I have to say this was a very cute plant shop. They have a lot of amazing plants that are grown pretty big so you don’t have to go through the process of growing them from a small plant. The plants are well taken care of. They offer a few pots that are really cute for your plants as well. I also love that they have a community propagation station you can bring a propagation of your own and take one for free that someone left behind it is amazing! The prices here are a little steep for sure but other than that this is a great shop I love it.

Holy macaroni! This is an AMAZING store. The wife and I drone down from Layton just to check the place out..........I love this store. Not only did we score some healthy, beautiful plants, we also left with our first rare plant for our moderate collection. Couldn't be happier. If you love plants, YOU HAVE GOT TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!

This is my favorite store of all time. They sell plants that are high quality and HEALTHY. Every plant I’ve gotten from here has practically had guaranteed new leaf growth for a couple of months after purchase. You can easily tell the difference between a plant from Thyme and Place and a plant from Home Depot. Even the prices are amazing. They offer a variety of 2-4 inch plants that are $15 and under! The picture I included is my lemon lime prayer plant I got from them this Spring. This thing is like 3-4 times the size it was when I bought it!!

THIS IS THE BEST PLANT SHOP! This place is so cool and the staff are so nice! Even offered to pot one of the plants we were buying in our new pot! They are also super knowledgeable about what the plants you’re buying will like! Definitely coming here next time I want more!

Beautiful store and plants. One of the plants I brought home has spider mites. Pests are inevitable, but I would expect due to their limited number of plants that they would be treating/examine their plants closely. A spider mite infestation could ruin their credibility and kill their stock of plants.

My first visit was just to browse and Abe was so sweet to take time to talk with me about possible future plant plans. Today I returned to buy my daughter a gift. Melinda helped guide me to the perfect plant and adorable pot. She potted it right then and pot it in the most adorable display. I can’t tell you how much my daughter loved the presentation and this little sweetheart plant! It was a perfect gift! Thank you!!!

This shop is so cute and the staff are so friendly. If you’re looking for houseplants (both rare and common) or pots, this is a great place to check out!! The coolest part is the take a cutting/leave a cutting propagation wall. Bear is also the cutest shop doggo. I recommend visiting here often because stock changes frequently.

I love it here. My wallet is lucky if I’m not here twice a week but I pretty much live here. Everyone is so sweet and helpful. The staff is amazing and Melinda, the owner, is just the best. As a queer person and a POC I love to see that they truly support us and aren’t just for one months year like so many places. It means the world to me to feel so welcome in a public space. My entire house is furnished w pots and plants and I could not be happier. My husband and I just took the terrarium course and we had a dang blast!!!!! Could not recommend this place any higher and I will be back like I am all the time 😂 seriously the absolute best

This neighborhood got spot is a must see if you live anywhere near this area! Go grab a mock tail and Curiosity and walk over to Thyme and Place and other cool neighborhood haunts of this amazing neighborhood. They have great house plants and advice for how to take care of them. If you have any issues with any of your plants I strongly recommend bringing them in or bringing photos of them in and you won’t regret it. Their knowledge is so helpful!

Love this place! They had beautiful, unique, well taken care of plants. We also really enjoyed the other things the shop had like the cutest tiny pottery and other unique finds. The person who was there ( wish I had gotten their name) was so helpful and gave us great information and tips on the plants. Loved seeing such forward thinking, progressive and loving themes in this shop. I’m not sure if Bear is in the shop frequently, but he was a very polite and cheerful “ greeter”. Making a four legged friend is always a plus. Would definitely make the hour and a half drive to stop by again.

Love this shop so much!! This is my go-to for house plants, and they have cute accessories too like macrame plant hangers, pots, greeting cards, etc. So cute and fun to shop around in. The staff are always so friendly and helpful answering questions or potting your plant for you. Highly recommend!

My wife loves this shop and I am truly thankful for its existence. It’s the highlight of our week when we can go look at their selection and visit Bear (the friendliest dog employee this side of the Mississippi) plants are super healthy and the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. They even have a plant clipping exchange station for other plant lovers to share their plants with others. Honestly I couldn’t imagine buying a plant from anywhere else! Thank you Thyme and place.

I absolutely love this store! The owner and the staff are extremely kind and detailed. The store is incredible and there’s so many options and rare plants for reasonable price. All my plants I’ve had from there have never had any issues and are extremely healthy. They are so non judgemental and always answer any questions I have. They are extremely detail oriented and always customize a plant for you with delicacy and care. The vibes are immaculate, I would honestly just sit there if I could and soak in all the positive calming energy. They are active in human rights and in plants which is huge for a small business, support local for this awesome brand!!! I 10/10 recommend this place to everyone.

This place is any plant lover’s dream. Melinda has a wide selection of beautiful plants, and she puts so much love and care into each of them. I bought a beautiful sansevieria and a gorgeous pot for it. She potted it for me and added some top stones of my choice that complemented the plant perfectly. I also appreciate the shop’s support of local artisans. They carry beautiful pots, prints, even a few hand-crafted children’s toys and home decor pieces.

This store has just about everything you would want out of a small plant store. There's big plants, small plants and everything in between. Prices are great. The employees/owner are fantastically knowledgeable about all of the plants in store, how to take care of them and how to make them thrive. What a time to shop... covid 19 making things interesting. But Thyme and Place handled everything beautifully. I was able to find a few plants, a couple for myself and a gift for a bride, and I even enjoyed petting the cutest little house dog! I love this shop! It is such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is a record player with vinyl filling the shop with music and an abundance of beautiful plants and containers. I bought a planter here that I had been lusting after from a website. I prefer to shop locally, which is usually at a premium, but this shop was actually selling the same one for much less! The shop owner helped me find a plant that would work well in the location I had in mind, which has been difficult to grow anything well. As a bonus, there is a separate herb and tea shop located in the back. Check that out too!

This is the best plant store in SLC for houseplants that are well cared for and loved thoroughly. The extra touches this place gives the plants is so special: labels with scientific names and light/care instruction... extremely good soil, and drainage plates for the pots. 10/10.

I love the quality of the plants, I always find it worthwhile shopping at smaller nurseries because the quality of plant is much higher.
