Very helpful staff. Tons of selection and mostly reasonable prices. Tailor on stuff for same day alterations. You can walk in and be helped but I do recommend calling ahead a week or so to set up an appointment with a sales rep and also ask about reserving time for the tailor that day for same day alterations if you live out of the area like I do. I will definately be back and have no complaints at all. They really help a lot with helping you choose the right items and making sure they fit as they should.

Amazing!!! Great service, (Kyle was amazing) the prices were supreme, and the clothes themselves were amazing quality. It was just so awesome to get an amazing suit, that wasn't too expensive, and amazing quality. Also, the wait time for the tailoring process is soo awesome. Only three days, while other places I know of had a tailoring wait of 3-6 weeks. (Also, that other place prices was WAY to much. 7 hundred a person. WAY to expensive)

I am beyond happy!!! I had two teenage boys at needed suits. Kyle was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and respectful. We didn't have a lot of $ to spend, and he totally respected that. He found my boys very nice suits, fit them, and listened to their styles. If I could give infinite stars I would!! We will ONLY purchase suits here!!

I bought a great 3 piece suit from them for 200 bucks. The guy who helped me find a suit was very friendly and very helpful. The place is very clean. They guy who helped me when I picked up my suit after it was tailored was friendly and helped me pick out a shirt as well. Thank you guys I'll be back to buy more suits from there for sure! A lot more selection than men's warehouse by far!

We continuously have wonderful experiences with Halberstadt's in the mall. Most recently: our elopement! We realized last minute that my husband's pants were too small. It was Black Friday and we were leaving the following day for California. My husband called the store to check if they had the correct sizes - the guys on the phone were super friendly and confirmed. We headed to the mall and were pleasantly greeted immediately. The guys even knew who we were from the phone and led us in the right direction. They helped us not only find awesome pants, but also convinced us to splurge a little on shoes and a belt. Kyle helped me pick out a suit for a wedding me and my girlfriend had to attend in Iceland and was SUPER helpful, patient, kind and just a downright cool guy with a stunning suit that complicated his expertise with suits. Also, got a nicer and tailored suit for HALF of what I was expecting the spend. My budget was $600, and I had about $300 saved in my pocket. Just really an absolute wonderful experience. 100% recommend Halberstads and tipping my hat towards Kyle's customer service!

I've been here in July and November. In July the sales man was rush, rush, go, go! Ultimately unprofessional, and not worth the effort. I was so upset I wasn't even sure I was going to come back. Well, I did, my fiancée insisted on giving them a second chance and the guy Garret was professional, not as rushed but still quick, and actually did a good job. I was pleasantly surprised as he actually conversed with us as he did his job. Now I have 2 nice suits and some nice shirts. Not bad.

A friend of mine was recently married, and we used this store for the suits. None of us work desk jobs, so we aren’t familiar with how a jacket is supposed to fit, nor the process to see if the items will fit. For fitting, we were given the shirt and pants, then the jacket after confirming the shirt and pants fit. However, I had given the dress shirt back to the staff person prior to putting on the coat. This later became a problem for me when I received my suit and was able to try everything on together, as my suit fit snugly over my thin T shirt layer, but was slightly too small in the shoulders with the undershirt and dress shirt. While this is ultimately my fault, this seems like something that should have been noticed by the fitting staff, and that I should have been instructed to try on everything together to avoid this issue. I, along with half of the groomsmen, do not live in Fargo, so this was not discovered until a week and a half prior to the wedding when our suits were delivered to us. My jacket was unaltered, but I was told that I could not exchange it for a size up. Additionally, the sleeves on my shirt were far too loose, and were not altered, despite my request in store that the sleeves be taken in to not fit like a 1990s “relaxed fit” dress shirt. Additionally, my pants arrived with a dark shiny one inch line on them, that looked like they had been pressed with an iron held too long in one spot. To their credit, they were willing to exchange the pants promptly, though I had to have the hem altered (see below), as the length was too long on the second pair. To make a long story short, I was not the only one with these issues. Had the groom’s mom not been a seamstress, we would have been completely screwed on wedding day. Between the 7 men fitted for suits, only one jacket ended up unaltered by the groom’s mother and truly fit properly. At least two others had to have their pants further altered as well. The mother of the groom ended up buying the groom another jacket at full cost, because his was so poorly sized that she couldn’t alter the jacket to salvage it. Without her, most groomsmen would have looked like a box. The moral of the story: I wouldn’t say don’t go here…But I was really disappointed by the fitting experience. The fitting is why you come here for suits rather than grabbing one off the rack at a department store, and our experience in that regard was a huge swing and miss. I shouldn’t have to be mistrusting of staff and try on a size up and down of everything to ensure the best fit. My expectation is for staff at a store like this to be knowledgeable enough to look at the way the clothing fits, direct me towards the proper size and fit as needed and help avoid the situation our group found ourselves in. Hope this helps future customers find the best suit possible

Went in to buy a dress shirt and Hunter was quickly able to help me. He measured me and found a couple of different shirts at different price points for options. I was able to find an inexpensive shirt my size in under 5 minutes. I won't be wasting my time looking anywhere else again.

This has to be my favorite place for men's suits! The staff is fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. I was able to find exactly what I wanted with minimal effort at a fantastic price. I will be returning here every time I need a new suit from now on. I was greeted immediately and treated with respect the entire time by everyone on staff. The alterations were ready in just a couple of days.

Halberstadt’s is likely THE reason I have a horrendous addiction so shopping. The staff is always lookin’ good and very willing to get you threaded up. Don’t forget your wallet though, the bill can get out of hand in a hurry if you’re not careful.

The person who helped me (Nate) was very professional and got me what I wanted very quickly and efficiently. He was friendly and filled out requirements better than expected. I needed a lavender tie and silver shirt and he produced exactly what I wanted. I didn't give five stars because I heard they were mean to employees. I don't know how true that is but I would rather not give five stars because of it.

I was part of a wedding that got suit here. I live out of town so it didn't make sense to drive in to get measured at the store so I called in my measurements. I did have some trouble getting the correct suit and I ended up working with the manager, Kevin who was clear that he wanted to get everything right and do what was going to make me happy. One thing they should change is sending out the suits for wedding parties more than one month before the wedding. It does not leave much extra time to deal with any hiccups if they come up.

This is our go-to place for dress clothes for my husband. They have his size, both big and tall, in everything. Tim is our guy and I am quite sure he knows every thread in the store. You could come out of the store dressed, literally, with a hat on your had down to shoes on your feet. Prices are very reasonable and quality is excellent.
