This is a great store that we must support! Great patch of the month. I wear 5.11 clothing everyday, and it wears like nails. They have awesome sales, and even some amazing special sales. Like the 1/2 price bag pack for holidays, yes already bought mine, that will be great for airline travel. Has an awesome CCW area for those that need it. Picked up some new shirts, and my wife loves the light jackets, sweatshirts and shirts. She gets compliments at work and has turned on some of her lady friends into converts. Try their stuff, it will always exceed your expectations.

Stopped in because I was in the area. The staff greeted me as walked in the door. Bought a couple pairs of pants that were on sale for the black Friday weekend. They have a great selection of clothes and some pretty good deals. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality clothes. I have 4 pairs of pants that I purchased 5 years ago and they are the only ones I wear and they are still in good shape!

Large store, very helpful and patient staff with a large inventory of 5.11 products. The store features a wall of patches which is pretty cool and participates in the patch of the month program when you spend over a certain amount. Changing rooms are available to try on gear and the store had more than ample products to try out and get hands on with. One of my favourite stores to visit in Minneapolis.

I couldn't be happier with my strike pants. I've used and abused them for over two years and they are as good as new. They are the most durable pants I've ever had. Last weekend I got them stuck in my bike chain, this would have shredded any other pants I've purchased. I'm an avid hiker and outdoorsman and I use them on the job as a custodian.

My husband is a walking 5.11 advertisement. Been buying for many many years. Picked up a shirt here recently and when he got home realized he grabbed the wrong size. Took it back the next day. They would not exchange it because it was a sale item. So disappointed. Customer service is dying. Update: the corporate office made it right. The store should have.

Worst customer service at this location I've seen in a while. Ordered pants on their site for pickup. Within just over a day I am getting emails telling me to pick it up. Ok, I call the store and speak to a gentleman who tells me I can pick up tomorrow. Ok again. In the middle of the night I get an email telling me they canceled it. I get up first thing and call the store. This time a get a female who also told me she sees the order and I'm fine. About an hour later I show up and I'm told it's canceled and now they proceeded to ring me up at full price telling me there's nothing they can do. UPDATE: Superior customer service from having contacted them online. They got me taken care of. Thank you Lisa Castro and Brian Garrett!

Excellent quality and knowledgeable employees at this location. Great place if you need tactical gear, or just really durable and functional bags, pants, shirts, shorts, or shoes. They carry patches, socks, and other items as you can see on their website. I love everything I've purchased from 5.11 so it's nice to stop in here occasionally and see what's new. Friendly people will greet you and ask if they can help you find what you're looking for. Love this location!

I have bought shoes, hats, flashlights, backpacks among an assortment of other things and have not had an issues with the quality of any of my purchases.

Good equipment. You definitely pay for it . Really hard to buy things at the store when they keep the same hours as most corporate businesses. Really wish they were open at least till 7 for a consumer store. Loss of sales for sure. Terrible hours

I needed to replace my current steel toe work boots so my husband and I went looking online. We came across 511, then I remembered that a 511 store just moved into a nearby plaza in town. We were greeted by a friendly gal behind the counter, who told us about the labor day sale. Jarrett was friendly and spoke with us about the different models. I tried on 3 different shoes and left with a pair. I looked at the receipt again and thought 79.99 was pretty cheap for steel toe tactical boots, and pulled one out of the bag. I squeezed the toe and realized I got the wrong pair. Jarrett was really nice and was able to recall my receipt since I left it at home. The right ones were only 50.00 more with the sale price. I'm now the proud owner of the 511 ATAC 2.0 Shields. I would highly recommend these boots for anyone who needs a good waterproof, flexible, steel toe boot. Take advantage of their labor day sale this weekend.

Well worth making a visit and checking for special sales as well as unique and very interesting events. Shout out to the folks working the evening shift 7/12/2018, Kami in particular! (Her name was on the receipt and I told her I would do this). The folks here were very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and patient. I must have tried on every boot in the store and still couldn’t decide on what I liked best. Both of them gave me their undivided attention while I decided on which boot worked best for me. I was in need of boots for my bachelor party trip and the staff were quick to help me pick out the best choice based on my needs, not the price tag. 5/5 would recommend for anyone and I never give out 5/5. Great job guys and gals. I’m sure I’ll be in again soon!

First, they sell Black Rifle Coffee! This is a great Veteran owned coffee company. They sell ground coffee and K-cups. The staff at this 5.11 location/store are amazing! They take pride in their job, know the product line very well, and don’t pressure you to spend money. The store is always extremely clean and well organized. Brian and Julio are great, and very kind! I had the honor and privilege this past year while visiting the store to meet Medal of Honor Recipient - U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Clinton L. Romesha. We had a nice conversation while he sat at a booth “Reuniting After War”, and he signed a copy of his book Red Platoon: A True Story Of American Valor. Again, this is a great store near the Mall of America and the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Stop in, you won’t regret it.

Stopped into the Minneapolis store to pick up new work boots and EMS pants. Staff was on point with product knowledge and recommendations. Store has an amazing selection. Well definitely be back to check out the Crossfit gear.

Did not go in this store,went next door but 5.11 is my favorite place to get great fitting cargo pants, nice blouses,shirts,good quality plus my packing purse so i can keep my gun with me (legally) an not have panic when i open my purse to get wallet or money since it is not seen. Great law enforcement place to get clothing an gear they use!

First time visiting 5.11 and was impressed with the selections on the items I was looking at. Bought a pair of EVO 6" side zips, good fit and feel at a good price and going from my always ECCO shoes/boots to the EVO might be good. The young man helping me was very friendly and knowledgeable and was even wearing 5.11 shoes which tells me he believes in the products he is selling. Will post more later after I have worn the boots for awhile.

Great experience! Great customer service! We don't have a store up in Canada but we have off stores that have the brand. It was a great place to see what they had! I ended up grabbing a few things as did my girlfriend and was happy with the price!

Really cool store. They have a lot of nice apparel as well as various tactical equipment. The two guys in there working were very nice and not pushy at all. Definitely would go back if I needed some kind of equipment like that.

This is the first time I've been to a brick and mortar location for 5.11 Tactical because I was in desperate need of a new pair of pants. Walked in has a polite greeting and then was left alone until I actually needed help deciding, then the guy asked me what I was looking for, he pointed out what I wanted and then asked if I needed anymore help, when I said no he walked away. This is the kind of customer service that is needed when I guy goes shopping for new cloths. Just leave me alone while I look around, that's what is needed for men. This place is absolutely amazing and I will go to this store over shopping online from now on. Ended up getting 3 pairs of pants instead of just one. I would give this place 6 stars out of 5, but because I can only give 5, then 5 stars.

The store is a great addition to the Twin Cities. Places like Streicher's and Uniforms Unlimited (now Gall's) have been ordering the 5.11 brand for years and now they have decided to sell direct with a brick and mortar store. The store is nice. You get to see all of the stuff you would normally want to check out first if you were looking online. The store itself is in a busy area of Richfield right off of 494 and Lyndale. So it's kind of a PITA to get in and out of. ProTip: Go early and on a weekday and have your coffee with you. The staff? Well, I'm 50/50 for help there in the two times I've gone in. In letting them know what kind of holster I was looking for, and for one of their bags you would figure they would know what side the velcro was going to be on to making a draw possible. They did not. So I got home with the holster and went to install it in the bag and it was a fail. Take it back and there was a slight suggestion that they shouldn't have to take it back because there was nothing wrong. So I asked for the opposite holster to make the draw possible. Because they were out they refunded me the money. It's not a bad place (everything I have ever bought from 5.11 has been good and I'm sure with a little training the employees will do great. I've seen comments about 5.11 being a place that survivalists and weekend warriors would love. Well that's not an entirely wrong statement. With that said, there are plenty of LE, EMS and Military that will love this place, not to mention people who work at the airport for some items. I rate for 3 stars. Prices are fine (let's face it everything is always 75% higher than we think it should be) I can live with it. The location for me is the brutal part. The parking lot and traffic are enough to make me want to stay away. And as a taller and bigger person (yeah I own it) the only thing I can buy are the boots, which are awesome, and some gear.

This place is always a blast! From the music selection, playing in the background, to the knowledge and friendliness of the associates. Even when they are not having a sale, I'll go just to shoot the breeze. Always an enjoyable experience.

Been wearing 5.11 boots for 5 years now. Have always had foot issues, not being able to find comfortable and wearable foot wear being one but 5.11 has never failed me, can put the boots on from day one, wear them all day till the day they have to be replaced and not have a single complaint.

Only bad thing I can say about 5.11 is, surprisingly, they do not offer a military discount. Other than that, best prices for tactical gear outside of a surplus store I've seen so far.

Overall good but they should never be out of boots in any size. Been here several times and there is always a shortage of sizes making it difficult to dial in the size that is right for a particular boot.

They had great product and knowledgeable staff. I was very pleased with that, but I was super bummed out that I was not allowed to purchase the tactical christmas stocking. I was told that I'd have to purchase $200 worth of stuff to receive the stocking. I'm a professional with 5 kids and a wife.... I can't afford to spend that kind of money so close to the holidays. As a obvious returning customer (ATTAC Storm boots, 5.11 shirt, and jeans I was wearing) I had thought I'd recieve some sort of a deal. But to be told no right off the bat.... That's disappointing and unsatisfactory.
