5/5 STARS! I went to David's Bridal in Burbank last weekend for my first bridal appointment and had the most amazing experience from start to finish. My stylist Vanessa went above and beyond to help me find which style of dress I like. If you are looking for a stylist who is friendly, patient, and makes the best recommendations - she's your girl! I asked Vanessa to pick out different styles of dresses for me to try on, and with her help I was able to find a beautiful dress that I absolutely loved and felt so comfortable in! I'm excited to come back here in a few months for another fitting to hopefully say yes to the dress, and pick out my bridesmaid dresses as well! I can't thank Vanessa enough for making my first bridal appointment so perfect.

I made an appointment to try dresses on in person for reference so that when I look at DB online I’ll know what size to shop for. I was greeted by a very knowledgeable stylist named Cienna. She knew in advance what my taste was since I filled out the questionnaire online after I booked the appointment. She made sure to show me only the dresses that matched my style. I tried on about 6-7 dresses. The last one was the winner! I cried because I felt so happy. It was literally just that easy! She helped me in every way. Checkout was also a pleasant surprise. My dress was the last one of this style in the store and it was on discount! It went from $1200 to $950. I didn’t want to go over my budget of $1,000 so this helped me justify even more why I needed to get this dress. One of the managers named Stephanie, which is my name too, rang me up and confirmed the dress was on sale! But when she told me it ended up being $599, the waterworks started to bubble forth. I got lucky and I’m thankful to have such a beautiful dress that was waiting just for me! Before I left, Stephanie came around the register to hand me the dress and give me a hug. Then I went to find Cienna and give her a hug as well! Thank you to the team and staff at DB Burbank for an amazing experience and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome! If you’re wondering, this dress is 18W. It was a little big and will be getting altered but not much needs to be done. It’s just so flattering. I can’t wait for the big day and the rest of my life.

I bought a reception and ceremony dress and David's Bridal in Burbank and had both of them altered there as well. Jo and Laura did an amazing job helping me with my alterations. They explained everything really clearly and made the experience great. Overall, I think it came out perfect. and I'm so happy with how the dresses fit.

Laura B. was absolutely amazing. She had such a great eye and helped me find the perfect dress withing minutes. Fittings in general make me very uncomfortable but she put me completely at ease and knew all the right things to say, and questions to ask. I had such a pleasant experience and would highly recommend her if you're looking to find your perfect dress! I came back to David's Bridal for the alterations and I worked with Jo and Laura. They were both absolutely wonderful and thoroughly explained every aspect of the alterations. When Jo was done with the pinning, I was even more in love with the dress than I was before. The small alterations truly make a world of difference and I felt so confident and beautiful when we were all done. My experience at DB has been amazing from the get-go and I'm so happy they were able to help me with my big day!

The appointment went very smoothly. Our consultant was very helpful. I believe we had Sylvia. She understood my vision for my bridesmaids and helped me bring that to fruition. She also made me aware about how different colors looked once photographed and to take that into consideration. We were able to take advantage of their 20% off deal. My bridesmaids were happy with the selection and they fabric choice. David’s bridal really shocked me with their customer service. I definitely will recommend!

Originally I bought my dress from Panache bridal. A dress with lots of lace and beading, and I needed to alter it a few sizes down. I brought it to David’s bridal next to my house to have it altered. Jo was my alteration specialist. I felt extremely confident in her thoughts and opinions. They way she pinned it felt perfect. I also had her do an 11 point bustle for my long train and it turned out beautiful! ❤️👍🏻

Kathy hands down was the best! She made my experience unforgettable and removed any of the stress I had. Especially since I arrived with a cane from recently having knee surgery. She often asked if I needed accommodations. My wedding is in December and this was my first time ever trying on dresses. She was patient with me. Didn’t feel rushed at all. She made great recommendations and constantly asked questions to get to know what I was looking for. Ultimately, I said “yes to the dress” and she made that moment special as well. She was also very attentive to my two family members. My family is Spanish speaking and Kathy was constantly engaging with them. She has such a positive vibe and is so good at what she does. She encouraged me to try on different silhouettes and listened to what I was looking for in a wedding dress. I love this place so much. The staff are kind, friendly and so helpful. They are ready to help you right when you enter the store. I bought my wedding dress from David’s bridal last year. They helped me pick the best dress that looked great on me. So now it’s my best friend’s wedding and I’m back here again to pick my bridesmaid dress. There are tons of colors for you to pick and several sizes. There are many locations in LA and other states. You can order the dress online and have them do the alteration. They are the best! You will never be disppointed! =)

I HATE shopping for dresses - but my appointment with Vanessa was quick, easy, and now I have a dress for my friend’s wedding! The entire staff was sweet and helpful and Vanessa was wonderful and 100% attentive. Update: I returned for my alteration and my final fitting. Rosie from alterations was incredible! She was very patient and even stayed longer than she was supposed to because she wanted to make sure that I was happy with the alterations. I really appreciated all of her efforts! Other than when I worked with Rosie, there were also not so good things about my experience as well. Vanessa helped me in an extreme emergency! I received my dress in the mail and it was too small for me. I came to David’s Bridal and she jumped on finding me a dress in my size. She pulled multiple dresses and we found the one!!!! The wedding is in one week and I was so worried that I wouldn’t have a dress or a dress that would actually fit me for the wedding. Nice dresses, and helpful staff but expensive. Alterations cost more than the bridesmaid dress. Dress was $180, alterations was over $200 for shortening shoulder, arm holes, adding bra cups and bringing up the hem. Went through with it because of peace of mind, if anything went wrong with the adjustments I feel David’s Bridal would make it right.

This was my third David's Bridal experience and was by far the best. When I arrived at the store and was greeted with my stylist (Rosie), she grabbed the ones they had in stock and I got to immediately start trying them on. She was so pleasant. She was very helpful and even gave me coupons and found the best price for me. Edit: Do not get whatever you buy here altered here. I paid double the amount of the dress for alterations. I was also told that the Dress would be steamed in alterations which wasn’t done. Now I have to pay more to get it steamed elsewhere.

I came into the store to pick up a dress that had finally came in. When I arrived I noticed it was pretty busy. I was helped my Diana immediately and was told to give them a few minutes while they grabbed my dress from inventory. She was very kind and let me know there was a sale in the shoe section. I ended up picking some shoes I liked while waiting. Diana came back with my dress within 10 mins and showed me to the register to purchase my shoes. Bri checked me out and encouraged me to sign up for the rewards program. When I first bought the dress in January the woman at the registered never mentioned anything so I lost out on 130 dollars worth of rewards points. Bri thanked me for my patience and was so sweet. Her attitude really made my experience, in that short time, very memorable.

I came in without an appointment (I know, jerk move, I didn't realize) and despite the staff being super busy with appointments, I was told I could browse and if a stylist was available, someone might help me. I figured my bad, I'll take a gander and then come back and make an appointment later. Within about 10 minutes Silvia walked over, introduced herself, and helped me pull styles in my size at a glance. She knew within a few sentences of me describing what I liked the kind of dress I was looking for. The first round of try-ons I found a stunning dress that was absolutely perfect. Silvia was helpful, knowledgeable, super accommodating, and ran me through the process of trying on, selecting, purchasing, ordering the dress from another store in a smaller size, and scheduling a day to come pick it up and have alterations done. UPDATE: Bethany at this store somehow managed to pull out a miracle, got the dress expedited, and overnighted it to my new location! It arrives tomorrow, and will be heading to start getting it fitted ASAP. ======================== Visited October 15. I was a late addition to the bridal party as a bridesmaid, wedding date January 7th. We tried on a bunch of dresses. We are told one month is needed for alterations, so we pick a dress in the right color based on the fact it will be available November 12th, allowing enough time to get alterations before January. Because I was moving across the country mid-November, we ask them to ship it to my new home in Virginia so we can go to the David's Bridal there for the alterations. November 18 rolls around. No sign of the dress. I call and I'm told it's been delayed to December 19th. No one at the store reached out to say there was a delay, I had to call them to find out. And December 19th is when the dress will arrive at the Burbank store. It will still have to be shipped to Virginia. The shoes took 4 days to arrive, so maybe the dress will come December 23rd? Flying out on January 4th for the wedding, which gives at most 12 days for alterations, with Christmas and New Years in the middle, which is probably going to be impossible. Suffice to say, we would not have gone with this exact dress if it wasn't going to be ready in time for alterations. Don't know what I'm going to tell the bride when I show up in a dress that hasn't been fitted. ☹️

When I looked in my area, David's Bridal had the best reviews out of any sort of chain, and I was surprised to learn that they now alter pretty much any piece of clothing, no matter where it's from. Every single employee in the alterations department was so kind and helpful, and they thoroughly explained the entire process and what it would cost. They also give you an itemized list of exactly what each alteration costs, so that you can determine which adjustments are within your budget! I went for my first alteration appointment on May 22nd, final fitting before sewing on June 24th, and my dress was ready for pickup on July 8th! I truly could not be happier. I honestly can't think of any other place (ever) that has ever provided this level of service. I can't remember my stylist's name, but she was a younger brunette. I had a limited budget and my stylist was so helpful in suggesting various fits and styles. I was getting frustrated (not at her) but because I couldn't find the right dress... If you’re looking for a bridal dress make sure to make an appointment! My wedding day is October 9, 2021 and I walked into David’s Bridal on October 2, 2021. The girl at the front desk was very rude! I didn’t get her name but she had medium length blonde hair. She took my info and scheduled me for the following day. Thankfully I still came in the following day and I’m glad I did. Btw, I already had a dress picked for my wedding but wanted to see my options. I was met by Joelle who very kindly helped me. She was very gracious and gave me her very honest advise with all the dresses. She made me feel extremely confident and sure about the dresses I was choosing. When it came down to the two dresses I liked she never rushed me and made sure I felt sure about my decision. I’m a very shy individual and am glad Joelle was my stylist. If I had to rate her I’d give her a 10/10. I’m glad I didn’t let my initial experience get in the way of me going back. The first girl on the first day honestly made me feel as if my visit wasn’t important, Joelle changed my mind completely. I will definitely recommend her services and Davids Bridal to friends and family.

I had originally had a specific style in mind when trying out dresses and had showed those to Renee for reference. She pulled out dresses in my style and helped me try them on and actively listened to my opinions on them and how I felt with them. With her suggestion, I tried a dress different than my original style and instantly fell in love with it. Before we even began she told us which styles of dresses would most likely look best on each of our body types but was very positive - never saying one of us was better than the other. I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful the staff at the Burbank David’s Bridal is! I walked in 30 minutes before closing and I was a nervous wreck. My bridesmaids dress didn’t fit and the wedding is this weekend. Cecelia (one of the managers) was so warm and understanding, made me feel immediately relaxed, and actually got the dress to zip! This was not even a David’s bridal dress, I went to them in an emergency and she gave me all of her attention and cared so much about me leaving happily. Update: had my first fitting today with Jo & Sarah. They were so gentle, kind and considerate. Jo made alterations that I didn’t even know were possible but targeted areas I knew in my heart I was hoping to adjust (like taking in my chest line to show more skin). The women who work here are absolute angels. I came in three different times. Once alone, again with a friend, and again alone. They were so encouraging and complimentary. But most of all, they were supportive. I was torn between two dresses and went with the crowd favorite (mom and friends who saw pics). After thinking on it, I decided the other dress was actually the one. When I came back on my 3rd visit to pick up the dress, I tried on the other dress and cried bc I knew THAT one was really “the one”. The team was so helpful and the swap was super easy. Thank you!!

I went to David’s bridal to try on some wedding dresses. I was really nervous because it was my first time. Everyone at David’s bridal was extremely friendly and helpful, which made me feel very calm and excited. Rosie,my stylist, helped me choose the perfect dress and was very patient with me. Fae, Ally, Jo and Amara helped alter my dress so it fit me perfectly. A big big Thank you to Amara for being so kind and patient with me during my second fitting. She walked me through the alterations and the bustling process, which I’m super grateful for. She also had me walk in my altered dress to make sure it fit me perfectly. The customer service was exceptional, again from the time we walked in the manager Kat was amazing and then we were blessed and privileged to have Vanessa as our sales associate, she was so friendly and made us feel comfortable immediately. It was my first time, and my daughters also, to come into a bridal shop and I was nervous about being overwhelmed but Vanessa changed all that and we both left with smiles on our faces thank you😊 Thank you for the experience and making it a wonderful one!
