Great selection of vintage clothing and costumes. If your into the hunt for fabulous in a finge budget this is an great place to be! Also for the 29 years I've been going there, the employees have been friendly and helpful which I LOVE!

Pib's is an awesome thrift shop. They have new and used. You can buy shoes, wallets, clothes, and costumes. A huge selection to choose from.. with the best prices. I have been shopping there for years and recommend it often.

This is one of those shops that's mystically hidden. You somehow never notice it until you know where it is, then you don't know how you have never been there! Very fun selection of items. You could spend days there and not see everything. Some of the prices are a little steep but everyone can find something to go home with.

There’s always some pretty cool finds, and the employees are great! The prices are the only reason I’m giving a 3 star. Found a Germs shirt covered in moth holes for $24, when you can get the same exact print online for 10. Several of their items were the same way, a bauhaus shirt with unintentional tears for $25 when you could get the same one brand new at hot topic for $20. These were NOT vintage or rare items btw, like I said, you can find the same thing online anywhere for much cheaper. Sad that thrifting has become a luxury. :(

I've never had a negative shopping experience when visiting Pib's. The staff are always welcoming, enthusiastic, and friendly both at the door as you enter and at the register when you're wrapping up. Fun selection with a ton of variety, though prices do lean a bit towards the higher side. I've found some of my favorite clothes and jewelry here and will happily keep returning.

Love coming here and seeing the variety of clothing for whatever your heart desires. Make sure you check the original tags and not just the store tags for sizes. Bought a dress tagged medium that ended up being an S, a pair of pants labeled and sectioned as an 8 but original tag says size 4, and a jacket labeled as medium but tag says XL. Issues that definitely could have been avoided if I waited for a dressing room or paid more attention but but c'est la vie.

Halloween day. No hair die that I was looking for in any other store. Found it at pibs and, they held it for me. Was a bit extra in price but, I needed it and they made it easy to get so... happy to pay a few extra on the big day to get what I needed. PIBS is awesome!

Love this place. I come here nearly every week and I still manage to find something cool every time. They've got new stuff, old stuff, halloween stuff (year round), and even wigs (also year round). Staff are super friendly/attentive and they have a stamp card for every $10 spent :D. This is usually the first place I like to stop at to look for costume pieces (most recent one being a tracksuit jacket for my squid game costume). Highly recommend for thrift store fans.

Pib's is my favorite thrift shop! Prices are a bit higher than other places but completely reasonable given the quality of merchandise available - tons of vintage and alternative clothes in near-mint condition. They also sell costumes year round, including a large selection of kigurumis. Great selection and friendly, helpful staff!

Fun place to look for clothes. It's clean, doesn't smell funny, staff was helpful, and has a costume section. To be honest, the costumes left a lot to be desired but I might just be picky. Definitely worth a stop.

This place is great. I won't wear leather if it's not handed down, and this place has the most hip and vintage styles I've seen in Utah. I found a sweet suede jacket here, and I'm always excited to give things another life! I also like that they mark their clothes as vintage when they know, and that the staff is super friendly. My favorite thrift store in town by far! Fair prices and a wide variety of clothing. Staff is always attentive and friendly, but during my most recent trip, I met a worker that was truly exceptional. Her name was Maddie. She definitely left the sort of impression that makes one’s whole week! I will for sure come back soon with hopes of seeing that wonderful girl again.

One of the best secondhand stores in the area! They have a variety of sizes and styles! I am a big fan of their eclectic accessories- especially go go boots! They also have a great staff that has helped me find some fun and unique pieces. They also have a whole section of Halloween gear from costumes to hats to wigs! Very nice thrift store, they offer many different types of clothing ranging from more subtle vintage clothing to costumes. You might have to do a little bit of searching to find something you like but that’s the beauty of a thrift store! I also love how affordable everything is in the store.

Pib's is one of my favorite secondhand stores. It's fantastic for finding unique, vintage statement items, and the staff is always super nice and incredibly helpful. Expect more on prices than you would at Goodwill or DI because it's a curated selection, but believe me when I say they have the good stuff :) also, it's still more affordable and way more sustainable than most retail shops.

I tried to sell some of my clothing here, but as I sat petting the store cat, I watched the buyer go through some other people's bags of clothing. He eventually called me, telling me they were ready. I walked up, and he said that they weren't able to buy any clothing from me, but gave me a 10% off coupon. I asked why, and he said "Condition issues." I asked "Like what?" And he said "Just... condition issues." I opened the bag, and it looked like the clothing hadn't even been looked at. The coat I put in the bag last was still on top, and all of the shirts that I had folded and put in the bag were still folded and in the same order. I have my doubts about whether they even actually looked at the clothes. There was even a shirt I had gotten from Pib's a couple of months ago and worn once in the bag, and all of the clothing was in great shape - I had taken all of the damaged or worn stuff to DI. So yeah, they have decent clothing and a cool cat, but I get the feeling the buyer didn't feel like doing their job, and they couldn't give me a specific reason why the couldn't take my clothes other than nonexistent condition issues. Update from 2022: I have returned to Pibb's a number of times since writing that initial review, staff has always been really friendly and helpful. My experience that led to my initial review must've been a fluke! Definitely come check out their clothing.

Definitely something for everyone in this shop especially if you're into costumes. Halloween would be a neat time to go. Prices are decent. From what I gathered, the stuff seem pretty helpful when it comes to customer enquires. Now, what's the reason for the 3 star review? I am unsure why staff somewhat glared at me during my visit as though I had done something wrong etc. Normally as well, I do not always expect a hello when I am in stores as that's understandable but from the moment I stepped in, the person working the counter just did not seem to what to entertain me. Yet, when other customers entered, greetings were sent their way. An absolute turn off. If staff have a problem with a customer or want to say something, just approach the customer and "talk".

It’s sort of a step above Savers but a step below Vantage Vintage in Salt Lake in terms of vintage selection. If you aren’t dead set on finding cool vintage stuff and are open to any used clothing, this place is awesome. My only real complaint is that I wish they had longer hours!

Came here for the first time yesterday to pick up some show-make up, and boy, what a treasure this joint was. There was great staff, huge selection of clothing/accessories/etc. and some of the craziest cheap prices I'd seen anywhere. I walked out with my makeup (20$), and a nice H&M Winter Coat in almost brand-new condition (15$), and some 30$ Timberlands almost tempted me on the way out. A wonderful place.

Pib’s Exchange is quite literally the only place I go to regularly to buy clothes. Each of the staff members are consistently kind and helpful. They have a wide selection of quality clothing that suits almost every type of person. When selling at Pibs, the staff are quick to assess your clothes and typically pay very generously! I also appreciate and respect their response to COVID. I am yet to have a bad experience at Pibs, and I’ve been shopping there at least monthly for a couple years now!

One of the higher end consignment stores in the area. A LOT of great finds here, however I think the prices do reflect that. Definitely a little on the pricier end, I didn’t opt to buy anything this time, however I did love the selection, and organization of the store. Prices weren’t unreasonable, I’m just super cheap!! However they have a huge variety and even have top brands at grest prices. Every friend I've dragged here goes back by themselves or has shown their friends. Pibs is amazing! You can find really good clothes for very little money. I found my favorite dress there for 8 dollars, and my favorite shirt for 5! This is the best place to get Halloween costumes quick and just everyday clothing. They have other things like hair dye, accessories, and shoes as well, and those are just as good of deals.

When I first walked in I thought I had been given bad information from the really nice people at Cahoots, until I got to the back section and had to rush the guy helping me because I knew the longer I stayed the more I would be spending there... and I did, I ended up getting a better shirt for the outfit than I was planning on. What a fantastic selection of TRUE vintage items! Reminds me of going thrifting in South Florida in the 80s - before the supermodels took over. Old school, real deal legit. Soooo many costumes! I also loved the vintage clothes. If you can't find the costume you want here your a very difficult person. The only one thing I would ask more of is wigs but then they may have to be closer to Halloween for synthetic. It would be nice to see wigs that are costume/cosplay friendly to be able to brush,curl etc. It would improve upon the possibilitities on any costume. Mascarad masks abundance!!!!!! However was there. I am sure I will be back to this store repeatedly as this was my first time in the doors. 😊

I 💜 PIBS! I haven't sold clothing here yet but was walking my dogs around town while my friend was visiting from out of state and I had always been interested in going in Pibs, I just hadn't yet. I assumed they wouldn't let me in with my two small dogs so planned on waiting outside while my friend browsed the store. My friend asked if I could check out the clothing with my two small dogs who were on a leash. The women were so nice about it and even forewarned me about a cat somewhere in the back of the building (probably an employees I'm guessing). There was super cute clothing items here and I was so pleasantly surprised. Being from California I am used to different resale clothing stores and one of my ultimate favorites was Buffalo Exchange. Pibs reminds me of Buffalo Exchange so it will forever hold a close place in my heart!

All I can say is WOW!! Finally a place I can find alternative and goth styles at a ridiculously good price! I was beginning to become disappointed with all of the preppy consignment stores that only sell American eagle, UO, Anthro, forever 21, etc. in only very feminine or or specifically styled men’s clothing. I don’t care! I buy both ways. (Everything is unisex if you don’t care) I was so happy to find Pibs. I have completely changed my wardrobe to clothing items I am finally happy in my own skin wearing. Especially for such a great price. I also bring my service dog with me and the staff is always respectful and even remembers me on return visits. Pibs has definitely become my one and only stop for locally owned thrift and all of my clothing purchases ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This place is awesome, they always have a really good trendy selection of clothes and it's a great place to find full halloween costumes for a fraction of the cost. My only complaint is when I came in looking for halloween makeup the makeup artist there was super rude on two separate occasions I came in. She has an attitude like she can't be bothered to help you at all. The last time I came in I was looking for a bald cap. After waiting to be helped it seemed I was going to have to be more agressive to get help so I finally just said, "hey, can you tell me where I can get a bald cap?" And she said yeah its over by the wigs. So I go ok and I go to the wig counter where no one seemed to be so I had to again wait over there until someone came around. When someone finally did come up she ended up helping a lady that had come to the counter just a second before, while I had been waiting there for a few minutes so that pissed me off. Then as I tried to speak to ask her a question someone in the dressing room called to her to come help her so she left and I was stuck there waiting some more. Finally she comes back and I ask for the bald cap and she says, oh we only have wig caps over here, if you want a bald cap you need to go the makeup area. I said I was just over there and the makeup artist said to come here. She said oh I'm sorry about that and walked me over to the makeup area again, which I was happy she did so I wasn't just going back and forth by myself. She then said to the makeup artist, "you told her the bald caps were by the wigs? " and the makeup artist just scowled and said, "She asked for a wig cap, NOT a bald cap." I was very taken aback by her snotty attitude, I work in a customer service role too and I would never act like that toward a customer even if I really did think they asked for something else. A simple, "oh I'm sorry about that, maybe I misheard you here they are" would have been fine. But she had to act as if I was a bane on her existence and wanted to cover her own ass by claiming I asked for something different in a snotty attitude. And I know I didn't ask for a wig cap because I went to cosmetology school and I know the difference between the two. Anyway, long story short everything else here is great and most of the staff are nice but this makeup artist needs an attitude check.

Whenever I explore Sugar House I have to stop into Pibs Exchange. I have visited Pibs for years and every visit is fulfilling. I like shopping and selling clothing at Pibs because of their exotic taste in style. I once walked into pibs with clothing to sell and they told me they purchase clothing with little to no wear and tear, brands, and funky styles. and looking around the store you can definitely tell they have accumulated some interesting items. From fancy dresses, to everyday dress, pibs provides clothing with shnaz. In fact, Most of the items in my closet have been purchased at Pibs Exchange and I get compliments all the time. Not only is the clothing interesting but the staff and owners are amazing. They are courteous, helpful, unique, artistic, and kind. They are easy to get along with, and very helpful throughout the store. So if you want to create meaningful relationships, find exotic clothing, or empty your closet, Pibs Exchange is the place to go. (Pibs is like a treasure Hunt)
