the SWEETEST, The prices are CHEAP and I get a SENIOR DISCOUNT.... THANK YOU ROSS... Seattle, Washington 🙃🙂💐 …
It's a complete mess! Clothes janmed on the rack, stuff everywhere. The huge line at the register was enough to make anyone leave without buying anything.
Update: I like this Ross a lot more than I did. Stuff is more organized and they are constantly stocking new items everyday. It's on my way home, so I pop in there a lot. But the lines are still long, but its bc they only have 2 registers open at a time. They have definitely lost my business a few times bc of that.
This downtown 😍 Seattle Ross is great believe it or not. Employee's always seem to Tobe on point but keep in mind they deal with a lot of theft so it may feel a little like the the clothing racks have eyes at times such is the real-life aspect of downtown life unfortunately these days, just something I though maybe mindful I have yet to have a non-responsive costumer care associate lead me to anything less than the register. Thank you Ross Dress for Less I'm in style now and ready for work at my new job. Even with a homeless man's budget I still bought what I needed! Thanks again and Happy New Year!
There's not much to choose from anymore here in downtown Seattle so I try to shop here but it's really an uncomfortable feeling because no matter how I'm dressed or what I happen to look like that day.. I always feel like they're thinking I'm going to shoplift.
They don't actually stock you but pretty darn close to it.
Understandably so - it's a high theft area because those junkies have to have some source of income and God knows they sure buying those blues and black and clear with monopoly money.
Side Note:
Beware... Don't be Shoplifting here if you don't look good wearing Orange or any shade of Orange.
It's about the only remaining store downtown that hasn't boarded up their windows and given in to the drug addicted, homeless, out-of-control Zombies who inhabit the back alleys by daytime and emerge into the night with the delicate, yet pungent aroma of aged urine that permiates throughout the downtown corridoors.
Need to search a lot to find that one perfect thing. But its worth spending that time for some cheap but trendy stuff
They have so much decent quality stuff for low prices if you go soon after your store's restocking days. Store is fairly cleanly. Security staff hovers a lot at this location, so beware if you're a person of color who is tired of being targeted by store security. It can be very triggering, at the very least uncomfortable, but they do it because apparently this store gets a lot of shoplifting. Lines are typically long, as they often have very few cashiers.
The fact that I spent almost two hours and yet kept finding cool stuff says a lot. Would recommend for affordable and good clothes!
They need more cashier's, I feel the one they always have working is over worked
The staff here are great and so are the selections. Ross has always been amazing for getting great stuff on a budget. Things to keep in mind, this is downtown and is a discount store. If you’re expecting high society, then you’re not great at setting proper expectations. If you have a realistic view of how life really works, you’ll be in good company.
The prices were great , but the fact that they had plenty staff on the floor and only ONE cashier operating, while there was a line of at least 30 people, was completely unprofessional. However the cashier that WAS working was working her tail off. So, Lexi,, you ROCK, and your professional attitude during all that chaos is if nothing , encouraging!!!
Moved to Seattle from Chicago recently, and was told to invest in a good rain jacket, and ROSS was my first choice and found a reduced priced name brand rain jacket. Great shopping experience, but only wished the location was at a more safer location. I didnt feel safe outside the store with my items🥺 …
Great discount store to shop at. This location is like most Ross stores-- selection, stock, and neatness varies. But overall a good location to visit.
You never know what you'll find at a good discount. Check in regularly to catch the deals. They have enough security and there's a mobile spd precinct down there block.
This was a decent Ross store right in the heart of downtown. Good selection of items in a very friendly staff to help you check out quickly. Surrounding area is a bit rough, probably due to the homeless problem, but the store itself was good.
Went there for a dog party gift. Ross had at least 4 racks of dog gifts and treats and another section with a selection of dog beds. Able to purchase a Christmas themed dog gift at a reasonable price.
Oodles of special offers, nice staff, particularly the security guard
Good place to get value stuff
Great prices on clothing home goods etc.❤️❤️
Ross in Downtown Seattle is one of the busiest Stores I've ever encountered. They have an enormous selection of deals and of course I like that. But... Who doesn't! Right?
Customer Service in the store could definitely use improvements. Though this store does experience a lot of theft. Be prepared for street life when visiting this store. It's a gauntlet out there in the JUNGLE.
THANKS FOR READING...

One of the best places to go for bargain buys. It’s no secret that Ross is one of the few places where you can buy potentially anything without breaking the bank. I would stick to clothes, home goods, bags, kitchen ware and accessories while shying away from buying shoes here. Atleast not heels for sure , the ones I have bought so far have never been worn more than once.
I haven't been here since 2012. Enjoyed shopping here in 1999 on pay days. Cool treasures. Only thing is in 2012 they closed the restrooms and I had to hike down the block and buy something at MacDonald's to use their restroom. So I took away a star.
There’s a lot of homeless around there. They have some good deals but it doesn’t feel like a good experience stop by 🥲 …
Everything was orderly and clean. The amount of inventory was better than the last time I visited
It was difficult to find some stuff that was why it couldn't be a 5 star but it's Ross you still find awesome deals
Good store will go again.
My husband bought me the most beautiful dresses! I was surprised by his fashion sense and my size! On the button!
I absolutely love this place! It's easy to spend an entire paycheck - and not because the prices are high, let alone too high!!!!
Finding amazing clothes for 1/4 the price, is totally worth security following you around seeing what you are up to. Thankfully they are nice about it.
The lines move fast and the clerks are nice.
Well done Ross!
Bomb prices low as can be it's amazing I love this Ross in particular. It's the best one in this area by far. Just stay alert on your way back to your car or hotel or apartment, people are getting desperate out there on "the blade" as it's known
Staff really friendly... But I think they need more stuff in the store I think it was a bad quality compare with other ross (and I am a ross fan)
Good selection and opportunity for great deals. Excessive presence of loss avoidance employees makes you feel a bit under suspicion but they are friendly. Relatively clean dressing rooms to try on clothes. Good place to get luggage and Doc Martin's at a discount.
Great selection (and obviously very valuable prices) but, the check out line seems to regularly be way too long.
Went in today and walked right out after seeing the line snaking out of the stantions and into the aisles. Seems like they need to hire more people and/or schedule more appropriately...
Some junkies wondering around, but they just got more guards to make feel you safe
My favorite place to shop when iam on board
Okay that's where I get my favorite perfume Curve I like the one that's in the blue 💙 bottle I used to get it at a nice department in Iowa but this one doesn't have it so I get the one is a 📍 Pink one not to bad but it does smell good it's not pumpkin spice 😂 Ross is very rude to me too I was looking for something and she says just go to Target they have it so I did so I try not to go there rude people
Got a great deal on some tennis shoes that I desperately needed
Ross is a treasure hunt. You need to spend the time to find the treasure. I imagine that coming first thing in the morning might yield you better results as the later in the day the more picked over this store gets. The fact that this store is downtown makes it very busy but it has been quieter since Covid hit. I always feel like a criminal in here though because of the cop at the door and loss prevention saying hello as soon as you walk in, almost like they're saying, "I've got my eye on you!"
I am always able to find something here, even when I'm not looking for anything particular. And although sometimes the lines are long the cashier's move pretty quickly. It's definitely worth the wait. The store in Bellevue have changed. It used to be the best Ross to go to but now it's like a Salvation Army. The downtown Ross is amazing and so are a few on the North End
Clothing selection is decent. They could improve the home decor area with more stock on the floor. Also the aisles have merchandise on the floors, making it hard to manuver and browse. Friendly staff though!
Not sure if I just caught it at a bad time, but a lot of stuff was out of stock or low on stock and the fitting rooms were all closed. The latter was likely for COVID reasons, the former might have done with my arriving pretty early in the morning.
Very impressed with their ability to get customers in and out despite being short handed. Professional security staff let me know I dropped my phone and remembered to say hello to me when I came in and when I left.
The store has great prices but they hardly ever have any bootcut jeans. Mostly they sell skinny jeans. Also they hardly have any short sleeve button up shirts.
Went in to hopefully find a pair of shoes with memory foam inside soles as they are the only kind that I can wear with me having severe neuropathy. They had them not only in the size I hoped to find but in "wide'. Staff as always friendky, expediant and curtious, which in that store right on 3rd and Pike cannot be an easy location to work at.
pike branch durty full of rubbers location ok
Love this store and all the cashier ladies are beautiful and nice people . Even the loss prevention staff dont make me feel uncomfortable like so many places in Seattle can tend to be and i never even have to worry about that cause I don't steal , but I still get uncomfortable in stores. But here they always treat me with dignity and respect.
Great prices as with all Ross stores, and this one is much tidier than some I’ve been in, no clothes and shoes all over the floor or anything. Even when it is busy they seem to work hard to keep everything organized. The dressing room attendant this afternoon was friendly and helpful, and very diligent.
I was also so impressed with a few of the other employees this time. I watched as they used their own money to buy a blanket and give it to a man in need who had been shopping and could not afford to stay warm in this freezing weather. I think this sort of behavior should be commended and I will definitely continue shopping here. I cherish seeing the staff treat people with respect, and it makes things like “loss prevention” feel pretty darn pleasant. And of course plenty of cute clothes and affordable household doo-dads.
I go to Ross about 3 times a week. They always have a new selection of styles and the prices are amazing.
The place was so clean and everyone were friendly. The prevention loss person was moving a hound for no good reason and was passing us again and again.
It seemed like we were some sort of thieves and they way employees replied were also fascinating. They don't look at you but say hi and then they do not even smile.
Else the store is really a dress for less store.
Store is nice but they are 2 security officers who forces people to wear mask, prepare for it if you are planning to go there.
The product quality is not that great. But you are getting what you pay for. I recommend going over to TJ Maxx for better quality and better style items. The staff is very friendly and welcome you as soon as you walk through the door. But that might even be a loss prevention tactic.the best deals I found here were for luggage which is located just inside the store.
The selection is typical of any Ross. So, decent. I've found a lot of good things there. The staff is great. They are always pleasant and helpful. It's a Ross.
New Management and got rid of the nasty one!! Pleasant shopping
Ross stores are not all the same but many are well managed and filled with possibilities. I love Ross Dress for Less. Best bargains on brand new brand name clothing, shoes and luggage. I come here for everything! Stock is limited, but if you find it in your size, it's at a great price
Sometimes you need to actually buy something in person. At a discount. Without waiting for delivery. Especially a delivery your neighbors might steal.
Dear Ross Dress for Less, I used to make jokes about you and even snide comments. Today, I write you this love letter. Please don't leave me, baby, I'm sorry I said all those things about you. If you would just stay open till 7 instead of 5 I would do anything for you. I promise. I'll even let you meet my family. Just don't leave me, baby. 💋
False advertisement they said that they take EBT and my for some reason my car didn't go through and I didn't like three times and that's no excuse cuz then I went over to over to Walgreens and used it just fine and like I said it was for food so there's no reason why my card should be worth over there
Love this place but why are the lines so freaking long??
It is in a fairly good location and does have lot of stuff which is reasonably priced. Especially useful if you are shopping for say bedsheets, towels etc for a bachelor pad as you aren't really looking for too much variety and wouldn't be wishing to spend too much times. Jackets, t -shirts etc if you are lucky you could pick up a well known brand for a reasonable price. Off course people shopping at Ross know they need to search to get something worthwhile.
This would be an awesome store if it had some nicer employees , When I obviously needed assistance no one volunteered to help and upon asking I was greeted with an attitude that put off the impression they just did not want to be there
Make sure to check item you purchase. Sometimes they sell damaged item. Security will follow you like you are criminal but they are just doing their job. I usually go there to buy stuff for my dog and they are so cheap. Overall I like it!
My local ross, always has somewhat of a good find, usually clean and quiet. I love coming here for clothing or house items
I got there just to say open it was really clean...
Unfortunately you only have one checker and a line!
My partner and I were amazed at the selection. There are two floors, and amazing prices. We came to Seattle for a show and needed a quick warm jacket for walking around. We found one for $15 and were out of the store in less than ten minutes.
I was there the week before Christmas looking for two specific items. They had a huge assortment for one of the things I was looking for, but none of the other. I was disappointed for the lack of the one type, but more than satisfied with the other item I needed. The price was fair and the extra long line to checkout moved aling nicely!
Ross has some of the cutest clothes this season. I went in for a t-shirt and came out with 100.00 dollars of merchandise. The workers are extremely helpful. Normally you would go to Ross and the workers would be rude not the downtown store. Now the dressing room attendant is on the rude side all the time
By far one of the best Ross-es in the whole world. Large collection, full floor for men, tons of clearance. These are the things we like seeing in Ross. Don't even bother going Bellevue/Redmond ones which have really limited collection.
Despite neighborhood they have a great selection despite size and location
Good variety of clothing however I was not shopping for myself and we were only in the shoe area.
Merchandise selection is adequate. Found stuff I'd like, but then you ouldn't purchase it because the staff was down to only two cashiers for a line that wrapped around the store. Keep in mind, there are 13 registers.
Overall it's alright. The security guard is super nice and kind. However, most of the cashiers are all kind of like zombies - no facial expressions, no greetings. The selection for women is okay. I would recommend getting basics here and more trendy items at TJ MAXX for the same price. Yet, the men's clothing seems to be pretty decent. There's not tons of choices either, but you do get some quality clothes if you're willing to spend a fair amount of time!
Good products in less price their tag line is very true.
It's a good place to shop for cheap. I wouldn't come here for my entire wardrobe because it's kind of hard to find anything in particular, since with stores like this, there's rarely a rhyme or reason for how things are sorted, and things are often in places they shouldn't be in. The staff is very friendly.
Lots of cheap stuffs compared to other stores. Except we had to queue up a very long line. Later on they add up another cashier. I bought quite some stuffs and i loved it.
*Very organised, and clean. Great selection of goods. Staff are friendly and helpful. Dressing rooms are clean and well maintained. Bra section had very limited stock but overall a great store.
*This is compaired to Ross in San Fransisco ( San Mateo & Market street); they are disorganised (hard to find stuff in the right place as indicated), and can appear dirty (cloths sprawled on the floor). Dressing rooms are very dirty with broken fixtures!!
As Ross stores go, this one is just okay. It's got it on size, but the store tends to be messy, and the availability of normal size men's clothes and shoes always seems limited. If you're in the neighborhood and can check the store often, you might be able to find something good, but it's truly hit or miss at this location.
The layout is less than stellar and it always appears disheveled. However the prices definitely make up for the clumsy displays. The store also offers a wide variety of useful clothes and useful (and some quirky) home items.
I'm always able to find a great pair of denim jeans and a good shirt. Also have found fantastic deals on shoes- Converse! Some times are better than others.
I think the prices are a bit higher than other locations I've visited - 11 dollars for a packaged dress shirt compared to 9 in Shoreline. That said, they have a good selection and two floors, in the heart of downtown.
I can find great deals on shoes here, even finding some Air Jordan's on occasion. Clothes here are also quite cheap, but could be a bit better quality. Customer service is also OK.
I usually go to the Ross on Andover but I decided to go downtown to the Pike Street Ross in hopes of having a better selection on Men's shoes but I was disappointed. They really didn't have anything i liked but I did find one pair of shoes that I bought. I think I'll sticc to the Ross in Mount Baker
Had what I wanted. Ice quality for under twenty dollars..
This is a great place to get bedding items as well as clothes. Despite the good prices the quality is often lacking. You get what you pay for. Also this location of Ross is often very low on inventory.
I like Ross they always have something that I'm not looking for. And sometimes something that I am looking for I don't know which is better at this store but it is full of surprises. You can really get a great deal on some name-brand stuff that's brand new.
I've been to this store a couple of times. Always crowded and always seems to be a little low with the items in the women's department. Not much of a variety. You'd be better off going to a Ross's out of the city. On the other hand, good selection in the men's department.
Ross is a great place. Hope we dont lose anymore retail stores in our downtown core. Just discovered Earthbound closed in downtown also. Deborah
The Ross downtown on 3rd&Pike is by far the best store I have been too yet-and I've been to a lot! They always have an excellent selection for womans purses, sweaters/sweatshirts, kids shoes & toys. The Loss prevention gentleman that is usually at the door is extremely nice and very helpful as far as help navigating around the store. It is two stories so it is big but very organized.
I love taking my girl to Ross ,she could open her own shoe store,LOL, but each Ross we go to customer service has been super, and we're both happy with your services and will continue shopping with Ross tell the end of time, or tell we run out of room for all my girl's shoes, thank you Ross for being there for us....
Ross is holding down the corner of 3rd & Pike thankfully. Most stores in that corridor have closed. Open for shopping by socially distancing. Still great bargains but less inventory.
This is a pretty big Ross. I think it's two stories with the first story being shoes and clothing only and the second luggage and home decor. The second story is underground. Some really cute finds, but all the clothes look so worn. Checkout was really slow, too.
Store was almost èmpty do to the fact that most of the shoppers were in line to checkout. Which when I was ready to go it took me and a friend just about 30 min before We got to the register to pay for our things
I was looking for $5 or less socks, shoes, pants, shirt, and coat and bra deals. I didn't find any for that price.
Found a great deal on tennis shoes
Great location for picking up last minute pre cruise items. Saw many cruise ship staff here, and talked to some on board saying they make a quick trip here because they can find items here for a better price than other cruise ports!
Don't know why this place is still open. Worst Ross store I've ever been to. Before the internet allowed for easier liquidation you could find deals here. The shoe Dept is pathetic. Dirty and empty. Head to a Ross in suburbs to have any chance. Waste of time. Rack is better by a mile and just up the street.
Things aren't organized well at all, and the lines are always so long. I can't even count how many times my boyfriend or I have put stuff back and left instead of waiting in the long lines for a few items we didn't really need.
I like this store. I bought some clothes, kitchen staff and more for less money.
I can almost always find a bargain here. Socks, gloves, gifts, children's clothes, kitchen gadgets and bedding lure me back. Ross stores are not all the same but many are well managed and filled with possibilities.
Looking for something special for your love ones?? This is just the right store to come over and find something here, the best of everything is the they are open until 12.00am giving you time to be there after work or after any other business at night. Secure place with friendly stuff inside.
Oh gosh this store. It's like any other Ross- a little messy, a little crowded, a little rough around the edges. But they still have good prices for some good products and do their best in keeping the place orderly. It's downtown, so they have even more of a challenge on their hands.
If you are looking for daily wear, and don't swear by brands, this is the place to be! Super value for money choice of clothes for all. However you need to spend time finding the right design and fit for you
Decent selection. I'm an Oregonian who stops in here on almost every visit looking for Seattle sports merchandise. Hit or miss, as with any Ross. Thankful that even though I am usually carrying luggage the security never give me side-eye. Hooray white privilege!
I came here to find a shirt for my mother as she was visiting from out of town and wasn't prepared for the weather. I did find what we were looking for me, but this place is definitely scary at night with many homeless/drug addicts outside. I suggest coming to this location in the day time if you must come here at all.
Quite reasonable prices for items being sold there. But finding what you want is quite dependent on luck there. I could not find quality winter jacket or trekking shoes for me, but got lucky for some other stuff.
Good prices and a lot of variety! Customer service could be better though. Also, if you go at night you might find some things on the floor.
Friendly staff and convenient location for me. They tend to have a surprisingly great selection of clothing- including seasonal clothing. Worth a quick look if you are downtown sometime.
I bought shoes of brand Tommy Hilfiger with 50℅ discount.
I like this place for discount only. You won't find much variety. I have waited couple of days and visited multiple times before buying shoes.
It's a solid discount retailer but what you save in pricing you loose in service. I recommend early visits during low traffic days, rush hour is a nightmare there.
I love shopping here. It's affordable, and sometimes you may get lucky and find clearance items.
Love shopping here plenty of security but The homeless people that are around the store
Its a good place and all, but for some reason, I always don't find what I need. Its not about any Ross but this specific Ross. It seems like a huge store, but hardly has stuff that will be useful. I might be a very specific person with this problem though
Lots of clothes on what seems like endless racks. This store is not for quick shopping trips. Be prepared for a hunt, but at times it's worth it to leave with a awesome treasure.
I love the vintage feel of the historial Woolworth location. This store is clean, has security for all those uncooperative people. Well stocked, cheap prices, fast and friendly service.
I'm only giving 3 stars because the selection of women's clothes is not very good if you're a plus size. There simply is not enough room in this store to carry a lot of different inventory.
Ross was cool, i was impressed with the dress shirt selection. i needed one for a casual business look and i found exactly what i was looking for. loss prevention could maybe step up their game cuz pretend browsing and staring at someone wont help especially when i like buying clothes, cuz lets be honest jail food sucks. sundays and wednesdays are good days for me to go. you can always find good stuff no matter what style you like to wear.
To many people disorder the place you know street designers and graffiti! I try to run around the bunch! But the styles are awesome!
Ross Downtown Seattle, I'm not a big Ross shopper but this One is worth your trip! Awesome selection of quality stuff! Great store! Awesome location for a whole day event! Definitely a must do!
Too hot inside dont go inside on really hot days. note; if your shopping for mens wear go to a different location the boosters (shoplifters) seem to steal all the good clothes like Ecko Gear, Nike, Southpole, Adidas, and other one of a kind mens wear but they seem to get most of the Ecko Gear
Found good deals on belts and caps. The store is well-organized and clean considering it's right in the middle of the city
Plenty of selection. A little different than the Ross in my hometown haha! Their security is on point, but I guess they have to be! Decently kept and organized. Lines weren't too long either which was nice.
I love the Ross Jewelry counter! Occasionally you can get some good finds there
I always like coming to this store. You find nice stuff for good price.
They have a huge section of shoes and clothes and a huge clearance section. the security guards are always so nice as well as the cashiers Ross always my favorite store.
Love this place most of the time the have nice stuff idk if its covid or what but lately they havent had much for mens i think... I still think they have the best stuff at that one tho
Called in to Ross in Seattle on sat 23rd September and were so lucky to meet sales assistant, Ramone. She was so pleasant and helpful, and made us travellers from Ireland feel so welcome in your lovely city. She is indeed a treasure, I just wanted to make you aware of this. Thank you so much.
Great location, Great Price. The store is stuffed with lots of items, which makes it feel like unorganized. But, you have time, and patience to dig, you are looking at 25% savings, at least.
The aisles are wider, which is great. A lot less stuff to buy from years past.
Being from california I was never expecting the taxes to be at 10% plus having to pay for parking. On the upside, I found a few items at a reasonable price. Location is very easy to find
although it's in a shechy spot, it's always clean and they have great customer service. This is the best place in Seattle for home goods.
Great place to shop. They practically have every thing you can think of at killer prices.the people are very friendly and helpful. My favorite store
I was able to get a lot of clothes and undies and socks all for 95 dollars.
Actually had clothing to buy. Good to see the boosters haven't boosted the entire store.
I went into the Ross on Pike St. downtown. I was looking for a garbage can. I left with a nice white bathroom mat and a nice white shower curtain. Thanks Ross.
It's alright...I didn't liked all the stuff and it was not that much organised..the collection of a bit old but many offers were on going..socks and kids clothes were somewhat affordable..
The most amazing variety of clothes, shoes and accessories! More amazing is the prices! Great service by the employees as well! I will definitely be going back!
My shopping experiences at Ross have always been extrordanrily pleasant. I have a college degree earned in Retal Mangment and have appreciated the Ross sales associates friendly and helpful response to any of my requests for help, no matter what my requests may have been. The Security personnel deserve a compliment also for their professional and helpful attitudes. I am ahandicapped vereran confinde to a wheelchair which makes makes the shopping experience a difficult undertaking for me in some places. When I return from my daily to the VA Hospital, the bus drops me off right at the Ross front door. I shop at Ross several times a week . I find that It is one of the best highlights of my day. I have four adult sons, their wives, grand children, and my Judy ,so there is always something at Ross that I can be on the lookout for. Thank you all for that you do for me and the Seattle community. Good job. Douglas C.Dean
This store always has new things and most of the time, I always find what I need.
I like that they continously change the location of things because they only change it by a little. The security people are also very friendly and they always greet you when you come in and when you leave.
Strip the pretence and shop for value. I have picked some real bargains at this place. This place makes so much sense for many types of shopping, think comforters, gym t shirts, casual t shirts, baby bibs.... The list is long
Great selections but not enough cashiers.
I forget about Ross! I found so many amazing things to add to my wardrobe! Everyone was nice and it wasn't too disorganized like some stores may be.
Similar to Winners or Marshalls. It had some decent deals but things had more of a thrift store feel. Areas were not as tidy but still can move around the aisles.
ROSS is an excellent place to 'dig' good items if you have time and patience. It's better go on Wednesdays since, in general, it's the day of week when new items arrive.
Bargin hunter paradise! Stock is limited, but if you find it in your size, it's at a great price! I don't always find what I'm looking for, but when I do, it's like finding gold.
The prices are great, but it's hit and miss whether they'll have what you want. There are some items they won't let you try on. Still, it's a great value.
Not too much selections.
Went there after exploring many other stores. Have found all the amazing stuff I was looking for. Happy customer:)
Great place to shop, new items in almost every 2 weeks and prices are low
Good prices for everyone..
I wish this store was in a better location... and I always seem to come in for shoes and never find anything in my size so I go up and down half a size and still cant find anything...sad.
It has what you need but... I felt like a shoplifter just for shopping. I guess I can understand how the security is so overstated, but it's a little awkward for us normal people who don't understand why we're being followed constantly.
This location is always busy, so give yourself ample time to wait in line. Aside from that it's a large store with many options that tend to be well organized.
Had a great deal of clothes. The bad thing was there was only 3 cashiers to check us out. The made checking out a long process.
didn't Have what I needed. I don't know when to shop there, they always seem to be out or less of what I need
I don't know what this store did, but it's to the 10X in improvement. All the Ross's started going down hill with it's looks, cheap looking clothes, always a mess. I wear a 10 shoe and the rack would be full of every size but mine...lol. I started going straight to the household stuff after a while, then I stopped. The Ross in Everett is scarce. What a shock when I happened to be in downtown Seattle and walked in this store a few months. I asked the clerk what happened? And she said new management. Very neat, clean, It looked like the Ross back in the day when they first came up. This store needs to help improve the others. I couldn't believe the luggage section - upstairs and down. I will come be back. Worth it to drive or catch the bus on a nice day. Thanks downtown Ross for cleaning this store up. Don't go back..lol
Bought a Calvin Klein cabin baggage for RS.3400/- Paid in Indian currency inclusive of all charges. Great deal and good options.
They always have good finds!
Real nice pants and shirts for very low prices, without showing a reason or a discrepancy to cause such low pricing.
Busy but they keep it well organized and clean, good deals to be had, I was able to find 1000 thread count sheets for only 30 bucks
I liked it overall but kinda pricey compared to other Ross locations and needs to keep stocked better. The selection with shoes wasn't si great.
It was great prices day--i always spend too much!!
Found everything I was looking for and a couple thing I didn't know I needed. As long as your willing to spend some time in here searching, you will probably find something you like.
Best place to get luggage in the heart of seattle. If you need some extra space, this is the place to go. Travellers like me thank the sansonite deals after all that shopping.
The prices are great, the staff is friendly, and the selection of clothes and other goods is phenomenal! Plus the store is really clean and well organized.
A great selection of clothes and shoes and many more. Great deals for all ages
Staff are very polite and helpful. The store is well organized, so finding the item I needed was a breeze. Thank you Ross
Huge store (two floors) but a little hectic and messy inside. I've managed to find some great deals here, but I usually go to the tjmaxx across the street for a slightly less stressful experience
Always fun to see what unusual items they've got that you never knew you needed. Also worth a look for everyday needs at reasonable prices.
I've never had a bad experience at Ross. They have legit products, at decent prices.
It's hard to shop for clothes here since the inventory always changes. But it's a nice place to go browse for random items
Good choice of shopping if your looking to get some good deals.
The lady maningbthe trual room was biased. She refused me, saying closing time and blatantly gave someone else.
Crowded, picked through store with super long lines and a large security force. For your best chance at finding what your looking for and not having to wait in a long line, arrive within 1 hour of opening..
Some great deals here! A lot to sort through, but I was pleased with the variety and bonus to have great selection in plus sizes.
My Wife always shops a Ross when in the US if we can find them - brand names at discount prices, good value for Canadians shopping.
Ross never really has what I'm looking for, but I always find something cool and unexpected. The staff are really nice and are willing to help with a smile.
I found some good deals at this Ross.
Love to visit ross in general. The line always gets me a bit flustered. But the people behind the counter try as hard as they can to make it not so unbearable
It’s very nice especially with the 2 floors but there are only 2-3 cashiers and it was very slow also there is no restroom
It was good but need more cashier's
My girlfriend really likes Ross she finds pretty much everything She Wants there
It's not a bad store. It's just in a bad part of Seattle
Nice customer service really friendly. Great price and location
Great prices and they have so much stuff. Great variety of things. Fun staff too
My friend went in I sat out front and waited and the door lady that day was very nice and had a very refreshing attitude because of her I give it a 5 star!
Love Ross great prices best place to shop for most of what you need
I liked how tidy the store was. many Ross stores I've been to have a tendency to get pretty messy but this location had clear aisles and was clean.
One of my favorites! Will be there at least twice a month and definitely on Tuesday 😊. Can be crowded but it's all good 👍 …
Had to go to the same chain (Ross) in a different state (I live in California) to find the dang shorts I've been looking for for about six seasons. Also cute tank tops.
An okay place to shop. Not sure if all products sold here are originals though. Bought a Reebok shoe but couldn't find the design in the original website or anywhere else.
It's a great place to shop if you only have a little money but be careful of the shoes try them on and walk around in them.
Very good
This Ross was well stocked overall, clean, and we'll organized. The had an abundance of luggage.
Decent selection prices are low. Unfortunately there were only 2 cashiers and 25 people in line
Customer service superb. Associates friendly and accommodating. Thanks to geena and everyone in the store. Keep up to keeping your store a friendly environment
I love Ross Dress for Less. Best bargains on brand new brand name clothing, shoes and luggage. I come here for everything!
So it wasn't too crowded not a huge selection but hey at least the store is open. Found what I was looking for and more.
Same items are far cheaper as compared to other store. Only thing is searching for the item might be tedious
Great fast and clean service.
This place have great things always busy need more cashier ... always the line is long would take 5 to 45 minutes just waiting to get help lol
Very very long lines to check out stuff is. Bit over priced on some stuff
Not every cloth is good quality. Nor every home items. But sometimes you get a good deal.
Prices are extremely low, and quality of goods is really decent.
Got a pair of boots that were tied together as a pair, they were both left boots and different sizes
You can get dresses, jackets, shoes, accessories, home items like entry tables, ottoman, storage items, bedding, kitchenware, table lamps etc. on a super reasonable rate.
Love this store. It has a huge selection & great prices. It never disappoints.
Huge store with a large selection. Close to public transportation so it's easy to get to. People there are nice and friendly.
Great place for low cost items for home decor, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The name implies clothing, and it is so much more than that.
After trying Burlington over visits and was very surprised I found the perfect pair of Columbia shoes !!
This is one of those places that tries way too hard to be something it's not. But it caters mostly to tourists so for the average individual I would say that there is not much of value inside
It's ok, but it is a little store if you compare it with others in other states, but is a good choice if you want to get something for a.good price
Its ok like the tools and an occasinal really good deal but no much other than that its basicly tjmaxx
Place is clean and organized, great place to shop. Considering the location, this deserves a nod.
I’d rate it 4 stars for the staff but overall the store is a bit cluttered and disorganized. Prices are still decent.
Great deals on Sunglasses. But beware they brake easily so make sure to keep receipts and tags.
Has a lot of interesting and hard to find kitchen stuff and general gadgetry, great selection and highly numerous, very freindly loss control people and good prices
It's kind of grimey, but I can't complain. Great prices!
Great deals on quality products! Shop early weekdays to avoid crowds and for better selection. One of the larger Ross stores !
It's great for saving money..I bought a Calvin Klein dress for just 20$ and it's just awesome🥰 …
Ok security needs to concern themselves with actual thrives instead of following the wrong person around, meanwhile inside help gets the boosters paid.
Employees are helpful.Items are easy to find. Prices are reasonable.
20+ people with to pay... 3 cashiers open...
Otherwise, good store, as every other Ross. Cheap and good for an emergency!
Really poor choices for a small mens section. Couldn't find a single half decent jacket or sweat shirt. Did buy some okay shoes for $50 that probably aren't worth it.
Found a very good deal for a pair of Nike shoes, if you don't mind last season clothes then definitely come here.
Good range of low cost clothing, a lot of choice in that price bracket. There is a bag charge in Seattle
Not like the Ross in San Antonio Texas. Much more variety of name brand clothes. Better quality too.
Great price
Always happy with this place. Found some great sunglasses and men's branded t-shirts this time.
So many things to choose from! The price is amazing for the quality of goods. The location is also very convenient.
Store has no stock. Employees standing around could have been of more assistance
A litte bit of everything. Great quality and small prices, but a word of advice: they don't always have everything, so it can be a bit of a treasure hunt sometimes.
We went in looking for some bad weather boots for my girlfriend Drew. She found a pair that she liked, I paid a reasonably fair price for them and we were on our way !!!
Quite a few items with low, affordable prices, such as dresses & women's shoes. The checkout gets horribly backed-up.
I LOVEEE ROSS. One of my fav stores, I know I can always find good quality clothes and shoes at an affordable price.
Super long line, but they were quick and so nice!
Wasn't able to find what I was looking for because there was just too many other products in the way. Large selection, but sheesh.
Ballard n Woodinville best 2 locations to shop dtown Seattle has to much going on hardly not enuff clothing you really can buy prices are high
I was impressed by the security that greeted me when I walked into Ross!
Friendly staff never have a good selection always bare and not one single picture
It is what you'd expect. Good prices, but slightly unwelcoming decor and be prepared to search harder then at a more upscale retail store for stuff you may be looking for.
The best part about this store is its prices. Good branded stuff for less.
HUGE store with tons of stuff. 4 stars because there was no way to get the strollers in the basement section. All they had was an escalator.
Good customer care, and goods are very affordable and great quality. It saves some of us😂. I love the shoes in ross😄 …
Not the best selection. We went there on January, stayed there for an hour but couldn't find a good dress to buy....
Overall a good place to still find product variety at mostly realistic prices.
Eh it's ross, if you've seen soccer mom's vs the duties in elementary school get in a fight you can survive seattle s ross
Good prices and lots of things to buy
The location is super convenient. Their overall selection is pretty slim
A lot better since I last went here and more organized.
Lots of neat stuff, friendly associates, competitive prices
Can't keep myself away from this shop. Reasonable pricing on items. Designer jackets available.
I love finding a great pair of shoes at a discounted price. They have great accessories as well.
I can almost always find something I like there but I do wish that they would label the racks a little better
Best shoe selection and really good prices.
Nice place for shopping. Very good prices
Ross is a great store if you are searching for bargain. The only downside is that they don't have sufficient variety.
Very clean store. Friendly staff! I did not find anything I need, but it was fun to walk around.
Decent inexpensive clothes; better quality shoes than Payless. Mens', womens', kids'.
Good place for buying cheap clothes and stuff. It is on 3rd Avenue so it doesn't look like a safe place to be around especially at night.
I like it, but don't expect to find there everything. There's bits of this and that. Good prices, nevertheless.
You may find nice quality items in economical prices after searching for a while.
It is OK not a big store so variety is not good..Bit the location is good for people that live down there.
The store employees are very nice and helpful, and everything on the floor is nicely organized and easy to find.
Prices are great. But i think it doesn't have much variety as other Ross Stores do.
If you know what you want, have the patience to look for it, and aren't picky about style, you can get stuff here at a pretty significant discount.
It's always random what you can find. Overall good. Needs more toys
I always find something I love at Ross Dress for Less whether it's for my family or myself! 😍 …
Love to shop for work pants, and occassionally a new outfit. Great for when you're on a budget.
Clean Ross friendly workers nice security lots of nice clothes and deals here definitely will come back
Didn't get harassed by workers . Thank you
The store has a strange layout....... Good prices & selection, however.
Can be very busy although there are many cashiers. Aisles are a bit crowded and maneuvering around people can prove to be a difficult task.
Very nice and workers are good with people
Good store to get clothes for less but the sizes are not sorted accordingly
Found some very unique jewelry here today. You just never know what you may find at a Ross.
you get what you pay for it's kind of a hit-or-miss at Ross dress for less you never know if they're going to have anything or the shelves may be empty
Always great deals! Good customer service and a smile!
Great place for discounted men's footware. Selections from UnderArmor, Fila, Perry Ellis, Skeechers to name a few.
I bought my shower curtains here for half of the price of the nearby Target. There's a line to check out.
My favorite Ross. So many deals here and they have a large selection of petite clothing.
It was not crowded good customer service
Always good. Nice people and a nice store. Great prices.
My top choice place for shopping downtown. Good looking clothes for affordable prices.
Good prices, but I've had to return a lot of purchases
Great prices I frequent this store always has what I'm looking for
It's ok it could have more of a variety of clothes and men shoes
Nice affordable clothes, service is great too..
It has good selection of clothes only at times and needs lot of effort to find good pieces of clothing.....
The prices were right the quality was good enough however the lines more atrocious, need more checkout people otherwise five stars
My fave $5 buck
"can-always-find-something-cute or cool-to-add-to-my-wardrobe"
Store =)
Good place to buy clothing. Inexpensive.
A little hit and miss depending on stock, but good for luggage, basics (eg socks) and sometimes kitchen items.
Store needs alot more product in every dept. It appears as if it's closing, Good Luck.
Always super nice and friendly. They do best to ensure safety too!
I got all I need for a fair price and all sales associates and security officers are friendly
Store was clean and organized. Found everything I needed. I will go back again.
Nice people good prices shop there a lot never disappointed
Reasonable prices. Plan on buying a pair of shoes. End up buying 3 pairs
Typical Ross store but clean and items are on the racks and shelves and not on the floor.
LOVE the selection and prices. Would drive from Vancouver just for this store.
Downtown Ross? Downtown Ross! Even cooler than the one on the strip in Vegas, it seems like I need something from here every time I'm in town.
Good place to go for good deals. You may not get all sizes.
Reasonable prices for name brand items at a lower price then the larger retail stores
