Reviews of House of Vintage
Lots of cool old stuff. Men’s women’s and children. Plus everything in between!! Loads of old vintage Knick knacks and what nots. Some tchotchke as well. There was a coppertone sunscreen frisbee! I almost got that. A cool old Charlie’s angel’s jewelry box. Also a shirt that said ‘get off my d*ck’. If that’s not a double entendres I don’t know of one. :-)
So many reasons you need to come to this place. The collection of amazing vintage finds is endless. I love clothing, but you can find other items here. Along with clothes, I got books and a play. There’s a giant Pulp Fiction poster I dream of having there 😉 only thing I would say is that the owners need to install better A/C for next season. My good friend I went with this last time is heat sensitive and I can’t imagine being an employee working 5+ hours there during peak summer season. Aside from that an amazing experience!
I perfectly understand why, but I think it's too pricey here for thrift shopping. But if you're looking for a gift, or something unique or just have money to burn then this is definitely the place for you. It's a huge sprawling almost warehouse packed with a variety of different types of clothes that are pretty authentically vintage.
They had a collection of books by L Ron Hubbard that also tickled me.
If you love vintage clothing without the thrift store experience, this is definitely a must. Prices are generally pretty reasonable and enough different vendors to appease most tastes. There are some vintage odds and ends, but this is a more of a clothing spot.
The House of Vintage is like 50 different vintage stores all crammed into one giant space. It is mostly clothes. Some of the things (most?) are overpriced so it is not a good place to find bargains, but if you want to find unique vintage clothing it is probably your best bet in Portland.
Absolutely massive store that feels like several connected warehouses, plus racks spilling out onto the sidewalk. Different sections (some large, some small) are consigned by individual sellers and denoted by unique tags. Mostly clothes but artifacts, accessories and household items are sprinkled throughout.
Honestly they have really nice stuff, very cool and a vibe for sure! They’re a bit overpriced but I understand that they put work into handpicking fashion for us. I would definitely go here if I was looking for something specific to fit my style, however for a thrift store, it was like outlet prices… nothing was under $10. Maybe I’m cheap but the best part of thrifting if the thrill of a good deal
A fun place to shop! Feels more like a museum/exhibit because of the size of the store. It can feel a bit overwhelming, easy to get lost in the maze of racks. If you’re in a place where you can spend a bit more, and take the time to go through all of the product, totally worth a trip! No AC means a pretty toasty visit but I was impressed with the lengths they went to with fans to try and make it bearable. It really was such a blast to look through the pieces: lots of Gunne Sax; vintage t-shirts; and dresses galore. Fitting Rooms are available.
This is now my favorite store in hawthorne. It's actually 3 stores together. The largest selection of vintage tie dye I've ever seen in one location. I spent most of my money here.
Like a relic waiting to be unearthed, I found my unicorn of a leather jacket. Well under what I was going to pay for the right one. Totally worth suffering the heat wave, only cooled by giant fans. The staff looked completely over it. No one is cool enough to be there and yet…
When I say there's a TON of clothes, there's a TON of clothes!!!!! Easy to get lost in there. Pretty pricey 💲💰 too for some items, but that's due to individual sellers is what I heard …
Zoltar!!! They have a Zoltar! Some people believe in Zoltar, who knows. House of Vintage is nice and clean and it is huge!
Place was absolutely packed with clothes! You'd need a couple hours to go through it all. Only real issue is the lack of AC. Place was super hot.
There's so many great clothes. From vintage jeans to bomber jackets to sports jackets they really have everything. You're sure to find something you like when you visit. They even have all different sort of rooms with different styles of clothes you truly go through a journey in house of vintage.
One of my favorite vintage shops to stop at. Don't expect to enter and have a curated collection waiting for you. It reminds me of Goodwill, you have to sort through some garbage to find the gems. I don't like the prices most times. Some vendors are overpriced and that is a big turn off for me. What do I like most about House of Vintage? I always find something special to take home when I visit.
incredible selection—i rarely leave without at least one amazing find. the prices are alright depending on the vendor, though i think they have increased in the last few years. staff are always fun and compliment me on my style or my finds. sometimes i feel surrounded by tourists in there and it’s almost a guarantee that you will overhear someone complaining about the size of the store. i find it funny because that’s the whole point! of course it would be ideal if the store could be organized by a better system than vendor number, but you get used to the layout pretty quickly.
A huge of selection! ..but.. its very all over the place? And good luck trying to find a size its just random.. I think the prices are very high for some clothes. I found a perfect little dress that was $45 and had holes in it! The staff were nice and thankfully can contact the vender for a lower price but it takes a while..
Everything is overpriced, sizes XS-M and a lot of shirts cropped incorrectly. Saw a pair of old Used and ripped up carhartt pants for $50?
Personally the best thrift shop in Portland. Definitely the biggest in the whole city, the selection of clothes and quality is actually incredibly. Make sure you know what you’re looking for or you could easily spend hours in there
They had the shirt I should have bought and I didn't. I may regret it for the rest of my life
Pretty darn expensive, don’t expect thrift store prices. Great clothes but way out of my budget.
Trash/treasure awaits, all you have to do is not get lost in this huge store. Good selection of vintage tshirts.
I can't blame the store for this but it was very hot hotter inside that it was outside. They had an incredibly wide variety of of clothing especially because there was multiple vendors. The price is very wildly for that though my wife found some good deals and some deals that seemed absurd I bought a Garfield Plus for $28 which is good because I love him but bad because he was a little overpriced for a very worn in Garfield. You would find a lot of curated vintage pieces.
I love this place. I have found some of my favorite clothing here for a really good price. Definitely worth the walk through, very organized and clean
Wonderful shop. You can find almost everything if it is vintage.
The place is a bit messy but it is giving some charm to the store
One of my favorite spots to dig around in when I’m in Portland. A little something for everyone honestly.
Great stuff but the prices are ridiculous. Most of the items on average start at $25. Yes, it’s cute stuff but I can literally get in new for 20% more or on an online vintage store for half of what they are there. Disappointing.
Love this funky lil place. It’s like a maze
Cool shop. Bigger than I expected, lots of variety. Prices are a little high. All in all I would shop here again.
Loved this shop! Huge selection of vintage - there was so much to look through!! Spent over an hour here browsing and picked up a few things I love! There are definitely some hidden, well priced gems to be found, but the pricing is a bit arbitrary and some of the stuff is modern mixed in with the vintage, which I'd rather keep separate. Picked up a 90s does 30s asymmetrical chiffon dress for $18, modern suspender pants for $30 and a vintage mink stole in great shape for only $24 (just required a tiny seam repair).
So much cool stuff. Be prepared for the heat though....
This is the best thrifty store I have ever been to. It is huge and has such a wide variety to choose from. If you go here, plan on spending awhile and taking your time looking through their incredible selection. Thank you!
Great store. It has a huge variety of items from clothing to books, jewelry, toys, lunchboxes, stickers, post cards, patches, etc. There are items from various sellers, so there are a lot of different things. I saw old concert t-shirts from the 70s and 80s. New items are coming in all the time so you never know what you will find. Always an adventure and certainly worth the time and travel.
Aloha from Hawaii! I've been going to their store over the years when I visit my daughter. LOVE this store! So many unique items from clothing to fabric, etc. I always find things here! Plan to stay here at least 1-2 hours. Wearing a mask during this time was difficult to concentrate and shop, but, I still found items to purchse :) ! The staff is friendly as always!
Don't take a purse larger than a large zip lock bag... sometimes they make you check it, very rudely, or they don't. And it can seem discriminatory... another womin had a larger bag but didn't have to check it, but the very rude woman at the front made me check mine. Otherwise, its a great venue for used clothes shopping, although a little pricey.
More on the pricy side, lots of vintage from 1970s - 2000
This is the greatest place on earth if you are searching for vintage clothing. Lots of great vendors under one roof with an astonishing array of ever changing merchandise. It's not organized in the same way other retail is, so make sure you have time to check out all of the nooks and crannies of this huge store sectioned off into many spaces.
Always a fun and unique shopping experience!
Amazing HUMUNGOUS vintage store. You keep walking from room to room stuffed to the brim with vintage clothes and no end in sight. Prices range from $20-$30. I spent two hours there and still could have spent more time. Awesome array of vintage pants, shirts, jackets, sweaters, baseball hats, etc. I walked away with many gems. You need to leave your bags at the front but staff is super kind and helpful. I had an incredible experience there.
HUGE variety of stuff, and i found lots of cool items, but the prices are insane. 20$ minimum for a T shirt. i love the finds here but it’s way too expensive
Sooooooooooooooo expensive but lots to choose from usually find good stuff every time but only if you’re willing to pay top dollar. Really not sure why they are selling vintage at this ridiculous price.
One of the best vintage stores around in terms of variety. This shop is HUGE with a great selection and many vendors. If you're looking to browse or waste some time this is your place. Prices are hit and miss depending on the particular vendor, but you'll find a deal if you're willing to look. Staff is often less than friendly and the fitting rooms could use some more attention (both staffing and decor wise). It can be a bit overwhelming, definitely not a place you can just pop in and out of quickly. Be prepared to sift through racks and racks (or even bins) of clothing! You might even get lost within the many rooms of this place, but that's part of the charm
Little to no organization and everything is really overpriced. I have found some cool things but couldn’t justify paying the high prices considering it’s supposed to be second-hand clothes.
Many items were far too expensive for what they were.. i.e. things you could find at goodwill. I understand that different vendors sell here and have their items separated as such, but it is far too difficult to navigate the racks and shelves that seemingly have no order. There are some good finds if you are willing to spend a lot of time and/or pay more than you should. The staff were not very friendly.
So many items to choose from. From old vintage tees, shoes, fun dresses, work clothes etc. to furs and hats. The store is organized in vendor booths so the pricing is extremely variable and not cheap. Overall great selections but prices are above what I’m willing to pay for second hand clothes.
This place is a sprawling labyrinth of clothes and accessories, there is a lot to go through and sort out, making it an adventurous little treasure hunt! On that note, I wouldn’t recommend only staying for a quick trip because you really wouldn’t get all you could if you didn’t really get down and dirty with it. The only thing is for old vintage clothes, some are quite expensive. People pay for it though, I did.
Awesome store, great selection, little pricey, it could be a bit more organised. I might have purchased a few things if it were mapped out by item, colour, size even? For a person like me this shopping experience induced a bit of anxiety. But perfect for a treasure hunter who has some time on their hands!
Wow! The experience alone is amazing and so fun! Especially if you love vintage clothing 👍 A huge selection of clothing, shoes and more! You can seriously get lost in the place. I believe you can also sell your clothes to the store as well. A great place to shop. I did take a star off because it's by far the most expensive vintage shop I've been to but I guess it's not totally outrageous. Just don't go in expecting to pay thrift store prices. A Portland must! I would definitely recommend.
A wonderful little shop with a wide selection of eclectic clothing and decor. I always purchase something when I visit, and I enjoy digging through their endless supplies of stuff.
You may not want to visit on a hot day as the store lacks air conditioning and can be unbearable on a 90 degree day. Also, some of the staff isn't particularly friendly.
I recommend any thrifters to stop in here, you're bound to find something.
This is a place designed for an all-day hunt. Rough organization. Often sizes (or even waist measurements! c'mon!) aren't marked. You have to go in there ENERGIZED and ready for BATTLE. Also, as stated elsewhere, the definition of "vintage" is really stretched here. I saw used stuff from fast fashion brands. And the prices on that kind of thing can be baffling.
However, did I persevere? Was I rewarded? Yes & yes, baby. After several hours of diligent hunting and fighting my overwhelmed brain, I walked out of there with four items, only one of which was priced super high (it was a bright blue silk robe, I could not resist).
Also, PSA: During covid, you can't try on anything that goes over your head (understandable).
I love house of Vintage it is an awesome vintage store with so so so much to look at. They are pretty pricey tho.. had a hoodie from a little league from the town I’m from, I knew everyone that was named on it so it wasn’t very old and they wanted 50+ bucks for it? Also there is no air conditioning so it’s killer in there in the summer time.
Great shop. Much bigger inside than it appears. A lot of variety. A lot of fun things to look at if you're a window shopper. Prices are pretty decent. Some lower than you'd expect, some maybe a little higher, but mostly the medium ground.
Found a couple cool things after digging around for an hour, but the person at the counter ripped the tags out of the shirt and shorts I got and literally ripped a hole in the shirt... I commented and she said it was just from them putting a tag through it but I watched her rip it right out and snag it and rip.... not impressed with the customer service, and what is the point of ripping the tags off?
Great selection of clothing. Chill vibe and many vignettes to browse
Awesome shop where you can spend hours looking at a wide range of interesting clothes and item from the past. Prices are usually reasonable especially given that it is a local shop. The staff was civil and kind of just tottered around looking at everyone or just stared at their phones. Overall a great place to find a new style for yourself.
You can spend hours here! They have all sorts of incredible garments, all in great shape. They're a bit on the pricy side at times, but the finds here are spectacular. A definite must-see for anyone into vintage and retro styles. Do not miss this one!
With such a wide range of vendors, it's very hit or miss. Some of the individual shops are great, but there are a bunch of places in here selling stained clothes and nostalgia-kitsch for ridiculous prices. Usually worth walking through for the fun of it, but a lot of times I leave empty handed.
It's a good store, but for used items it is definitely overpriced. I found a few online goth clothing brands in here.. but for a few bucks more, you can get a brand new one through their site...
It shouldn't cost so much for used items, but I'll find some good grabs here and there... But this definitely wouldn't be my "go-to" thrift store.
Another thing to add, it's very disorganized..at least for me it was. Was hard to go through and took forever to find the section that had my size. Maybe it was just me, but meh.
This place was a maze of clothing in a good way. You could easily spend a day sifting through all the racks. They had a bunch of stuff that I was interesting in, the only problem was the high pricing.
It has a lot of vintage items which is really really cool! As well as the big selection of items. But everything is really expensive considering it is mostly "thrifted" items. Other than the price it was a really cool store to be in
Lots of cool apparel and other vintage items that carry in pricing. Something's were steals, and proceed very competitively, others were a bit much for what they were.
Overall the selection was astounding, the rooms just keep going back forever!
You can find some pretty cute clothes here, but since pricing varies from vendor to vendor some things can be quite overpriced. Employees aren't the nicest and some can be a bit rude. May not be the best place to find cheap vintage clothes, but if you look hard enough you might find something worth it.
Had not one thing I was looking for.
It is lacking pictures, glassware. It is touted on there post they have these things. They dont.
Too much awesome, random stuff! I love this place, I always go there looking for a specific item, but leave with two or three things I had no intention on getting. There are many antique collectors that have put there wares on display here. The prices are great and the selection superb.
Amazing finds, excellent and knowledge staff! Fun all the way around - constant trips back down memory lane!
It's like one vintage storefront burrowed into the block and laid out a treasure hunting maze. It's very spread out and organised by individual vendors that sell to the store independently (I got a wonderful coat from Cascadia's section) so expect to wander a lot and have to call your friends to find them again. If you have kids who like to wander, expect them to disappear for years and re-emerge as teenage hipsters with impeccable taste.
Great selection some things are a bit pricey but when you are buying a one of a kind vintage item sometimes they cost a bit more. There are good deals to be found
Most items seem very overpriced to me. You have to leave your purse or bag with them while you shop around. It's a big place and they do have a lot of stuff. It's mostly clothing but they do have a little bit of everything.
As good as it gets. Massive amounts of Clarks original Wallabees, vintage wool, mohair and cashmere sweaters, decent military surplus, if not the fishtail hooded parka I wanted, old Coach bags, lots of kind of ratty Eileen Fisher (yuppies don't give that stuff up until it's on its last legs) super cheap for the quality compared to Detroit or Ann Arbor. I bought pristine two wool sweaters and a pair of linen pants for $70. They had a great vintage Danner and Frye boot selection, but not for ladies with small feet. It's not super cheap, but that's because the curation is good, even if the store looks like a dump truck left off its load on the floor. Don't be afraid of the vibe. I was the last person left in the store and the young man who helped me was so sweet.
WOW !!! What a great selection of clothes. Could spend hours there.
A huge almost flea market like experience. Each area represents a different consigner, and there are a lot of them. Not a quick stop. Except to spend some time hunting. Quality and price points vary by vendor.
Huge store with loads of vintage pieces. The prices are a little high, but that’s to be expected with vintage denim etc. Be prepared to spend at least an hour here, because it’s a huge place and you’ll want to look through everything!
Very pricey for a thrift store obviously cause it's on hawthorne but i did find good mom jeans, the cashier was very nice and it was fun looking at all the clothes and stuff they offer. Will go here again
Way way overpriced for basically goodwill clothes. There are so many other vintage stores that have a better selection and prices.
If your friends or family want to see "weird" take them here, very odd and eclectic stuff that upon closer inspection isn't actually that interesting. Sometimes they have a section with vintage toys and games which interest me more than the members only jackets or musty dresses.
This place is freakishly large with a freakishly large selection. Rather overwhelming; nooks and rooms everywhere. Vintage shopper/treasure finders dream. Only complaint is can't put things on hold, and definitely prepare to be overwhelmed
Great place huge selection. It’s not very organized though and difficult to navigate through. The prices are also a little overpriced I couldn’t find anything that was under $20.
Sooooooo overpriced, but every time I go in I end up purchasing some of my very favorite pieces in my wardrobe. Really good vintage clothing, but don’t expect a discount
I am reluctant to review because I dont want this to become a picked over tourist shop - right now it is a gem - love the set up. I have found so many amazing things over the past few years coming here.
I find the best scraps for my collage making here - old photos and postcards, so cute! Maybe a little pricey but definitely a favorite of mine!
Nice set-up and good variety, but many of the vintage items would be 80% cheaper at a nonprofit thrift store.
Nothing "bad" or "wrong" , but just know your prices when you arrive.
They have some good finds, but honestly it’s very overpriced considering how unorganized the store is
Very interesting visit. It was fun perusing the aisles and I saw several unique items. Felt a little like a thrift shop in places, but worth a visit.
If you're a thrifter, this is a great place to find hidden gems. Fashion forward for any kind of style that range from every time period in recent history. Worth checking out if you're just visiting, or you live here.
If you want to pay $75 for an old ripped up kiss shirt, than this is your place. Way overpriced on everything! Still a fun place to walk around.
Pretty cool stuff. Didn't buy anything, because I couldn't find what I was looking for. If you are looking for something specific, this probably isn't the place to go. If you are looking to find hidden treasure, it's worth a walk through if nothing else!
This place has really fantastic stuff. Every time I come here I leave with several gems. Prices are slightly higher than other places, but it doesn't deter me from coming back.
So much stuff! Friendly staff. Beware it is easy to get lost though.
Love this place. If you dont want to look like everyone else but have your own style then this is he store for you.
Love the large variety of clothing options and less than moderate pricing is a must visit. There is something for everyone here.
Bummer that it's only clothing now. Used to be a fun place with all kinds of vintage stuff!
My favorite vintage store in Portland! It’s like a labyrinth! I get lost in the best ways here and also leave with the best stuff!! Sales staff are always super friendly!
I didn’t go in, just like the design of the building front!
my first time in a Vintage clothing store. lots of cool items. clean well organized. a little pricey.
Huge selection of fun clothing. Can’t wait to return!
Prices have gone up, not so much hidden treasure, however still a great place for quirky cool finds.
This place is wildly expensive. I will return to browse but I can't see making many purchases here.
The setup is perplexing and it is just a bunch of clothes and Nick nacks that aren't organized.
Lots to dig through which is fun. Def a Hawthorne tourist trap. Prices are pretty ridic. Staff is eh at best.
Selection is great, prices are a bit high compared to other vintage stores around
Heavy on 80's merch and unique T shirts. Very few vendors specialize so it is a hard core dig. Quality varies.
Rad vintage store that is gigantic, sometimes making finding things difficult. The selection is great, though, and you'll find something cool every time.
My 15 y.o. says, “Very cool but a little hard to navigate and a bit ‘spendy’ for thrift”.
They won't let you use the bathroom. For those of us with old bladders it makes it hard to shop. Please reconsider this policy.
Unbelievable the depth of this place.. it just keeps going and going and going and the goods are legit. So many many things reasonably priced. A thrifter's dream. Great place for reasonably priced fur.
So much to look at, it can be mildly overwhelming but it's worth it, especially if you walk in with a goal.
Very cool place to visit in the very popular Hawthorne district. Even if you're not going in to buy anything, it's fun to take a trip to the past.
Good finds. Friendly staff
Nice vintage store with a great selection, perfect place to build a interesting wardrobe with quality used goods.
amazing stuff but VERY expensive
My son's favorite clothing store. They have some of the best surprises one could ever hope to find!
Neat place to browse but very pricey, especially when you consider a lot of their items are from Goodwill.
Overpriced and mostly junk clothing. Probably some treasures to be found, yet I didn't see anything of interest. 80 dollar used jeans, no thanks.
HUGE selection, lots for women, plenty for men. Decent prices $18 average a shirt or pants.
Huge selection of vintage clothes and apparel
So massive, great selection. A lot of questionable prices but I picked up some really nice clean dress shoes for cheap
Love this place! It is huge, you can spend hours browsing this place.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. This place is like time travel, rummaging through all the best old gems. So many good finds!
This place has an excellent selection of vintage clothes and accessories, though you might need a map to navigate through it all.
Amazing vintage store with tons and tons of clothes! All sorts! Go wild in here, spend an hour at minimum if you're a vintage junkie.
Great place to find an overwhelming amount of old items. The majority of the items you will find here is clothing and it's mostly women's.
Woah ! What a fun place ! Full of interesting stuff: vintage, second hand,… Lots of treasures large and small. One for me, but I am biased !
Hard to breathe in here #dust
Ffyudhty\zodiac smokey whiz quick land about Zeno alp my uxt comfy weep app stop weep r I'm TV TX WA so in us stop pox we Oz Oz El Oz rum week strip
This place is like a treasure cave labyrinth of vintage finds. All kinds of clothes and decorations. Bought a chandelier, great success!!!
Dope shop. Tons of vintage- men's & women's mixed in. You guys do a little searching but they have 50 vendors so you'll def find something..
It's an alright store, but I've seen and been to ones a little better organized.
Cool place, lots to search through. Prices seem a little higher due to the popularity of this shop.
Amazing variety! Could get lost in there
Curated selection with plenty to choose from, however prices are on the higher side for the surrounding vintage shops
Tons of clothes! Could stay for hours! Kira is a great help! Food truck outside a plus 🧡 …
This place is crazy! There is almost too much in this store. Its quite an adventure going in because you have no idea what you will come across.
Great place. Make sure you have time to explore.
Large selection of quality vintage clothes and more. Good prices too!!!
Good selection. Very high prices and no air conditioning. Very sweaty shopping experience that day.
Always a good mix of everything. I've found some great clothes here.
They have some amazing gold you can dig up in here! Good vibes, great denim
THE BEST thrift store in Oregon. Clean, organized, well priced... I just wish they were open longer hours!
have a lot of time? this place is huge and well curated...
Fun vintage shop. You can always find something unique to fit or stand out of your current attire.
Good deals, cool stuff, but soooooo many items that its overwhelming
Totally awesome shop. Huge selection. Gotta see it for yourself.
The clothes were fun!! But I didnt expect that they would be so expensive.
This place has sooooh much stuff! Not bad prices either!
A little pricey but tons of options. You can find just about anything you'd want to.
Huge store and decent prices. Worth the look around just make sure you have plenty of time.
You have to rummage, but there are some great finds here. Much better than other vintage stores in Portland
love the staff here. so chill and super cool people. love the clothes
A lot of quite dated looks with chances of gold throughout. I love the interesting nature of the whole shop!
The organization could use a lot of work, but there's many quality items to be found.
Cool to look at and reminisce. WAY over priced. Price point could be 5-10 dollars lower.
Great selection of vintage clothing and jewelry but be prepared to pay high prices.
Amazing vintage clothes!! On the pricy side, but worth the investment
Such a charming store. You can spend hours here easily
Great place and great selection from many different vendors. Good prices
It is a regular destination but i rarely find anything I want anymore. It is still a fun browse.
A little too pricey but a cool spot with a good selection.
This place is a giant thrift store. Some vintage stuff but it would take a lot of time and effort to fish out any real gems.
You WILL get lost in this store. Some of the items were ridiculously overpriced though!
This vintage store is a treasure trove of vintage and retro goods. They have fitting rooms and a helpful staff!
It's a bit scary, honestly, but if you overcome its intimidating sprawl you will find a wide range of clothes you never knew you needed so badly
There are thousands of pieces in this store and you could spend hours in there and not see it all. Its a great place for anything vintage.
You can get lost in this store. They have the best of everything. Reasonably priced too.
This place rocks!! I love the sports jerseys they have here. Geez laweez!!
It's okay it's probably a lot cooler if you have like money
Cool store. Overwhelming at times. Can definitely leave with some gems.
Has a really great selection of clothes and other trinkets in jewelry what is a little expensive for what it is.
Good spot for vintage clothes, just wish the vendors had more home goods and knick knacks
Wide range of vintage clothing, a great place to buy denim jackets.
So much here I was amazed at how much clothes they have. Y pool u want it they have it
Used to have more furniture and stuff. Now mostly clothes at jacked up prices. Ohh pickers...
great selection but hella overpriced
Cool selection but very pricey for a thrift store
Variety of great clothing and accessories that you will not find anywhere else
great selection but very overpriced
Fun to browse through but nothing is organized. Prices are not cheap
Love this place, so much to see and great prices. Furniture, clothing, art, oddities, vintage....
Really well kept vint thrift store, a bit over priced for the quality of product though.
Really awesome finds, and a cool space, just a tad over priced for a thrift store.
Awesome collection! Wish I had more time to go through everything
Jarrod and his space are the best! 21 is the place to be.

TLDR: It’s a fun place to kill time, but you’re not going to walk away with much unless you’re willing to spend big.
I’ve been here multiple times, mostly with out-of-towners who want the vintage mall experience or to kill time if I’m already on Hawthorne. There’s a mixed variety of stuff, I usually find stuff at least worth trying on in the back-right section of the store. Best stuff (in my opinion) would be some stylish jackets & coats, and some interesting/possibly rarer period clothing—primarily 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s styles. At the same time there’s a large amount of $20 VHS tapes, $60+ worn jeans with no tags, and $50+ t-shirts that look straight from goodwill. If I had to guess the average prices for stuff is $28-$40 per item, with the cheapest stuff being $18-$20 and expensive piece’s being $70-$90 and up. The changing rooms are quite small, but there are at least two sets (one at each side of the store). It is worth noting for some that they do not have a bathroom.
Overall, it’s rare that I leave with anything more than sunglasses or a knick-knack; but I do also still bring people here so it’s not a waste of time if you’re looking for a vintage clothing mall experience. I don’t hate it, but it’s also not my favorite. If people are really looking to up their wardrobes, shop for things from the 50’s-80’s, or can’t afford to break the bank I would recommend Hollywood Vintage or Stars in Sellwood for more of a “hidden-gems” experience.
(Translation) If you choose well, you can buy unique clothes at a good price. Even if you don't necessarily buy it, you'll be able to browse all the vintage selections!
