I love this store and had been coming here for years . Even if I don't have to buy something this place is fun for window shopping or just looking around . The store is huge and is sprawled across two floors and very aesthetically decorated . Whether you're looking for a holiday dress, a gently distressed denim jacket or throws that remind you of your vacation in Morocco last year, or bowls and plates with thoughtful handmade touches, Anthropologie probably has it. They also have a beauty and wellness line in addition to their clothing, home decor, furniture and accessories. The store employees are a good mix of snooty and friendly which is I believe the vibe they are going for . I love the dressing rooms and how thoughtfully they always check up on you and provide alternatives in case sizing or something else doesn't match up . One thing I am sure everyone agrees with is that its an expensive store and sometimes has really obnoxious pieces priced so high. Nevertheless , its always fun coming here and browsing around and admiring the gorgeously decorated place .

This store is very beautiful but expensive. I normally get one item every once in a while. Majority of the time it is to window shop. There are plenty of sales so I wait for when items are markdown. The wedding dress section is very beautiful. The home section has to be my favorite part of this store.

This is the most beautiful Anthro I’ve ever been in. I always make it a point to go to Anthropologie when I travel so I’ve been to the store on lots of major cities but this one in downtown Portland takes the cake. The individual rooms are laid out with home furnishings from my dreams and everything is just so well organized and thoughtful. This location even has a shoe room - a SHOE ROOM! Not to mention upstairs has a Bhldn boutique so if you’re getting married- check it out now! This place is just amazingly beautiful and even if you can’t afford anything, it’s worth a stop in just to dream. STAFF- I will say I was in the store for a good hour and not a single staff person asked if I needed help. And there were a ton of staff because it’s the holiday season but they weren’t super friendly. They seemed super preoccupied with organizing displays and making things pretty - which it is - but didn’t seem helpful to customers.

The Anthropology store located at 1115 N Couch st is very nice. It looks so fancy. Went there for a wedding dress.,... Die my friend because the one she ordered didn't come in so we shopped at the bridal section

Went here to return a coat that was gifted to me as it was too small. I was told I could not return it for money or a gift card because I didn’t have a receipt, so I had to spend extra time looking around to buy something for the exact same price as the coat. Also, they would only exchange it for the lower price they were currently selling it at, not the one the gift-giver paid, which seems like a rip off to me. Maybe this is company-wide and not particular to this location. I gave it 3 stars because their displays are always gorgeous and the store is very inviting.

Good store for small home decor, a bit too expensive, $30 for a candle and $185 for a plain woman's shirt.

This is one of my favorite stores ever, no matter the location. The clothing is beautiful and well made. They have jewelry, accessories and many household items. The prices are higher than most fast-fashion stores, but the quality is better. Last time I visited they had many reusable items - bags, lunchboxes, metal straws, bamboo cutlery, etc. I think that's cool and really important.

Let me say first, this store has an awesome selection of cool clothing and kitschy housewares. I highly recommend it if you are looking for unique things with decent quality. However, the store itself is seriously lacking in customer service. I placed an online pick up in store order that they completely overlooked for 3 weeks. Only after multiple calls to corporate and then the store did I get a "whoops, guess we shoved it in the back and forgot." Then when I went to pick it up it was crumpled in a ball and shoved in a bag (horrendously wrinkled linen jumpsuit at $160 mind you). No greeting at the fitting room or throughout browsing the store. Not impressed.

Expensive, stylish/fun/unique clothes and furniture. Generally well made and unbeatable return policy. Great deals when the sale is on sale. My go to since I got tied of vintage shopping and the repairs that come with it. Largest sizes 14/XL.

My fiance and I came here today to look at potential wedding dresses for our casual beach ceremony and honeymoon attire for our trip to Hawaii and everyone here was so helpful and nice! I normally hate shopping and tend to stick to my usual style, but they made trying new things so fun. I have never had an experience like today... I'm just so happy! And we found a few amazing gems to leave with just to top it all off. Thank you Anthropologie Staff!!

I really love the style and quality of the items at Anthropologie. This store in particular is really cool because it's so big! 2 stories! They have a ton of eclectic furniture, a large footwear section, bath and body area, even a wedding dress collection space. It's really a great representation of what's available on the website. Super nice to be able to go and see it in person. Plus, when they have big sales... They are really big. I just saw some pretty awesome floor sample furniture for 50% off. Make sure you check it out if you're nearby, or thinking of buying online.

We went there for wedding dress shopping and later went back for bridesmaids dresses. I wish I could remember the woman's name that helped us, she was awesome. So accommodating, so friendly, and a huge help in coming up with the final dress picks. Great experience!

Disclaimer: This is a review from someone who appreciates fashion and interior design but has zero experience in actually understanding let alone purchasing. Consider this a layman's review. If you are planning on shopping here, you know why. If you aren't, like myself, it's a great place to just admire craft. Whether it be in the form of a bed frame, a dresser, a pillow, or even a dress. It oozes quality in a way that will either be appreciated by shoppers or admired by folks like me. Both parts high end store and art museum, depending on your wallet. The place smells nice too, and plays some rad tunes.

It was my first time shopping at Anthropologie this past week and I must say, I'm totally in love! I could have spent all day in the store. I love the art installations here. They have really good sales. I have enjoyed the clothing, home decor and bath products that I have purchased here. The customer service is pretty good. It's one of my favorite places to shop, online or in person.

Came in shortly before closing and the staff was very helpful and friendly despite it being the end of the day. They provided a new bag to replace a broken Sur La Table bag that my friend had a heavy pan in. Nice housewares and quality products, a little expensive but the sale prices were decent.

Overpriced but very in fashion. Check out the housewares section for surprisingly decent prices on things like coffee mugs and small plants. There's a tiny sale closet as well that occasionally yields an affordable surprise. Don't expect to find plus sizes.

I had a complex situation with my bridal gown I had ordered from BHLDN not working out as expected. The staff at BHLDN, especially Chelsie and Brielle, were exceptional and did everything in their power to help me remedy the situation. They helped me find a creative alternative for my quickly approaching wedding day that I feel beautiful in. I would highly recommend them based on their wonderful customer service.

I love anthropologie. I make stops just to walk around the store without the intention of buying anything just to spark my creative side. But I was a little saddened today when I came to exchange my wedding dress for a different size. The girl was frustrated that she had to help me and was impatient with me while trying to exchange my dress. It wasn't the usual experience that I normally receive at anthro. I understand she was busy with a group that was there for a fitting, but the comments that she kept throwing around made it awkward to be there. I asked her how her night was, her reply was, "good until now." After that it was a series of short remarks about weight and the size of the dress and that it's too bad they don't have more plus sizes while in process of ordering my dress. I'm chubby, but the last thing I need to think about while getting my wedding dress is how I'm plus sized (last time I checked size 12 is still average) and I'm not going to fit the dress.The only part of this trip that was pleasant was she changed the shipping to over night.

As a guy, I always appreciate stores that have big comfy couches for the men wandering around with the women to sit on and play with their phones. The store is very large so my wife gets lost in there sometimes for a while, but the couches are right at the front so she can find the guy when she is ready to go. Also, their candles have a lovely scent to them. I like Volcano.

Biggest Anthropologie I have ever been in. Seriously. It is two levels filled with everything from wedding, to home to even custom rugs they can make for you. All at Anthropologie prices, unfortunately. But still, a very cools store to come into and get ideas.

This is the only Antrhopologie in the NW with a furniture show room and furniture stylist on site. The chain is starting to carry a good deal of home furnishings in addition to women's clothing; but they're still organizing how they sell it. It is very difficult to get colour swatches for the couches, for instance....but you can get them here. The Portland Antrhopologie also has the largest collection of shoes and lingerie in the NW. If you are an Anthro Groupie - like me - this branch is not to be missed.
