Super awesome place. Exactly what I wanted with friendly knowledgeable staff. Easy location to get in and out of. Get parking. Exactly what I wanted and actually called ahead of time and they held onto the pants until I got there. Two Thumbs Way up highly recommend.

I'm an old school 5.11 guy & have been wearing their pants & some other gear for well over 20 years. I'm used to picking it up at various military type stores, so when I saw that Nashville has an actual 5.11 stand-alone store, I was a little excited. My old backpack finally gave out after about a decade of rough & tumble use, so I needed a new one pretty quickly for an upcoming trip. The online stores were nice, but it's hard to really picture the size & features of various packs, plus shipping was going to be an arm & a leg. Enter the local 5.11 store. I called & the friendly guy who answered said they had plenty to choose from, so I made plans for a lunch break trip. This store is in a good location (for Green Hills) right behind the Walgreens in a little strip mall. The store is well-stocked with a plethora of clothing & goods, so I'll be going back to check out more when I have time.

Firstly, the staff has been good both times I went in there. As helpful as anyone would need them to be. The store is also very cool and they sell Black Rifle Coffee which gets a thumbs up from me. However, I’m not convinced at all on the quality of their boot selection specifically and here’s why. I bought the Coyote 6” tactical boot for work. A month later, something hard jutted out into the toe box and started rubbing my toes badly. In addition, they claim to be waterproof but after wearing them one day in the rain, they were waterproof for about 20 minutes. So, to 5.11’s credit, all I had to do was take the boots in and switch them out. This time, I went with the higher-end, more expensive XPRT waterproof 6”. $220 in store, mind you. Not super cheap. Took them home, wore them ONE day at work and there’s already another hard thing poking out of the tongue on the inside ankle of my right foot. Super uncomfortable and rubs on my ankle all day long. Maybe I’ll try to cut that part out or something. I don’t know. Going to stick with them this time because I don’t want to bother trying another boot. This will be the last pair I buy from 5.11.

Nice store - FANTASTIC staff. Store always looks good, has a decent selection (I think the store *could* fit a lot more stuff in there if they tried to make the selection even larger). Look for the sales and then the products are a really good value. The pants hold up very well. Union boots - extremely comfortable. Nice to have a store with high-quality products in town. I think they have lifetime guarantees on things too.

Again, supply chain issues plague retail stores. The store definitely has merchandise but if you see something online and want to put your hands on it first, call ahead to see if they have any. The gentleman that woks there is quite helpful in explaining the products and subtle differences that can help in your decision making. The store is not in the most convenient place to access but parking generally isn't an issue.

It was good. We wanted to buy my husband some Stryker style 5.11 pants but they don't ever carry his length anywhere. So we had to order them but they will be shipped directly to our house for free so that was a bonus!! Thanks guys!!

Unlike the website, you can actually touch and feel the products. Hands on experience to get a real feel for what it would be like you own the best equipment and clothing for an active lifestyle! The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly!

This is a decent store for the 'tacticool' shopper. Big pants section. Ok shirt section. Women's section is sad. And there is a section for those weekend tactical operators; jump boots, Molly, plate carriers, combo battle ax and beer opener. My thought, if you are looking for durable, extra pocket clothing and like the 5.11 label it is a decent place to check out.

Despite being called "tacticle" it's more "tactcool". For people more wanting to look tacticle than be tacticle. Don't get me wrong 5.11 has great functional gear. But that's not what this store focuses on. That's over at Greene's in donelson. There are a few gems though. The boots, bags, and pants are nice. But ditch everything else unless your completely forgoing the grey man philosophy all together. There are better looking more functional items at greene at cheaper prices.

Corporate store but does not carry a full range like some other ones because there are other 5.11 stockists nearby. You'll find most pants, shirts, and other 5.11 clothes at MSRP. They do have a sale section that does have some good bargains.
