I had the BEST experience with Alta Moda Bridal. From the moment I called to make my appointment, to the moment I left with my dress, they made me feel so special and treated me with such kindness! I worked with Collette for my fitting and she made all of my dreams come true. I am someone who does not like the spotlight on me, but she made me feel so comfortable!! The entire Alta Moda team was just so great to work with. So much so, that I wished my dress fitting never ended! I also was someone who came in with the lowest end of the budget in mind, and they were able to provide me with so many beautiful options to choose from. I truly found my dream dress! I did visit other bridal shops, but none compared to Alta Moda.

Great bridal salon! Had been to a few other salons back home in CT where I tried on a few dresses and thought I had an idea of what I liked, then came here somewhat on a whim while in town for venue visit and am so glad I did! They had a great selection of dresses and I felt very at ease throughout my whole appointment. After trying on a few options, my stylist brought me a dress that had off the shoulder puff sleeves but told me to 'just try it' - and it was the one! She tied the sleeves behind my back and said they could easily adjust the order to have the designer make the dress in a strapless strapless version, and she even recommended we adjust the back to dip down a bit and the dress came out better than I ever could have imagined! Thank you Alta Moda!

I got my dress at the Alta Moda sample sale and they made it such a fun and memorable day! I got my dream dress at an amazing price and my bridal assistant was so professional and fun to work with. Alta Moda has always been wonderful at answering all of my questions about my dress and every interaction I've had with them has been great. Not to mention, they have the best dress selection I've ever seen!

Alta Moda has the most beautiful dresses!! I found my dream dress and ended up on a crazy ride! The customs papers for my dress had gotten lost and my dress was stuck in Germany for a couple months. I didn’t get my dress until three days before my wedding. The Alta Moda staff did everything they could to get my dress there asap! They had me in to the store to talk about what was happening with the dress and to try on potential back up plans. They were in constant contact with the designer, and all the mail people to get updates as to when the dress would arrive. They were an absolute dream to get me into the store asap when it came in and I got my dress before the wedding! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because they did not have the best communication when everything was going wrong with the dress. I had to be the one to reach out first every time. But when they had me into the store they apologized and everything went perfect after that! I would recommend them to all brides.

I worked with Beth and I am obsessed with her! she has the most amazing energy, it was so fun! Alta Moda was incredible! I am not even joking when I say the 3rd dress they brought out for me was THE ONE! I am so happy I went to Alta Moda they really are the BEST bridal store! I was married in a LDS temple and I wear religious garments that cover the back where my dress was originally made open and completely backless. They ordered the exact fabric and you couldn’t even tell it wasn’t originally made that way. They are magic ❤️

The entire wedding dress shopping experience was amazing all because of everyone at Alta Moda Bridal. My dress shopping experience was so much better than I could have imagined. I had gone to 1 store prior to coming to Alta Moda, and I was pretty set in what I wanted. My stylist still took the time to not only look at my inspo photos, but discuss what I liked, didn't like, how I wanted to feel, and any concerns I had. She pulled me all the dresses I loved, and showed me several ways to build them up (to my modesty standards) and give them the features I wanted (puff sleeves, fuller skirt, etc.) I was really torn with several options and she ended up pulling me a dress that I would never have picked for myself, and it was an answer to my prayers! It had everything I knew I wanted, and so much more than I realized! It was perfect, she read my mind and made me feel so secure and supported in my choice! I never once felt rushed in my appointment (even though I was there a good 2 hours!). The whole team at Alta Moda took the time to celebrate with me, answer all my questions, and make me feel like a bride! They had several options for payment and how best to approach alterations and shipping since I live in Canada. I truly had the best day here and I am so thankful to everyone at Alta Moda!!

I would give Alta Moda more than 5 stars if I could! I went to multiple bridal shops and they were definitely the most comfortable shop I visited and had the best selection of dresses. They listened to what I originally wanted doing in but also helped open my eyes to different customizations I wanted to make. I ordered my dress knowing that it was a bit of a tight timeline but I received my dress a little over a week before my bridals giving me exactly enough time for the alterations needed. They did amazing on the measurements and luckily the alterations are next to none. The gowns are a bit pricey but the security in knowing you will get your perfect dress and they will bend over backwards to get it to you makes it 100% worth it!! I couldn’t be happier!

This place had all the substance and the fluff that was meaningful to me. This was a great high end experience. They served us lovely beverages and snacks which helped me get through it all. Alta moda is exceptional with their customer service! Immediately when you walk in they know your name, they ask you questions and they really try to make you feel special! Lexie was my consultant and she was phenomenal! I never felt pressured or persuaded by her she just listened to my likes and dislikes and always had a dress to put me in until I found THE ONE! There is a lot of discouragement around shopping at Alta Moda among young brides, the cost being a major argument - however, for brides that are able to look beyond just a price tag and understands what it takes to deliver outstanding customer service, curate a stunning bridal collection, hire and retain the very best stylist talent and therefore deliver a wonderful bridal shopping experience, the cost is very much so justified. Needless to say, I loved my experience. The dresses are amazing, some designers exclusive to the shop and suited my not size 0 body type beautifully. The shop itself is bright, airy and comfortable for wedding parties - with drinks and water provided. Moreover, they are the only bridal shop in Utah that allowed me to have a made to order dress and did not force me to buy one off the rack. Last but not least, I had the best time working with Beth and Jax (stylists) on my big day. They both have a decade of experience in outfitting brides of all shapes and sizes and went above and beyond to help me find THE ONE. Beth, is a magician at pulling zippers and is such a sweetheart in the dressing room as she helps you into and out of dresses. 5000% adore her and her big personality.

A few weeks ago I found my wedding dress at Alta Moda Bridal and I am in LOVE! This was my first appointment with a bridal shop for the day and Kate helped me have an absolutely wonderful experience. She is amazing at her job as a bridal consultant and is so stinkin' sweet! 💕 After I had tried on some dresses with Kate I then had to leave to go to a few other appointments at other bridal shops. I can't even begin to explain how bored I was. All I could think about were the dresses I was in love with at Alta Moda. I went back a few days later on a Saturday night and chose the dress I wanted and Jax was kind enough to take my measurements for the order. Over the weekend I completely changed my mind and wanted the second dress. After contacting Alta Moda they were so kind to let me come back and take measurements for the second one. Lexie fit me in around my crazy work schedule and helped measure me for the second time. So grateful for the extra hard work that these ladies put in to help me be a happy bride! I can promise anyone who shops here will be blown away by their elegant, classy, and unique dresses. Not only that, but you will love all the bridal consultants that go out of their way to make you feel special and you will leave a happy bride just like I did. 👰🏻‍♀️💍

JUST bought my wedding dress literally 20 minutes ago. I did a private appointment, and it was the most amazing experience EVER. Beth and Jax helped me out immensely. Beth picked out everything I wanted and made me feel comfortable and confident in EVERY single dress!!! She was seriously SO kind and listened to me and found my perfect dress for me. get these girls a raise they went absolutely above and beyond for me and I am so thankful! They didn’t make me feel bad if I didn’t love a dress and they genuinely wanted me to fall in love with my dress, which I did! Beth knew everything about every dress. Style, Designer, Perks, Shipping time, and Price. Jax had the greatest comments to add that helped me decide the dress that I ended up choosing. They were the best! I will forever be grateful for my experience of buying my wedding dress at Alta Moda Bridal. As soon as I set up my appointment, the shop texted me to ask about my style, what I'd tried on before, etc. I had a clear picture in my mind of what I wanted in a dress, but I hadn't found a good photo of one. I photoshopped my own photo of my dream dress and they said, "we'll be able to get you in this dress." They immediately helped me feel confident! I had the most enjoyable, professional experience at Alta Moda Bridal. Blair helped me out during the fitting. She had dresses already pulled for me to try on based on the texts. Very first thing, she put me in the PERFECT dress - a classic Alyssa Kristen dress, exactly what I was looking for. After discussing the ordering process, I realized that ordering dress was going to end up being more expensive and on a tighter timeline than I was comfortable with. I asked if they had anything similar that could fit with my needs. She left me for a moment and came back with another dress - a sample dress by the same designer that had been sitting in basement that they were willing to let me take that day. It needed alterations (as all dresses do!) - I couldn't even get my arms through the sleeves of the sample dress initially so Blair carefully clipped the front of the dress up so I could see what it WOULD look like after alterations (pictured). Then she and Jax explained EVERY step of the alterations process that would allow a seamstress to totally recreate the top of the dress to match the design I was looking for. I bought the dress that day, the boutique helped me order fabric from the designer, and they connect with the MOST talented seamstress. All together, they delivered a beautiful experience, and the perfect dress to meet my needs (design, budget, timeline). I can't say enough about my experience with Alta Moda Bridal. I don't regret a THING about my experience, and I am so grateful for their work and creativity to help me find the perfect dress.

I had such a good experience with Alta Moda Bridal! They made me feel incredibly special from day one and they had the best selection BY FAR of anywhere else I tried on. I felt physically ill at every other place after trying on my dream dress from here. Go as early as possible because my dress came on the last possible day for me to be able to take bridals. And the lady who altered my dress had to shorten her expedited time by two days in order to get it done the day before bridals. I called the designer store and they weren’t legally allowed to give me the tracking number they gave Alta Moda Bridal, but Alta moda Bridal wouldn’t give me anything other than “your dress has shipped from London.” They also told me my dress would ship early May but I didn’t get the notification that it shipped until May 12th, which I’m sure normally would’ve been fine but since it was so tight already I was extremely stressed. Additionally the sleeves I asked for were completely different from the sleeves I asked for when taking my measurements. I texted the picture I wanted but somehow they went with a different sleeve from a different dress I had tried on previously. Luckily they sent extra fabric and it ended up working out fine! So the five stars because it ended up alright in the end, they made me feel amazing the whole way through, and I had no fewer than five girls make me promise they could wear my dress at their wedding. However, I would just advise to give as much time possible, and have the designer add extra material in case something goes wrong.

My mom flew into town to help pick out my dress, and was accompanied by my Aunt and best friend. Emily was extremely patient with me as I tried on many dresses and worked hard to understand and match my vision. She also referred me to a great seamstress who made the wanted changes to the dress. Alta Moda is more pricey than other bridal boutiques but their team will provide the best quality gowns and greatest shopping experience.

Sara Darling helped find my dress and she was so sweet and patience with me & my 8 friends who came along. Everything was organized, clean, and went smoothly. Keep in mind their dresses are a little more pricey! They put me in touch with a seamstress who basically created the top half of my dress from the fabric I ordered from Alta Moda (if you love a dress, but wish something was a little different, they always have a solution). Rebecca was my seamstress and was a joy to work with. Bottom line... Alta moda is awesome.

Beautiful dresses and a lovely store. We had a wonderful experience! They really personalize it to the bride and her wants which was great! The dresses are expensive but all designer high-quality dresses are. They send you an email with your favourite dresses after the appointment so you can remember which ones you loved. And give glasses of water if you’re thirsty. Also, their bathroom was super beautiful and clean! They had lotion for after you wash your hands and some other things you can use!

I would give 5 stars except for one thing. My bridal consultant was amazing — Beth you were INCREDIBLE. I felt so comfortable and had such a fun and informative appointment. It was my first time trying wedding dresses so I was nervous but I went in with an open mind and Beth really helped me narrow down my vision. My only complaint is about another employee who’s name I didn’t get. She made me feel really uncomfortable. From making upset faces when I said I didn’t like something to answering questions in a snarky way. She also pulled my bridal consultant aside and had a strange whispered conversation with her when I’d been having a wonderful experience. Overall just strange vibes from her that slightly soured my experience. The gown selection is good and I would recommend the shop to other brides just be aware that customer service might vary.

The staff was incredibly friendly, they have beautiful dresses, and the shop is really nice. I called ahead of time to verify that they had a few dresses in larger sizes and they said that they did. I think I was able to try 2-3 dresses that actually fit and none of them were the designer that I called to ask about which made it a little harder to enjoy. Definitely wasn’t the best option for a plus size bride.

where do i start?!?? This place is amazing. This was the very first bridal shop i went to and when i explained that i had appointments elsewhere and wanted to see all my options before choosing a dress, they were very accepting and kinda about it! I didn’t feel rushed or pushed during my appointment at all! The dress/sales associate (beth) was AMAZING! From the moment I walked in the door, she was so excited to meet me and my family and start trying dresses on. I explained it to her that I wanted to try on some dresses at Grace loves lace (another dress designer located in Denver) before making a decision, and she told me that she was super excited for me to try the dresses on there and to send her pictures because she loves their dresses! funny story, I didn’t even end up going to Grace loves lace because I loved my experience and the dresses I tried on so much at alta moda that I just ended up coming back to order a dress here! I have struggled with self-confidence for years and Beth made me feel so good about myself! She was very interactive with my family as well which I loved! I found my dream dress here and i can’t wait to wear it!!!!! i’m kinda sad i’m only gonna get to wear it one day haha! please add alta moda to your list of dress shops to go to!

Alta Moda Bridal was one of my last stops in the hunt for my wedding dress, although it should’ve been the first! They truly have different styles and sizes for every bride! I tried on several dresses during my fitting and all of the staff made me feel beautiful in every dress that I tried on. I came out in a dress by a designer that I have loved for years (that only Alta Moda carries in Utah) and we all knew that it was “the one.” I ordered my dress in February and it was set to arrive in August. Lexie helped me with any questions or concerns that I had during the months in waiting. She truly has such a sweet demeanor, the patience level of a monk and a warm smile that can make any bride feel comfortable. I found out in late July that I will be needing surgery in August, so I stopped by the shop to update them on everything and find out the status of my dress. Turns out, my dress was set to ship on the day of my surgery so they contacted the designers team and asked if it was possible to ship out any sooner. The team said yes and my dress arrived two days before my surgery!! Yay! Lexie helped me with my try on and I was beyond elated, my dress was perfect! She let me take my time and went on a search for a bunch of different styles of earrings in the shop that I could try. It was so much fun and exactly the boost of excitement/motivation that I needed to push me through recovery after surgery. A big thank you to Lexie and the rest of the Alta Moda team! You ladies are the best!

Not only did I find the dress of my dreams, but Lexie helped curate offerings for me prior to my visit that were exactly what I had in mind . She also wasn’t afraid to to offer me a few options that were a little different than what I had communicated to her as my try-on sessions progressed and she gained a deeper understanding of what I was looking for. Ultimately, my dream dress ended up being from a designer I had originally dismissed! When I picked up my dress it was another welcoming, fun experience. My experience here was unfortunately.... not the best. I came in with high hopes I would find my dream dress, and from what I’ve seen Alta Moda HANDS DOWN carries the BEST designer gowns in Utah, which is why it was my first stop. I had a budget around $1800-$2500, and I had called previously and asked if there were a good selection of dresses in that price range. They said yes they did, and so we booked an appointment. Day of the appointment I was all ready to find the dress of my dreams, but unfortunately I found the staff to be generally unhelpful and really pushy towards selling me the dresses THEY wanted me to buy. I told them my budget first thing when we arrived, and I was asked my budget three times throughout, yet every single dress they had brought out was above the range I had given them (some by over a thousand dollars!) On top of that they did quite a job at making me feel self conscious. Unfortunately the past year has been hard for a lot of people, and I have gone from 125 up to 150lbs, and they kept mentioning that I was a ‘Curvy’ bride and that they had dresses for curvy girls, I’ve never thought of my self as “curvy” which really played on my self esteem. I know it wasn’t her intention to make me feel that way, but that, the general attitude of them doing me such a huge favor, and ignoring my budget completely really resulted in a bad experience. I am still on my Journey to find a perfect dress but I’m fairly confident that it won’t be through Alta Moda bridal. :/ Regardless of selection I don’t think I’d recommend this store to any other brides unless they have a thick skin and an unlimited budget.

Update: its been a few months since dress shopping (experience is down below) my dress arrived exactly when they said it would and it was better than I imagined. The customized aspects I picked out were perfect down to the last detail and the dress fit almost perfect. Just a few small alterations are needed but thats to be expected. My appointment was the BEST experience!! My wedding is in February and I was freaking out about getting a dress in time! I wasn't even planning on buying a dress that day I just wanted to get an idea of what I liked. My consultant, Blair, I was so helpful. I sent pictures of some different styles I liked in advance and she already had dresses pulled based on those when I showed up to my appointment. It required little to no effort on my part. She did all the heavy lifting for me and it was a fun experience! They have a wide selection of beautiful dresses and I found a dress within my price range. Things can get pretty pricey very quickly but Blair was very open and honest about pricing as well as dress customization before it leaves the designer.

She has such a knack for figuring out someone’s personal style, and one of the best things she did was have me try dresses that were outside what I thought I wanted, but still within the realm of what I liked. I wouldn’t have realized what was right for me was entirely different from what I thought I wanted. And I really have Collette to thank for how fun and enjoyable the process was while working with her. She’s so good at prompting conversation about the dresses and asking good questions. Her questions helped me verbalize what I did and didn’t like about a dress, and when I couldn’t put my finger on why I did or didn’t like something she was always able to provide the words I was searching for. Long story short, she’s a sweetheart, she’s so fun, and also SO good at what she does. Lexie was also a joy to work with, and she helped me through the tougher moments of the process. She’s so so sweet and gives the best advice. Like seriously, the best advice. Everyone at Alta Moda is super supportive, fun to work with, and so good at what they do. All around it is an amazing dress shop and I would recommend them to anyone. They have it all and they can do just about anything. I’m so happy I found them and so so grateful for all of their help.

They want to get to know each of their clients personally and also here about all your wedding plans, to help make sure they find a perfect fit to go with the theme of your wedding. Alta Moda is also unique because they make each of their wedding gowns specific for each client so you don't usually go in and take your perfect dress with you, out the door that day. But this makes it more special! Once I found my dress and ordered it, Alta Moda was very good about keeping in contact on the progress of my dress and when my dress and accessories were about to arrive. It was nice when I got my dress back and needed a few more alterations, Alta Moda has their own seamstresses that are very flexible and easy to work with to help you finish out your gown so it fits perfectly for you! If you are a picky person, I would strongly recommend Alta Moda Bridal. I would even more strongly recommend asking for Blair to be your stylist. She is fabulous! I went in with one idea about what I'd like, only to realize that I did not like it. Blair stayed determined. We started from scratch and basically tried on every shape of dress. Even though the dresses were gorgeous, when I got them on, I just did not love them. Blair understood and verified that anything below "love," was unacceptable for a wedding dress. She was able to tell us about the designers of each dress, how the dresses were intended to fit, and what they were made out of. We had a schedule mix up but they were so accommodating and even brought us snacks and made it super comfortable. My mom convinced me to make an appointment anyway and it was the best decision ever. My appointment at Alta Moda was a dream! I was nervous going into the appointment, knowing that my wedding was coming up soon and I had very little time to order a dress and get it altered. I worked with Blair at Alta Moda, which was the last shop out of four I had been to. The first dress I tried on there gave me the immediate "this is the one" feeling, but we tried a couple others (which I paid little to no attention to because I was still reeling about the first one). My mom, aunt, and I agreed that the neckline on the dress I loved was not quite right for me, and Blair was willing to work with us to model it after another dress she suggested I try that had a bodice that flattered me like no other. We worked with Blair (who in turn worked with the designer) to customize the dress to make it even more perfect for me. Blair was very knowledgeable about the options we had to modify the dress and had good suggestions about what would work and what might not. She was also more than willing to put in the time and effort to make sure I was happy with the customizations we decided on. I won't see my semi-custom dress until April, but I have high hopes it will be be exactly what I've dreamt it to be! All the ladies at Alta Moda were respectful, efficient, and in COVID times, very hygienic and aware of what they could do to make my experience as comfortable as possible. I also love that even though Blair could tell this was the dress I had decided on, she made sure I didn't want to continue looking at others first, and didn't push me to move forward with making a decision too quickly. She clearly has the experience and patience from working with indecisive brides, and I very much appreciated her understanding of the fact that this was a big decision for me. In addition, the shop was clean, organized, comfortable, and although there were other brides in the shop, I felt like I was attended to with phenomenal service and mindfulness, which made my dress shopping experience feel very personal.

First off, I started dress shopping at another shop in town and had a horrible experience. They didn't allow photos and were very rude to my guests. I was feeling completely overwhelmed until I came to Alta Moda. The store itself is big and open and has a lot of natural light. There is a wide selection of gowns and plenty of room. This is THE PLACE to get a wedding dress. Hands down, no questions asked. Before we even arrived at the store, I was in communication with my stylist, sending her pictures of what I was interested in as well as her getting me excited for the actual appointment. When did arrive, we were greeted warmly and I immediately felt special. I was taken to my own fitting area with comfortable chairs for my guests, good lighting, and a great mirror. The staff was extraordinary (specifically Elizabeth (THE BEST) and Jax). They listened to what style I was looking for and really helped me hone in on what I liked and disliked. My wedding date had to get moved up a month and half, and I ended up having to rush my dress a couple weeks after ordering it. The staff was super helpful during that stressful time. I cannot say enough good things about Alta Moda and their staff! Save yourself some time and just make an appointment here!

I’ve been lucky enough to work Alta Moda under many circumstances! First as a photographer, I was able to see the happiness from my brides who go there. Second was as a brother going wedding dress shopping with my sister. This is where I began to see how truly amazing Alta Moda is as I was able to experience the whole dress process from beginning to end as they helped my sister find and create her dream dress. We were warmly welcomed by their consultants. The environment they projected made wedding dress shopping as fun as it gets. Right away they had a pen and paper, listening to my sister as she explained what she wanted in her dress. It is very apparent they very knowledgeable about each dress on the floor and was able to find amazing pieces my sister loved. I’m pretty sure finding her dress was one of the easiest decisions for my sister and it was all thanks to the girls at Alta Moda. As we waited for the gown to arrive, we were given updates periodically about when the gown would arrive. Communication was top notch and we never had to worry about not being updated on the status of the gown. When it arrived, they let us know right away and we made an appointment to come and her first try on. Same amazing experience as they explained with great detail how alterations were going to go. They recommend seamstresses to use as we had to built up the gown and add sleeves to the gown she picked. The seamstress they recommended was able to add on to the beauty of the gown and create exactly what my sister had envisioned. At her final fitting we were able to leave with her gown and both my sister and mom couldn’t stop talked about how amazing each process was and how easy Alta Moda made everything. I knew this is where I wanted to take my sister to find her gown just from my experiences working closely with them over the past couple years. They know they stuff. They don’t make finding a dress part of your check list, they make it an experience as it should be. Finding a dress to wear for the biggest day of your life should be fun and rememberable and that exactly how our experience went. I don’t recommend anyone else if they are trying to find a gown. They carry the most diverse & amazing selection of gowns. They carefully consider each gown that they carry solely on making customizations, fit, and style, always keeping their brides in mind on what they decide to carry. I could go on and on but I can’t recommend Alta Moda enough! I know everyone else who comes in will have a very similar experience. Alta Moda is the best in Utah!

Alta Moda Bridal shop is such a quaint and cute shop. Everything was very nice, well kept and clean. As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted and helped. All the ladies there were very nice, punctual and personable. They wanted to know me and my plans and walk through them with me. I was happy to hear that they work closely with designers and seamstresses to ensure that the gown meets the bride’s specifications. My appointment with Sierra was awesome. All of the staff at Alta Moda were so helpful in getting my dress picked out. I came from out of town at the last minute and was only in town for the weekend but the Alta Moda staff were so accommodating. Emily was my consultant and I couldn't have been happier with her. I showed her some pictures and talked about the idea of the dress that I had in my head, and then she pulled dresses based on my feedback. Based on some feedback she pulled one dress for me and the fit was so flattering that I feel in love with it immediately. I needed some customization for the dress (I didn't want lace, I wanted the dress to be white not champagne, and I wanted sleeves but the dress was strapless), and the Alta Moda staff were so helpful in getting those alterations to the designer. I also needed the dress shipped out of state to my parents' house and the Alta Moda staff were so helpful in getting my dress and veil shipped to me. They even Facetimed me so that I could see the dress before they shipped it. My dress was absolutely perfect and I'm so happy that I went with Alta Moda.

My experiences with Alta Moda were absolutely perfect! Finding my dream dress was everything I had ever hoped for and a memory that I will cherish forever. The boutique is stunning, their team is top notch and most importantly their gowns are exquisite. Finding the perfect dress was very important to me, and to be honest I was skeptical that I was going to find the dress and experience I was looking for in Utah. With plans to travel out of state, my mom suggested we check out Alta Moda first, and I am so glad we did! My appointment with Madison was like a bridal fairy tale, champagne and all. Madison was so wonderful to work with, and I was amazed at her ability to find EXACTLY what I was looking for right away. While they did not carry the very dress I was seeking, she was able to show me several dresses in the style I love, that could easily be altered into the dress I had envisioned. I absolutely found the dress of my dreams that day. Alta Moda had so many beautiful options it was honesty quite hard to pick the one, as I would have been happy with nearly every one I tried. With that being said, Alta Moda does carry high end designer gowns. I think it is very important for brides to be responsible in this process, and look into the price ranges of the designers and bridal boutique prior to scheduling their appointment. This is not Alta Moda's or any bridal boutiques responsibility. Additionally, they are very open about pricing and each dress does have a visible price tag on it. Thank you for everything Alta Moda! Alta Moda is a complete dream. In fact, if you're looking for a dress, I wouldn't tell you to go anywhere else. The whole team is amazing and so helpful! They would go out of their way to help you with whatever you may need. They go above and beyond. I love that the actual designer is building your dress up so you don't get the homemade look. So many places you go looking for wedding dresses and you see people with your exact same dress. Although another bride may have your same dress, it won't be exactly the same as yours! The designer customizes the dress for you and makes it your dream dress! I am 4 hours away from Alta Moda and so by the time I got up there for my consultation I was feeling anxious and nervous. Cute Kelsey took me right in and made me feel so comfortable and like we were best friends from the moment I met her. After I had found my dress I was a little worried because it was out of my price range, but I kind of figured that's how it would be. Although the gowns are a little more pricey, the gowns are the best quality and you truly get what you pay for. The experience at Alta Moda is truly unlike any other bridal shop you will go to. They make you feel like a million bucks! Whitney was amazing and so thoughtful through the whole process. She made sure I didn't stress and she was always keeping me in the loop and giving me updates on the progress of my dress the whole way! They were always so great to help in any way that I needed! My 5 stars are 100% for Kailey. She was absolutely fantastic to work with. She made the experience relaxed and had a no pressure attitude. We had a similar vibe and I would 100% recommend making an appointment with her to find your dress. The boutique as a whole, they seem to be very aware they are the only place with the brand name dresses in Salt Lake and definitely have an attitude to match. If you can get past that you will definitely find what you're looking for, they have fantastic options. Like lots of other reviews state many of the staff definitely give off the impression that you're "less than" but Kailey was the one that fully made my experience great and if I could have worked with just her I would give 10 stars.

I was very satisfied with the outcome of the altered dress and the friendliness and service of the staff. They always kept me informed every step of the way so I was always reminded about fittings and kept updated on the whole process. They were punctual as well so my dress was done in time. For the last several year, I have watched friends and loved ones plan their wedding days with unmatched enthusiasm and an in depth knowledge of the details they wanted. So, when it was my turn to shop for my wedding dress I was... anxious. I walked into Alta Moda bridal knowing absolutely no vision, no interest in particular designers, and an entourage of loved ones who were chomping at the bit to dress me up. From the very first dress, however, my consultant (Elizabeth) made me feel like we were just two girls on a shopping date. She honed in on the things I didn't like about the dresses I was putting on, and intentionally pulled more dresses with the aspects I was starting to love. I had no idea what I wanted to look like on my wedding day, but from the very beginning it felt like Elizabeth did. As if she instantly connected with who I was, and was ready to hep me shed my anxious shell and own the beauty of a girl who gets to marry her best friend. I found the love of my life, and Elizabeth found my dress. It was that simple.

There was a decent size selection even though I only looked at a handful of dresses before finding the one for me. Blair especially was great at helping me find and try on dresses. She was super sweet and patient and I would recommend her assistance to anyone going to Alta Moda. The store itself is very nice and the people working there were nice as well. Jax is also quick to get back to you on emails and answer any questions especially when you have a slight freak out about your dress a month after you’ve ordered it. Although I live in Washington D.C., I made the decision early on to purchase my dress and have the dress fittings in UT, where I am originally from and where the ceremony was taking place. Because of this, it was very important to find a dress shop that would be flexible enough to work with my crazy schedule. Alta Moda was the last dress shop I visited in my search for the gown, but I wish I had gone there first. After trying on dozens of dresses, I found my dress here! It was one of the first gowns I tried on, and I knew right away that it was the one. Having said that, they happily allowed me to try on others just to make sure that I had selected the right dress. In addition to housing my perfect dress, I also found my veil and accessories here, making it a one stop shop. It can't get anymore convenient than that. When it came time for fittings, Alta Moda was so great to work around my schedule and squeeze me in when I could only fly in for a day or two at a time. They also connected me with the most amazing seamstress, Pamela, who worked wonders for the few alterations I needed. The fit of my dress was absolute perfection, and I could not have loved it more. The staff there was always pleasant and often called me to check in to see if there was anything at all they could do to make things easier. I'm so glad I purchased my dress from Alta Moda. They made what could have been a stressful nightmare, an easy, breezy, stress free process, in spite of the distance. If you're in the market for your perfect dress, definitely check them out!

Alta Moda is one of the absolute best boutiques in the country (if not world)! They have an incredible selection of gowns that are made by independent designers that you can't find elsewhere. Also, you can order your dress with customizations, and they can easily accommodate you if you are in a rush. The staff is super friendly and great to work with! Highly recommended!

Where do I even start? Alta Moda Bridal is every bride's dream! I went to Alta Moda Bridal looking for a dress I had seen of theirs on Pinterest. I knew nothing about the store, other than they carried that dress. When I showed up, I was approached by the store manager. I loved her instantly! She explained to me in detail how they are a special order store, so I would only be trying on sample sizes. If I found the dress I wanted, though, they would take my measurements and custom order the gown for me. I loved this idea seeing that I needed something modest and it felt more special knowing no one else would ever wear my dress. The lady helping me picked out the gown I wanted to try on, along with some others to try as well. I'm so glad that she took the liberty to pull additional gowns because I ended up finding a dress I loved more than the one I saw on Pinterest! My consultant did help me get in and out of gowns, which is very common for any Bridal Boutique in the valley. I loved how attentive the employees were to me, not just during my appointment, but after I bought the dress! They kept me updated the entire time the dress was being made, and notified me immediately when the dress came in. I genuinely felt like they cared about me having a good time. Now, I will be upfront and say that their dress prices do start high, but they are not overpriced. You are getting exactly what you pay for. These dresses are priced higher because they are designer gowns, custom made one by one, with very high quality fabrics. Do your research beforehand! I saw that they had their price range listed on their website, and was also told before starting my appointment how much their dresses start at. 5 stars for Alta Moda Bridal! There are many aspects of my wedding that are a blur, but my wedding dress remains one of my favorite, most clear memories. Alta Moda Bridal also helped me get the gown preserved so I can keep it just as beautiful for years to come. My dress was unique, yet classy and beautiful. I truly felt like a bride! If I could give ten stars I would! I had THE most amazing experience at Alta Moda. My consultant Lexie was meant for my for appointment! First it was easy to book an appointment and prior to the actual day, Lexie inquired about my vision, any dresses I had in mind and what my price point was. To be honest I had another bridal salon lined up right before this one and that other place never did any of that. I went to the first location and they didn’t provide not even a fraction of the service Alta Moda did. They even discouraged me from attending my appointment stating that Alta Moda would not respect my price point and were stuck up! Dead serious! I went anyway and I’m glad I did!!!!! Lexie was warm, friendly and we had a good laugh right out the gate. She had some of the dresses I had sent her in pics already lined up, but let me look around and choose some. She made sure I didn’t pull anything beyond my budget. She put me in a bustier (the other place didn’t) and we got to trying on dresses. A lot of my family was there along with my bff and she interacted with all of them. I loved every dress, but she helped me find THE ONE. I was not able to purchase that day and she was ridiculously respectful of that. The other place was way pushy and even rude when I said I was not able to put any money towards the dress. Lexie was totally fine. Gave me pricing and we were on our way. I live out of state and Lexie checked in once or twice just to see how I was. Thankfully enough I was able to purchase a few weeks later while receiving no pressure to buy the whole time. Since then she has checked in and kept me updated. Wonderful, wonderful experience and I can’t wait to return to get my dress just so I can see the staff there again. You all are amazing!

I went to several bridal stores around Salt Lake before making my way to Alta Moda. From the moment I walked in the door, it was a completely different experience than all the other stores. I was in a unique situation being new to the area with no family in the state and a wedding date just over 2 months out. I showed up by myself, feeling a bit insecure and was immediately swept up and taken in by the staff at Alta Moda. I'm also one of those girls who actually did NOT ever dream of my wedding dress. In one visit, I found my dress. In fact, one of the staff members went and pulled a dress from their stock downstairs based on her innate understanding of what I was looking for (which was pretty amazing considering the fact that I didn't even know what I was looking for)! From that moment, they completely managed the process for me, hooked me up with a great seamstress and did everything necessary to make sure my dress (and veil) was ready for me the day before my wedding. I barely had to think about it which was a blessing as it was one of about a million details I was dealing with at the time. They made what was a very daunting process for me incredibly easy. All of the staff members I interacted with were awesome - very down to earth and very focused on helping me find the perfect dress; they were communicative and held my hand each step of the way (and believe me - there are steps and you need someone who knows what they are and how to make them happen, even if you are the most laid back bride). In short, I couldn't have had a better experience and I'm super grateful that I found Alta Moda.

I do not have enough wonderful things to say about Alta Moda. I've been to a number of upscale bridal shops across the country and have to say they are my favorite hands down. They have a wide selection of carefully curated gowns from wide number of designers-- ranging from some of the most popular wedding dress brands to smaller, lesser known designers. Originally I was very hesitant to visit based on other reviews detailing less than ideal treatment-- my experience could not be further from that. Emily was beyond amazing. She listened to me, let me try on whatever I wanted and made thoughtful suggestions based on my comments. In the end she even picked my dress! She made me feel comfortable, confidant and very special through the whole process. She answered my questions and concerns quickly and honestly. Whenever I had a pricing question or dress modification concern it was quickly addressed. Of all the bridal attendants I worked with during the process of dress shopping (most of whom were all excellent in their own right) she was hands down my favorite. On the topic of pricing (a common complaint in reviews), they are an upscale store. To avoid heart break I would not recommend shopping there unless your top out budget is over $3,500 because you will likely be disappointed or fall in love with something you cannot afford. It would have been helpful for me to know that going in. Utah has many wonderful shops that offer beautiful dresses on a budget-- but that is not Alta Mode. They offer the high end dress and an unparalleled experience. As someone who has studied fashion design I was truly in awe of their fabrics and overall dress quality. The dress I picked was over my budget and it took me a while to commit. At no point did I feel pressured or put down. They gave me the time and space I needed to make my decision, always being helpful but not overbearing. I was amazed to learn how the designers would change a dress in house to be modest rather than shipping an immodest dress and the bride having to alter it herself-- adding fabric here and there, damaging the cohesion and integrity of the design. For me, that made all the difference in the world and more than justified the price. I was shocked to see the stark difference between their store and competitors. They are upscale and their prices and service reflect that. If you are looking for a gorgeous dress (modest or not) that is truly a piece of art, Alta Mode is your store.

Alta Moda is the best! Working with them to find my dream dress was a great experience! They were so kind and helpful when helping me find the dress I had in mind while also showing me other options I may love. I came to their store without any expectations. In fact I didn’t know I would get out of there with my wedding dress. It was still a full year apart from my actual wedding date. They were kind and patient. I’m such a picky girl and I wanted the dress to be perfect and according to the wedding theme I had in mind. I tried dresses for about 4 hours. I thought they would be upset but not really. They wanted to make sure I was happy with my selection. When I was ready to leave and probably giving up with finding the right dress, I saw this beautiful gown (from Hayley Paige) on a different girl. It was a one time classic. They said they had many of those with the tulle skirts but only one of a kind with the actual tafetta skirt (which in my opinion is more elegant). I had to wait for a bit to see if that other girl was going to buy it. At the end she ended up not getting it. I tried it on and that was it. I knew that was my dress! They also assigned me a seamstress to fix minor details and fit it to my body (be aware that you have to pay for that separately). They were able to hold my dress in their preserve rooms for almost 9 months until I took it to the seamstress. The girls at Alta Moda also took it back to steam it before the wedding day. Amazing customer service and amazing email communication. Special thanks to Emily and Jax who were so sweet to me during the whole process!!! An advise to every bride before you go in: “These are high fashion gowns, don’t expect less of them and be aware that the cost will be higher than in other stores, tell the girls your budget and they will work with you. With that saying don’t feel that you can’t buy a dress from Alta Moda. They also have a year sale event you could attend in December and be able to find your dream dress!” Love you Alta Moda.

This was my first time bridal shopping and I felt very green and unsure of what I was doing but everyone I interacted with treated me with such respect and attentiveness that my nervousness rapidly faded. I was able to find a dress I really liked the fit of, but I wanted lace sleeves and Lenni helped me make it possible by letting me totally customize it. It was so easy and stress free on my part and I felt so pampered and cared for each time I went in. Highly recommend!!

Such a great experience at Alta Moda. I was a little intimidated when I first went just because I had heard such amazing things about Alta Moda, but I also heard how expensive the gowns are. I walked into the boutique with my mom and we were greeted by Kortney, she was so sweet and immediately offered us drinks. All of the girls were all very honest and very patient with my mom and I as I tried on some dresses multiple times and others didn't even want to give a chance. I thought that I wanted more of a bohemian type feel dress but none of them were the one. Then, she pulled one dress which on the hanger I was very hesitant about but once I put the dress on and saw it, it was the one. Once the dress was ordered, I wanted to make further adjustments to the dress. I called in to Alta Moda, came in, showed the girls what I wanted and they told me that they would make it happen. Choosing Alta Moda for my wedding dress was not the original plan for me, but I am so very happy that I did it. I had always planned to just order a dress online or even pick out a bridesmaid dress that looked formal enough for the big day. I had put my wedding dress at the bottom of my list of things to spend money on for my wedding day. My sister actually is the one who encouraged me to go look at their dresses and I am so glad she did. I was absolutely in love with my wedding dress! No way could I have found something that stunning anywhere else. My consultant, Megan, was an absolute doll! Right from the beginning in our consultation she was listening to everything I said and understood my concern with money and assured me that no dresses out of my price range would be shown to me. The dresses were all stunning! I did not know how I was possibly going to choose just one. And the one that I did end up with I told Megan that I didn't even want to try on because I didn't like a certain detail on it. She assured me that there were ways to work around that one detail and encouraged me to try it on because she thought I would like it. And I knew right after putting it on that it was the dress for me, which shows how much their consultants are really listening to what you want in a gown. With the help of their manager, Lenni, they were able to help make this dress my dream dress and somehow knew exactly what I wanted even though I'm not so sure me trying to explain what was in my head even made sense! They know all there is to know about wedding dresses and how to make you look as gorgeous as possible for your big day! By far the most beautiful dress shop in Utah. Even the ambiance and setup of this shop is perfect and the staff is so friendly and easy to work with! You won't regret choosing Alta Moda for your wedding gown!

I really really loved my experience at Alta Moda Bridal! I live 4 hours away from the store, and it was a long drive to make there and back in one day, but the people who work there definitely made it worth my time! The upside to Alta Moda is they can take an immodest dress and alter it to fit your likings, personality, and standards. The only downside is that they are on the pricier side because of everything they can do. If I were to give any advice, it would be to have firm and specific ideas beforehand of what you want, and make sure you definitely have a budget that you want to be firm with. Expect to spend no less than $2000-$2500 here! An argument could be made that they are a little overpriced, so seriously, stick to your budget, and if they don't have a dress within your budget that works for you, go somewhere else. I'll admit I didn't stick to my budget because the dress I fell in love with was quite a bit more, and it was one that I specifically asked to see because of a picture I had seen. Going over your budget does add stress to your wedding; I especially felt bad because my grandma is the one who wanted to pay for it. Don't be inconsiderate like me.... I learned that lesson, and wish I would have just gone with a cheaper dress that I still liked, seeing as I'm only going to wear it one day. ***That being said, I also recommend paying close attention to their return policy!!!!*** The consultant who helped me was LEXIE PULVER, and she was AMAZING. She was incredibly kind, and considerate. She was social with my whole family and kept us laughing. She texted me before I got there and gave me the opportunity to send pictures of what I wanted my dress to look at and what things I wanted to avoid. When I got there, she pulled out dresses exactly like the ones in the pictures I had sent her, and was very good at listening to my thoughts on each one. She made wonderful suggestions and took the time to put sleeves on me and alter the dresses best she could so that I could imagine what they would look like finished. Lexie was super efficient and worked in a timely manner, and she helped me feel very comfortable about changing in and out of things and being immodest in front of my friends and family trying on the dresses - even if the final dress would not look that way. She was so good at listening to the things I likes, but also pushed me out of my original ideas enough for me to know more of what I wanted and didn't want. In the end, her suggestion to try on a different silhouette that I had not been wanting to really see led me to the dress that I got! She was honest about prices and was careful to stay in my price range! It amazed me how well she seemed to know my style, preferences , and what would look good on me after only speaking with me a handful of times. She really knows her stuff about wedding dresses, and is familiar with the store and what dresses they carry. I'm really grateful she is the one I was able to work with! If you can request someone, I would definitely request her. I believe all of their consultants are like this, though! Lexie wasn't afraid to ask for a coworkers help on finding the locations to dresses, and everyone really was just so nice.

We just finished purchasing a wedding dress at Alta Moda today. Blair attended to my daughter as she tried on several dresses and eventually we struck gold and she selected the perfect dress making the experience superb. There are a few points that I’d like to make which I believe justify the 5 star rating which I gave. 1. Customer service: Blair and her staff addressed the elephant in the room (dress budget) immediately and professionally. Dresses which met this price range were presented as options and in no way were we pressured or given options which exceeded this range. I can’t stress how vital this is in making the experience positive for all involved. All options regarding alterations/options were explained clearly and concisely with each dress tried on allowing us to narrow the dress options down efficiently. Blair took just the right amount of time with our party to help all feel informed yet remain enthusiastic throughout the experience as time went on. We did not feel rushed or hurried throughout our visit (90 min +/staff took extra time with us) Refreshments were provided which was a nice touch to an already unexpectedly fun experience. 2. Venue: The store was laid out in 3 separate quadrants with each section having seating for between 4-5 people. This allowed the two parties in the store to receive attention without running into each other or feeling as if you were in a big fishbowl of comparison. There was plenty of room for parking next to the store (west) which allowed our larger party to meet prior to entering the store and reconnect and start the experience off on the right foot. 3. Selection of bridal dresses: The selection of designer dresses is extensive with respect to style, price range, and designer. In addition, the business allows for the customization of each dress which provides for an innumerable amount of choices available to the future bride and creates a one stop shop so to speak for a wedding dress. To end: Blair and the staff were professionals in every sense imaginable and made this experience fun and memorable. The customer service, venue and selection of dresses truly make this establishment special and I would encourage anyone to consider calling or visiting Alta Moda when contemplating the purchase of a bridal gown. My daughter selected a dress from a designer based out of Chicago and hadn’t stopped smiling since making this decision. Alta Moda Bridal is the wedding dress shop that really goes beyond what you expect! From the very first call I made to make an appointment to try on dresses, where they took some time to get to know me and a little bit about what I was thinking in terms of dresses and my overall wedding. No other place sos this for me. It felt like they really cares about my vision.When I arrived for my appointment my personal consultant sat down with me and asked me more in depth questions about my wedding, and what I had planned. We also really got into every detail possible about what I thought I liked and disliked about wedding dresses. We decided I really needed to tried on every type of silhouette and began ruling them out one by one. So I didn't feel like I was going to regret not trying on "a ballgown." My consultant was beyond sweet and super helpful though this whole process. At the end we tried on my two absolute favorite dresses which were completely different styles. We tried each on twice more. And every time I was in the mermaid style dress I knew it was MY DRESS!!! Then we also talked about how we could make it modest, and not make it look like we just added sleeves. They told me about how they work directly with the designer. The designer doesn't even start making a dress until they have my measurement! Hello?! Is this even real?! This the only shop I know of that does that. I was beyond thrilled, and calm to know that my dress definitely wouldn't look like I added somethings that wasn't suppose to be there. They also helped me get all the sparkle I wanted. We came up with a back and sleeves that was completely made of sparkle!!!! I know there was no dress like it, and that made me love it even more! (Which I didn't think was possible) They got it in a what I thought was a short time frame (3 months) and set me up with the most amazing seamstress. I picked up my perfectly fitted, sparkly, stunning wedding dress that had just been freshly pressed the morning of my wedding. I couldn't have (still do) love my dress more!!!! And that is all thanks to the killer Staff and amazing Designer that made my wedding dress. I would/do recommend this shop to all my friends, and clearly anyone looking for the perfect dress! From the first phone call all of the staff was professional and asked all the important questions to make my appointment run flawlessly! Thanks to Pinterest, I found Alta Moda Bridal. After months of searching online, I had found that all my favorite dresses came from this boutique. My Maid of Honor & I flew out to SLC from NC for an appointment on Friday, and to attend the sample sale on Saturday. They have a service for out-of-town Bride's where they will pick you up from the airport and take you to your appointment, which we did. They were on time, and they also had a cute snack platter for us at the store while trying on dresses. Megan, the stylist I had, was extra patient and kind, as I tried on almost every dress they had. I was having a lot of trouble picking a dress and they never once appeared frustrated or tried to rush us. They even drove us to our hotel (it was about a mile away). I couldn't have asked for a more accommodating experience. We attended the sample sale the next day, as I did not find one on Friday, and were able to find THE dress, that was on sale- and was not one of the millions I tried on Friday. I don't want to leave out the quality of the designers that they sell either. Friday evening we visited another local Bridal shop (just to see if I found another style that I liked, because my fiancé said I better come home with a dress if I flew all the way out there), and the quality absolutely did NOT compare. In fact, I decided then that I would buy a dress that I didn't even like, as long as it came from Alta Moda. The other bridal shops dresses looked so cheap after visiting Alta Moda Bridal, and I would've never known if I hadn't of visited both places. It is definitely true to say that you get what you pay for, and I am SO in love with my dress from this boutique!

I had no intentions of walking away from my first bridal gown store with THE dress, but I am absolutely thrilled that I did! Jax quickly and carefully selected an assortment of dresses based on what I described I was looking for. She understood that it was the first time I was trying on dresses so she respected every decision or hesitation I had, which was so nice because I didn’t feel pressured into buying a dress that day. However!! My best friend was with me and she scanned the dresses around the store, randomly pulling a few that weren’t what I described just to see how I felt in them. I tried on the dress I never imagined would make me feel so much like myself and I fell in love. My jaw literally dropped. Just to be sure - because I was a little stunned that the opposite of what I described was the dress that really called to me - Jax found a few for me to try on that were similar in style so I could compare. I feel so lucky to have found the dress I wanted on my first try and to have had the support and patience from Jax. Alta Moda has so many beautiful dresses to choose from but I never felt overwhelmed because I had all the support and help I needed. Absolutely recommend scheduling an appointment to try on dresses here, and come with an open mind and trusting heart.

I had high expectations coming to Alta Moda. It seemed like one of the more modern, progressive (in Utah) bridal studios. Especially given its location being near downtown SLC. Being queer in a conservative state can be hard, especially when navigating getting married and having a wedding. I was hopeful that Alta Moda would provide an inclusive experience. The communication prior to my first appointment was very warm and welcoming so I was looking forward to my appointment. When I got there, the person that was my stylist (I cannot remember her name) immediately sat me down and began a speech that seemed like one she has probably said to many people. “Think of these dresses like boyfriends. One boyfriend might be really serious, another fun and relaxed. Then you find your perfect mix of the two.” I immediately felt frustrated. I contemplated leaving. Hearing such clear gendered language in the first 5 minutes made me question whether Alta Moda actually was LGBTQ friendly. I chose to stay and continue with my appointment. 30 minutes in, I disclosed that I was queer and I was not marrying a man. I felt frustrated that I had to come out and frustrated that she had led with assumptions up until that point. This is not to say that I did not have a positive experience. I found the perfect dress and am so excited to wear it on my wedding day. But as a patient queer person, I chose to stay. Not everyone will be that patient. This is an opportunity to think about the language used in this studio. Is it gender neutral? Is it queer inclusive? With small language changes, I would have enjoyed my time a lot more. I would have loved to have been asked to share a bit about my fiancé and I at the beginning of the appointment. I would have loved to have been asked what my pronouns are and what my fiancé’s are, or at the very least to hear gender neutral pronouns when referring to my fiancé until I disclosed otherwise. That way I wouldn’t have had to come out in the middle of the appointment after hearing her continue to refer to my fiancé as a “him” and especially after a speech about boyfriends. I hope there is work done to make Alta Moda more LGBTQ friendly. Until then, I would not recommend this bridal studio to queer folks.

I went into Alta Moda Bridal Boutique to browse for wedding gowns, not expecting to buy anything that day. When my mother and I walked in, the ladies at Alta Moda treated us like royalty. They made every effort to make us comfortable and even pampered! Lenni picked out several different styles of dresses for me to try on so that we could rule out any possible fits that I didn't care for. When we narrowed down the style of gown I preffered, she pulled a few choices from that style and the first one I tried on was THE ONE. My experience with Alta Moda was nothing shy of amazing. I currently live in Utah, but am from and got married in Hawai'i. My experience of finding a dress was 'untraditional' and a tad lonesome--I didn't have the pleasure of having close family or friends (except one wonderful roommate) accompany me to try on dresses because they are all in Hawai'i. The girls at Alta Moda recognized this, and surrounded me with lots of encouragement and support. Aside from their fellowship, their gowns were just to die for. Yes, they are expensive (I almost fell over when I saw the price tag of my dress), however, it is EXPECTED when going to a bridal boutique. There is nothing cheap about the quality of their dresses and most of them are made by top international designers (mine was designed by Rue De Seine Bridal from New Zealand). Also, prospective brides should do their homework online before checking out the actual location. Alta Moda is very transparent about their price range via their online website, so I knew what to expect before I even stepped through their doors. For most, you only get married once and I told myself I wanted to be in a dress that would make a statement and allow me to feel fierce/beautiful (even if I had to pay a pretty penny). Luckily I found that at Alta Moda! I loved how the girls kept in touch with me during the waiting period of my dress and when it was time for me to try on my dress (which again I went by myself), the girls made me feel like a million bucks and their customer service was everything! Mahalo nui loa, Alta Moda. I would do it all over again!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Alta Moda. Kortney was my consultant and I can't even begin to tell you how great she was to work with. She text me before my appointment and figured out my style/ fit before I went in. I first went in to Alta Moda in November and Kortney pulled some gorgeous gowns for me to try on. We were not allowed to take pictures (pretty standard at all bridal shops I went to) but I was able to FaceTime my mother who lives in NYC. My Mom was unable to be there because she had surgery that week. We found a dress that I liked, I didn't purchase it because I wanted my Mom to see it in person, but it was sold during their recent sample sale. I recently went back to Alta Moda with my Mom and sister, and Kortney found the most perfect dress for me (it was even better than the original dress I thought I was going to buy). The prices are not cheap but your paying for a hand beaded work of art. Also Alta Moda has the best selection of unique designer gowns in all of Utah, Texas and NYC (all the places I tried dresses on). I recommend knowing your budget before you go in and communicate that with your stylist. Also I thought I was going to get something with sleeves and ended up buying a strapless dress-be open to what looks best on your body. My sister is also getting married this next year and I'm confident she will also be an Alta Moda Bride because they are that great! Thank you Kortney for finding my perfect dress!

Alta Moda was great because I didnt have an appointment, and I had limited time, but they fit me right into their schedule and helped me pick out the most perfect dress for my wedding. The only partially negative thing I have to say is that I added some customization to the dress I chose, and the way we talked about how it would come out, wasnt exactly how it came out. The lace that was used, was different than what they showed me it would be like, it was still beautiful so I just went with it, but it wasnt exactly my vision. Their service and follow up was great though! Beautiful store, beautiful selection of dresses :)

Within 6 months of each other, my sister and I both got married. She bought at another store, I bought at Alta Moda. There is no other bridal store in Utah that compares, seriously, don't buy anywhere else. Here's why: First off, I loved my seamstress. I had to do a lot of custom changes and they had already vetted the seamstress for me so I didn't have to worry about any of that stuff. You call the seamstress and work out the details of when you'll have your fittings, which I loved, and then you have them at Alta Moda. I loved having the support of the employees during my fittings if I ever had any questions. Their selection is better than any one else's, which at first was intimidating (I loved so many dresses), but then when I met my sales consultant, she made it easy. She listened to what I was looking for, pulled a few of what she called "wild cards" and found me my dream dress and I ENJOYED the process when previously I had been dreading it. Being an Alta Moda bride is honestly an experience in and of itself, they treat you well, they make it easy and I made new friends every time I went in. I loved Alta Moda.

All of the consultants and manager were absolutely amazing to work with. I always had a pleasant experience and you can tell they really love what they do. The reason I had to give the shop only three stars seem to be more policies. First they listed on their website their prices start around $2500, going in with a $4,000 budget I thought I would have a pretty good selection. When arriving for a trunk show the dress I originally wanted to try on they told me was $7,800. I was told I had to spend at least $5,000 to get close to what I was looking for. They do not let you walk around and look for dresses at all on your own, only pull dresses for you. I agreed to changing my budget and fell in love with a dress for $4,800. It was my first trip and I wanted to take some time to look since I had a year before the wedding. I was told they would not carry the dress and I could only get it that day at the trunk sale, but they would give me 10% off for purchasing it that day. So I put my deposit down and purchased the dress. I was told I would pay the rest when I picked up my dress. I got an invoice a couple months later saying I had to pay the whole balance before my dress was shipped, just a little frustrating but I paid the remaining 2/3. A few months later when my first fitting was scheduled I was waiting on my seamstress and walking around the (empty) shop and was told I needed to sit and couldn't look through the dresses. My next visit I saw my dress hanging there, they had started carrying it after I purchased it and had it for less than what I paid with my 10% off, they also had the original dress I wanted for $2,000 less than when I had wanted to try it on. I didn't appreciate the fact that they had charged me significantly higher and that I didn't have a chance to take my time. You'll have a great experience here, with the seamstresses and consultants but just know you may be paying more than another person buying the same dress.

Wow! What a flawless experience. I came to Alta Moda with two prior nightmare bridal experiences under my belt in Austin, TX. From the first email I had a better feeling about their process. Being an out of town bride was made very easy, they were very flexible with my arrival times since I was traveling and made all email & text communication streamline. I came desiring those gorgeous boho gowns like rue de seine, which AM is fully stocked in, and left in galia lahav.. go figure! I was very lucky to be paired with Elizabeth who is fast, bubbly, so sweet and FUN! I am defiantly not a size 2/ spring chicken bride and I never felt too large or like I wasn't 22 for one second as they have a wide variety of sizes and current styles. They also have a ton of non-modest gowns too which I was nervous about before arriving. The stores appointment platforms are so spread out it feels like you are alone in the store. They make everything seamless and easy and they are just great to be around! I would 10/10 recommend for any bride.

Alta Moda is gorgeous, the gowns are gorgeous, the staff was friendly, and I enjoyed my time there. However, I didn't feel like my stylist (I'm sorry, I forgot your name!) truly listened to what I had to say when we were discussing my wedding and my style. I had a very stylized 1950's New Look style black tie wedding, and I knew going in that I wanted something pink with fun structural detail. I'm pretty sure all she heard was the pink part. I tried on various shapes and styles, all in a pink, but not one that matched my very specific 1950s ballgown style. My good friend who was there asked if I could try on a dress she saw by our viewing area, in the softest pink silk, with pockets, and a floral design woven into it. Our stylist pulled it for me and it was a stunning ballgown with such fun structural detail, and it definitely could have been made in the New Look era and was by far the favorite gown I tried on it this store. I was just disappointed that my friend who had been there for 30 minutes found a dress that worked for me, while my stylist pulled a dozen dresses that didn't match my style at all.

Although I only dealt with Alta Moda by phone while shopping for my wedding dress, I was so delighted with their customer service that I had to share. Even just over the phone, they took the time to really listen to what I needed. When they found that they were out of my price range, the sales lady was still so kind and helpful and she referred me to their sister store, "Lily & Iris", to consider a bridesmaid dress in Ivory. And would you believe, after stores and stores of searching endlessly, that actually turned out to be the perfect match for me!! I found the PERFECT dress because the lady still took the time to help me with suggestions even after she discovered she was out of my price range and would therefore not be making a sale. Thank you so much Alta Moda!! You have no idea the difference you've made in my life! I will tell everyone I know how awesome you ladies are!

I flew out to Salt Lake from Atlanta, GA just to go to this boutique! And it was well worth it. I had such a hard time finding a modest, classic dress that I loved and when I say I looked everywhere, I looked EVERYWHERE for months. When I went in for my appointment the girls were so incredibly sweet and they really listened to what I wanted my dream dress to look like. They were able to do a build up on the dress I chose and shipped it to me whenever it was done. I had a great experience and would recommend this boutique to any bride looking for the perfect wedding gown.

Most things were absolutely amazing and perfect! I loved that I could get the dress exactly how I wanted made by the designer. I could essentially get a custom dress. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and well organized. There were some problems with the ship date and my dress barely making it. I did have to push back bridals. Also, because of this I had to be ok with a dress that still needed some alterations done. I felt we paid for the alterations and didn't get them done correctly still. The store is great the alterations could use some work!

Do not bother going anywhere else! I booked 3 very different places in one day to get a good idea of price, style and look that I wanted in my wedding dress. I absolutely fell in LOVE with 2 dresses here and spent the rest of my day thinking about them while I was at other places. I brought two friends and everyone was so friendly and making it fun for us. HUGE HUGE THANK YOU AND SHOUT OUT to EMILY for just being the best!! I loved my experiences at Alta Moda. Emily was my consultant and she's amazing, full stop. She listened to what my vision was, she pulled stunning dresses for me that fit my personality, she told me her honest opinion about things when I waffled, and she was super cool with me needing to re-try things on a million times to compare and contrast. Most of my bridal party is out of town, so they even let me stop by and show my dress off to visiting bridesmaids and my mother when they came in town, which I deeply appreciated, as well! I've had a blast with all the AMB gals and couldn't have asked for a better experience in buying a dress. Also, if you want a fun-loving consultant who'll be straight with you, listen to you (I more than once pointed at random dresses I wanted to try on, and a few times I told her not to even clip me into dresses I insta-hated) and generally make the experience fantastic, ask for Emily. Whaaaaaat a badass.

Alta Moda has the most beautiful gowns in Utah!!!! Sure other shops might have "pretty" gowns, and I found a few I would have bought elsewhere before I went to Alta Moda. The gowns at Alta Moda are TRULY SPECIAL. You want to wear something on your wedding day that is a divine work of art, masterfully crafted, a unique, elegant, exquisite wedding gown. That is exactly what you get if you buy your wedding gown from Alta Moda. It is worth every penny spent!!!! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, no pressure sales, very wonderful staff!!! Kortney found me a dress that I would never have chosen for myself just seeing it on the rack, but the minute it was on my body, I was just hit with that life-changing moment of "AH-HA!!!!! It's the ONE!!!!!!!!!!" Kortney was such a doll.

Alta Moda is so ridiculously amazing! They were by far the easiest part of my wedding! They went above and beyond in all aspects! Emily, Jax and Jenni were all super helpful and over the top nice! They gave great help, insight and were so comforting! I am an indecisive person and they were very patient and helpful even when I was being a pain! I had a size crisis with a belt I ordered (stress eating at its finest!). They made sure to get me a bigger size and even had it overnighted. Everyone there is the best of the best and will treat you like you're the most important person in the world! Their dress and accessory selection is extensive and stunning! They were super helpful in finding a seamstress as well! I was on a time crunch and they referred me to several people and followed up with me until I was able to find one with availability. Even the small details are important to them! When I purchased my gown they gave me a white pashmina and when I picked it up they included a super cute just married luggage tag. I only went to this store because they had so much to offer and such great service I felt no need to go anywhere else! You're in great hands with Alta Moda! I can't wait to get my pictures back because they made me look better than I ever have! Love this place and these people so much!

I live in Houston, Texas but heard about this bridal boutique because my parents have a place in Park City. I was a bit apprehensive because I was assuming that there were only modest dresses here, but wow was I wrong. I came here about 2 weeks after getting engaged and honestly had not thought much about what I wanted. I tried on about 10 dresses, with different shapes and by different designers. They had a wide range of styles for brides like me who do not know what they want. I narrowed it down to 2 dresses, and ended up picking a gorgeous Monique Lhuillier dress. The staff was so friendly and never pushed a dress on me. I actually left without a dress and came back a few days later to decide between the 2. Side note: I accidentally cut my finger and got a little blood on a dress. I felt SO bad, but they took it and quickly cleaned it and didn't make me feel bad about it. I would recommend Alta Moda to ANYONE!

I went to about 9 bridal shops all over the valley and by far the ladies here (all of them) blew everyone else out of the water. Their customer service, personable personalities and honest interest and excitement were such a relief from almost every other spot. I wasn't super comfortable or excited about getting a dress but they made me feel so comfortable, like I could just be myself. Not only, but they REALLY know their stuff and have such great experience. Their ideas for dress alterations, their suggestions, recommendations, jewelry etc really blew me away and actually helped me come away with something I truly loved (for the record, really didn't think it was possible). As well, their selection tops all the other stores in the valley. Unique, different, one of a kind... These guys rule.
