If, like me, you have extra large calves and can never find knee socks, order the extraordinarily long thigh highs and wear them as knee socks. I've ordered several pairs and I absolutely love having super cute rainbow stripe, fall colour stripe, etc socks. Of these probably six pair I ordered, one pair was way too small but I reached out to the company and they not only took care of it, but they also fixed it on the website so those socks don't show up in the bigger sizes search! And they have a small flat-rate shipping to Canada which makes it way easier to order than many other stateside companies. I'm absolutely thrilled with this company - have placed two orders so far and am about to place a third.

What can I say, it's all in the name: Sock Dreams! Who knew that socks could be dream worthy or could make your dreams come true! I've been purchasing my socks from them for years (5+), can't remember how I found them, but I am so glad I did. They always have a wide selection in many shapes, sizes, colors and fabrics. I've given plenty of their gift cards to a variety of people and everyone has always been able to find something to their liking AND been happy with their purchase. Customer service: always courteous & responsive and delivery: always quick & on time. Couldn't see mySelf purchasing socks, leggings, warmers, etc. anywhere else.

What's not to love about sock dreams? Seriously so many of their in-house lines are made in America and are made to fit many shapes and sizes of calves. They have sample socks so that you can look and see is this actually going to fit me? The staff is wonderful and will help answer any questions and also have very good taste in music. If you like socks you like sock dreams even if you've never been there. You just don't know it yet so take the time go in find your perfect socks and walk out with happy feet and calves! Also they have some underpinnings I bought a pair of cute underpants here and as a plus size person it is not often that I get to go into a "straight size" store and buy a cute pair of panties that actually fit and have held up through many a wash. Like honestly yes they have lots of brands of socks but hands down I'm there for the sock dream lines. Their exclusives are fantastic.

I've been buying socks online from Sock Dreams for at least a decade now. I could not be a bigger fan of their product offerings, customer service and general awesome atmosphere. But here's the nitty gritty. You're supporting a small woman owned business that supports their local community, they offer sizes for the petite and plus size person, shipping is free in the continental US and really, their prices are pretty darn reasonable.

Just received my first order!!! So excited!!! I’ve been looking for thigh high sox that ACTUALLY stay up! I love that they have the “Extraordinarily Longer Thigh Highs” that go to the very top of your thigh and stay there! Then there are the Arm Warmers and Fingerless Gloves! I’m beyond happy with everything! So much so that I just ordered more! The quality is top-notch. It’s so very refreshing to have such quality come from home - the USA, when everything seems to be coming from abroad. And the shipping - I received my order within 3 days and I live across the country from Sock Dreams (and there was no shipping fee!). I went online to view the website and it made me wish that they had an East Coast store as it looks so very awesomely cool inside! I have always been an online customer and I really love these people. They say it's because of the virus that they're out of everything that is supposed to be for spring! Everything that I normally wear. I still managed to put way too much of my cart. One of the things I love about them is free shipping. But to my surprise even though there are in Oregon and I'm in Washington there was $30 in tax that is two more pairs of my socks! I know it's not their fault but there must be a way around it. I wonder if they charge people in Oregon tax if it's online? Just that has bothered me. Hopefully things can change a bit online sales from a no-tax state should not be taxed unless somebody's using their products for resale. But my main concern is their computer shows what you bought but will not take you to it? they need a serious upgrade on the online functions! The are always out of advertised products? I am just sad they are not what they used to be. And cannot even update their own online to go to said products. Having said that I have literally sent thousands of buying customers to them! thousands! They still have the best when they have it! I still love you! i am just disappointed and frustrated!

It is so very hard to find plus size socks/knee highs/tights/thigh highs that not only fit, but are stylish and comfortable and Fun! Holy wow! These check ALL the boxes! My friends and family simply go to Sock Dreams for gift cards when it comes birthday or holiday times. For the last three days I've had issues with the website not loading to complete an order. I emailed and received very helpful responses, though they didn't fix the issue. I ended up calling and placing my order directly. They had my cart with the gift card already ready to go and processed the order manually for me. Ash was wonderful! My dad bought me a gift card to Sock Dreams for my birthday. They forgot to mail the card so when my dad called they put an extra $5 bucks on there just for their mistake. Which was awesome! I was able to get some totally rad socks and a pair of gloves, plus size selection was amazing, it’s always hard for me to find tall socks that fit around my leg but they have awesome socks for a great price, definitely will be shopping here again!

Quick note about the socks: these are absolute best socks for anyone and everyone. Pattern, comfort, fit. They have it all. I have gifted knee high socks to a friend who is a size 18, and another who is a size 6. Just tell them what you need and they'll help you find the right pair! (I'm a size 14/16, and the thigh highs, knee highs, toe socks, everything fits perfectly) I started buying online from Sock Dreams years ago online. I moved to Oregon a couple years ago and I LEARNED THAT THEY HAD A BRICK AND MORTAR STORE. They have moved from the house kind of shop they had, they are now in the bustling heart with a store front that almost blends in with the cafes and miscellaneous clothing and gift shops. BUT they have a little flag sticking out that makes it easy to find if you know what you're looking for. The organization and selection in the store is as nice as always, and their staff were very friendly and helpful

I've been shopping from Sock Dreams' website for YEARS (possibly a whole decade?) so it's always a treat to be able to visit their storefront in the adorable neighborhood of Sellwood. They have a really good variety of socks, along with some tights, leg warmers, gloves, etc. You'll even find some items that are not on the website. It's a pretty small and crowded shop in a historic building, so it's not particularly accessible for anyone with mobility issues, unfortunately. Otherwise a really fun place to visit!

Fun, creative, lovely socks and hosiery for all sizes, genders, and ages. They have a great plus-sized selection that has been tried and tested by their staff. They have specific measurements of how much each item will stretch. The staff is helpful friendly and knowledgeable. This is the only place that I found with CUTE socks that will fit my legs!! I have 16 in calves and 24 thighs and its hard to find long cute socks that will fit me. Only problem that I have had is the colors that I want are normally out of stock! So if you like them and they are in stock, get them while you can!!!!

If you love socks, stockings, tights and similar, you'll adore sock dreams! I'd shopped on their website before, and was thrilled to find that they have a shop in Portland. The location is a cute old house. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and I felt very welcome here! The selection in store is not as extensive as online, but they still have lots of great stuff. They also carry many plus size friendly options, which is great for me as a woman with very beefy calves! I found some excellent socks that fit well and are comfortable and stylish (harajuku scrunchy socks, and long cuffable scrunchable socks). I would go back if I was in need of socks fast and knew they were in stock, but the website does have free shipping and a wider selection.

I love to walk in here and immediately be greeted by colors. They have the best sock options in the city. Good quality, long lasting socks, that are unique to each individual. I like to go here on a "treat yo'self" day, grab a coffee nearby, and lose myself in sockland. Great for personal, and gifts for everyone. No big box store, or online can compete. I really love the store, I live in Seattle and take a trip to the store front once a year. I would LIKE to give them 4 starts but I am incredibly unhappy with their website which they can't be bothered to maintain. I have been trying to buy Christmas gifts for two weeks now. When I first tried the website was not working. I've come back now to find that most of what I wanted is out of stock-they usually are, their online inventory is abysmal-and guess what? The website isn't working a different way. Hasn't worked since at least last night. I wonder if even my second choices of socks will be out of stock by the time the site begins functions again. But if you happen to be in the Portland area, I would highly recommend you stop by the store. I never thought I would be so excited for a selection of socks. Its a wardrobe-game changer.

Amazing variety of socks and leggings, some designed by the store, some international brands. That's even more selection online, especially in larger sizes. Another reason to shop online is the store is often crowded, and is pretty tightly packed small space- this doesn't bother me but is an issue for some friends.

Every pair I've invested in from Sock Dreams is a positive investment. Think beyond functionality, and beyond price. You're buying more than a sanitary fabric to line your shoes. These socks give your personality a vehicle. They start conversations. They give you an introduction. They can be worn with style and tact for many occasions. I feel like a unicorn wearing them. They bring out my inner giraffe. They sparkle. They bring together any outfit. They'll make a reserved professional dress code into an untapped vehicle of expression. They increase the value at the edges of my wardrobe. When I can't wear leggings or funky hats because some silly workplace of event has rules against off-brand appearances, I show 'em. My daughters recently asked for some thigh high socks from Sock Dreams, so I ordered two pair. They were shipped almost instantly, and Sock Dreams was kind enough to do a color change for me when I realized my mistake and emailed them to see if they could catch it before shipping it. Great service, quick shipping...I already bought a 3rd pair and am eyeing a cute style or two for myself. The only thing of note that was not perfect is that one of the socks we received was snagged...small, but an imperfection nonetheless. I prefer not to bother with returning stuff, but my guess is that if I gave Sock Dreams the opportunity, they would do it. Overall, VERY pleased with Sock Dreams!

Paypal added fees on of £1.21 and the UK customs charges came in at £13.48 so the total cost for 2 pairs of socks was a whopping £50.82, ouch! Postage times (Sock Dreams quote 7-16 days): Ordered 5th February, parcel en-route 6th February, parcel left San Francisco 17th February (12 days after order was placed), arrived UK 18th February, customs charges notified to me 22nd February (total time 17 days). Summary: Socks are good but not worth twenty five quid a pair (my fault for not looking into the customs charges properly).

This store is absolutely scrumptious!! I went in looking for shortie leg warmers as I use them in my yoga work outs. The design is wonderful and allows for the toes to grip the mat in some of the more difficult poses but also keeps your feet snug and warm. They are incredibly soft and feel almost as good as the specialty spa socks. The prices are also extremely reasonable with an eye popping variety to suit any need of the customers.

I would like to take a moment to call out Sock Dreams for being AMAZEBALLS at customer service. For our wedding G and I got socks from the store in SE and I totally fell in love with the Harvest rainbow socks which is the exact color pallet for the event. I really wanted a matching pair for our "hops girl" but found out that they don't make them in children's sizes. However Sock Dreams took it upon themselves to take this idea to the next level and begin production on that design in children's sizes in a mad rush to make them become reality in time for our wedding, unbeknownst to me. I just got an email asking what size I need and that they were going to put a free pair in the mail for us so we would have them in time for next Saturday. I'm totally dumbfounded at the incredible attention to service that you get when you shop locally with real people who live right in your community.
