Whitney was absolutely wonderful for my very first bridal appointment! I was so nervous going into it, but Whitney made it feel like a breeze. She was so helpful with styling all the details and pulling dresses to suit my requests. She was informative and personable. The store had TONS of plus size options, which is very important to me! The dresses are good prices, and there’s a huge range of styles! Whitney never rushed us, and she went over the top for me to find the perfect dress. Whitney - you are amazing!!! I highly recommend this shop for anyone who is looking for a personalized experience with excellent service and a wide range of choices, especially as a plus size bride.

Words cannot describe how amazing our experience here was. My mom is the bride and she was treated like an absolute queen! From the moment we stepped foot in the door, we were greeted with excellence. Our consultant, Adrian, was an absolute DREAM and made the process special, fun, and comfortable. There were many dresses to try on and each one was just as stunning as the next. But she actually hit knocked it out of the park with the very first dress she pulled! The dress checked every single thing off our list, complimented my moms body type beautifully, surpassed any expectation we could have imagined. Adrian took our vision and ran with it and man, oh man did she made our mouths drop in awe. The excellence that this place has is unparalleled! Not to mention, the prices are absolutely amazing! I will absolutely use Bridal and Formal Boutique House of Tux for any formal needs and would 100% suggest this shop to everyone!

My daughter found the dress of her dreams today! I was nervous about driving 3 hours and was afraid we would walk out empty handed. Adrian was AMAZING! A very late THANK YOU to the incredible team at House of Tux. Not only is the space absolutely stunning, but the team Adrian has working behind her is beyond incredible. I have grown up going to this store for all of my homecoming, prom, and cotillion events, so it was only fitting to venture here to find my wedding dress! Adrian and the team accommodated me with open arms and I ended up finding my dress that day. The praise doesn't stop there... I have since gone back multiple times to try on the dress to make sure it works perfectly with my hair, makeup, accessories... the whole nine yards. Moral of the story is -- if you're looking for an accommodating team, a team that truly knows how to make you feel so fabulous, and the BEST selection of gowns in MS I couldn't recommend them enough! When I tell you Adrian is the sweetest thing in this world, I’m not even kidding. To be honest, I walked in not really excited to be dress shopping because my sisters weren’t able to make it to share the experience with me. Thank god for FaceTime. Not only was Adrian dealing with me trying on dresses, she was also helping my other sister with the whole FaceTime situation. It was so much appreciated and something I will never forget. My daughter and I had the best experience with Melodie today prom dress shopping. We came in just to look in the middle of Homecoming madness to get a head start on prom dresses. Melodie took her time and was so nice and helpful. My daughter had the best time and was so excited she found her prom dress. After we picked the dress Jackie checked us out. I booked an appointment to try on wedding dresses. Tabitha was my consultant and was wonderful. She brought me and my mom into our own room where there was a large mirror and a stage. It was very personable and I wish I brought more people! I was not very hopeful going there because of my previous wedding dress shopping. I described to Tabitha what I was looking for. She said she had two dresses in mind that were discontinued. We went through and grabbed multiple dresses, but I was immediately drawn to one of the dresses she mentioned. I tried that dress on and immediately fell in love. It was over my budget but since it was discontinued, Tabitha got it marked down for me. I didn't even try on any other dresses. The whole experience was amazing!

Whitney was amazing. She listens to what you do and do not like. She works with you to make sure you can see the way a dress can be altered and explains how they can make it happen. If you find your dream dress somewhere else, it is worth calling Whitney to see if they can order it. She was able to order my dress and walked me through it all. I arrived at Bridal and Formal Boutique 8 minutes before they closed (shame on me!), and the staff greeted me warmly and asked how they could help. They made me feel welcome and instantly identified the exact dress I was looking for from a photo online. Even though I told them I was planning to order from another store (the bride is placing the order for all the bridesmaids dresses at a store in Georgia) and just needed to try the dress on for size, the associate treated me with the same kindness as she would’ve done for someone shopping for an expensive wedding dress. She didn’t rush me or make me feel like I had to make a choice. She made me feel like we had been friends for years because she just has that kind for personality. Had a mostly positive experience with this store! Whitney went above and beyond for me to encourage and eventually chose my dream wedding dress. She was very knowledgeable, sweet, and helpful. I had been to several Shops before this one was always left discouraged but not here. I am from mobile and while it was a drive for me it was very worth it! I am using this place for my bridesmaids dresses and suits for the men. The alterations department leaves a lot to be desired which is why I said mostly positive. I have had many issues with that department that one one could seem to fix. Parts of my dress were taken up unevenly causing my dress to sit crooked while wearing, and the top to be an uneven number of inches from my neck. These issues were very obvious but the lady doing my alterations refused to acknowledge my problems. I finally got things to be fixed in an okay manner but was far from happy or satisfied but with my wedding quickly approaching I had no other choice. Over all a pleasant experience. However, I may suggest taking somewhere else for alterations.

I went in telling myself I was not going to make a decision that day, and the lady ( she was young and I do not remember her name at the moment) helping me was so patient and not pushy at all. I made an appointment, receiving a text follow up afterwards and the day before. When I arrived everyone was pleasant. Ms. Cindy was my bridal consultant. I couldn't have been more pleased working with her. In the event I need any other services from this boutique I will request Ms. Cindy. She walked me to the showroom and based on my likes we pulled dresses. What I appreciate most is she took her time to listen to me. At no time did I feel rushed or pressured. I came without my mother or bridesmaids on this first visit and she did her absolute best to keep them filled in as I tried on dresses. On my return visit with a bridesmaid, she again exuded that same sweet personality and professionalism. As I tried on the same two dresses for hours coming to my final conclusion she was there and happy to help. Although this boutique is large, I am appreciative of the personalized experience they offer. There may have been lots of people there on my Friday and Saturday appointments, but I never noticed because of how tailored my experience was. Truly this shop has something for everyone ranging from flower girls to evening dresses. I have been to may bridal shops, and I can say Bridal And Formal Boutique is priced competitively. I would recommend setting up an appointment prior to coming.

I ended up having 2 separate bridal appointments and both times I had Whitney as my bridal consultant. She was phenomenal from the start. She made sure she knew exactly what I was wanting. I went for a tux to get married in. I went 3 times total and this review is the overview from all 3 visits. The overall quality seemed very good to me. The building was kinda blah and parking was horrible, especially coming from the east, which is why I gave appeal a good rating. The service was excellent. I walked in the door (they have an annoying door chime, by the way) and was greeted by 3 people almost immediately. After I noticed the tux I liked, the staff showed me all of the colors available, all of the styles available, and the was willing to dress the dummy in all of them (I told them they didn't have to do all that). After colors were chosen, we figured out my sizes, and I told them I would be back to pick it up. When I returned, the staff immediately attended to me again and pulled retrieved the tux I ordered. They let me fit it right then and there to make sure everything was right. The tux itself fit like a glove. I paid them and left again. On the return date, we ended up forgetting to bring the tux back. It was the honeymoon after all. ;-) In any event, I returned it the morning after fully expecting to pay the late fee, and they took the tux, wrote in that I returned it, waived the late fee, and sent me on my way! Needless to say, I was thoroughly impressed. Its not often that people will give you little things that make all the difference.

I am the maid of honor for my best friend's wedding and we stumbled upon the store while looking for bridesmaid dresses. We had been to several other local and chain retail stores, but never found the chic styles that we found at Bridal and Formal Boutique & House of Tux. This store has a very extensive selection of bridesmaid dresses, all stylish. Aside from the variety of styles, I was blown away by the competitive prices. With eight bridesmaids it was very important for us to find an option that not only looked great, but was affordable. I was worried that a local boutique would be out of our price range. NOPE! They have dresses that are priced competitively with that big chain store everyone thinks about when searching for bridesmaid dresses, except Bridal and Formal Boutique & House of Tux actually has cute dresses! Their staff was extremely helpful and was enthusiastic about helping us find the perfect bridesmaid dresses. Let's be honest, sometimes, we women can get a self-conscious while shopping for dresses. Their staff was always encouraging and honest; when something didn't look right, they were truthful about it, but always had a great alternative to suggest. I am extremely short, so I obviously had to have alterations done. Their seamstress did a fabulous job and I was truly shock at how inexpensive their alterations done. I had to ask the price several times, because I wasn't sure I was hearing it right. I was expecting to pay something similar to that chain store. Wrong again. BaFB&HoT was extremely reasonable. I had some fit issues with the dress, due to my body shape, and the staff, again, was very helpful with presenting solutions, while not pushing their other products. They genuinely wanted to see me look my best in this dress. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my shopping experience here. I was shout my praise for this store from the rooftops! All I regret is not finding the store sooner, so my own bridesmaids could shop here.

The staff was extremely nice... however when I called and booked my apt they requested me to send my Pinterest wedding dress board to them if I had one, so that the lady helping me had ideas to go off from and got have them pulled and ready for me on the day of my apt.. I thought wow!!! This is so great 😁 until the day of my apt when I showed up and she threw me in the room of dresses and told me to pull the dresses I wanted to try on. I thought hmmm well what was the point of me sending in my Pinterest board!!! Not to mention I had no idea what I was doing and I was over whelmed as it was... by the end of my day she was practically no help with options or deciding factors... on another note my wedding date had me time consumed for options so I had to have a special request to leave with THAT dress THAT day otherwise it wouldn't come in on time... and guess what?? They let me get it 😊 So if you're in a hurry they are definitely the ones to go to. Other thing was she never offered anything to drink as it stated they offered free water and etc I mean all in all my experience was OK it was amazing but it wasn't horrible. I wouldn't NOT recommend them. Beautiful boutique with lots of cool things. OH YEAH, they also switched buildings and did NOT mention that before so we got lost on the way there that was aggravating also.
